Inside the elevator, Team ODDS stands together silently after having a minor "problem" concerning their teammate not sharing his snacks with them

Dominic: I—

ODS: Shut up!

Dominic:*looks down*

The doors to the elevator open once they reach the first floor of the basement and they all sneak out and make their way towards the women's restroom, dodging guards and even killing a few on their way inside.

Obito: This isn't right. This is form women only! We're not women!

Dante: Well maybe you should go in first because you're fucking acting like one.

Sapphire: Dante!

Dante: Sorry sorry! I'm just...I'm really hungry.

The team looks at Dominic with side glares and walk inside the women's restroom. They see that no one was inside and begin searching each stall until Sapphire finds one with a guard's uniform on the toilet

Sapphire: Hm? She isn't...nude?

???: Freeze!

Obito:*puts his hands up* I SURRENDER!!

The rest of the team look at Obito with varying look of confusion and disappointment. Sapphire turns around and sees Meryl standing in front of him holding him at gunpoint

Sapphire: So you're Meryl?

Meryl: Yeah. You must be Reaper.

Sapphire: It's actually Sapphire. And we're...*sighs* Team ODDS..

Meryl:*tries not to laugh*

Dante: Get the laughs out now lady...

Meryl starts busting up laughing her hysterically at their teams name. This goes on for a few minutes until she was finally done and wiped a tear from her eye

Meryl: Ohh! Oh I needed that. Ah. So, what are you four doing here? You know this is the ladies room right? Unless you all identify as-

Dominic: We came here to find you!

Dante: And I'm sure glad we did!*whistles* Baby yeah!

Meryl blushes and covers herself from Dante's perverted gaze.

Sapphire smacks Dante in the face and apologizes for him as well does the rest of the boys do for Dante's...forwardness

Sapphire: Sorry about him. But I can't deny, you do look very feminine.

Meryl:*scoffs* Is that all you noticed about me? Men.

Dante: No, you've got a great ass too!

Dominic: Dante! Seriously! I will throw you through that fucking wall!!

Obito: Are you hurt?

Meryl: Not yet. I had to get out of that disguise...it smelled like blood. I hated it. Blood gets me all frightened and I tense up whenever I see it.

Sapphire: What's that mark?

Meryl looks to the mark on her arm and sighs softly

Meryl: It's the old White Fang logo. It's just paint though. It's not real. Just like the idea that they'll go back to their old ways of peace...none of this terrorism and war. Back then, they were real heroes making a difference.

Dominic: There are no heroes in this world. They're all dead and we tell stories about them to our children to give them false hope.

Meryl: You're a real buzzkill you know that kid?

Dante: Yeah that's my brother. A real Buzz Killington.

Dominic: Dante..

Dominic smiles and puts his hand on Dante's shoulder

Dante: Yeah?

Dominic throws his brother through the bathroom wall like he said and Dante was on the floor in the men's bathroom groaning with the wind knocked out of him

Meryl begins dressing herself while the rest of the team gives her some privacy

Meryl: So, how did you kids get here? If Winter's leading you then she must be close by right?

Sapphire: She's in a safe house in the city. She's fine but I can tell she's getting tired being cooped up in there.

Meryl: Hehe yeah. She'd be right here with you guys if she had it her way. How is she?

Sapphire: Good. She's a specialist now.

Meryl: Wow? Is she working with Ironwood?

Dominic: It was he who gave us this task. Do you have the card key from Baker?

Meryl: Card key? You mean this?

Meryl reaches into her breasts and pulls out a yellow card and hands it over to Sapphire

Sapphire: This one little card is the key to stopping Metal Gear.

Obito: But how does it work? Do we have to put in a code? Or is it like a disk with two sides? You know, side A and side B? Which one stops the nukes and which one arms them?

Sapphire: Hm. We'll figure that out later.

Sapphire pockets the card

Meryl: Do you know where Metal Gear is?

Sapphire: Some underground maintenance base here.

Meryl: I'll go with you! I know this place better than you do.

Sapphire: No way, you'd just slow us down. Dante can you stop being a pansy and get up?!

