Vulcan Raven sprayed a hailstorm of bullets at the trio who scattered around the room so they could give Raven more targets to watch out for

Raven:Well met. Few have ever escaped my cannon. But know this: Hiding will not save you from me.

Raven uses the ravens in the storage room as pseudo security cameras to help him see where each of the boys was hiding at

Dante jumps out from behind a crate and fires Ebony and Ivory at Raven who turns around to shoot him but he was instead hit by the bullets that were shot at him

Raven: GAAUGH!!

Dante: You know, you're pretty stupid for not wearing any body armor!

Raven growls and fires his canon at Dante who was already gone by the time he pressed on the trigger of his gun

Sapphire: Probably because they don't have a size that could fit his big ass!

Raven turns around to where he heard Sapphires voice and unloaded hundreds of rounds in his direction, only to hit nothing

Raven: Grh! Fighting with your words and not your heart! The way children fight!

Obito: What do you expect from a bunch of teenagers!

Raven fires his canon upwards and catches Obito above him and fills him full of holes and laughs as he juggles him in the air until Obito explodes in a cloud of smoke which makes Raven stop firing. Something lands in front of him with a loud thud, only it wasn't Obito

Raven: Hm? A sack of rice? How?

Obito: A shinobi never reveals his secrets~

Raven: Ah, now I see. You've been trained in the art of ninjitsu. And what was that little trick you just did? Substituting? Yes. I see. You moved at high speeds and replaced yourself with a clone of yourself using an object. Clever.

Dante runs out again but this time, Raven was ready for him. He turns around and shoots at Dante while Dante shot back, their bullets colliding with each other as Dante ran back into cover

Sapphire: Are you gonna shoot or bore us to death?

Raven turns and shoots in the direction of where Sapphire's voice was coming from, destroying multiple storage containers in a volley of bullets. An explosion goes off and Obito goes flying out in the open and he tries to pick himself up off the floor but he was shell shocked from the explosion

Raven: Heh!

Ravens mini gun spins up and he pulls the trigger and sprays bullets in Obito's direction. The young shinobi watches as his life was about to be ended when a wall of ice rose up in front of him

Sapphire: What are you waiting for?! Move!!

Obito gets up and sprints over to Sapphire as the wall of ice cracked and then shattered from Raven spraying it with a near endless supply of bullets

Raven: Hahahaha!! I've long waited to test your mettle children! But this is pathetic! Hiding and waiting for one to attack so another could get me while my back is turned. Ha!

Dante: You want mettle?

Dante runs out of cover and fires at Raven while running in and out of cover. Sapphire runs above Raven on the storage containers and throws ice shuriken at the large ammo tank on Ravens back

Raven: Rh! I see you!

Raven swung his mini gun around like a hose as he sprayed hot lead into Sapphires direction. The distraction was enough for Obito to jump up to Raven and start attacking him with the kunai in his hand

Obito: We'll show you mettle!!

Raven: Argh!! You little brat!

Raven grabs Obito by the throat and easily lifts him up with one arm

Raven: Was that your entire plan boy?

Obito: N-no...this was!

Obito holds out the kunai he was using and drops it, revealing an explosive tag connected to it and Ravens eyes went wider as the red tag began to light up causing him to drop Obito

Raven: What!!

Sapphire pulled Obito away using a set of strings that were attached to his back and Obito stuck his tongue out at Raven as the explosive went off in Ravens face

Raven: GAAAAHH!!

Raven pants as he pushes through the smoke, burns and scratches covered his body but he was still in the fight. He turns a corner and runs into Dante holding Ebony at his torso. Dante clicks a button on the black gun and the engravings on it began to glow as Dante gave one final word to Raven:

Dante: Bang..!

Dante shot four large holes into Ravens torso and pushed him up against a container. The large shaman sat there on the floor defeated, bleeding out from the large holes in his body that you could see through if you looked at them

Raven: N...no.

Sapphire: Accept it. You lost.

Raven:*cough* So I have...w-well done...you are indeed...worthy adversaries. But...you are still nothing more than pawns in Atlas' schemes! Blindly following your orders and not..*cough* questioning why you were sent here..!

Obito: We know why. We just don't care. If the four of us can save the world by stopping you, then we don't care if Atlas chose us because we're expendable. Metal Gear won't go online today. We'll make sure of it!

Raven: A-ah...a noble heart...good..you must keep that promise...if you are to survive in this harsh world. Take this...

Raven weakly hands Obito a keycard which he takes and puts into his pocket

Raven: It is time...to meet my..quorum..farewell..

Raven takes his last breath as the ravens in the room swarm him and eat his corpse. Obito closes his eyes and turns away while Sapphire and Dante watch as the ravens leave only his mini gun behind. Not even a drop of blood was left of Raven. He was truly gone.

Dante: Well I guess they won't be hungry for a long time. Eh?

Sapphire: Dante...no.

Dante: What? Come on it was good!

Obito: Just..no.

Dante: What?

Sapphire: He just died Dante. Be better.

Dante: Oh screw you! Dom will find it funny!

Sapphire: I doubt that. Come on, Metal Gear should be just beyond this door. Obito, see if that card works.

Obito: Got it!

Obito swipes the card on the door and it opens and the trio walk further into the base to find and put an end to Metal Gear.

In the main base, Dominic sneaks his was past a guard using a cardboard box as a disguise. He hears a set of boots coming towards him and he stops and waits for the guard to pass by him. Once he hears the footsteps have gone, he continues sneaking through the base. Inside his head he looks like the most badass person on the planet. In reality, he looks like a box with legs sticking out from underneath it

Liquid:*watching on the security monitor*

Ocelot: Boss, what's—?

Liquid: Sh sh sh..

Ocelot: What are you doing?

Liquid: I'm watching him..I want to see where this is going.

