Beauty Insecurities

Beauty insecurities
insecurity: the anxiety you experience when you feel vulnerable and insecure.
**_Some things we are insecure about_**
•Body image: This is the most intense insecurity as social media has developed it's kind of beauty standard.
Some people starve themselves as a *diet* to attain their goal of a perfect body, other's go into surgery. There are a lot of things people are willing to sacrifice just to fit whatever beauty standards of social media and it's really toxic.
Love your body, if you desperately want to get fit, have a workout plan don't starve yourself.
•Birthmark: Some peculiar mark or blemish on the body at birth.
Some people are insecure about their birthmarks which is really weird because birthmarks are also known as *beauty spots*. They make someone more attractive and unique. Don't think that that beauty mark on your face, neck, arms, legs, etc destroys your beauty. In any case, it enhances it. This also goes for freckles, Accept your spots.
•Comparing yourself to others: I get that sometimes it's difficult not to compare yourself with a person that is deemed physically attractive.
It's almost like you're trying to find out what's wrong with you compared to others. I'm here to tell you what's wrong with you. Nothing, absolutely nothing. It's almost natural to do this but it doesn't mean bring yourself down. Focus on what you like most about yourself, it may be your eyes, nose, eyebrows, etc it really helps to do this.
•Skin:
People are insecure of their skin, the colour, the texture, the scars, etc. That insecurity shouldn't really be something as there are many ways to cope with oily skin, dry skin, etc. There are many ways to also deal with acne, acne scars and personal scars but sometimes it's better to leave them, after all they tell stories. The colour of your skin shouldn't be an insecure. If you're back, be proud of it. If you're white, be proud. If you're mixed, be proud. I know there are a lot of people who critize or talk negativity about your race, that doesn't mean change. Show them you're proud of your colour and nothing is gonna change that.
Height: (of a standing person) the distance from head to foot.
I am a bit insecure about my height. I know I'm not really short but I am almost the *shortest* in my class and it sucks but I've come to my own conclusion. If I naturally become taller, so be it but if I don't I'm accepting it anyways. It doesn't hurt to be short.
Face: That part of the head, esp. of man, in which the eyes, cheeks, nose, and mouth are situated.
Your face is unique and you're beautiful for accepting it. If you haven't, look at yourself in the mirror. I mean REALLY look at yourself in the mirror. Don't focus on your flaws, focus on your positive traits, let it be your eyes, eyebrows, eyelashes, cheeks, lips, girl, you're beautiful. I need to let you know you are.
Love and care for your body, you don't get one everyday.
Be content with yourself. Everything about you and don't change to *please* society, don't change for that guy you think is special. Because if he was the one, he'd love you for you personality not what you look like.
You're beautiful, inside and out, dawn to dusk and from your head to your toes. Know that.