Dante gets to his feet and walks out of the men's restroom

Meryl: I won't slow you guys down! I'm getting good at holding this rifle! And if I do slow you down...you can kill me. They won't know how to tell me apart from the rest of the White Fang.

Dominic: No. It'd be a waste of time; which we don't have.

Meryl goes over to the mirrors and looks at herself in it. Her reflection staring back at her

Meryl: I don't like to use makeup. I'm not like those other girls who try and make themselves look pretty for men. I've always wanted to join the military, not just for my people but for myself. My father was killed in action when I was a little girl. I thought that by joining and becoming a soldier, I could understand him better..but I guess I was just lying to myself.

Sapphire: So what's your reason now?

Meryl: Huh?

Sapphire: Your reason for joining.

Meryl: I think...it's to find out who I am. Why I lived like this for so long. I wanna know...

Sapphire: Take a good long look at yourself Meryl.

Meryl looks up at the mirror with Sapphire standing right behind her

Sapphire: You won't see yourself for a long time. Our lives and the lives of countless others, are counting on us to succeed. Don't you have someone at home? Someone who you can remind yourself why you're fighting?

Meryl: N-no....I don't. What about you? Do you all have someone you're fighting for?

Sapphire: Yeah. And I'm taking her out on a big date when I get back home.

Obito: Y-yeah! Me too!

Dante:*groans* Uh huh!

Dominic: ........

Meryl: What about you kid? Do you have someone you're fighting for?

Dominic: I'm not allowed to love someone anymore. They always end up dying..

Dominic exits the bathroom and lean's against a wall with his arms crossed

Sapphire: He's got issues. But I'm not gonna say I don't feel bad for him. He's seen some stuff that many of us hope to never see.

Obito: You don't know the half of it..

Sapphire: Hm. I guess he's told you?

Obito: He told me everything...

Obito walks out of the bathroom and sits beside Dominic on the floor

Sapphire: That gun over there still good to go?

Meryl: Sadly it has no more ammo in it. But I do have this!

Meryl pulls out a long and heavy handgun and practices aiming with it

Meryl: I got it from the armory where you got that fancy ray gun from.

Sapphire: So I got the leftovers then? Dante's got something smaller for a girl like you.

Meryl: Oh so now you treat me like a woman? No way. I'm more used to handling these kinds of guns anyways!

Sapphire:*holds his hands up* Whatever you say lady.

Meryl: If we want to get into the maintenance base, we need to pass through the commanders office here. Going topside is a no go since the storms here are too heavy and to top it all off, the doors to the office are security clearance level five.

Meryl reaches into her bust again and pulls out another card that she hands to Sapphire

Sapphire: Got anything else in those bags of fun?

Meryl: No. Not even a bra.

Dante:*groan* That's so hot...!

Sapphire: I'm gonna tell Blake!

Dante: DON'T!!

Meryl: Hehe~ Alright then, let's go! I'll be point man.

Meryl walks out of the room and walks down the hallway with her gun pointed out in front of her

Meryl: You kids follow me.

Dante: So what? We got a babysitter now?

Dominic: Let's just get this over with...

The group makes their way through the long corridors of the basement with no guards standing in their way. Something very fishy was going on

Dante: Where did everyone go? Bingo?

Sapphire: Keep your eyes peeled. I don't like this one bit..

Meryl reaches behind her and motions for something to be handed to her and Sapphire hands her the card she gave him and she uses it to open a door in front of them.

They all walk into the room on high alert for anything.

An immense pain shoots into Meryl's mind and she holds her head in pain

Meryl: A-ah! Ahn!! Ahh!

Obito: W-what's wrong?!

Dominic: Let me see!

Dominic goes over to Meryl and he turns her head so she can look at him and he could get a better look at what was happening to her

Sapphire: Is she okay?

Dominic: I-I don't...I don't know. I need to do something.

Dominic uses his teeth to take his glove off of his hand and places it on her forehead. He closes his eyes and begins to focus as the rest of his team watches him and Meryl

A sharp pain hits him too, making him let go of Meryl and fall on his back holding his head while Meryl was on her knees panting

Sapphire: Crap! Dominic what's wrong with her!

