A few hours after the airship dropped off Team ODDS and Winter, they were lying on top of a large destroyed building overlooking the ruins of a once great city

Sapphire: There it is..

Team ODDS and Winter stare through binoculars at a small island far off from where their safe house was. The island was connected to the mainland by a single bridge

Winter: That is your target. You must find a way to sneak onto that base and eliminate the weapon before the terrorists have a chance to use it.

Dante: Seems simple enough. Alright! Let's boogie!!

Dante goes to jump off the building they were on but his team stops him and pulls him back down

Sapphire: What are you doing you idiot?!

Dante: Uh, starting the mission?

Dominic: Without a plan to get inside??

Dante: The bridge is right there!

Winter:*sigh* Mister Uchiha, please keep your teammate in line..

Obito: Hey I try but he does his own thing.

Sapphire: Look, this is a stealth mission. So we have to find a way to 'sneak' in!

Dominic: I think I have an idea.

Dominic points to the street below to a truck that was parked by the side of the road with a White Fang logo on the side of it

Sapphire: Smart.

Obito: Okay! Team ODDS is on the job!

Winter: Not so fast!

Obito freeze's himself mid sprint as Winter clears her throat

Winter: Children. This mission is dangerous. Not even our best soldiers would be up for this job. Can I, the world, count on your success?

Sapphire: Have I ever failed you Winter?

Winter: Yes.

Dante: HA!!

Winter: Now get ready for your Virtuous Mission.

Team ODDS walks inside the building and start to set up their gear for the perilous fight ahead of them. Winter then starts to ask them all individually the same question "Why did they want to become Huntsmen?"

Obito: Well, I want to save the world and be the greatest Huntsman ever! I come from a clan of expert fighters and being so weak at this age...I guess that's why my mom and dad left me with my grandmother. But it won't matter! After we save the world, I'll get recognition from everyone!

Sapphire: After our "falling out" I decided to roam the world. I saw so much pain in my travels. People needed help from someone so I decided to become a vigilante. For a while I felt like I was doing something good for the people. But I only gave them false hope...I thought when Ozpin approached me with the offer to join Beacon I could do some true good. But I guess now I'm just in the service of Atlas again...heh.

Dante: Well-! When Oz told me my dear twin brother was alive I decided to see if he was telling the truth. Sure enough, he was. And I guess I'm just here because I don't have a place to stay since my shop/home was destroyed. And hey, I get paid to do what I love. Killin' bad guys and saving lives. Just hope they stay saved long enough to realize they're better off without knowing me...

Dominic: Ozpin showed me Dante was alive. I was ecstatic when I heard. And I just had to meet my dear younger brother again.

Dante: You ignored me for the entire day and then we fought on top of the school!

Dominic: That's how I show love Dante.

Sapphire: I feel so bad for your future wife and child.

Dominic: Who says I'm getting married in the future?

Obito: Everyone wants to settle down eventually Dominic. Don't you?

Dominic: No. With how my life has turned out, I don't think I can.

Sapphire: Doesn't sound like much of a life.

Dominic: Yeah well-

Winter: Enough. Are you all ready?

Dante loads a magazine into Ivory and pulls back on the slide before spinning it and putting it on his back

Dante: I'm ready to rock.

Dominic sheathes Yamato and slicks his hair back

Dominic: I am.

Sapphire puts his weapon on his waist and pulls his hood over his head

Sapphire: Let's roll.

Obito tightens his headband and zips up his jacket

Obito: Time to save the world!

Winter: I will provide you information and keep you updated if anything goes awry.

Obito: Wait, you're not coming?

Winter: No. I'm ordered to stay here and let you four do your "job"

Sapphire: It's because of your heels too?

Winter blushes at Sapphire's statement and turns around to hide her face from them

Winter: Just go! And all of you, come back safely...the world cannot afford to lose more heroes.

The team of boys nod and run out of the building and sprinted through the city, over toppled walls and trees when they spot the truck they had seen earlier and sneak up to it.

Dante pulls out Ebony and points it at the driver side window but sees that there was no driver inside of it

Dante: There's nobody here!

Obito: Then where the heck is the driver?

Dante: I don't know man but somebody's gonna realize they're not here!

Sapphire: Hey guys?

Sapphire pops out of the back of the truck holding a pair of Grimm masks

Sapphire: You thinking what I'm thinking?

The three older members of the team change into White Fang uniforms and put on the masks

Obito: Uh guys? They don't have one in my size.