The two men watch as guards pass by Dominic completely oblivious to the inconspicuous box just laying on the ground. They watch as Dominic sneaks into a room and shuts the door behind him

Liquid: Astounding. No wonder it was so easy to take this base. The soldiers here are idiots...

Ocelot: Should I alert the troops?

Liquid: No no. Octopus knows what to do. And unlike the rest of you, he has not failed me.

Ocelot walks away frowning as Dominic rummages through a box containing his clothes

Dominic: There's my coat and gloves...wait..oh dammit! They stole my Gameboy! Man...

The door slid open making Dominic go on the defensive but he lowers his guard when Otacon peeks his head out from behind the doorframe

Dominic: Oh it's you. What do you want?

Dominic turns around and starts putting on his clothes

Otacon: I-I wanted to see if you were okay.

Dominic: I'm fine. Why aren't you leaving? You'll be a burden if you stay.

Otacon: Hey I'm trying to help!

Dominic: You wanna help me? Stay out of my way.

Dominic pushes past Otacon and the scrawny scientist speed walks beside him

Otacon: Where are you going?

Dominic: I'm going to find my comrades. After we destroy Metal Gear, we're going home.

Otacon: You found a way to destroy Metal Gear? How?

Dominic: It's the keycard that Sapphire has. I guess he puts it in somewhere and it stops the launch.

Otacon: So they're already there right now?

Dominic: Why all the questions?

Otacon: I'm just making conversation.

Dominic: Hm.

The two make it inside of the tank hangar bay which was empty to Dominic's surprise as he had to sneak in here when he was trying to get his clothes.

Dominic: Wait. I don't like this.

Otacon: Why not?

Dominic: Because it could be a trap. Don't you watch movies or is it just anime?

Otacon: Well if it is a trap, then where is everyone hiding? This room is so open and there's only really one exit. I mean...if I didn't know any better, I'd say you've already sprung the trap~

Dominic smirked and clapped slowly as he begun to walk forward. He the turned around and shook his head at Otacon

Dominic: You know, for a supposed "master of disguise" you sure don't know how to act like the person you're disguised as.

Otacon: What gave it away?

Dominic: Otacon has a twisted ankle. He'd never be able to keep up with me, let alone speed walk.

Otacon: Ah well, one little mistake won't matter. Because you're gonna die here. By my hands~

Otacon takes off his glasses and his face begins to morph as well does his entire body start to change into someone else

Dominic: I take it you're the one they call Decoy Octopus?

Octopus: Yes. Not many could see through my disguises. I even drink some of the blood of those whom I'm masquerading as. But I suppose everyone makes mistakes. Just like how it was a mistake to come here alone!

Dominic: Yes. But what about you? There's no one here. Is this where you saw yourself die?

Octopus laughs and presses a button on a device on his wrist and multiple drones flew in from the open hanger door and spread out around the room. Dominic looked at the drones confused until he saw what they were for as they each created a perfect hologram of Decoy Octopus.

Octopus: I..am Decoy Octopus!! Master of disguise and covert espionage! You will face me and you will die!

Dominic: You're very overconfident in your own abilities. Humph, fool. I suppose I have time to play with you.

The spy grins and presses a button on a device on his wrist and a swarm of flying drones burst into the room and float in front of Octopus who smirks and takes out two handguns as the drones begin to glow and they create multiple holograms of Decoy Octopus

Octopus: There is more than one way to disguise yourself. Remember that when I send you to hell!

Octopus and the holograms run around while shooting at Dominic who backflips over a metal crate. He presses his finger to his ear and calls Snake while the box he was hiding behind was being pelted by bullets

Dominic: Snake! I've ran into Decoy Octopus! He's using hologram technology and I can't tell which one is real!

Snake: Keep your mind calm kid. He's just one man.

Dominic: One man...

Snake: You have greater senses than even a faunus. Use them. Hear his breathing, the smell of the dust coming from his gun. Find him, and eliminate him.

The call ends and Dominic stands up and kicks the heavy metal crate towards Decoy Octopus who shouts and rolls out of the way of the incoming box

Octopus: Rh! Cheap tricks will not stop me boy!

Dominic: That was a distraction fool.

Octopus looks around the room as Dominic's voice echoes through the walls of the maintenance hanger

Dominic: Master of disguise? Ha! I can't believe you actually call yourself that! I mean is your semblance taking on other peoples forms? What? Did the gods take pity when they saw how fugly you were?

Octopus: RRRRRH!! Shut up!

Dominic: Aww did I touch a nerve?

Octopus began shooting at random areas of the room in anger while Dominic continued to berate him from the shadows

Dominic: So do you do anything else but gather info? I mean, Sniper Wolf was a faunus, Mantis was psychic so that speaks for itself, Ocelot is a very good gunslinger as well as he good at torture, Raven was big and could use big guns, what about you? Just one thing? How pathetic. I should just leave you here since death would be better than being a living joke.

Octopus: Shut up!!

Dominic zipped past a hologram and cut right through it with his hand making Octopus jump and his hands begin to shake as he looks around the room for where Dominic was

Dominic: I mean are you good at stealth? Probably not considering you can't find me.

Octopus: Sh-shut the hell up!

Dominic: Hm. I can hear your heartbeat. It's getting faster. It's like a beat I can dance to. Ba bum ba bum ba bum ba bum ba bum!

Dominic decapitates a hologram behind Octopus who tries shooting him but the half breed was too fast for the man to hit

Octopus: F-fall in! Form a circle!

The holograms circle around Decoy Octopus and guard him while he pants, waiting for Dominic to attack

Octopus: Where are you? Come on! Show yourself!!

Dominic: Okay.

Octopus screams and turns around into a punch to the gut from Dominic that sends him flying into a wall of metal crates that fall on top of him, killing the fourth member of FOXHOUND

Dominic: This wasn't even a fight. It was a waste of my time.

