Hey Loves,
The name is Akoto I'm an 18 year old upcoming singer and writer from Ghana-West Africa.As a child I grew up with a lot of problems that pushed me towards finding solace in art.It started out as an escape but later became what kept me alive.I enjoy reading,writing listening and creating music,meeting cool people but most importantly I take pride in impacting on people lives positively, bringing joy and happiness to others.

I first had this idea about creating The Rants Column when I was going through some tough times in my life
and I felt like I was on the verge of breaking literally,I wanted to be able to speak up and be free but I couldn't because I was scared of what people would say to me and about me,I was so scared that I let that fear shut me up and finally break me down.
It was hard and trust me it took me a lot of courage to get here so I'm proud of myself that I'm here now to write about topics that are tugging at my heart.
I am not alone though I am doing this hand in hand with some of the most amazing writers and lovely people I've ever met,together we are going to speak because it's our time to break FREE.