Dominic: Probably because they don't allow children in their ranks.

Obito: Hey!!

Sapphire: Well now what? We can't leave him here.

Dante: He could get in a box.

Obito: What?

Dominic: He is small enough to fit.

Obito: WHAT?!

Sapphire: Hm, yes. And we can get in easier.

Obito: There is no way I'm getting in a freaking box!!

The trio looks at each other and then back at Obito

Obito: What?

Timeskip—

Pulling up to the entrance, Dante honks the horn of the truck and an Atlas soldier with the White Fang logo etched onto his arm, walks over to the driver side and motions for Dante to lower the window

Atlas Turncoat: Finally! What did ya have to take a shit before you got here?

Dante: Yeah man you know these rations we're getting are doing hell on my guts!

The Atlas soldier leans to the side and sees that Dante was joined by someone else

Atlas Turncoat: I thought you were alone.

Dante: Uh, well I—

Dominic: He picked me up on the way back home. I got a little sidetracked and he found me.

Atlas Turncoat: What the hell were you doing all the way out there? City's crawling with Grimm!

Dominic: I like to study them. They're fascinating creatures of darkness. Now please let us through, we're already late as is.

The Atlas soldier sighed and waved for the gate to open and Dante drove through the gate and parks next to other trucks and the twins get out of the truck. Dante pounds on the side of the truck and Sapphire hops out holding a small box in his hands while Dominic wheels in a large weapons crate

Sapphire : Whoa whoa whoa.

Sapphire holds his hand out and they all stop in their tracks and lean out to the side of a truck and see Liquid speaking with a White Fang soldier

Liquid: Stay alert! He'll be through here. I know it.

White Fang Soldier:*salutes* Yes sir.

Liquid: I'm going to swat down some bothersome flies.

Liquid steps onto an elevator that takes him up into the main base

Dante: Is that him?

Sapphire: Blonde hair, trench coat, yeah I'd say that's him alright.

Dominic: Then we're on the right track. Let's get up there and find that weapon before they decide to use it.

Sapphire: Also I forgot to cut air holes for Obito in the box.

Sapphire shakes the small box containing their leader and he goes wide eyed when he gets no response to his shaking. Dante puts two fingers to his ear and calls Winter on a small earpiece that they were given by her

Dante: Yo Ice Queen, can you hear us!

Winter: It's Specialist Schnee!

Dante: I'll take that as a yes.

Winter:*groan* Dominic, what's the situation?

Dominic: We just spotted Liquid going up an elevator. It looks like that's the only way inside.

Winter: Just as I suspected. You four need to get on that elevator without being seen.

Sapphire: We've disguised ourselves as the enemy Winter. We'll contact you when we've made it inside the base.

Winter: Copy that. The clock is ticking gentlemen. Be safe.

Dominic: Copy.

The elevator comes back down and the team hurry to board it. The doors close and the elevator ascends with the team on it. They begin stripping off their disguises and Dominic tears open the box revealing their clothes as well as their weapons. They dress themselves and cut Obito out of the box when they finished

Obito:*gasps for air*

Dante: Morning sunshine!

Obito: I thought I was gonna suffocate in there! What the hell guys?! Ya didn't cut me any air holes?!

Sapphire: Sorry about that..hehe~

Obito: Hehe~ Is that all you have to say?!

Dominic: All of you silence! We're about to reach the top.

Obito grabs his weapons and the team scatters into different hiding spots in the blink of an eye

Liquid gets in the cockpit of an airship and begins to take off

Sapphire: Winter. What's a Vacuo gunship doing here?

Winter: I have no idea. But we have a diversion set up for you four so you can get inside the base easier. Two jets are en route to the base.

Dante: Looks like it worked. Liquid is taking off in the airship.

Winter: Hurry. We don't have a lot of time before they decide to alter the time limit.

Team ODDS: Right!

Sapphire: Let's head up to the landing pad and we'll split up from there.

They sneak up to the stairs to the landing pads, dodging guards while they sneak up the stairs

Dante: Kind of regretting changing out of our disguises.

Sapphire: And how do you suppose we get our weapons up here if we didn't?

Dante: I dunno carry the box?

Obito: Then I'd still be trapped in one!

Dominic: Shh! This is a stealth mission not 'optional stealth'!

A guard turns the corner and sigh's taking a cigarette out and tries to light it with his lighter but the spark wouldn't form

Atlas Turncoat: Tsk! Dammit.

