Chat Blanc
I knew it would be idiotic to get Alya now - that might jeopardize her identity leaking out to the two boys with me. I was trapped!
“Nathaniel Kurtzberg, will you accept the responsibility of the fox Miraculous to help aid myself and Ladybug to defeat the evil that we have been challenged with? If you accept, you must keep in mind that I will expect you to return this to me once your task has been completed. Do you understand?” I held out the necklace to Nathaniel, which he accepted.
“Of course, Cochon.” He put the necklace on, and the kwami’s light blinded both Marc and Nathaniel.
“Hello, Al-” Trixx opened his dark purple eyes and covered his mouth. “Who are you?”
“N-Nathaniel.” The small kwami giggled and flew around Nathan’s head with a smile.
“Great to meet you, Nathaniel! All you have to say is ‘Trixx, Let’s Pounce!’ Can you do that?”
“S-Sure.” The red-head looked to Marc who gave him a reassuring nod. “Trixx, Let’s Pounce!”
Nathaniel was surrounded by an orange and white light that caused both me and Marc to avert our eyes. When we looked back, Nathaniel was gone. In his place stood a boy whose red hair was tinted with white at the ends, his blue eyes streaked with orange and white.
On his shoulder rested an orange cape that was as short as his elbows in the front but as long as his waist in the back; the entire thing lined with white fur. He wore a light orange body suit that just hardly hugged his body. His eyes filled with determination and confidence were surrounded by an orange and white mask.
“How do I look?”
“Like a superhero,” Marc answered with wide eyes.
“You look like a person ready to hear the plan.” I had no time to waste. I had to save Chat Noir.

I walked to a rooftop with my eyes watering. “Chat? Chat, come here! I know you are there!”
“Brava, pig.” I jumped at the voice next to my ears. He whispered the words, each phrase cutting my heart.
“I, I do mean what I said. Earlier? I care for you,” I turned to face him and grabbed his white hand.”It doesn’t matter which color mask you wear, or who you love. I will always be by your side. I don’t want to fight you, Chat. But I will if I have to in order to defend Paris. To save you.” My plan was working so far, but the sadness in the victim’s eyes broke what few pieces of my heart that remained.
“You think you can?” I nodded.
“I will. Ladybug will. We are all a family. If one falls, we all work to build them up.” He hugged me, and I could hear his sobs.
“Thank you, Cochon.” My smile melted and my eyes burned from the guilt that was eating at my gut. This wasn’t an akuma talking; this was Chat Noir. “Nah!” He screamed in pain, and his grip on me tightened. I tried as I could to free myself, but to no avail.
“Chat, let go!”
“Gah!”
I saw the thing I had been waiting for and I punched my former friend. His head went back, but he then readied himself as if her was about to tackle me. I ran the opposite direction and jumped off the roof just in time for the string of a yoyo to grab my legs and pull me to safety.
“Are you crazy? What were you thinking?” Nathaniel helped me up as Ladybug yelled at me. I approached her with a stern tone.
“I was thinking about how your constant disrespect hurt one of your close friends! I get you are dealing with your own stuff, but please don’t make Chat Noir suffer your pain.” She looked shocked. I stepped away from her with my arms crossed. “But we don’t have time to discuss that right now. Did you get it?”
“Yes.” She pulled a blanket out from her yoyo, holding it up with the help of Nath. “I have no clue what to do with this, or how this is going to help us with the akuma.”
“May I please try something, Ladybug?” I extended my hand, and she hesitantly set the large blanket in my grasp. All I saw was a woman with blond hair tucking in a younger Adrien.
“Don’t worry, the monsters won’t be able to attack you as long as you have the blanket to hide you.”
The vision popped, and I handed the blanket back. “Thanks. We need to go, now.”

“Chat, the strongest person is the one that has the courage to do what he fears.”