The holograms glitch and then the drones creating them deactivate and fall to the ground. Dominic shrugs and walks out of the tank hanger and makes his way back to the underground maintenance bay to help the rest of his team stop Metal Gear Rex once and for all

Team ODDS, or what was there, walks into a large hanger and they stop and gaze in awe at Metal Gear Rex. Even though Mantis already revealed it to them, it was still a sight to behold

Dante: Damn...

Sapphire: Otacon makes one hell of a doomsday weapon.

Obito: Guys!

Obito points up at a room overlooking Metal Gear and they spot Liquid and Ocelot talking to each other inside of it

Obito: We should get in closer to listen to what they're saying.

Sapphire: Good idea. Dante you stay down here.

Dante: What why?

Sapphire: Because your boots aren't exactly designed for sneaking dumbass. Also your sword jingles like a set of keys all the damn time.

Dante: Fine fine I'll wait here. Tch. Asshole.

Sapphire: Let's just go Obito.

The two boys sneak up towards the control room and lean in to listen to the last two remaining members of FOXHOUND converse with one another

Ocelot: I've entered the codes inside. We can launch at any time boss.

Liquid: Excellent. Once our little demonstration is over, we'll offer Metal Gear prototypes to the White Fang. In the end, every kingdom in the world will be forced to give us everything that we need.

Ocelot: We already have the blood, now all we need is one billion Lien.

Liquid: I'm also asking for Big Boss's DNA in our demands. If we can splice his soldier genes with that of our little half breed. We can create the perfect super soldiers!

Ocelot: Hm, I like it. In the end, we win.

Liquid: They'll give into our demands. We'll give them one hour before we launch.

Liquid and Ocelot leave the room which allows Obito and Sapphire to walk in. They call Dante and tell him to join them upstairs while Sapphire calls Otacon

Sapphire: Otacon. We're here. Do you have any information about how to use the card key?

Dante: Uh, we got a problem. There's three slots here. And if we have to flip it twice...where the hell does the third slot go to?

Sapphire: Any ideas?

Otacon: You're not gonna believe this, but the card key you have is made of a shape memory alloy, a material that changes shape at different temperatures. You'll have to insert it twice for the two ports on hot, then again on cold, then the final one once with it at normal room temperature and the flip it over and insert it again. That should stop the launch.

Sapphire: So it's technically three keys in one? Clever.

Obito: But how are we gonna make it change temperature quickly?

Dante: Well...Sapphire uses ice...and you use fire. It's kinda right there in front of you.

Obito: Oh. Y-yeah that makes sense.

Sapphire nods and blows a cold mist on the card and it changes shape and color to a deep blue and he inserts the card. The computer beeps and the screen says that it had accepted the first code and was waiting for the second one. Obito takes the card and his hand begins to glow and the card changes shape and color again to a crimson red color. He then inserts it and the computer was waiting for the final code to be inserted.

Dante: Okay. One more time and we save the world boys!

Dante inserts the card and pulls it out, flipping it over. Sapphire was getting a call from Winter but since they were so far underground, their connection was being broken up

Sapphire: Winter? Winter what's wrong?

Winter: Sa-zzz-don't! Y-zzz-Metal-zzz-code!

Sapphire: Say that again Winter? What code?

Winter: You're-zzzz- Metal Gear!!

Dante inserts the card again and text displays on the computer screen

PAL CODE NUMBER THREE CONFIRMED. PAL CODE ENTRY COMPLETE....DETONATION CODE ACTIVATED

Dante: What?!

Sapphire turns and sees the text on the screen and his heart sank all the way to his feet at what he and his team had just unknowingly done

Sapphire: Oh no....

Obito: Dante stop it from launching!

Dante: I don't know how!!

Obito: Punch it! Shoot it! Do anything!!

Dante: Stand back!!

Dante pulls Rebellion off his back and slams it down on the computer, stopping the alarm coming from it

Dante: I think it worked..

Sapphire: No...it didn't.

The speaker inside of the room turns on and the sound of laughter came from it

Liquid: Ahahaha!! Oh that was all too easy! Thank you so much boys! You've really done us a big favor! Nothing can stop Metal Gear now!

All three of the boys run out of the room as the whole base began to shake as Metal Gear was online and ready to launch. They make it into a catwalk where they see Liquid in the pilots seat of Metal Gear Rex

Sapphire: Liquid!

Liquid: Ah! Greetings and farewell, children! This game is over! Now bow down before the awesome might of Metal Gear Rex!

Dante points Ivory at Liquid and curses at him for tricking them into activating the launch sequence for the missiles and activating Metal Gear

Dante: Liquid! You son of a—

Liquid: For shame Dante! I can't believe you'd point a gun at your own brother!

Dante: We're not brothers! Just who the hell are you?!

Liquid: Ah but we are brothers in the sense that your brother has shared history with my father. He saw a son in him while I was the one who could never replace him! I hated him all my life! And now I will show father that I am superior!

Sapphire: But why this! Why use the White Fang?

Liquid: Ah you see, the White Fang has the resources and the man power to make my dreams come into reality. All I have to do is show them what Metal Gear can do and they'll give me whatever I want. You know, you look just like him. But that's to be expected from twins. You were once the same person but fate decided to split you into two beings. But you're not ordinary twins aren't you? You're linked not only by blood, but by the power of the devil himself!! I guess you could say that's another connection you and your brother have with me. We're all linked by cursed genes!

Dante: What?

Obito: What are you talking about?

Liquid: Les Enfants Terribles! The Terrible Children. That's what the project was called. Years ago, a group of scientists were charged with creating the most powerful soldier who ever lived. But to do so, they needed a genetic master mold to work from. A foundation of perfection...my father! Big Boss!