A hand comes out from beside him and takes the lighter and helps him light his cigarette

Atlas Turncoat: Oh thanks!*inhales and exhales*

Dante: Rough day?

Atlas Turncoat: Yeah I've been up for oh about seventeen hours.

Dante: Yeesh. You should take a break.

Atlas Turncoat: Yeah but I'm the only one up here so—Gotta do what you gotta do.

Dante: Yeah it's tough out here. And hey, sorry about this.

Atlas Turncoat:*turns* Sorry about wha-?

Dante knocks the guard out with a punch to the face and drags his unconscious body over to a locker and stuffs the body inside of it

Obito: He seemed nice.

Dante: Yeah. It's almost like they have reasons for betraying their own people.

Dante stares at the fourth wall and blinks a few time's confusing his teammates

Sapphire: Hm. Hey Obito, I think I found your way inside.

Obito: Really?

Sapphire points to a small vent and he pries it open

Obito: Well...guess I'll see you guys inside.

Obito climbs into the vent and Sapphire closes it shut behind him

Sapphire: Guess that leaves us to find our own way in.

Obito shimmies through the ventilation of the base and thanks to his small size, he's able to easily squeeze through

White Fang Soldier: Keep an eye on the hostage. I already moved her to the 1st floor basement. Don't get careless.

Atlas Turncoat: Why? Did something happen?

White Fang Soldier: There's an intruder.

Atlas Turncoat: Intruder?! Where?

White Fang Soldier: He's already done three people in. And they say he's using stealth too. Increase the security detail on the weapon. Don't get yourself killed human. We need all the help we can get right now.

Obito: Guys. There's someone else here. And he's already gotten three people.

Dante: What?

Dominic: Sapphire did you get us caught already?

Sapphire: Okay first of all, I just got inside. Secondly, if I did kill three guards, they wouldn't know they were dead. Someone else is here besides us.

Dominic: Winter. Did you send anyone else in here besides us?

Winter: What? No that's not...wait. It can't be.

Dante: You know something don't you?

Winter: It's a hunch. The man that broke into the base I was stationed at last night. It could be him.

Sapphire: Well can we get a description?

Winter: All that we ever saw of him was a black suit and helmet. He hid every part of his body in that suit. He also uses a katana and is very good with it.

Dominic: Hm. We shall see..

Obito: Well they've also got a hostage. A girl. First floor basement.

Dante: Is she hot?

Dominic: Dante!

Dante: What? I'm just askin'!

Winter: Obito, you need to find that hostage and ask her what she knows about their plans.

Obito: Gotcha. Over and out guys.

Obito slides out of a vent and sneaks his way around a tank hanger inside the base. Using his skills as a shinobi, he ducks and hides from guards patrolling the area

Obito: Guys, I found an elevator. I think this could take me to the basement.

Sapphire: Get going. We'll try to meet you down there.

Obito: Roger.

The elevator doors open and a guard walks out giving Obito the chance to speed into the elevator before its doors close. He presses a button and the elevator descends to the lower levels of the base.

Dominic: Obito. I'm in the basement with you. I'll meet you soon.

Obito: Thanks Dom.

Back at the safe house, Winter sighs and rubs her tired eyes. Being up for long hours takes a toll on a person, even for one in the military. She walks outside and looks down at the base

Winter:*sigh* How far have we fallen...?

Obito sneaks through the basement passing guards on his way to the prison cells. He then climbs into a vent and crawls over the cells and looks through a grate and sees a silver haired wolf faunus doing pushups on the floor

Obito: Guys, I found her.

The woman looks up and gets in a defensive stance

Faunus Prisoner: Huh? Who's there?

Obito kicks the grate out and falls into the cell with the girl

Faunus Prisoner: A kid? What the hell is a kid doing here?

Obito: I'm not a kid! I'm a shinobi!

Faunus Prisoner: Kid how old are you..?

Obito: Fifteen.

Faunus Prisoner:*sigh* Great. My hero is a tween.

Obito: Hey come on! I got in here didn't I?

Faunus Prisoner: I guess? What the heck are you doing here?

Obito: My team and I are here to stop the White Fang from using the weapon here.

Faunus Prisoner: Wait there's others? Are they at least older than you?

Obito: Uh yeah I think they're all nineteen??

The faunus sighs and he sits on the bed in the cell

Faunus Prisoner: Where are you from kid?

Obito: Vale!

Faunus Prisoner: Vale? Oh gods, this isn't your first mission is it?

Obito: Yeah! It is!

