Rain falls on top of the dark tower that rose above Vale with the full moon lighting up the battle between the twins Dante and Dominic as a woman began to speak

???: You've heard of it haven't you? The Legend of Sparda. When I was young my father would tell me stories about it.

Blake's voice came in as Dante slid across the wet floor with Rebellion in his hands as he charges in for an attack

Blake: Long ago, in ancient times, a demon rebelled against his own kind for the sake of the humans and faunus.

More and more voices chimed in telling the story of this great demon warrior

Weiss: With his sword,  he shut the portal to the demonic realm and sealed the evil entities off from our world.

Dominic spun around and he drags Yamato across the ground and his blade strikes with Rebellion creating sparks that flew across the ground

Yang: But since he was a demon himself, his power was also trapped on the other side.

???: I never believed it. I thought it was just a child's fairy tale.

Ruby: But this so called legend wasn't a myth at all. Sparda existed.

Obito: How do we know? Well...

The twins fought one on one trading blows with their swords as the rain falls down on them washing away all of the blood each other spilled

Sapphire: We met the sons of Sparda.We trained with them. Fought with them. Lived with them. They were our friends. Hiding away their secret from us. Was it from the fear of being seen as demons? Was it to keep us safe from their cursed bloodline?

The swords of the twins moved so fast that they were cutting every single rain drop that fell down on them as they battled one another, creating a dome of dryness around them until they clashed swords and the rain fell down on them once again

Blake: Though the same blood of their father flowed through their veins, the two battled each other fiercely like arch enemies.

The friction from their swords rubbing up against each other began to heat up the metal from their blades creating smoke that trickled up into the air as they stared at each other with hate in their eyes

Weiss: It seems as if they derived some sort of twisted pleasure from this brotherly fighting.

Dominic broke the clash and disarmed Dante of his sword and the reflection of him stabbing Dante could be seen through Rebellion as it fell to the ground

Both stood there while Dante panted, holding the blade of Yamato as it stabbed through him until Dominic pulls it out of him and he begins to fall. As he does so, Dominic reached out and takes the amulet that was around his neck

Yang: But in the end....

Ruby: Only one was left standing...

Dominic slicks back his hair and walks away from his half dead brother with Rebellion until he turned back around and thrusted the sword into his chest

Dante gasps and sits up panting making everyone present jump back a little bit

Obito: Dante!!

Blake shoves past everyone and hugs Dante who grunts a little and pats her shoulder

Dante: Okay okay I'm alive. Praise Jeebus.

Sapphire: Glad you're okay. Now for the questions. Question one: WHAT-?!

Sapphire points out to the tower in the distance

Sapphire: Second question: -THE FUCK?!

Dante: That's a good question. Let me go find out.

Dante grunts and stands to his feet and rolls his shoulders

Blake: What?! Dante you can't!

Dante: Why not?

A scythe wielding demon screeches and jumps up behind everyone and goes in to kill them when Dante points Ivory behind him and shoots the demon, turning it to dust

Dante:*sigh* Guess it can wait for now.

More demons appeared around the group and everyone stands together with their weapons out while Dante just rolls his eyes and pulls out his sword

Dante: This won't take long.

Weiss: How can you be so nonchalant about this?!

Dante: This ain't my first rodeo Ice Queen. Now shut up and fight or die.

Sapphire: Watch it Dante or else you're gonna get another sword through the chest.

Dante: Heh, whatever.

Dante cheers and jumps into the fight with two demons as the rest of team ODDS, RWBY, and JNPR all fight together against the demons

Obito: Argh! Come on!!

Sapphire: What's up?

Obito: I ran out of kunai and shuriken an hour ago and now I'm running low on energy!

Sapphire: Then just sit this one out. We got this.

Obito: No way! I want to help!

Sapphire: Help Ruby then!