We all landed in the Eiffel Tower, Ladybug still arguing with me.
“He is my partner, I should do it.”
“He doesn’t think you love him, I doubt he would listen to you,” Nathaniel was taking my side with more confidence than I knew he could muster.
“Precisely. If my plan doesn’t work, then we will do yours. Alright?” The heroine mumbled something angrily. “Right. Fox? The light’s on you.”
Nathaniel nodded and began playing a sweet tune on his magical flute before launching the ball of light into the air.
“Are you sure this is going to work, Cochon?” Ladybug looked concerned and anxious. She looked like Marinette.
She looked like the scared girl that couldn’t even talk to a mere boy. It was in that moment that it clicked: Chat Noir is Adrien.
Perhaps Marinette wouldn’t confess to her love to either egos, I was confident she still cared very deeply for the cat in black.
I set my hand on her shoulder. “I promise I will do everything in my power to make sure it does.”
“Good day, Milady.” Chat Blanc was bowed to us, a smirk on his face that seemed beyond creepy. “I see you’ve gotten yourself a new cat,” he nodded towards Nathaniel whom Ladybug was standing in front of protectively. “Am I that replaceable?” I could see in her wet eyes that she wanted to step towards him and take away this suffering.
“I could never replace you, kitty.” He had begun to take a step towards her, but I stepped in his way.
“Chat, I know you feel alone, like nobody cares about you.” He was staring intensely at his former partner with the purple lights that illuminated the night with a dark tone. “But she does. I do. I know who you are, and I know who you want to be.” He looked at me for only a second. “You want everyone to think that you are Chat Noir: The lovable hero of Paris fighting beside his lady. The only way you can do that is if you fight this. Prove to Hawk Moth that he can’t push Chat Noir around.” I lifted his right hand and slowly slid off his ring.
We locked eye contact, and I could see the regret in his eyes. I guided his wrist so his fingertips were touching his ring. We were standing so close together, we were breathing the same air. Our noses were close together, and I am sure I would have been blushing under different circumstances.
“If you want to prove yourself to Ladybug, all you need to do is say that one word.”
“I-I can’t.” A tear dropped down his cheek.
“You can, you are the only one that can.” He nodded, a purple outline appeared around his eyes.
“You don’t control me. Cataclysm!” The moment he said the last letter, the ring began to dissolve and his transformation began.
“The blanket, Ladybug!” She tossed it to me, and I grabbed the ring, held the corners of the blanket in my fingers. I tackled Chat Noir off the edge of the landmark just as Adrien’s shoes were beginning to show.
I shut my eyes as I heard the crunch of leaves underneath Adrien. I had the blanket above his head and below his toes.
“Cochon?” The sweetness in his voice had returned, and I scrambled to get off his body. Adrien sat up with a spark of panic in his eyes as he looked at his hand.
The blanket was still above us, but we had increased the distance between us. I held his ring out in front of him with a sad smile. “I believe this is yours?” He quickly took it from me, and I felt something moving in my hair.
Before I could think on it too much, a black kwami fell off my head and into my palms with a dramatic sigh.
“I am being starved and neglected! I need camembert!” I smiled and tickled the creatures stomach.
“Plagg!” Adrien hissed and opened his shirt to indicate that the kwami should be leaving. Instead, he floated above my shoulder and crossed his small arm-type things.
“No. This human smells like cheese.”
“Plagg, I smell like cheese!”
“Yes, but this human smells like camembert!” The cat-themed creature sniffed my hair, and I couldn’t hold back the chuckle.
“I don’t smell like anything EXCEPT camembert!”
“Fine.” The kwami flew into Adrien’s overshirt with an eyeroll.
“Adrien?”
“Yeah?”
“You know that you have people that care for you, right?”
____________
“Thank you, Nathaniel. I really do appreciate your help.” The boy with red hair handed me the necklace back with a grin.
“Anytime! That was really cool to hang out with a few of my favorite superheroes!” He blushed, and I giggled as I set a hand on his shoulder.
“It was pretty cool for us, too.” My bracelet beeped to warn me I had one minute until I detransformed. “May I please use your tent?”
The two boys looked at each other and Marc answered. “I don’t think Sam has gotten back, so go ahead.”
“THANKYOU!” I ran to the tent and zipped myself in just as Daizzi’s spirit was released from my bracelet with a yawn.
“Can we take a day off tomorrow?” I pat the pink head and fed it a small snack.
“You got it.”
__________
I know that is a lot to happen in four pages, but…
OKAY! So, the next part will show a more familiar villain. I am contemplating on exactly how I want to do that.
I am sorry if this was poorly written, I was really bored and I finished it within 30 minutes without actually thinking my ideas through…