Faunus Prisoner: Oh my gods! Why did you take this as your first mission? Who even sent you?

Obito: Atlas.

Faunus Prisoner: Of course they did. God!

The woman punches a wall and whispers how could Atlas send in kids instead of their own men. But, accepting that this is all she has to work with, she sighs and turns back around to Obito

Faunus Prisoner: What do you know about the weapon?

Obito: Nothing. Only that we need to destroy it.

Faunus Prisoner: Well at least you know what to do when you see it. But let me tell you something kid, this thing isn't some kind of peace keeping weapon. It's armed with a payload for launching a preemptive strike anywhere on any kingdom. From Mistral to Vacuo. It can hit its target. A nuclear equipped walking battle tank.

Dominic: Metal Gear?! It can't be!

Obito and the faunus girl jump in shock at Dominic's sudden outburst

Faunus Prisoner: Who the heck are you?!

Dominic: Nevermind that! Is Metal Gear here?!

Faunus Prisoner: Y-yeah. I haven't seen it but I've heard them talking about it.

Obito: What's Metal Gear?

Dominic: It's what we're here to destroy. But it being here...it can't be.

Faunus Prisoner: How do you know so much about it? You don't look military.

Dominic: I've...encountered something like it. And the name, well I knew someone who designed a prototype for it. But that was so long ago..

Faunus Prisoner: Well it's here. And now, the White Fang has Rex.

Obito: Rex?

Faunus Prisoner: That's what they're calling it. Metal Gear Rex. Kinda catchy.

Obito: Is there at least a way to stop it from launching its missiles?

Faunus Prisoner: Uh..well I swiped this keycard from an executive that's being held here too. He may have some info on what it does.

Dominic: And where's he?

Faunus Prisoner: Somewhere on level 1. I have a keycard here too.

The woman takes a card from her back pocket and holds his out for Obito and he takes it.

Dominic: Well let's go find him.

Faunus Prisoner: Wait! What about the guard?

Dominic: Him?

Dominic looks over to his side where the guard of the room was on the floor unconscious

Dominic: He won't bother us for a while.

Dominic opens the cell door with a set of keys and the faunus and Obito step out of the cell. Both teammates give each other a high and low five with a nod while the faunus girl goes over to the guard and starts stripping her clothes off

Obito:*blush* Ah!

Dominic:*covers Obito's eyes* What the hell are you doing?!

Faunus Prisoner: They'll notice me if I'm seen walking around here. So I'm taking this guys clothes. And he's got a keycard here too. So I can get some intel of my own.

Dominic: But did you have to do it right now?!

Faunus Prisoner: What's the matter kid? Never seen a pretty girl before?

Dominic: I've seen plenty of beautiful women before. But this is no time for games! We need to go!

Dominic goes over to the girl and goes to get her up but she spins around and points the guards rifle at his gut

Obito: Whoa! Hey! Don't shoot him!!

Faunus Prisoner: Back up!

Dominic: You're gonna need more than a gun to scare me girl.

Dominic backs away a few paces from the faunus. Her hands shake as she was pointing the gun at the boys and he takes note of this

Dominic: Have you ever actually used a weapon? Let alone point it at someone?

Faunus Prisoner: Don't patronize me!! I'm no rookie!

Dominic: Liar. You haven't even taken the safety off. But you're not one of them are you?

Faunus Prisoner: Let's just get out of here!

The door to the prison open and a group of soldiers funnel in and point their weapons at the trio

Obito: Looks like we'll be a little delayed!

Dominic: Hope you're ready for this rookie!

The faunus open fires on the enemy soldiers while Dominic protects her and Obito from their bullets. Obito throws throwing stars at the hands of the soldiers making them stop shooting; only for them to be gunned down by the girl.

Dominic: Nice shooting.

Faunus Girl: Thanks for the help!

The faunus runs out of the room and sprints towards the elevator at the end of the hall

Obito: Wait!!

She presses a button on the switch next to the elevator and turns around with her gun pointed at them

Dominic: Who are you?!

A ghostly apparition of a man in a gas mask and a trench coat appears above the girl. His heavy breathing downing out any sounds even of the boys own thoughts. Pain shoots through their minds as the begin to see a point of view of Liquid and the man in the gas mask talking with one another while Ocelot was leaning up against a table

Mantis: I just don't get it sir. Why this kid? What's so important about him?

Liquid: You fool! It is not what the boy is, but what he has! His blood, his genes are the key to making me perfect! Ocelot, you've fought him before yes?