Sapphire ducks under a swing from a demon and stabs it through the chest with the blade of his own scythe and he picks up the demon with it and throws it into another one

Yang roars as he fights through an onslaught of demons with rage fueling her punches and kicks. With every strike she was reminded of the fact that her friend, the one who saved her as a child, was the one who stole Summer from her and her family. She began to choke out a demon as it gasped for air and tried to claw her face but she smirked and broke its neck letting the corpse fall to the ground and turn into dust

Yang:*panting* You're next Dominic...

A larger demon jumps down from a building and screeches as it raised a massive scythe in its hands

Nora: DIBS!!

Dante: Di- aww come on!

Nora laughs and jumps up, swinging her hammer down on the demon who blocks it with its scythe and their weapons bounce off of each other. They try to hit each other again but they bounce off again and again and they eventually started to clash blades while making the Tetris theme with them

Nora:*giggle* This is fun!

Jaune: I'M NOT HAVING FUN!!

Jaune screams like a girl as he uses his shield to block a demon from clawing at his face only to be saved by Yang who punches the demon to the floor and stomps its head into the ground

Jaune: Thanks Yang!

Yang grabs Jaune by his shirt and pulls him close to her

Yang: Get your freaking head on straight Jaune!! If you're not gonna fight with all your heart then why are you even here?!

Jaune: Wh-I-I-I-uh

Yang: "Uh-uh-uh-uh!" That's what I thought!

Yang throws Jaune to the side and runs at more demons

Sapphire: She's...she's pissed.

Dante: Let her vent.

Dante shoots a few demons with Ebony, killing then as Sapphire tosses his scythe around and it circles the area around everyone, killing every demon around them except the large one Nora was still fighting

Nora: Ha ha ha ha ha!

Ren jumps in and slices the legs of the demon with his weapons making it kneel down which allows Nora to slam her hammer up its chin and she sent it flying into a building

Pyrrha stabs a demon but it doesn't kill it and the demon shrieks and swings its claws at her causing her to duck under her shield as Blake's sword comes over her head and decapitates the demon

Pyrrha: Thank you..

Blake: Yeah..don't mention it.

Obito was helping Ruby who was still in a state of uncertainty as they fought a demon together

Obito: Haa!

The shinobi kicks the demon in the face which disorientates it, giving Ruby the chance to cut it in half with her scythe

Obito:*panting* Are you alright?

Ruby: I...n...I don't know.

Obito: Hey, it'll be okay. You guys just...don't know the whole story.

Ruby sniffles and wipes her eyes

Ruby: Okay..

Dante: Yo! Sapphire!

Sapphire: What!

Dante: Hailstorm!

Sapphire: Heh! You read my mind!

Both boys jumped into the air and rained ice and bullets on the battlefield. Any demon not killed by bullets were turned into ice sculptures by Sapphire and his ice arrows

Dante: Ah there's no kill like overkill.

Sapphire: You said it.

Nora: Hey! Did anyone see a giant monster about yay high, big scythe, looks like it needs a sandwich?

Sapphire: No, sorry!

Nora: Dangit!

Yang: We're wasting time! Let's go!

Weiss: Go? Go where? Up there?! No way! These..things didn't show up until that thing appeared! We should be helping the people evacuate.

Yang: Then you can do that while we go up there and find Dominic!

Weiss: How are you sure he's even there! He could be anywhere! After what you said to him.

Yang: Oh so now I'm the bad guy? Me? I'm not the one who killed his mom! He killed mine! Now...I'm gonna kill him!

Sapphire: That's enough Yang. Y-

Yang: You don't get to say anything to me! None of you do! You don't understand how...how...

Ruby: Yang...

Yang looks at her sister who was crying while Obito was with her and she lost the red glow in her eyes and lowered her fists and looked down at the floor

Yang: ....I....I just want to know why...

Dante: You will. When I drag his ass back here. Adios!

Dante begins walking towards the tower while everyone present watches him. Blake runs up and shouts his name and he turns around to look at her

Blake: Please don't die..