Sapphire: But then that means that you're a clone!

Liquid: Yes. A human with no origin! I may have his DNA but I don't have his love! With the blood of Dominic flowing through me, I'll show him how much I love him!

Dante: That's why you wanted him...for some sick jealousy! You were jealous of Dominic for being the one your dad loved as a son instead of you!

Liquid: Are you kidding? I hated my father! Just as much as I hate you and especially your brother! He saw me as this flawed being with his recessive genes! While he saw your brother as the dominant one! He wasn't even his son!! Everything he ever did was in search for your brother, the only reason I exist at all was so I could be a replacement! Can you comprehend what it's like to know that you're genetic garbage since the day you were born? That you'll never be enough for the one you look up to? Well..that won't matter anymore! Once I claim his body, I'll show Big Boss what his son has become! Your brother will grant me the key to my fathers heart while I tear it out of his chest!! I'll never be inferior to a damned freak like your brother!!

Sapphire: You're insane! All this for some petty rivalry with a person you've never even met!!

Liquid: Yes! And since you're here, I guess I'll have a test drive with this great machine until he gets here! Kneel down and sacrifice yourselves to this historic weapon! Consider it an honor...a gift from your brother Dante!!

Liquid crashes Metal Gear into the catwalk they were on, causing the trio to fall to the hard ground below.

The trio groaned on the floor as Liquid laughed and watched them pick themselves up off the floor

Obito: M-my arm...I think it's broken..

Liquid: DIE!!

The mini gun on the front of Metal Gear spun up and fired hundreds of rounds at the group of boys. They scatter around the room and began to fight Metal Gear in a three on one. Dante shoots at the behemoth while Sapphire flings ice arrows at it. Obito sat behind a metal container and watched as his teammates fought Metal Gear while he couldn't do anything to help since his arm was broken

It was like a war zone inside of the hanger with missiles and bullets being fired and every time Metal Gear took a hit, it roared like a wild beast

Sapphire: That thing can roar?!

Dante: What the eff Otacon! Why did you make something so cool be so deadly!

A kunai hits Metal Gear and bounces off of its metal chassis but it begins to glow and it explodes right where Liquid was and he screams along with Metal Gear

Obito walks in between his teammates with his arm in a sling while his other held another kunai

Obito: I still got one arm left! Come on guys! If this is where we die, then let's take this guy with us!

Sapphire: I'd rather not die but I'm still gonna fight by your side Obito.

Dante: Me too! Let's take this guy down!

Liquid: DIE!!

Metal Gear walks forward and roars as it fires a large payload of missiles in team ODDS' direction but the trio were fast and dodges the missiles and they counterattack with Sapphire slamming his fist into the ground and a large ice glacier pops out from under Metal Gear and knocks it off balance

Obito throws multiple kunai at Metal Gear which explode and they start pushing it back the nuclear equipped machine

Sapphire: Otacon! Is there a way to stop Metal Gear!

Otacon: Uh...aha! Metal Gear has a radome on the side of it. It's connected to the targeting computers! If you destroy that then Metal Gear will be blind! It won't be able to launch anything! You guys have to hit that thing with everything you've got!

Sapphire: Thanks Otacon!

Otacon: No problem. Now beat that guy!!

Sapphire smiles as he and the rest of team ODDS begin to attack the radome on Metal Gear. Even if they failed, at least they tried.

Obito runs to the side and tosses a kunai at the radome and it explodes on impact with it and the radome begins to spark. A rogue missile hits the floor and sends Obito flying forward in the path of Metal Gear and he looks up as its foot was raise above him

Liquid: Hahaha!!

LIQUID!!!!

From the smoke, Dominic leaps over to Metal Gear and hits the giant mech with a kick that sent it back a few meters away from his teammates

Liquid:*grunts and shakes his head* Rah! There you are! Late as ever I see?

Dante: Haha! You're screwed now Liquid!

Sapphire: Were your clothes really that important?

Dominic: Hey, when you want to save the world, you gotta look good while doing it.

Dominic goes over to Obito and helps him up to his feet. The young Uchiha smiles and extends his fist out for Dominic who looks at his own hand and makes it into a fist and fist bumps Obito, giving him a small smile

Liquid: Sorry to ruin this touching moment, but it's time to die!!

Dominic: Where the Yamato at you son of a bitch!?

Liquid: Your little sword? Well it's right here beside me. And your precious amulet is still around my neck. You want it? COME AND GET IT!!

Metal Gear roars and charges at the team, now back together, they race towards Metal Gear shouting as they each jump in the air and kick Metal Gear in the face. If there was a camera around, that'd be a pretty awesome picture.

Metal Gear pushes the four teens off of it and roars as it fires upon them making them serpentine around the room either dodging or deflecting bullets. Sapphire slides forward and slams both hands on the ground and creates a sheet of ice that Metal Gear steps on and its leg began to be overtaken by ice

Sapphire: Heh~

Liquid: Don't get so cocky!!

Metal Gear frees itself and stomps on the floor, shattering the ice while Liquid laughs triumphantly

Liquid: This isn't one of those frail automatons Atlas is so keen on making! This is the next evolution in warfare!!

Dante puts Ebony and Ivory together and hits the radome with a barrage of bullets that causes it to explode. They all cheer as the machine sparks and moves around until it steadies itself and looks at the teens while Liquid laughs at them yet again

Liquid: Nice try! Now it's my turn!!

More missiles came out of Metal Gear and they all hit the ground sending fire and shockwaves that sent team ODDS flying away. Dominic starts to pick himself off the floor when he looks up and sees Metal Gear about to squash him under its gigantic foot

Dominic: No....

Liquid: DIE!!

Obito: DOMINIC!!!