Dominic: Gh! I don't know...! Something was blocking me from reading her thoughts!

Meryl's cries immediately stop and she rises to her feet as if nothing happened

Meryl: Okay....let's go...

Meryl begins walking like she was drunk and high at the same time

Dante: What did you do to her?

Dominic: I didn't do anything! Something's wrong.

Meryl: This is it....come on Mister Reaper...the commander is waiting.

She opens the door behind her and the boys quickly follow her inside where she stops in the middle of the room and turns around smiling

Sapphire: Meryl! What's wrong?

Meryls puts her hands on Sapphires abdomen and looks at him with a sultry look in her eyes

Meryl: Do you...like me?

Sapphire: What?

Meryl begins to walk around Sapphire touching his body and making him and the others feel very uncomfortable with her actions

Meryl: Do you like me? I'm woman enough for the Reaper of Atlas right? Do you like me Reaper?

Sapphire: Uh...guys? A little help?

Dominic: I've had enough of this.

Dominic goes over to separate Meryl from Sapphire but he was hissed at and she scratches his face with her claws

Dominic: Arh! Damn bitch!!

Obito and Dante hold Dominic back from attacking Meryl while she continues to solicit Sapphire

Meryl: Oh big boy~ Please~ Make love to me~!

Sapphire:*blushing* UH......NO??

Meryl: Why not~? I'm a fast learner~

Meryl begins to kneel down in front of Sapphire and she smiles as she slowly reaches for her gun. Sapphire catches her hand going for her weapon and he does a side flip as she pulls out her gun and points it at the boys

Meryl: What's wrong...? Don't you want me..?

Meryl begins to saunter from side to side as the sounds of breathing were heard from inside their minds

Obito: What's going on??!

Dominic: Mantis! It's him!

Sapphire: The psychic? Blast! How do we get her free without hurting her?

Meryl/Mantis: What's the matter boys....DON'T YOU LIKE GIRLS?!

Dante grabs her arm holding the gun and lifts it up while Obito runs in and kicks her in the face, sending her flying over the front desk and hitting the wall, knocking her out

Mantis: Useless woman!!

Team ODDS turn to the voice and could barely make out the silhouette of Mantis who was floating in the air with his arms outstretched

Sapphire: Optic camouflage? Is that the only trick you've got psycho?!

Mantis:*snarls* You doubt my power?! I will show you four why I am the most powerful practitioner of psychokinesis and telepathy in the world!

Everyone points their weapons at Mantis as he de-cloaks revealing his lanky body and face covered by a gas mask

Mantis: I...AM PSYCHO MANTIS!! And I will enslave your minds! RAAH!!

Mantis shouts and he makes multiple clones of himself that begin flying around the room with himself joining them and hiding inside the swarm

Mantis: Hahaha!! I can read your every thought! Fighting me is useless!!

The team stands back to back with one another as they swipe at any Mantis clones that come at them

Dante: How are we supposed to beat him!!

Sapphire: I'm thinking of something!

The paintings and books in the room begin flying around with the clones and start hitting the boys while they try to come up with a plan to stop Mantis

Dominic: Uh!!

Obito: Argh!

Sapphire: Dammit!

Dante: Fuck!

Mantis laughs and holds up a video game controller

Mantis: I'm going to place this controller on the floor and move it, and you, with my mind! To show you how I am in control of your every thought and action!!

Mantis lays the controller on the ground and shouts as it, and Team ODDS, jerk to the left and to the right. He laughs as he toys with them making them bump into one another

Mantis: What do you think now?! Will you fear my power?!

Mantis shouts and sends out a wave of fire that begins to consume the room and the boys. He laughs as he watches them flail around trying to put out the flames but they kept on blazing on

Dominic looks at his hands and sees that his clothes were not burning and he puts it together that the flames were not real

Dominic: Guys! It's all in our minds! Focus! He can't read us unless we focus!

Mantis: I will obliterate your minds! I will—!

A few gunshots go off and Mantis screams as he falls to the floor dead and dispelling the flames. The team looks back and sees Winter standing at the doorway with a gun in her hand and her sword in the other

Winter: Need a hand boys?