Dante smirks and continues walking, giving no words but a two fingered salute to Blake

Dante: No doubt you've got some fun planned for me. Right Dominic!

Dante exclaimed as he outstretched his arms walking towards the base of the tower where a giant whale-like creature flies around the top of it

At the top of the tower, Dominic stood there as the wind blows through his coat and hair. His mind focusing on one phrase

I HATE YOU!!

A set of feet comes up behind him and he turns his head slightly and speaks to the owner of the noise

Dominic: Arkham.

Arkham: Well? Doesn't it excite you? The Temen Ni Gru has revived, the Great one who once ruled this world as the medium between the Human World and the Demon World.

The bald man begins spouting on about the tower they were standing on as he walks over to the edge and stands beside Dominic

Arkham: Isn't it a magnificent view? The greatest minds of their time, those who revered Evil, constructed this glorious edifice. Now, after two millenniums of confinement, it can at last fulfill the purpose for which it was intended—

Dominic: That's...none of my concern.

Arkham: Hm. Did he have it? Your brother?

Dominic: Of course.

Arkham: Then why not take it?

Dominic: It would be all too easy. I want to tear it from him when he is beaten. When he sees that I am superior to him.

Arkham: Huh. I had assumed that your time amongst these cretins had changed you. I was wrong...you're still the same young devil you always were. Does he know of what it does? Of it's true true power?

Dominic: No, he believes it to be a keepsake from the mother we lost.

The large demon from before reaches the top of the tower and screeches at Dominic who ignores it and walks away from it and it follows him. Stopping, Dominic draws Yamato and stabs the demon behind him and he sheathes his katana and the demon falls into two halves and its body crumbles down the length of the tower with Arkham watching.

Night falls on Vale as multiple airships leave the city while others stayed in the safety of Beacon Academy's walls.

Yang shouts and throws a desk at the wall while her teammates try to calm her down

Blake: Yang stop it!

Yang: How could he?! That demon!! How could he just leave her?!

Weiss: Just calm down and listen!

Yang: No! I won't listen to you guys defending him!! How could you even think of that?!

Blake: We're just trying to calm you down!

Yang shouts and walks into the bathroom and slams the door shut behind her. Ruby goes over to the toppled desk and picks up the crystal flower Dominic had given her on their first time meeting each other. Well...technically second. She grabs it and looks at it, remembering how kind he was to her.

A knock at their door knocks Ruby out of her train of thought and Weiss opens it and leans to the side for Sapphire and Obito to walk inside

Sapphire: She's still mad?

Weiss: To put it mildly.

Blake: What do we do?

Obito: I think you should hear the whole story..

Obito walks towards the window and looks out at the cracked moon in the sky, the image of it reflecting off his goggles that he lifts off his eyes

Weiss: The whole story?

Sapphire: Sit down.

Sapphire pulls up a chair while Blake and Weiss sit together on a bed while Ruby looks at them while still knelt on the floor

Sapphire: Obito, you're his friend, tell them.

Obito:*long sigh* It happened when they were eight. The two of them had gotten into a fight and their mom gave them a punishment. Help her out in the garden. It wasn't harsh or anything but..Dominic felt like he was the one being punished for just wanting to be left alone. He ran out to a playground that was near his home and sulked there for a while. Then it happened...

Blake: What?

Obito: They were attacked. By demons. They attacked them all separately. Dante was somewhere while Dominic was attacked in the playground. He watched as his house burned down while he was being attacked by demons. They were just kids...and they went through all that. Losing their home...their mother...

Weiss: But I thought their mother died of cancer.

Sapphire: That was their cover story. It wasn't good but it didn't make you ask questions.

Blake: Wait, what happened after?

Obito: To Dante? Well...I guess he was hidden while everything happened. Dominic...he wasn't so lucky. Calling out for help to anyone but no one answered him. He thought he would die. He was scared. Then something came to him...his sword. Yamato. It came to him when he needed it the most. He told me that something awoke inside of him when he grabbed it.