A shadowy figure appeared in front of Dominic and caught the foot and held it up with its strength alone

Snake: Hurry! Get away!

Dominic rolls out from under the foot and he and team ODDS were in awe at the man holding up Metal Gears foot

Dominic: Snake!

Snake: K-kept you waiting huh?

His voice sounded very familiar to Sapphire but he couldn't remember where. Then it dawned on him, Angelo. The one who helped him at his first confrontation with Vulcan Raven and the landmines

Sapphire: Angelo! It's you!

Snake:*chuckle* A name from long ago. You kids look awful...I guess two days of fighting will do that to you.

Liquid: I'll send you all to hell!!

Metal Gear lifts its foot which gave Snake the chance to jump away before it could crush him. He draws his sword and begun deflecting a barrage of bullets shot from Metal Gear. The four watched this super human take on Metal Gear by himself armed with a sword and two new weapons in his arsenal: a rocket launcher and a strange rifle that he held in his other hand

Snake throws his sword at the radome causing it to start sparking. He then uses the rifle in his other hand and shoots bolts of electric dust at the radome which causes it to explode more and more as Metal Gear roars in what seemed like pain.

Snake: Take cover!

Snake begins to weave hand signs which amazes Obito at how fast he was as he shouted an attack with his body generating electricity

Snake: Lightning Style: Static Shockwave!

Snake shouts and slams his hand on the floor. The metal conducts the electricity and the floor begins to be electrified. Metal Gear was hit by the attack and it seized up as it kept shooting bullets around the room while team ODDS watched from behind a metal crate

Dante: Damn. Can you do that Obito?

Obito: Not with one hand. And even then, I can only do fire style.

Snake lands in between the group and pants as he tosses the rocket launcher to the ground and leans up against the crate

Sapphire: That was a valiant effort but all you did was stun it. What now?

Snake: Dominic...it's time...

Snake puts a hand on Dominic's shoulder and looks at him through his helmet visor

Dominic: What?

Snake: My death is coming close...it's time for you to—

Dominic: I'm not gonna kill you Snake. You can ask me later when this thing is destroyed!

Snake: No...I feel as if my time is coming at an end. And either by your hands or someone else's..I know I'll die happy knowing you were here to witness it.

Dominic: Enough! Who are you? Why the hell do you care so much about me?!

Snake:*slow breathing* I told you...I'm a shadow of the man I once was....I've been on the path of redemption for so long...you'll be on the same path if you continue with your current objective...please...don't do it. It'll only end in pain...and your death.

Obito: What are you talking about?

Snake: It doesn't matter...! You must listen to me Dominic. The only way you'll be at peace is if you tell the truth. Ruby...tell her everything...

Sapphire: Tell her what? What's going on?

Snake: Dominic...tell Ruby and Yang...that you were the one who killed their mother!

The news hit everyone like a truck but it hit Dominic more. He fell back and backed away from Snake shaking in fear. How could he know his most safeguarded secret? Why does he know?

Dominic: N-no..how..? Y-you can't possibly...know..

Dante: Dom...is this true?

Sapphire pushed past Snake and picked up Dominic and slams him against the crate, pushing it back a little

Sapphire: What the hell is this?! Is this true? Did you kill their mom? Answer me! I knew there was something about you I didn't like! Murderer!!

Sapphire felt a hand touch his arm and he sees Snake there shaking his head. Sighing, Sapphire drops Dominic and puts a hand on his head

Snake: It's not his fault. He was just a child when it happened.

Obito: What..what happened?

Snake: It was dark...he was scared...she told him to run...he ran as fast as his legs could take him. And when he heard her screams...he knew it was too late. That's why she never came back to her family. He left her for dead because she told him to. And now you can't stand to look her daughter in the eye! She sees you as her friend but all you see is her mother. You feel like you can never love again for fear that they'll end up dying. Like your mother...like Summer.

Dominic: How do you know all this? What...who are you?

Metal Gear scans the area and sees the five of them behind the container. Liquid shouts and begins firing at them with explosions going off around the base

Snake: It doesn't matter now. We're just about out of time! Here's a final present of Angelo.

Snake bends down and picks up the rocket launcher, handing it over to Dominic

Snake: I'll stop that thing from moving. Please, as my final request. Tell her everything..tell her...that you love her.

Snake kneels down and jumps into the air to face Metal Gear alone

SNAKE!!!

Snake lands in front of Metal Gear and runs to the side while the mech chases him by shooting bullets in his direction. The ninja jumps and flips around the bullets, dodging every single one of them fired at him. He runs up a wall and jumps off it, shooting the radome with the gun at his side

He sprints towards Metal Gear while bullets begin pelting him but his resolve remains strong and he slides under the machine and shoots at the cockpit. Liquid makes Metal Gear lean down forward, trying to kill Snake, but the ninja's reflexes were too much and he jumps back from Metal Gear. Liquid then smirks and presses a button as he raises Metal Gear's head. A light shines from a device directly under the cockpit and it shoots out a white laser beam that passes by Snake and creates a line in the wall

Blood exploded from Snakes arm as it was cut off by the laser. He shouts in pain as he lands on top of a catwalk in front of Metal Gear

Sapphire: Snake!!

Snake panted as his blood poured out from his wound. He look down at the four boys who looked right back at him. His helmet was cracked and they could see parts of his face but they were transfixed on the eye that was looking right at them. A clear blue eye with a single tear going down onto the floor.

Metal Gear walks towards Snake and Obito shouts for him to get out of the way, but Snake shouts and raises his arm to shoot at the mech again but he was instead slammed against the wall behind him. Blood and electricity come out of Snake and his body falls limp

Liquid: In Vacuo, we don't hunt snakes. We hunt Grimm Chimera! Instead of nets, we use napalm missiles!!

Dante: Snake!