Sapphire: Winter! How'd you get in here?

Winter: Not easily. I got tired of waiting and came here to help you all. And it looks like I was just in time.

Dante: Oh you're a sight for sore eyes Ice Queen!

Winter: It's Winter..now get up, the negotiations have gone south and Liquid is about to launch. Hurry! This way!

Winter goes to the door at the other side of the room and the boys follow her, stopping when Obito goes to check on Meryl

Winter: Obito what are you doing?

Obito: I'm just checking to see if she's fine. She said she's your friend Winter.

Winter: I don't remember her. Now let's go, it may already be too late.

The group runs through a metal corridor and run into Raven standing between them and the entrance to the hangar bay housing Metal Gear.

Raven: Hahaha!

He lifts his arms and a murder of ravens swarm the group and they try to fight them off by shooting and slicing at them but more and more kept coming

Raven: Hahaha! It is futile!

Suddenly the ravens were cut down and their savior jumps in between them an Raven. The ninja from earlier looks back at the group slowly

???: Get out of here. I'll hold off Raven. Destroy Metal Gear!

Raven: Interloper! You will pay for this!

Raven and the ninja begin to fight one another as the group run past them

???: Dominic!

Dominic turns when he hears his name being called out by the ninja

???: Don't do it...this path leads to death.

Dominic: What?

The metal doors close and Dominic thinks a what the ninja said to him. His thoughts were cut short however by Obito dragging him with him and they soon arrive at a large door

Winter: Metal Gear should be just beyond this door.

The doors slowly open and the boys marvel in shock and horror at what they saw

Sapphire: Rex...

Winter: Hurry! The control room is just right here!

The group enters a control room beside Rex and they stand in front of a computer with a small port that could fit a card inside of it

Winter: Come on! We don't have much time. Use the card and stop Rex!

Sapphire: Got it.

Sapphire walks over to the console and was about to insert the keycard into it when he and the others hear a feminine shriek and they turn around seeing Meryl being held hostage by Liquid and Ocelot

Liquid: Please step away from the console. Slowly.

Meryl: Sapphire!

Sapphire: Meryl!!

Ocelot: Move away now or the girl dies!

Liquid: Now, now, Ocelot. No need for the dramatics. We're all friends here, aren't we? And as friends are generous to on another, I'm certain they'll give us the codes without much ado...

Dante points his guns at Liquid and Ocelot making the blonde man chuckle and push his gun further into Meryl's skull

Liquid: Please, think this through before you do something irrevocably stupid.

Winter: Sapphire just give them the codes. We'll have a better opening as rescuing Meryl once they have them.

Sapphire looks at the card in his hands and back at Liquid. His hand clenches the card tightly and he puts it behind him

Sapphire: No.

Winter: What are you doing you fool?!

Liquid: Oh, pity. You should really listen to your superiors boy.

Dante eye's Ocelot. Especially his hands.

Dante:~Two hands....no..~

Dante points Ivory at Winter

Dante: This isn't real!

Winter: What are you doing you fool?!

Dante shoots Winter in the shoulder and she turns into Mantis who shouts about how they could see through his flawless illusion as the room around them turns into the office they were in. They had never left.

Dante: Ocelot has one hand now genius. It was sliced off.

Sapphire: And Winter prefers to be addressed by her rank first too. I guess you didn't catch that when you were in our heads huh?

Mantis: Grr! It's useless! I'm only beginning to show you the limits of my power! You are all mere puppets in my play! Take her for instance!

Mantis motions over to Meryl who was standing and had her gun pointed at her head

Sapphire: Meryl!

Obito: Let her go!!

Mantis: Tch! And now is this any of my fault? You're the ones who failed her. Just another person you've all failed in your misbegotten lives!

Dominic: You'll pay for this with your life!!

Mantis: Oh? And are you fast enough to kill me AND stop the bullet from going through her skull?? Hahahaha!!

Meryl sheds a tear as her hand holding the gun begins to shake

Meryl: I...I can't..!