Weiss: And that was?

Sapphire: Power. The power of a demon. Not just any demon, the power of one of the oldest demons in history. His tale is so old that you can't even find his name in the history books unless you really dig deep. That demon was their father.

Blake: Are you saying that...Dante and Dominic are half...demon?

Obito: Yeah. I mean, regeneration and super strength? It isn't exactly normal.

Weiss: But why hide this?

Sapphire: The same reason why Blake hid she was a faunus. Imagine telling your friends that you come from evil blood.

Obito: Not necessarily evil but...their father was a demon. But he was one who rose up against his kind and defended us from them.

Blake: Wait...

Standing up, Blake goes over to the bookshelf in their room and looks for something inside it

Sapphire: You have something to tell us?

Blake: I remember reading something about a dark knight who rose up against a tyrant king and protected the people all on his own.

Blake grabs an old book and begins flipping through the pages and stops when she finds what she was looking for

Blake: Here! The Dark Knight. I remembered this story because my parents read it to me once as a kid.

Weiss: Yes, I remember this tale. But it's just a bedtime story. There's no way it's real is it?

Sapphire: Afraid so. That knight was their father. And he was a demon.

Ruby: And...what does this have to do with that tower?

Blake: It was apparently the kings castle. I don't know, this book is old so who knows if anything in it is true besides their father being the knight in this book.

Obito: Well...that's all he told me about his father. He disappeared when they were young and they never saw him again.

Sapphire: Those demons probably waited for him to leave so they could attack his family.

Weiss: But then where is he now? Why not try to find his sons?

Sapphire: Maybe he's dead too. Who knows really.

Blake: Is that all he told you Obito?

Obito: No. He...he told me something else too. About...her.

Weiss: Her?

Sapphire: Let me explain it Obito. You've done enough.

Obito wipes his eyes and goes to sit with Ruby who had the flower in her hands still

Weiss: What else is there to reveal?

Sapphire: A very dark aspect of Dominic's past. Yang. You're gonna want to hear this too.

Silence. Sapphire sighed and sat down on the bed in front of everyone

Sapphire: After they were attacked, Dominic ran from his home. You have to understand, he thought he was all that remained of his family. He ran and ran. He ran until he couldn't walk and he fell to the ground. That's when..she came for him.

Blake: Who is she?

Obito: Blair...a damn..demon! She..!

Obito's hands were shaking causing Ruby to grab them and look at him with a smile and he started to calm down as Sapphire continued the story

Sapphire: She was a demon. But a specific one. A succubus. And this one..liked little boys as her prey.

The girls gasped when they heard this. They couldn't imagine how much Dominic was hurting inside all the time from what Blair did to him

Weiss: And...and what happened...n-next?

Sapphire: You don't want to know.

Blake: ....a boy...he was just a boy!

Sapphire:*nods* Yeah. It's disgusting. And she was here today.

RWB/Obito: What?!

Obito: She was here?! Again?!

Ruby: But why? Why is she trying to get him?

Sapphire: She said he...you know what, I don't think I'll go on. She's a sick being. I tell you, when I saw her my blood boiled. I fought her off as Yang carried Dominic away. She got away...I'll make sure that won't happen next time.

Inside of the bathroom, Yang looked at herself in the mirror. Hearing everything made her head spin and she can't decide if she should be angry or sad. On one hand, the boy who protected her, who she searched for so long was her classmate and friend. On the other, was the demon responsible for taking away a mother from her. What was she to do? She looks out the window and sees the tower on the horizon and her path was clear.

Ruby knocks on the bathroom door but gets no response

Ruby: Yang? Yang please open the door. Yang...please...just come out. I know you heard everything. Let's just wait for Dante to come back and we can ask Dominic everything. Okay? Yang?