Ocelot walks up to Liquid while spinning a revolver in his hand

Ocelot: I have. Even as a child he could take down a fully grown man with a single punch. Heh, imagine what his blood could do for an old man like me.

Liquid: You see! He is the key. The next step for our species!

Mantis: And what of the White Fang? I'm sure they won't sit idly by while we reap the rewards.

Liquid chuckles and puts his hands on Mantis' shoulders

Liquid: You leave our beastly benefactors to me my old friend. Now—

Liquid turns around and starts pacing around the room

Liquid: How are we going to lead that boy into our clutches?

Mantis: Boss. I have a good idea~

The vision ends and not a moment too soon m, as the girl starts spraying the room with hot dust. Dominic grabs Obito and dashes behind a corner saving him from any ricocheting bullets

Dominic:*panting*

Obito:*panting* Thanks man!

Dominic: Don't mention it.

Dominic leans out from behind the corner and he sees the girl inside the elevator take off her mask and wink at him as the elevator doors close shut

The two walk out into the hallway and scan the area for any sign of more guards. A raspy voice came from behind them and they turn around with their weapons drawn, but they find no one there. The voice comes back again and they turn towards it and see the ghostly apparition of Mantis floating in the air

Mantis: Good girl....just like that...

The ghost floats into the ceiling and the boys sigh and puts their weapons away

Dominic: Psycho..

Obito: What?

Dominic: That was Mantis. From the briefing. Whatever his powers are doing, they're messing with our minds.

Obito: A Psycho Mantis. Cool.

Dominic gets on the comm link with Winter and the rest of Team ODDS

Dominic: Winter. We've just had a hallucination. And get this, we've encountered Mantis.

Winter: What?!

Dante: What happened?

Sapphire: Are you guys alright?

Dominic: We're fine. It somehow was and yet wasn't him. It was like he was projecting himself from his body.

Winter: It must be some kind of feedback from his psychometric interference from Mantis.

Sapphire: So they were experiencing a mental feedback loop?

Winter: Did you find anything out from the female held prisoner?

Obito: Well she's a faunus for starters.

Winter: What!

Dante: What kind?

Obito: A wolf faunus.

Sapphire: Okay. Any distinguishing features?

Dominic: She has silver hair. But she's in a soldier disguise so watch your shots and keep a look out.

Winter:*sigh* Is there anything else?

Dominic: Yeah. There's some sort of official being held on level two. Obito and I were just about to go up there.

Dante: Hey that's the level I'm on!

Sapphire: Level two or basement level two?

Dante: Basement level two. I uh, took the stairs but the way down to level one was blocked off. Guess they don't want anyone down there unless it's by elevator.

Winter: That's good. Dante, find out where they are keeping the official and find out anything about the weapon.

Dominic: It's called Metal Gear.

Winter: What? How could you—

Dominic: Metal Gear Rex. That's the name they gave it. A giant walking battle tank with a nuclear payload attached to it.

Sapphire: My gods. If they figure out how to launch the missiles...

Dante: It could be the end of us all. I'm on the case you guys.

Dominic: We're coming up there Dante. Hang tight.

Dante: No. I'll keep searching. If they have him separate from the other cells then he must be important. You guys try to find out where Metal Gear is hiding.

Dominic:*grunt* Fine. But ask him about what this keycard the girl mentioned does.

Dante: Got it. Dante out.

Obito: You think he'll be okay?

Dominic: If he's caught then he'll put up a fight. But...I have faith in my brother.

Dante creeps through the second level of the basement floor. He sneaks past a wall that had a discolored section to it and immediately calls up everyone

Dante: Hey guys?

Sapphire: What happened?

Dante: There's a wall here.

Dominic: Okay...?

Dante: I mean it's been cemented over! Hm. I can probably bust through here and see what's on the other side.

Winter: Be careful. We don't know what will happen if you do that.

Dante: Only one way to find out!

Dante slices the wall and kicks it out, sending debris flying outwards. He steps into the room that was sealed off and he sees the whole room was laid with wires and in the center was a man in a brown suit and trench coat secured to a column. He wasn't moving. Could he be dead?

Dante: Damn. Please don't be dead..

Dante creeps over to the old man and the old man coughs and spat out blood signaling he was still alive, although for how long was the question.

Dante: Hold on, I'll get you out of there!

Dante reaches for the old man but he shouts at him not to touch the wires

Old man: N-no! No don't touch it!!