Liquid: Are you just gonna sit by an watch him die children? How cruel! Hahaha!!

Snakes hand holding the rifle begins to twitch and he raises his arm up, aiming at the radome. He starts firing until there was no ammo left in the gun, shouting as he did so

Snake: EVEN A GRIMM GOLIATH KNOWS NOT TO CROSS A SNAKES PATH!!

The radome explodes and knocks Snakes sword out of it and it falls to the floor in front of the teens. Metal Gear backs up and Snake falls down onto the catwalk he was on. He drops the rifle in his hand as he starts choking on his own blood.

Liquid: Damn it all! You destroyed the radome! Now I'll have to operate Rex's weapon systems manually! Impressive. You are indeed worthy of the title of Snake. Considering you slithered your way to your doom! But now you're FINISHED!!

The cockpit opens up and Liquid looks at Snake glaring daggers at him

Snake:*coughs* Now! Fire the missile!

Liquid: Can you really do it Dominic? You'll kill him too! But I guess that's your fate! Everyone you love dies because of you!!

Dominic lifts up the rocket launcher and aims it at Liquid. His hands shook as he looked at Liquid but his gaze turns to Snake, bleeding and dying, waiting for death.

Snake: Now...in front of you...I can finally die..

Sapphire: What are you waiting for?! Shoot him!

Dominic: I...I can't!

Dante: What?!

Dominic:*shaking* I can't do it...I can't shoot!

Metal Gear tips forward and knocks Snake to the ground and lifts its leg up and squishes Snake under its massive foot. Half of his body was outside of the mechs foot and Snake shakily looks up at the four teens and smiles at them

Dominic: Snake!! Hold on!

Dominic tosses the launcher to the side and runs to help Snake but Liquid stops him by spraying a barrage of bullets in his path

Snake:*gasp* Dominic. You don't have to lock away your feelings...let them out...let them all out...both of you...you're the last remnants of the Dark Knight Sparda...live...for him...fight...for them...

He points at Sapphire and Obito who were watching with the twins in shock

Snake: I hope that...ah...my words could change your mind...and...make you see the light....children...farewell....

Snakes head falls down and his body was crushed into red past by Metal Gears foot

Dominic: SNAAAAAAKE!!!

Liquid: Foolish man! He begged for death!

Metal Gear leaped upwards and roared in triumph. Liquid then makes the machine turn around to look at team ODDS with a big grin on his face

Liquid: You see? You can't protect anyone! Not even yourself!

Dominic knelt down and picks up Snakes sword. He looks at himself in the reflection of the blade and the image of Snake appears beside him. Closing his eyes, he stabs the sword in the ground as his team stands beside him.

Obito:*wiping his tears* He...he sacrificed himself so that we could finish this.

Sapphire: We're not gonna let his death be in vain.

Dante: Yeah. I'm just about tired of seeing good people lose their lives!

Dominic: I'm gonna keep going...I'm gonna keep living. I'm gonna tell her everything...for you Snake.

Dominic summons a sword to his hand and he swings it around and gets in a dueling stance with Dante and Sapphire doing the same with their weapons.

Obito takes his arm out of the sling and clenched his hand into a a fist as he opens his eyes and looks at Liquid who gasped at what he was seeing in Obito's eyes

Liquid: So that's why you were put with these freaks. You're a freak yourself! I didn't think why but now it's dawned on me, you're an Uchiha! From a cursed bloodline! It's prominent in those eyes of yours! A whole team of freaks!

Obito was confused until he looked at his hands and was shocked that he could see the aura around his body and his own teammates bodies. This new sensation was strange. But not only that, he could see. He could see clearer than even in daylight.

Obito: What's...happening to me?

Liquid: Ahahaha! You don't know? Well, it's not use revealing anything to dead men! Die!

Team ODDS grit their teeth and run at Liquid and Metal Gear in an attempt to finally end the threat of Metal Gear and to avenge Snake.

Obito: Hailstorm!!

Dante and Sapphire jump into the air and the two spun over Metal Gear as they rained bullets and ice arrows on top of the machine and landed behind it with both of them firing a combined ice bullet at the back of Metal Gear

Obito: Hellnado!!

Obito blows out a torrent of flames forward as Dominic spun around and created a cyclone of fire and throws it at Metal Gear causing Liquid to scream as the flames touched his skin

Obito: Roundtrip!

Dominic and Dante both threw their swords and they spun around Metal Gear, slicing it as they traveled up it until the two swords met and bounced off of each other and landed in their wielders hands

Obito: Hidden Wraith!

Sapphire blows out a mist that covers the entire arena, blinding Liquid as since the radome was destroyed, he couldn't see where the boys were

Liquid: Damn! Where did you go?

A shadow darts out from the mist and slices at Rex's leg making it recoil in pain. Another shadow comes out and slices at Rex's other leg, causing the leg to explode

Liquid: Gaah!

Obito and Sapphire jump out in front of Metal Gear and Liquid watches in awe as Sapphire opens his arms and creates six shards of ice while Obito holds a kunai in between each of his fingers. The two teammates launch their attacks at Metal Gear and hit it.

Metal Gear roars one more time as it sparks and catches fire. It tries to keep itself on balance but it couldn't as it began to fall apart due to Obito and Sapphire's combined attack

Liquid shouts as he tries to save Metal Gear but it was too late as everything began failing, servos, gyroscopes, the cup holders

Liquid: Damn!!

He spots team ODDS standing there and sees Dominic aiming the missile launcher at him and he shouts and rushes at them in a last ditch effort to take them with him

Liquid: I'll crush you into dust!

Liquid has Metal Gear run at them but once it gets close enough that Liquid was mere inches from the barrel of the launcher, it stops. Dominic puts down the launcher and looks Liquid in the eyes as Metal Gear explodes, sending team ODDS flying back into the wall knocking everyone out. The last thing they saw was Liquid walking towards them slowly with Yamato at his side and Dominic's amulet around his neck

Some time passes and Dominic opens his eyes and sees Liquid with his back turned

Liquid: Sleeping late I see?