Sapphire: MERYL! NO!!

Obito throws a throwing star at the gun in Meryl's hand and it reaches it just in time and knocks it out of her hand as the bullet fires and it grazes one of her wolf ears drawing blood down the side of her head

Dante: Nice shot Obito!

Obito: Thanks!

Mantis: Missed! But just barely...you're fast little boy. But she is strong! She fights my influence on her will alone. But it won't be enough!

Mantis makes Meryl take out the knife on her side and point it at her throat

Mantis: Well, Meryl. You know the old saying; If at first you don't succeed...

Meryl: No!

Mantis: Try...

Mantis makes Meryl draw blood from herself causing her to start crying thinking that it was the end for her

Mantis: Try....

Meryl: Please...please god...

Sapphire: Dante just shoot him!!

Mantis: Have you forgotten that I'm psychic! My mind is faster than your reflexes! It's futile! I'm above you all!

Obito: You talk too much..

Obito throws something into the air and it begins to glow brightly, blinding everyone in the room which gives him the opportunity to tackle Meryl to the floor and knock away the knife from her hand and pin her down

Mantis: Gah!! A flash grenade! When?!

Obito: In the armory before we came in here. I saw a few and thought they'd might held us.

Dominic: Excellent work Obito. Now just leave this insect to us.

Mantis:*growl* Let's try a little telekinesis again, shall we?

Mantis makes everything that wasn't nailed down fly around the room and smash into the boys while he laughs at them

Mantis: Your mission ends here!

Dante ducks under a metal cabinet as it flies towards him and hits the wall beside him

Dominic was smacking everything that came towards him with a painting while Sapphire did the same with the sniper on his back

Mantis: Pain...suffering...misery. That's all life is. Nothing more. Can you feel the hate? The revulsion for humanity and all the futility it represents? It burns within me!

Mantis fires a blast of fire at the trio setting them ablaze once again. Mantis laughs as he watches them burn and shouts about how they feel right now being covered by the flames of hatred

Dominic: Cute tricks. Do you do parties?

Sapphire: The same crap won't work on us again!

Dante: You're not very bright for someone with the so called "smartest brain in the world".

Mantis: I see. Only cold blooded killers could embrace the flames of hatred so easily. Your minds are used to the true horrors of the world. See the blood on your hands?

Sapphire looks at his hands and sees they were covered in blood as well were the twins'

Mantis: You're all killers! Be it directly or indirectly, it doesn't matter! Their blood is on your hands forever!

Rotting corpses begin to rise from the ground and start to grab at the boys legs. Dante starts shouting at them but the bullets passed right through them as they made their ways up their bodies

Mantis: How could you bear with the pain?!

Inside the pile of corpses, Dante forces his hand out and shoots Mantis in the chest, making him release them from his illusions

Sapphire: If you have to ask why, then you don't know us at all.

Mantis: H-k-k-k...No!!

Mantis falls to the floor bleeding out while the team sighs in relief that the nightmare was over

Sapphire: I thought you could see the future.

Mantis: But I..wasn't able to see mine...

Dominic: A strong man doesn't need to read the future. He makes his own.

Mantis:*coughs* Perhaps...perhaps so...please...remove my mask..I wish to se you all with my own eyes...

Sapphire removes Mantis' gas mask and Meryl gasps and covers Obito's eyes from seeing Mantis' face. Scars and stitches littler his head and face. Even his mouth was slightly stitched shut.

Mantis: I...denied myself the foresight into my own fate. So, in a way, I must have permitted this to happen.

Dante: You wanted to die?

Mantis: Perhaps..*cough* perhaps I desired it on a subconscious level. You know...we're not so different from each other...our lives are filled with death and pain...we are scared to close our eyes at night...because of their faces...their faces are in our every thought...*cough* It's too much for one soul to bear! I...will use my powers to help you. As a way of thanking you for releasing me..

Dante: It wasn't my intention.

Mantis: N-nevertheless..I will move this bookcase and reveal the hidden door to the path to Metal Gears underground maintenance base.