Dante backs his hand away and looks around the room and spots explosives hooked onto the columns around the room

Dante: Oh shit...

Click!

Dante hears the sound of the hammer of a gun being pulled back and he instantly dodges to the right and a bullet flies past him, hitting the wall behind him

Dante: Phew..

???: Right!

Dante leans out slightly behind the column he was hiding behind and sees an old man spinning a revolver in his hand leaning up against one of the columns. Revolver Ocelot.

Ocelot: Touch that wire and the C-4 blows up along with the old man.

The old man begins shaking in fear at the sound of Ocelots voice coming from behind him

Ocelot: Hm. You look so much like him. Ah! You're his brother aren't you?

Dante: I take it you're Ocelot then?

Ocelot: That's right. Special Operations FOXHOUND.

Ocelot spun his gun around a few times and does some fancy gun tricks that make Dante a little jealous

Ocelot: Revolver......Ocelot. I was hoping I could finish the battle your brother and I had. But you'll do for now. Now let's see if you can live up to his skills.

Ocelot and Dante both point their weapons at each other in a standoff. Ocelot spins his revolver and he starts monologuing about his gun as he reloads it

Ocelot: This is the greatest handgun ever made...

Dante: A Single Action Army. Nice choice. But I prefer a 45 automatic.

Ocelot: Ah! A fellow bullet user. They say gunpowder rounds are bygones of a long dead era. But I can't get over the smell of it in my nostrils! The way my gun recoils back whenever I fire a shot! Can you say the same my boy?

Dante: Nah. Bullets do good at killing thing I want to make sure stay dead.

Ocelot: Yes. This is why I chose this glorious handgun. Six bullets. More than enough to kill anything that moves.

Ocelot holsters his gun and Dante does the same making the old soldier smile

Ocelot: Now I'll show you why the call me...Revolver.

Both gunmen stare at each others hands. Both waiting for the other to make the first move to kill the other.

Ocelot: DRAW!!

Ocelot draws his gun and fires off a shot at Dante that he sidesteps

Old man: P-please! Careful!

Dante draws Ivory and the two gunmen run around the room taking shots at one another but none of them connecting

Ocelot: I love to reload during battle!!

Dante fires off two more rounds at Ocelot that he dodges. Even for his old age, Ocelot was still quick on his feet

They trade gunfire again and Dante sees Ocelot was right next to a steam pipe. He shoots the pipe and it bursts open, shooting hot steam right onto Ocelot

Ocelot: AARGH!! THAT HURTS!!

Ocelot aims his gun and fires off a round that ricochets around the room before hitting Dante, making him do a backflip and land behind another column. Dante smirks as he had caught the bullet in his mouth and spits it out

Ocelot: This has been amusing. But I'm afraid this battle must end.

Old man: Please! Stop!

Dante: Big words old man! But I've got one more gun and more than enough bullets to keep going!

Ocelot: Ahh. You're pretty good! Just what I'd expect of the one with the same blood as that boy. It's been a long time since I've had a good fight....

Ocelot pops out from behind the column he was hiding behind ready for round two with Dante

Ocelot: But I'm just getting warmed up!!

SKKRRTT!!

Ocelots arm was suddenly sliced off by some invisible blade. The severed limb falls to the floor as Ocelot beings spewing blood from his lost limb

Ocelot: AAARGH!! MY ARM!!

Suddenly something began slicing up the room they were in. Cutting the cables attached to the explosives

Ocelot: Invisible enemy...slicing the whole place up..who??

The column the old man was attached to began to topple over and it pulls on some of the cables that were still attached to the explosives

Ocelot: The columns falling!! Get down!!

Ocelot and Dante take cover as the explosives go off, covering the room in a cloud of dust

Dante:*grunt* Dom is that you?! Sapphire!!

A man I'm a black stealth suit appears, having been using stealth camouflage to stay invisible

The man was holding a sword as he came out of his stealth camouflage shocking Ocelot and Dante

Ocelot: Stealth camouflage!!

Ocelot rolls over to his severed arm and picks up his gun, pointing it at the man

Ocelot: Who are you?!

The man tilts his head at Ocelot and deflects a bullet from Ocelots gun. He growls and stands back up

Ocelot: You win this time boy!! But I'll be back!

Ocelot runs out of the room through the hole Dante had made when he came into the room. The man relaxes his arms and cracks his neck. Dante comes out of hiding and points his guns at the man but the man just turns around to face him not caring he was at gunpoint

Dante: Thanks for the help. But I didn't ask for it.