Dominic: Why are you still alive? And why the hell is my damn vest off again?! Seriously! Do you people know how expensive my outfit is?

Liquid: Heh, I won't die. As long as you still live.

Dominic: Well it's too bad, cause your little revolution is over.

Liquid: Just because you and your friends destroyed Metal Gear, doesn't mean I'm done fighting.

Dominic: Fighting? I'm not gonna fight you over some petty jealousy. I just want my stuff back and to go home! My job here is done! That's that.

Liquid smirks and points behind him to Meryl who he had dragged to their final battle as another spectator

Dominic: Her. Is she still alive?

Liquid: I'm not sure. She was alive a few hours ago. Poor girl was so worried about you and your friends.

Dominic: Let her go, Liquid!

Liquid: As soon as we've finished our business. We're almost out of time.

Dominic: What are you talking about?

Liquid: Ha! How do you think Atlas will cover up this debacle?

Dominic: What?

Liquid begins laughing at Dominic's unawareness towards the situation he and the rest of his team were in

Liquid: Heh...I forget how far out of the loop you and your friends are. The point is, this facility will be blown off the face of Remnant. As far as the rest of the world is concerned, we will never have existed.

Liquid cracked his knuckles and stretched his neck out

Dominic: You really think you can take me on? Your sedatives wore off hours ago. I'm back to full strength Liquid.

Liquid: Ahaha..! Don't you think I planned for our final battle dear brother?

Liquid pulls out multiple needles filled with Dominic's blood that he injects into himself. Screams filled the room as Liquid held his head as his hair turned fully white and he laughs as he had finally gotten what he had wanted

Liquid: Now we are truly brothers!! Just me and you, two devils fighting for our ideals! But who's resolve is the strongest?

Dominic gets into a combat stance and Liquid gets in the same one. Both trained under Big Boss himself. Now to see who is the true heir to his legacy and who will make it out of this alive

Liquid smirks and flips over to Meryl. He gently caresses her face as Dominic watches him

Liquid: She'll make a beautiful sacrifice for our final battle.

Liquid turns around and pulls out a device from his back

Liquid: Do you see this? This will be our time limit for our final battle. When death comes for this girl, this nuclear module will disappear from this world as well. If you win, you might still be able to save her. You could enjoy a brief moment of love together before the inevitable happens.

Dominic: Sorry, but my heart belongs to another. But I won't let another innocent soul cross over to the afterlife because of me. Not again. Not ever again!

Liquid smirks and activates the timer and tosses it over to Meryl. He then leaps into the air with Yamato held above him and he slams it downward at Dominic. Dominic backflips away and the blade misses him entirely but Liquid just looks at him and laughs

Liquid: Oh what fun! If this is what you feel like every second of every day, then I must say I am addicted already! Have at you you snake!

The two warriors run at each other and begin to do battle with one another. Liquid makes the first move by swinging Yamato outwards making Dominic stop himself and lean back as the blade was mere centimeters from cutting him

Liquid smirks and starts swinging Yamato left and right trying to hit Dominic but the half demon was a master when it came to sword combat and he jumps over Liquid and lands behind him

Dominic: Come on!

Liquid sheathes Yamato which makes Dominic look at him in shock and he rolls out of the way of a Judgment Cut that came his was. Dominic backflipped away from the attack and shouts as his arm coursed with energy and he flings a wave of dark blue energy at Liquid who cuts it in half with the Yamato.

Liquid: Please do try harder next time Dominic. You're almost out of time!

Liquid began to glow and his speed increased as he dashed towards Dominic and went to cut Dominic in half but he caught his sword and the two try to overpower the other

Dominic kicks Liquid away from him and he fell off Metal Gear but catches the edge before he could fall to his death. He laughs and jumps up to the top of Metal Gear Rex and smirks jovially at Dominic who tosses Yamato to the side and points at Liquid

Dominic: That's mine..

Looking down, Liquid sees the amulet around his neck and chuckles

Liquid: Come and get it then!

The two engage in hand to hand combat. The clock begins to reach its end as the two punch each other in the face making each other back up as they pant in exhaustion

Dominic charges in with a punch to Liquids shoulder who follows up with a head butt. Dominic then punches Liquid in the jaw making him spin but the older man uses that to his advantage and turns it into a spin kick and he goes in for a swing from his left arm but it was blocked and Dominic socks Liquid in the face

Both fighters back away from each other and go in for a spin kick that has their legs collide with each other. They then hit each other simultaneously a few more times until they back away from each other with blood dripping from their mouths and noses

Liquid smirks and mocks Dominic for losing an eye by covering his own which pisses Dominic off and he went in for a strong haymaker but Liquid ducks under it and digs his fist into Dominic's chest making him spit out blood

Dominic grabs Liquid by his long hair and slams his head into his multiple times, dazing the elite soldier

The two back away from each other again and they raise their fists up high as they begin to gather energy into their hands. They then run at each other and shout as their fists collide with the others face and the impact creates a shockwave that shook the broken body of Metal Gear Rex

Dominic pushes his hand forward and grabs his amulet around Liquids neck. He pulls him down and looks Liquid in the eyes as he reels his other fist back

Dominic: This is mine...

Dominic uppercuts Liquid, taking his amulet back from him and the original son of Sparda watches as Liquid begins to fall off of Metal Gear Rex

Liquid: You..damn....SNAAAAAAAAKE!!!

Liquid shouts as he falls on a metal spike protruding out of the ground

Liquid: GAAAUGH!!

Dominic looks down at Liquid who shakily reaches out to him with a tear falling down his face as his blood coats the spike

Liquid: B...brother..?