The book shelf nearby begins to move and it reveals a metal door hiding behind it. Mantis laughs and smiles as a warm feeling grows inside of his chest

Mantis: I don't remember the last time I...used my powers to help someone...it feels.....good..

Mantis takes his last breath and dies on the floor. Redeeming himself with this final act before he passes on. Sapphire places his mask on his chest and puts his hands together on his chest

Sapphire: May you rest in peace Mantis...

Inside another part of the base, Liquid and Ocelot were having an argument as Ocelot was growing tired on waiting for Mantis to get the card from the boys

Liquid: You must really learn patience Ocelot. I'd have hoped your miserable failure at interrogating Baker would have taught you that. Mantis will play those boys like a fiddle and bring the keycard to us like a gift on the holidays~

The doors behind him open and Raven steps into the room to deliver the news of Mantis' death

Raven: No. We must find another way of launching the missiles. Mantis is dead. Those four are mighty warriors.

Liquid: Tch! Those...snakes. Damn them!!*sigh* Very well. Inform Wolf that her mission is a go. I want them taken down.

Ocelot: And if she fails too?

Liquid: They've only gotten this far because I allowed them to. They will not escape.

Obito was patching up Meryl with a bandage that he wraps around her head

Meryl: Thank you. You saved my life. I owe you one.

Obito: It was nothing. Mantis did love to talk.

Dante: You gonna be okay?

Meryl: Y-yeah...

Sapphire: What's wrong?

Meryl:*sniffle* I..was so useless! I had to be saved because I let Mantis take over my mind!

Dominic: Quit whining. It is a mistake you won't let happen again, right? I don't want to be lugging around a corpse while we search for Metal Gear.

Meryl wipes her eyes and stands up. She smiles and nods in agreement with Dominic's harsh but true words

Meryl: Okay. Let's go!

The group walks through the secret doorway and walks down a long corridor until they reach the outside where they hear the howls of dogs

Meryl:*gasps* Did you hear that? It sounded like wolves!

Obito: Wolf dogs. Half breeds. My village uses them as pets and companions on hunting missions. Gotta love them half breeds ey guys?

Dante: Yeah...love em.

Meryl: It should be this way to Metal Gear. I'll take point!

Sapphire: Meryl, wait!

Meryl: Come on Reaper—we're losing time!

Dominic: Stop!

Meryl: Wha—?

Meryl looks down and sees a red laser pointed right at her chest. She freezes in place and the others duck for cover behind a few outstretched concrete blocks

Sapphire: Don't move Meryl. Just stay put!

A gunshot rang out and Meryl was sent flying off her feet and she hits the ground with a hard thud

Sapphire: MERYL!

Meryl: Uggh....kids...I...

Dante: Shhh, Meryl. You need to save your strength. Just keep quiet and lie down.

Dominic peaks his head out and moves back into cover when a bullet hits the concrete block he was hiding behind

Dominic: Dammit! It looks like a lone sniper. We're sitting ducks out here.

Obito: We can just rush them!

Sapphire: Are you crazy? They'll kill Meryl! And she's already loosing a lot of blood!

Meryl:*cough* I guess...you should have let me shoot myself...m-my gun..I think I can reach it.

Dante: Stop moving!!

Meryl: I said...I wouldn't slow you down..

Meryl nearly reaches her gun when it was shot out of her reach by the sniper

Meryl: Leave me...I'll only get you all killed too.

Sapphire: Meryl, stop. We will get you out of this!

Sapphire takes the sniper from his back and sits on the floor. The tensions between them and the sniper were hot. So hot that the snow beneath them could melt.

Dominic: It's probably Sniper Wolf!

Dante: She's probably in the second floor of the comms tower! It's a classic snipers position!

Sapphire: Hang tight Meryl, I'm taking that bitch out.

Sapphire rolls out of cover and shoots directly where Wolf was standing but she ducks behind cover and curses as she stands up and shoots the sniper out of Sapphires hands

Sapphire: Damn!!

Dante: Suppressing fire!!

Dante jumps out and starts spraying bullets in Wolf's general direction. Dominic then bolts out of cover and starts running towards the tower as quickly as he could

Wolf: Running straight at me? Is he suicidal? No matter. I've got him now.

