"What are you doing here?"

JUNGWON GOT DRESSED in brown litten pants. He paired it with a loose white shirt with a white waistcoat.

The good details of the waistcoat stood out. Jungwon felt good in it, extremely good.

He wore wool stockings that doesn't pass his leather boots.

"My prince, do you want any other accessories?" His servant asked as Jungwon stared at himself at the mirror.

"No need, thank you." He says to the servant before he leaves the room. He looks both sides of the hall for any signs of Ava.

He sighs when he sees none. He's suddenly feeling anxious to see her.

The Crowned Princess that most men wants to marry is in their kingdom; in their castle. Who wouldn't be anxious?

He was headed to Ava's bedroom to show her around the castle. After all, he does think that she won't get the chance if the other princes arrive.

Jungwon was fiddling with his fingers when he suddenly heard a familiar voice. He takes a peek from the other hall and saw Ava.

"Ava-," he was cut off.

"Please, it's alright. You may put the extra clothes on my bed. I can put them on myself." He heard Ava say- he was shocked.

The maid nodded her head, "alright, your highness. If there's something we can do to make you comfortable, please tell us."

With Ava's gentle voice, it swooned Jungwon's heart. He never knew such person would be gentle with maids and servant.

Ava waved goodbye and thanks to the maid before she turned the other way. Her eyes widen when she sees Jungwon peeking his head through the hall.

"Oh, hello?" Smiled Ava, her smile felt like honey. Too much of it, you'll get sick from all the sweetness but in a good way.

You'll feel butterflies beginning to fly around your stomach. Your lips becoming a smile as well and your heartbeat increasing.

Jungwon clears his throat and snapped out of his trance. He avoids her gaze with his cheeks turning a rose color.

"I-I'll give you a tour if you're willing to follow me around." Ava's smile grew wider when Jungwon spoke those words.

The next minute, they were walking halls to halls. The gorgeous furniture and paintings were a pleasure to the eyes. The large windows for the sunlight to peek in.

Their castle brought so much wamrth, despite it being large. Ava couldn't tell if it's because of the kind hearted people or it's just the interior.

Either way, Ava felt glad to be away from her respective kingdom. She does know that she'll most likely going to be grounded but being in the presence of Jungwon- if made her feel safe.

"We're near the garden," stated Jungwon. Ava bobbed her head and started to see a large door.

The closer they got, the more Ava was surprised. Their large garden was beautiful; full of small fields of flowers and an area to relax in.

"Come on, we can relax for a bit." Jungwon smiles and takes a seat on the blanket laid out for them. A chuckle came out of Ava's lips before she sat beside Jungwon.

"This feels nice," muttered Ava and Jungwon started humming a song.

With relaxation and security, Ava shut her eyes. The prince's presence has never made her feel so safe before.

Away from her brothers, she doesn't feel pressured. Ava turned to the side and saw a daisy that stood tall beside her.

With a soft smile, her fingers gently caressed on the petals. Such delicate touch for a delicate flower.

Jungwon faced her and saw the way she caressed the flower. Suddenly, Jungwon pats her shoulder.

She turned to him with a confused hum.

"May I hold your hand? Please..." Jungwon reached his palm out to her. With slight confusion, Ava nodded.

Seconds later, her hand interlaced with his. Jungwon smiles- the feeling of warmth on her palm were moved to his own.

How can a princess have such a warm and delicate touch?

As for Ava, the feeling is back again. Her heart was racing rapidly- her cheeks were getting hotter every second she stared at Jungwon.

The sly smile that rest on his lips brought so much comfort to her. Sudenly, Ava rests her forehead on top of his hand.

"H-huh? Ava, are you okay? Are you tired? Should we go inside?" Panic arose while Ava laughed, her forehead still against his hand.

"No, no... Let's stay like this for a bit longer. It feels nice," it was Jungwon's turn to have his cheeks colored pink.

Ava smiled at what she had done to him. A warm feeling surrounded them- is it because of the sun or it is because of each other?

Jungwon stared at the princess, her hair getting in the way of her features. Her pink lips glossed and her eyes shut tightly as his hand was still pressed on her forehead.

The sun shine brightly upon the two royals.

A relaxing feeling succumbed Ava, a feeling she has never felt before. Jungwon felt safe with the princess, a warm feeling pulled the weight off his shoulders.

"Ava," Jungwon called her name, his voice so soft that Ava could melt any moment.

"Yes?" Ava lifted her head to look at him. Her eyes met his and Jungwon could feel butterflies swarming his heart and stomach.

"Are you really not going to dinner hours from now?" Jungwon noticed how her grip on his hand loosened.

Silence came by and stayed for a few minutes then Jungwon saw the soft smile on her lips.

"I will not." The prince looked shocked by her words but when he saw the look her eyes displayed... All he could feel is the flattering of his heart.

She looked so vulnerable, yet so strong. Her eyes of courage and warmth multiplied the butterflies Jungwon had swarming him.

"Wah! Look it's a purple butterfly!" Laughed Ava when a butterfly flew over them.

IS IT BAD TO BE SELFISH FOR ONCE? Sunoo thought on their way back to their kingdom. The younger prince sat beside him as he smiled at the townspeople.

"I wonder where Princess Ava is." Asked Sunoo and waved at a little boy who called his name. Niki hummed as he accepted a flower.

"She is most likely getting ready for dinner." Answered Niki.

It only took them a few more minutes to finally reach the castle. The place they call their home and comfort.

"Welcome back, our dear princes." Servants greeted them, the boys smiled. Sunoo turned to one of the servants to ask a question.

"Is Jungwon here?" He asked and the servant nod their head; "yes, my highness. He is in the garden."

Sunoo thanked the servants before Niki started walking to the garden.

It was a perfect day; the weather was good, flowers were blooming, it was not humid like other days.

Sunoo followed behind Niki, only to see him stop his tracks in front of the garden's entrance.

Sunoo noticed the surprised look on his face. His wide eyes that looks delighted. Such an innocent face for a boy like him.

Although, Sunoo found it quite adorable- he was stunned to see Ava with Jungwon. Her soft smile shown at the other as a purple butterfly flew past them.

The butterfly continued to fly, this time, towards Niki and Sunoo. Ava and Jungwon followed the butterfly and finally saw the two young ones.

Jungwon stared in shocked, even if he expected them to come back sooner. While Ava only waved her hand at the princes.

"Hello, Sunoo and Niki~ how was your trip back here?" She tilted her head.

"I thought you are in your kingdom." Asked Niki before he takes a seat beside her, Sunoo followed.

"Is it safe to say that I ran away? I will not be going to the dinner tonight." Sunoo lets out a loud gasp at the news.

He clapped his hands. He expressed bliss, instead of pity for her choice. Ava did not obey her father and Sunoo felt proud.

"That's amazing! Now, for the time being, we will keep your stay in Kingdom Connect a secret!" Sunoo's eyes gleamed.

"Let's also play a quick game. Kingdom Connect has this game where you are supposed to find a flower of a certain kind." Niki gave her a daisy.

"An example is I'll say Rose and try to look for that-" he was cut off by Ava pointing at a rose bush.

"Found it?"
