Ava was relieved she was far from the training fields. Just from seeing the prince's face, she begins to feel heated.

Suddenly, she remembered she declared a duel with Yeonjun on the next day.

She groaned and walked through the empty halls. Each side had shut doors and decorative things.

She didn't really bother, it was normal to see them. Even if she's in another hall, she could hear the music of the ballroom echo through the halls.

The joyful music of a violin, a cello, and a viola, all accompanied by a piano.

The evening was still young, joyable energy lingered around the castle. She also lingers around the castle.

"Uhm..." She heard a deep voice. She spun around to see another masked boy stood in front of her.

Another prince of Kingdom Connect, she thought. After all, it was only their princes who wore masks in the ball.

He took off his blue and gold mask and innocently smiled at her. She felt her heart flatter, although she likes to keep the walls.

"Yes?" Ava sternly asked, no emotion showed on her expression. Even if there is a lot of mixed emotions running around her head.

"I'm lost? Do you happen to know where the rest room is?" He questioned as he rethought all the bad things he ever did.

Her gaze felt like a cobra was staring at him, ready to bite, and poison him.

Suddenly, that feeling disappeared when Ava softly smiled.

"The rest room is at that hall," she pointed at the hallway to her left.

"Go straight and turn right, the rest room's door has something carved on it. You can find it," she smiled.

"Ah, thank you!" The boy bowed and rushed to the rest room.

Ava was about to return to her designated area. That was until she saw something sparkling on the floor.

It was the boy's clip.

It was stunning, surely expensive, and made our of real gemstones.

She thought about leaving it on the floor, however, someone else might take it, and claim it theirs.

Even though she wanted to leave, she waited for the male to come back for her to give the clip back.

"Oh, Princess Ava?" She lifts her head to look at the direction where the came from.

The boy dressed in good, blue, and white clothing. His white and silver mask rest on his head as well.

Prince of Kingdom Connect again, she stares at him.

His silver hair matched his mask. His hair styled back which complimented his masculine yet soft face structure.

She did hope he takes off his mask... Whenever these princes takes off their masks, their looks manages to make her emotions skip.

"The evening is still young, what is the princess of honor doing here?" He walked closer to her.

The softest smile plastered on his lips. Ava feels extremely weird around these princes, not uncomfortable, just weird.

"I don't like to be around them," despite the weird feeling, she answered his question.

"Oh, I see, well-," he unties the mask's ribbon behind his head. Once he removes the mask, he smiled at her, immediately.

Ava blinked a few times before she looks away.

Such innocent and honey voice cannot cannot fit his face, unless he smiles, of course.

"I hope you find comfort in a peaceful area," the smile stayed on his face.

They both halted their movements when they heard foosteps from behind. They turned to face the person whose footsteps are heard.

"Niki, I didn't know you're there," the male said to the other prince.

"I didn't know you would be here too," the other said. Ava gazed at the two princes, her eyes going back and forth.

Then it hit her.

"I believe this is yours," Ava hand him the clip. The prince was shook, not even realized that his clip was missing.

He smiled and clipped it back to his blazer. He did a little bow to Ava, the smile still evident.

"Thank you, Princess- oh yeah, I am Prince Nishimura Niki from Kingdom Connect," he shortly introduced himself.

They faced the other prince who let out a snicker.

"I am Prince Kim Sunoo of Kingdom Connect," he introduced himself as well.

Ava tilted her head, they're obviously not related... However, how did they find each other?

"Niki, we need to return to the ball. Heeseung and Sunghoon might be looking for us," Sunoo looked at the younger.

"Ah, right..." Niki nods his head, he looks at Ava for the last time.

"It surely was a great pleasure to talk to you, Princess," Niki did a bow.

"It really was, Princess Ava. It is no lie that you are a very interesting princess," Sunoo put on his mask before he bowed.

Ava was bewildered with the sudden bowing. Despite that, she did a courtesy anyway.

Niki put on his mask and followed Sunoo who made his way to the ballroom.

Surely and certainly, the night was still young. Maybe, more events and unexpected meetings are awaiting to occur.

That definitely piqued Ava's curiosity, however, at the same time, she hoped she wouldn't encounter anyone anymore.

She already felt so much puzzled emotions. All because of 3 princes of Kingdom Connect.

Why? How? She doesn't know, all she knows is that she does not want to be flummoxed once more.