???: ...

The man looks at Dante through his helmet visor. His eyes transfixed on his face.

Dante: See something you like? Who are you?

The man points his sword forward and speaks in a low vocoded voice

???: I'm like you. A shadow running away from his past.

Old man: Wh-what is that thing?!

The man starts sparking and he screams out in agony confusing Dante and scaring the old man

???: I...am tortured....only death by his hands will cleanse me!!

The man grunts and falls to his knees in pain. He then looks at Dante and goes on a mad frenzy attacking him and slicing the room up. Dante fires off shots at the man but his speed was so great he shot the man's after images.

???: This pain..!! It makes me feel..

Dante and the man begin fighting hand to hand with each other. Their strength proving equal to one another. Dante was sent flying back from the man by a kick to his chest, but Dante stopped his momentum by planting his feet into the ground.

The man jumps into the air and begins slicing up the ceiling

???: So alive~!!

A piece of the ceiling falls and the man kicks it towards Dante who backflips over it and lands on the floor with a hard thud. The man stabs his blade into the floor and begins to run while dragging it with him, slicing up the ground as he moves. Dante hops up to his feet, almost getting his head sliced in two by the man. He then trips the man who catches himself in the air and lands on his feet. Both of them grab each other weapon as they were about to kill the other with it. They separated from each other and the man hisses before becoming invisible and jumping out of the room and runs down the hallway at high speeds, running past Obito and Dominic who had heard the explosion and were coming to see what had happened.

Dante: Guess he didn't want to stay for the after party. Heh.

Obito: Dante!!

Dominic: What the hell-?!

Dante: You guys made it.

Dominic: What happened in here?

Dante: Just one big explosive party. You should've seen it. I ran into that Ocelot guy earlier too.

Dominic: Ocelot? Here?! Where?!

Dante: He bolted after his arm got sliced off.

Obito sees the severed arm and backs away from it and hides behind Dominic

Obito: D-did...did you..?

Dante: No it was some ninja dressed in all black. Guy was invisible so you probably didn't see him come your way.

Obito: What?! He ran right past us?!

Dominic: That's impossible! I would have sensed him!

Dante: Maybe he's just that good.

The old man groans and the trio go up to him and help him up and lean him against a wall

Obito: Are you alright? Can you talk?

Dominic: Who are you?

Old man: I-I'm the president of Arms Tech..K-Kennith Baker!

Dante: Well chef, can you tell us anything about Metal Gear? How can we shut it off? Or at least stop them from detonating the warheads? You got a password?

Baker: A-ah...I get it. You boys...were sent by James..! You're from Atlas. B-but you don't look like soldiers. And this one's too small.

Obito: Hey!

Dominic: Begin making sense old man or else you will wish you'd have died in the explosion. Do they have a way to launch the missiles?

Baker: Y-yes...I had a code...I talked...

Obito: What?! But that means they could launch at any time!! Why wait?!

Baker:  I-it's not like I didn't try! I managed to resist Mantis' mind probe!

Dante: How? You focus on cute kitties or something gross to throw him off?

Baker: Hehe~ No. I have surgical implants in my brain. Psychic shielding. Think of it like a shield around your brain.

Dominic: Then how did they get your code?

Bake: I..I never had training on how to resist torture!

Baker coughs and they see the state he was in. Bruises everywhere on his face and body as well was one of his arms broken

Obito: Here, let me help you.

Obito takes out some bandages and medicine from his back pouch and starts to patch up President Baker

Baker: He's not human! I tell you he loved every second of it!!

Dominic: This was Ocelot huh?

Dominic points at Bakers broken arm and he nods as Obito puts his arm in a sling made from some of the wires that were attached to the explosives

Dante: Well at least you got back at him. His was sliced off.

Baker: Ah you're a funny guy huh?

Dante: I try to be.

Dominic scratches his chin while thinking to himself and he starts passing back and forth

Dominic: If they already have your code, then why would they wait? To get their demands quicker? No. Winter would have told us by now. Unless..something's preventing them from launching!

Obito: Wait! The card key! President sir! What does the card key do? Can it stop the launch?

Baker: C-card key...? Oh yes..! It can! But..it also starts the launch.

Dante: That's why they can't launch. They need the card key so they can launch the missiles. Wait, then who has the card key?

Dominic: That woman we met earlier. She said she had the key with her. Now we know what it does.

Baker: W-woman?

Dominic: A grey haired wolf faunus. She was thrown in prison with you, yes?