Obito tosses a flash grenade into the air and Dante shoots it making it explode and blind Wolf with it

Wolf: Aah! Damn you! I can't see!!

A bullet shot through Wolfs shoulder and she screams in pain while Meryl laid on the ground with the sniper in her hand

Meryl: Ugh..I still owe you more than that, you bitch!

Dominic hugs the wall of the base of the tower and gives his team a thumbs up

Wolf:*growls* He's at the base of the tower! I don't have a shot!!

Multiple soldiers repelled down from above and landed around Dominic and surrounded him

Atlas Turncoat: Freeze! Drop your weapon!

Dante: NO!

Dominic puts his hands up while a soldier takes his sword form his belt while they held him at gunpoint

Dante: Come on! We have to save him!!

Sapphire tackles Dante back behind cover before he could get himself or Meryl killed

Sapphire: No Dante! I know you want to save him but we can't all get captured! I don't want to do it either, but we have to go!

Obito: What about Meryl!!

Meryl: L-leave me...just go...find Metal Gear..and stop this..

Sapphire nods and drags Dante away as he tries to wrestle himself out of his grip but he watches helplessly as his brother was being taken hostage by Sniper Wolf and the White Fang

Wolf: Liquid will be so pleased we have you boy. Now then, how will you like to die? Or do you want to see that bitch who ruined my hunt die first?

Dominic: I'll kill all of you before you even pull the triggers on your guns.

Wolf huffs and walks in front of Dominic. She caresses his face and digs her claws into his cheek

Wolf: I always kill my prey. Until then, you're all I will think about.

Wolf gasps as the cut she made on Dominic's face healed instantly and there she understood why he wanted Dominic. She smiles and licks the blood from her claws

Wolf: Take him to Liquid.

A White Fang member hit Dominic on the back of the head with the butt of their gun but he just stands there and turns around towards the faunus terrorist

Dominic: .....

He slowly walks towards them, making the other soldiers shake in fear until Dominic collapsed to the floor and slips into unconsciousness

Dominic wakes up in an unknown amount of time later strapped to a machine while Liquid, Ocelot and Wolf look at him

Liquid: Wake up you fool!

Liquid slaps Dominic in the face making him growl and he tries to attack him but the restraints were too tight for him to move

Liquid: You look just like how father described you...brother.

Dominic: What?! We're not..no! You're not my brother!

Liquid: Ah, yes. Not by blood, but by our experience with the same man. Big Boss! Don't you know him?

Dominic: Should I?

Liquid: No. I guess it has been some time since you've seen him. But you should remember..this face.

Liquid turns around and Dominic's heart stopped for a brief moment at Liquid. He didn't pay attention when Ironwood told him and his team about the members of FOXHOUND, but now he wishes he did when he saw who Liquid looked like

Dominic: Snake..

Liquid: No no not Snake. But you and your team seemed to have slithered into my operation like one. Tell me, what should I call you? Little brother? Big brother? I suppose it doesn't matter. What is paramount is that you and I are the last surviving sons of Big Boss. We share th-

Dominic: We share nothing!! We are not brothers!! Why even keep me alive?!

Liquid: For this!

Liquid pulls out a vial of blood and he holds it out like it was a gift from god. Only it wasn't from god.

Dominic: That's my—

Liquid: Yes. This is why I wanted you here! I've heard stories from father about the boy who could shrug off gunshot wounds like they were raindrops! Father always favored you over me, HIS OWN SON!!

Liquid began punching Dominic in the face over and over until he got tired of it and grabbed the vial of blood and put it into a needle that he then uses to inject himself with it. Liquid screams in pain and holds his head as part of his hair change from blonde to white and his body began to emit a dark aura. He starts to laugh maniacally as he feels the surge of power flowing through him

Liquid: I've done it! It is a small amount but look at me now!!

Liquid grabs a scalpel from a tray and slices his arm open only for the cut to heal instantly

Liquid: I'm invincible!! But this is only a small amount. I need more...I need more power. Yes~ HAHAHAHA!!!