Sapphire knocks on the door and waits for an answer before he starts pounding on it

Sapphire: Yang!

Sapphire kicks down the door and walks in expecting to see Yang but finds the bathroom empty and the window open

Sapphire: Damn..

Ruby: She's gone!!

Blake: What?!

Weiss: Well where did she even go?!

Obito: To the one place that she could most likely find Dominic.

Obito points out to the horizon where the tower was in full view. Team RWBY and ODDS had another mission: Sneak out and find Yang and bring her home.

Outside of the tower, a woman on a motorcycle rode up and comes to a complete stop. She pulls down a pair of goggles from her face and looks up at the massive tower

???: I found it!

A pack of demons crept up behind her and he smirks and revs the engine of her motorcycle and flames spew from the exhaust as she drives off towards the tower. The demons all die in the formation of a three

Yang walks up to the scene and recoils at the smell of burning flesh

Yang: Blech! Geez. Phew!

She plugs her nose and she looks up the length of the tower

Yang: I'm gonna find you Dominic...and you're gonna tell me everything. Even if I have to beat it out of you.

She continues on towards the tower with the wind blowing her blond hair to the side as he walks past the destroyed remnants of Vale.

Dante, who was already inside, walks through the entrance to a room that felt like Atlas during the winter season as well was a statue of a three headed dog in ice with chains sticking out of it blocking the entrance to the tower itself. Only it wasn't a statue.

The ice shattered and a three headed Cerberus roared and speaks to Dante in a low demonic growl

Cerberus: Leave now, mortal! The likes of you are not forbidden in this land! You who are powerless are not worthy to set foot here!

Dante: Wow, I've never seen a talking mutt before. You know in a dog show, you'd definitely take first place.

Dante's insult angers the giant demon and the room began to shake

Cerberus: You, a mere human, make a mockery of me?! RAAAHH!!

The demon roars and shoots out a ball of ice at Dante that he hops over and let's it hit the door behind him. He looks back at the door and shrugs

Dante: Easy, Fido! How about I take you out for a walk? Come on puppy, let's go!

Dante starts kissing and clapping his hands at the Cerberus like it was a common pit bull. Correction, it is a common pit bull.

Cerberus: You'll regret this, you worm!

Dante: It's showtime!

Dante hops up and down to get the blood flowing and he throws a few punches in the air before wiping his nose and smirking at the demon hound

Dante: Come on!

Cerberus fires another ball of ice that Dante dodges and he draws his sword and rushes the three headed demon with a stinger that pushes his sword into the cheek of one of the heads making it roar in pain and causing the ice in the ceiling to start falling

Dante jumps back and does what his family does best and kicks one of the falling ice blocks into the left head of the Cerberus, dazing it.

Dante: Yeah!!

Dante zips around the room and thrusts his sword forward and stabs the middle head multiple times, destroying the ice that it had around itself as armor and one final thrust destroyed it. One down, two to go.

Outside, Yang tries to push open the door but the ice on the other side was keeping it shut and she cursed before she tries punching it but it didn't move. She sighs and looks around before deciding to just climb up the side of the tower

Dante: EYAAH!!

Dante slices diagonally and slices a ball of ice shot by the Cerberus and chuckles as the demon roars and tries to jump at Dante but the chains embedded in its skin

The young demon hunter posed with his weapon before jumping up and slashing the right side head until it got weak enough for him to jump off of and slice it off leaving one head remaining. Dante gripped the handle of his sword with both hands and swings hard with his body and knocks the demon back to the end of the room defeating it.

Cerberus: You are not human, are you?

Dante: Who knows? I'm not even sure myself.

Cerberus: Regardless, you have proved your strength. I acknowledge your ability. Take my soul and go forth! You have my blessing!

Cerberus growls and roars, exploding into snow and leaving only a ball of light behind that floats over to Dante who reaches out to it. The ball of light turns into three pronged nunchucks that Dante immediately begins practicing with and within seconds, he begins using it like he was training with it for years.