Baker: O-oh yes. Her. She swiped the key from me when they were searching me. I guess she didn't want them to get into their hands. I hope she's okay...she didn't want to take part in genocide against humans. Argh...Metal Gear was designed to strike at the Grimm not faunus! I told them that but they didn't listen.

Dante: She must have something that we can use to get in touch with her.

Baker: I-I've been in contact with her. She stole a communications device from a guard.

Dominic: Good. What's her frequency?

Baker: I-it's..........oh. I forgot...

Dante: What?!

Dominic: Damn!!

Dominic flips out and starts smashing his fist into one of the columns before turning around and raising his sword above his head at the president

Baker: O-oh right...I have it written down..

Obito searches Bakers pockets and he finds a small piece of paper with a frequency written on it

Obito: Got it.

Dominic:*sigh* Okay. We'll contact her and get her up to speed. But we need to know if there is any other way to stop Metal Gear.

Baker: Y-you need to find Hal Emmerich then!

Dante: Who's that?

Baker: The team leader of the Metal Gear project! A genius in robotics! But a little bit of an oddball..

Dominic: What if he can't find a way to stop it?

Baker:*grunt* Then you'll have to destroy it. Emmerich is the only one who knows how to destroy it!

Dante: Where is he?

Baker: H-he's probably held at where he worked on Metal Gear. It's north from here.

Obito: Hey, why were you guys here making this thing? Aren't you just trying to kill Grimm? I don't think a nuclear weapon is the best idea. Especially with this day and age.

Baker: O-oh my boy, it's so much more than that. The world is on the brink of war, and we need something to protect ourselves when it happens. I don't like the idea, but it's all we've got left. Y-you were also probably sent here to get this right? The optical disk?

Baker hands Obito a small drive and explains what was contained on that tiny piece of tech

Baker: The only remaining copy of the data collected from the Metal Gear exercise.

Obito: Wait we weren't-

Baker: I know you were sent to get this. Make sure you report this to James...your boss.

Dominic: We're not pawns of Atlas. If Ironwood wants the data, you can give it to him yourself.

Baker: N-no! This is the key..! The key to saving us!

Baker coughs up more blood and holds his chest in pain

Obito: Hey, calm down! You need to stay still.

Baker: I-I can't! I'm sorry boys...but you've rescued a dead man...

Obito looks at his hand and sees it was covered in blood. The presidents blood. He looks at the twins unsure of what to do as Baker reaches into his pocket and pulls out a photo

Baker: I-I have grandkids...! They mean the world to me! I wanted them to live in a world where they can play and not have to be scared of Grimm. Please..! Stop them from taking my grandkids away...please...stop...them...

Bakers hand falls to the floor, dropping the picture. Obito checks his pulse and hangs his head low and sighs

Obito: He's dead...

Dante kneels down and picks up the photo, dusting it off before putting it inside of his coat pocket

Dante: Come on, we don't have much time left.

Dominic: Winter. Come on.

Winter: I'm here. What's the situation?

Dominic: There was another hostage. President Kennith Baker. But he's dead.

Winter: Damn! Did you at least find anything out from him before he died?

Dominic: They have his code to arm the missiles but they needed his card key to start the launch sequence.

Winter: Then we still have time to stop them. Do you have the card key?

Dominic: No. That female soldier had it on her.

Winter: Then you need to find her and work together on this.

Dominic: Hm. Fine. We'll contact Sapphire on the situation and rendezvous topside. Over and out.

The call ends and Winter holds her head in her hands as she looks at the base from where she was sitting from. She couldn't help but feel useless sitting behind a computer leading these children to their deaths. But she had no choice.

Sapphire sneaks through a hallway after taking out two guards and hiding their bodies away when he gets a call on his comm link. He kneels down and presses his finger to his ear.

Sapphire: Hello?

Dominic: Sapphire what's your status?

Sapphire: I'm making my way through the north side of the base. What was that explosion earlier?

Dominic: Dante had a run in with some kind of ninja.

Sapphire: A ninja?

Dominic: Yeah. So keep your eyes peeled. He's using camouflage so he's invisible.

Sapphire: Hm, anything else?

Dominic: You're at the north side right? Then you need to find Hal Emmerich.

Sapphire: Why?

Dominic: He knows how to stop Metal Gear.

Sapphire: I'll see if I can find him.

Sapphire destroys a security camera and heads up a flight of stairs, reaching the outside of the base. His hair blows with the cold wind and he jumps out into the frozen tundra