Liquids laughter was cut short by a call from his scroll. He picks it up and talks with someone on the other side

Liquid: What is it? Oh? Heh, who cares? We already have everything that we need~

Liquid hangs up the call and crushes the device in his hand

Liquid: We already have you. We just need to find out where your friends are and where you hid the card key. I leave that to you Ocelot. I have...

Liquid goes over to a cooler and opens it revealing bags of Dominic's blood stored inside of it. He grins and walks over to Dominic and sees his amulet and rips it from his neck. Dominic tries to use all his strength to break free and attack Liquid but he felt weak.

Liquid: Don't bother. We've injected you with a constant flow of a strong sedative. Your body burns through impurities like acid. Which I why we need as much blood as we can get.

Liquid puts on Dominic's amulet and shows it off to him, taunting him over it

Liquid: See you soon..brother.

Liquid takes the cooler full of blood and walks out of the room while Wolf walks over to Dominic

Wolf: I gave your little friend the gift of mercy. She's still alive. For now. Until we meet again my young prey~

Wolf exits the room leaving only Ocelot and Dominic alone together

Dominic: Good to see you again Ocelot. You got old.

Ocelot: And I see the years haven't changed that attitude of yours boy! I'll fix that soon enough.

Ocelot goes over to a control console and starts pressing buttons

Ocelot: We're going to play a game. And we'll soon find out if the man is as strong as the devil inside of you. When the pain becomes too great to bear, just beg for mercy and your suffering will end. But if you do, the girl's ls life is mine.

Dominic: Leave her out of this Ocelot!

Ocelot: Then cooperate with us. Or...

Ocelot turns the dial on the control terminal and an electric current runs through Dominic making him scream as his flesh burned. He stops the current and smirks at Dominic panting

Ocelot: How was that? A little wake up call for you. No one is coming to save you. The sooner you realize that, the sooner we get what we both want.

Dominic:*coughs* I'm...gonna...take your head...next...!

Ocelot: Hm. You still have some fight left in you. Let's see how you feel after a little tenderizing~ Again.

Ocelot turns the dial again and watches as Dominic spasms as hundreds of volts of electricity surge through his body. Stopping again, Ocelot let's Dominic take a few seconds to breathe

Ocelot: You're no ordinary human. But even you can break when someone pushes the right..button~

Ocelot begins shocking Dominic again and again laughing as he watches him seize and burn

Dominic: AAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHH!!'

Ocelot stops the torture and he grabs a microphone from the side and turns it on, the entire base turned to the speakers laid about and listen as Ocelot gives a speech

Ocelot: To the rest of the boys who escaped Wolfs grasp, I have a little song I'd like you to hear!

Ocelot resumes the torture and Dominic's screams could be heard throughout the entire base

Dominic: AAAAAAAAAHH!!!

Dante throws a chair at the intercom and tries to run through a door but Sapphire and Obito stop him from trying to get himself captured

Obito: Dante, stop!!

Dante: I'LL KILL HIM!! HE'S DEAD!! I'M GONNA KILL THEM ALL!!

Ocelot stops again and puts the microphone in front of Dominic

Ocelot: What do you have to say to our audience my honored guest? Mercy? Oh it's find if you're shy~ You can just tell me. I won't tattle~

Dominic:*panting* You're all gonna die..

Ocelot: Feh!

Ocelot shocks Dominic again and again. He smiles as he watches the son of Sparda shriek in agony.

Ocelot: Alright..!

Ocelot ends the torture and walks up to Dominic and grabs him by the hair, making him look at him

Ocelot: Say it....

Dominic: M...m..man you're old...

Ocelot growls and smacks Dominic in the face and leaves the room.

Meryl covers her mouth in horror at the monitor in front of her that showed the whole torture session while Wolf guarded her

Wolf: This is all your fault girl. This boy will die because of you!

Meryl: Shut up! You witch!! Leave him alone!!

Wolf: You'll watch him until either he dies or begs for mercy!

Dominic:*groans*

Dominic looks up and sees a figure standing in front of him but his vision was too blurry to make out who it was. He lets out one final exhale before slipping into unconsciousness.