Dante: Too easy!

Dante puts the new weapon away and begins walking to the next room when the door explodes and the girl from outside flies in on her motorcycle and Dante jumps over her, catching a good glimpse of her before landing.

Dante: Are you going to the party? What's the hurry, didn't you get an invitation?

The girl pays no attention to Dante and points her weapon behind her and it fires a rocket that flies at Dante who bends backwards and puts his foot up on the rocket and starts to ride it cheering and whooping as he rides it around the room before jumping off and letting it fly into the ceiling and the rocket blows a massive hole in it

Dante: WOOH!! Ha ha ha ha!

Dante walks up to the girl who turns around to him and her most defining feature, besides her looks, were her discolored eyes

Dante: Hm. Yo! You lost?

The girl spins her bike around and revs it before driving at Dante and jumping it up over him and dives through the hole in the ceiling

Dante:*scoffs* Heh. This just keeps getting better and better!

Dante shakes his head before walking into the tower and finally begins his trek to the top of the tower to find his brother and kick the ever loving shit out of him.

On a high point on the tower, Dominic looks at the city below while Arkham reads his book. He opens his eyes and speaks to his associate

Dominic: Looks like we have an uninvited guest.

Arkham: Is that so?

Dominic: A human, a woman.

Arkham closes his book and stands up from his seat

Arkham: I'm afraid I must ask the uninvited guest to leave. That is what you want. Actually, I happen to be acquainted with that woman.

He turns to leave and says one last thing before he disappears from earshot

Arkham: A storm is approaching...

Dominic turns his head and watches Arkham leave and sighs, taking out his scroll and kneeling down and looks at the picture of team ODDS before their first mission. His finger goes over the delete button but he struggle to do it and his arm begins to shake but he ultimately doesn't do it and puts the scroll back inside of his coat

Dominic:*sigh* The time will come for me to leave them all behind...

He leans over the edge and looks down to the bottom of the tower where Yang was making her way up the tower. Dominic knew of her intrusion but didn't say anything to Arkham as he didn't care about the woman but he did care for Yang even after she exclaimed that she hated him.

Dominic: Why are you here? No matter. Either you'll make it up here, or you'll die.

The remains of team ODDS and RWBY all arrive at the entrance of the tower

Blake: This is it. No turning back now.

Obito: Why would we? Our friends are in there facing who knows what. And we're gonna rescue them.

Weiss: If I die, I'm haunting you all.

Sapphire: Ha! Alright let's go.

Obito tries to push open the door but it wouldn't budge and he tries again only for the same results

Sapphire: Obito I know you're young but come on dude! Your girlfriend is right here watching this!

Obito:*strained* Maybe...if I...had some..help!

Sapphire: Alright alright I'll do it.

Sapphire pushes the door and it moves a little bit but stops as the ice blocking it was too thick

Sapphire: Hm. Maybe we could climb?

Weiss: Uh, excuse me! Two of us are wearing skirts!

Sapphire: I don't see the problem here.

Weiss: Sapphire!!

Sapphire: Ahh fine! Stand back.

Sapphire spits on his hands and rubs them together. He pulls his fist back and punches the door with the full force of his strength and blows the door down with the punch, shocking everyone

Obito: You sure you're not half demon too?

Sapphire: I'm half something. Come on. Maybe we can find Dante before he reaches Dom.

Ruby: ....

Obito: You okay?

Ruby: I..I don't know what I'll say if I do see him again.

Obito: Well..this is a big tower. So you'll have time to think of something. Hehe~

Ruby looks at Obito and kisses him on the cheek and thanks him for being there with her. The group walks in and it was a free for all to Dominic. The brother, the girl determined to get answers, and the team of friends wanting to bring their friends home. Who will make it first?

Dante: AAAARGH!! I HATE BACKTRACKING!!!!
