The ghost took the lead of the resistance fleet. "General syndulla how to plan on making it aboard that destroyer?" Verso asked, "HA HA inferno squad you should of done more reading in the academy of how we took down tarkens star destroyer." Zeb chuckled, "proton torpedoes are ready and my tie defender present is ready." Sabine said just as mando ships entered the system. "Chopper you heard her, do it." Hera ordered as a re painted defender entered the system "make it look good guys." Leia ordered as a few fighters attacked the remote control fighter. "General Incoming reacon fighter under attack by the resistance." A deck hand informed general hux just as the defender took a few blast making smoke and fire trail from one of the wings.

"Cover that defender clear hanger bay 5." Hux ordered just as a squadron of first order tie fighters went after the two A-Wings chasing the defender. As the fighters opened fire the defender crashed hard in the hanger slamming into crates and sent chunks of the fighter across the docked fighters damaging them severely. "3..2...1...0 Sabine NOW." Hera ordered just then a massive ion pulse went through the ship knocking out all the on the ship followed by Sabine pressing another button and a proton bomb was ignited destroying the whole hanger and causing a massive whole in the massive destroyer.

On board Ezra and Thrawn felt the concussion and ion pulse. "Classic Phoenix squadron move." Thrawn commented as first order troopers ran through the ship. "WHERES OUR COMS AT!!!!" Hux yelled, "Find Bridger and kill them both if they escape the new republic has a reason to get involved cuz he's a rebel hero." Kylo-Ren ordered.
Hera gunned the ghost as the other destroyers got in defensive positions which mandaliorn and resistance fighters followed behind. "Cover the ghost at all cost we must get Bridger free."  Bo Katan ordered.  Hera weaved the ghost into one of the hangers of the destroyer and immediately Chopper positioned the turret cannons facing the control room and opened fire blowing the control room into a burning wreck. Hera pressed the ramp button and inferno squad, Ashoka, Sabine and zeb ran out blasters blazing and Ashoka ignited her white lightsaber staff deflecting blaster bolts and she used the force to rip off a tie fighter wing and cover them from heavy blaster fire.
The heavy blaster fire was heard through the ship which Ezra and Thrawn made their way to increasingly larger fire fight. As they got nearer a explosion ripped through the wall followed by a mando figure and purple beast swinging a electro staff , "Ezra!" Sabine yelled as she blasted two more troopers. "Sabine!!!" Ezra called back which through the smoke she saw Ezra still injured making his way to her. She rolled two thermal detonators down the hall way and blasted the doors shut as the explosion rocked behind the door she blasted shut. The blaster fire died down and eventually nothing but silence. "Clear lets get Ezra out of here." Zeb said as Sabine holstered her blasters and ran up to hug Ezra. The warmth in each other's arms finally after being apart for so long the two who've longed for each other but couldn't get the chance to tell how they felt to each other due to the circumstances from family to putting the mission first finally together. "We gotta move." Thrawn said which Sabine immediately drew her pistol and zeb shouldered his rifle, "he's right we gotta go now and easy guys we didn't kill each other just trust me on this one." Ezra said which zeb grabbed Thrawn on the shoulder and pushed him in front of him as the four ran through the massive whole in the wall.

As they reached the ramp of the hanger Ezra was thrown off the ramp and pulled away from them. Just then a cross style red lightsaber appeared, "your end is now Ezra Bridger!" Kylo barked as he swung for Bridger but Ezra rolled dodging the first strike hitting the floor. On the ramp Sabine dug out Ezra's lightsaber and tossed it too him as Ezra flipped away from another attempted strike. Through mid air he caught his lightsaber and ignited it. "You'll fear me Bridger." Kylo said to him which Ezra closed his eyes and took a deep breath. Just then Kylo lunged at Bridger with such force but Ezra's blade ignited and blocked blow after blow effortlessly just then without warning Kylo was thrown across the hanger and into a cockpit of a stationary tie. Ezra turned off his lightsaber and ran aboard which zeb yelled "we got him!" Through the coms and the ghost escaped the disabled destroyer.

"We repeat the liberator of lothal is free, meet at checkpoint delta lets head home." Hera ordered which bo katan and the resistance fleet prepared to jump but that's when the 5th fleet entered the system. "Resistance fleet this is admiral wedge atienlless (probably spelled wrong I wrote this at 1:30 am cut me some slack) we got this from here." Wedge told Leia as the main batteries and K fighters were sent into face the first order. But Kaz and Poe stayed to help the new republic fleet out.

The resistance and mandos exited the system only minor casualties. Thrawn sat down on the wall of the ghost just thinking about the things he's done and now how his once enemy now was a life time friend who'd risk his own safety to protect his friends and family. Verso seeing how tattered Bridger watched as both young adults took their time in the back of the cargo bay slowly leaned into their first kiss. They may have been slow but both were so excited but so nervous to finally release how they felt but once they connected so much passion, desire, lust, love and all they've been through together finally in each slow kiss. Zeb started clapping interrupting the two followed by "about dam time we get you two together haha." Zeb told them. Eventually one by one on the ghost started clapping for them and lastly was Thrawn just thinking about now he has a chance for new opportunities and a second chance.  "Coming up on Lothal in a few hours." Hera told everyone.