Liquid goes limp, signaling the end of the fight and dubbing Dominic the victor. Dominic falls to his knees and pants, looking at the amulet in his hands. He puts his heirloom around his neck again and goes to wake up his teammates

Dominic: Hey...hey...wake up!

Dominic slaps Dante awake and he does the rest to his team but was met with a fist to the nose by Sapphire who said he was having a good dream

Dante: Where's Liquid?

Dominic: Dead. I won.

Meryl began to stir awake and the teens crowd around her as she opens her eyes and the first thing she sees were the four boys who unknown to her, had just saved the world

Sapphire: Are you okay?

Meryl: "Am I okay"? Is that all you got to say to me?

Sapphire : Hm, same smart mouth. She's fine.

Meryl: Where's Liquid?

Dante: Dead. Dom beat his ass.

Dominic:*nods at Meryl*

Meryl: Why are you shirtless?

Dominic:*blushes* Stop looking! I'm gonna go get my clothes..again.

Dominic jumps off of Metal Gear and picks up his coat and vest off the floor and he dresses himself as the rest of his team and Meryl walk up to him

Obito: So...what now?

Sapphire: Otacon. Is there a way out of here?

Otacon: A way out? Yeah you could use the loading tunnel to take you all to the surface. Oh but what's the point? Isn't Atlas gonna nuke the island anyways?

Sapphire: Probably. But we didn't come all this way just to give up. What about you? Are you out?

Otacon: Yeah I made it out the base safely. And don't worry, I opened the security doors for you. So you should have a clear shot out.

Sapphire: You're the best Otacon.

Otacon: We can take a car back to the city and maybe call for help.

Sapphire: Once we reach the surface, I'll contact Winter and tell her the good news.

Otacon: Okay. Good luck!

Team ODDS grab their weapons and run down the hallway and make it to a garage where multiple cars were parked

Meryl: I'll start the car. You guys keep an eye out.

Dante: Let me do it.

Dante pops open the plastic covering where the key slot is and he began fiddling with a set of wires

Meryl: Hey you're pretty good.

Dante: I've had to do this sort of thing once or twice.

Dante taps two wires together and they spark once they meet with each other. The car starts and Dante laughs as he shuts the door and leans out the side

Dante: Hop in ladies! We're going home!

Everyone piles into the vehicle and Dante drives off

Back inside the hanger, Liquids body hangs from the spike. His fist clenches up as his body begins to convulse as he starts to pull himself off the spike

They soon make it outside and Sapphire immediately calls up Winter to tell her the good news

Sapphire: Winter! Winter! Call of the strike! Metal Gear is destroyed!

Winter: Sapphire! I thought I'd never hear your voice again! Oh thank the gods you're alright!

Dante: Hey we're okay too! No love for us?

Dominic: Dante shut the hell up.

Obito: Hahaha!

Otacon arrives in a truck and honks the horn twice before getting out and waving at the group

Sapphire: Listen, when we get back, how about a nice dinner? Just the two of us? Nothing romantic just for old times sake. What do you say?

Winter: Wh—how dare...I can't...you..

Sapphire: I'll pick you up at eight cupcake.

Winter: You..you little....grrh! How do I keep falling for this?!

Sapphire: Haha!

Obito: You okay there Meryl?

Meryl: Yeah. Just a little shaken up is all.

A thud alerted the group and they saw that Dominic was on the floor with Liquid holding him at gunpoint while he held his bleeding chest

Liquid: You...snakes! This isn't over! It will never be over—HNMRGH!!

Liquid gasps as his heart began to beat faster and faster until it begun to slow down as his hair turned from white back to blonde and he looks at the group while his arm goes limp

Liquid: M-my heart...It can't be...I'm the last FOX to....DIE!

Liquid falls to his knees and collapses on the floor. Sapphire and Dante help Dominic up and everyone looks at Liquid. The last of FOXHOUND was finally dead. Now the group can-

Liquid: HREGH!!

Liquid grunts and reaches up towards Dominic, trying to grab him but he and everyone else backs away from Liquid

The dying man picks himself up from the ground and he looks at Dominic who stared right back at him. The air became still as the two stared each other down until Liquid gave in to the cold embrace of death and collapsed onto the floor

Sapphire: Winter. It's over...*sigh* it's finally over.

Winter: I've already alerted the jets to cease the bombing run. You're all coming home.

Sapphire: Thanks.

Winter: And about that dinner, it better be candle lit.

Sapphire: I'll see what I can do. Later Ice Queen.

Meryl: So, where to now?

Obito: We go home and we keep living for the ones we love. And..for those that we lost.

Dante: What was up with your eyes back there Obito? They were red with weird dots around them.

Obito: I don't know. Liquid sure knew a lot about them.

Otacon: Well when we get to safety, I could take a look at them.

In the distance, an explosion went off which catches everyone's attention

Dante: Looks like that'll have to wait.

Sapphire: Come on! Let's move out!

Dante: I'll drive!

Everyone gets inside of the truck and Dante floors the gas and the truck speeds off onto the next mission for team ODDS. It's never a dull moment for those boys.

Back at the exit of the underground tunnel where Liquid fell, a figure walked up to Liquid and looked down at his corpse

???: Hmph! Fool. I told you that you couldn't handle his blood. And yet you chose to disobey me. Worthless human.

They kick the dead Liquid in the face and looks back at the tunnel and grins

???: That little toy you had back there was impressive. I think I'll take it~ Thank you Eli. Thank you, for giving me a chance to take back my boy toy~

The figure walks into the darkness of the tunnel and inside of the darkness, echoed the blood curdling roar of Metal Gear Rex

The Virtuous Mission Arc has ended. Now begins the Betrayal Arc. Stay tuned.
