Teaching wasn't fine... Principal?

"Okay Faun. Have fun in school." Leon told the kid as he hopped out of the vehicle without even much of a wave.

He was probably still mad because Stuart made it a rule for him to be in his room the second the clocks hits 9. He hadn't intended to make the kid mad but he needed to clear the room so he and Leon could have a good talk. Stuart was just happy when he saw Mariam fast asleep and was glad when Leon took it in himself to take her to bed.

Stuart frowned at him from the passenger's window before glancing back at Leon. He had only a busted nose, but it did nothing to dishevel the beautiful man that he was. Stuart didn't have to be gay to admit it. Leon was handsome with his slightly short brown hair which he combed back but still kept falling over his face. His grey eyes that were ever so cloudy with emotions.

Stuart might be a total piss party but no one needed to tell him Leon was also trying to hold back his anger. Especially when they read their first task. Stuart had been surprised when Leon actually leaned closer to kiss him. And then, out of reflex, he punched him on the nose.

He hadn't meant to do that because anytime someone had been that close to him, it was to shout at him or play pranks at him. Old habits die hard.

"Can you please remove that bloody rule you put up? The last thing I need is the kids mad," Leon begged, looking at him from where he rested his head on the steering.

"He already is," Stuart huffed, finally looking away from the man when he felt the guilt rise up again.

Leon sighed and said, "So Principal? Is that a step up from what you were? I wanted to ask before you decided to ditch after breaking my nose."

"You wanted to kiss me." Stuart frowned at him.

Raising his hands in surrender, Leon chuckled lightly as he lifted himself to rest his back on the seat. "Yes, I admit. I did want to kiss you. I haven't kissed anyone except my wife in a long while now."

His brows furrowed in confusion. "You have a wife?"

The small light in Leon's eye died and Stuart wondered if he had struck a nerve. "No. She's dead."

Stuart immediately felt bad for being such a pain to the poor guy. He licked his lips and decided not to press further as he said, "Teacher."

"What?"

"I was a teacher before. Now, I run the bloody school. This is crazy." He sighed in exasperation. He looked out the window when he heard the bell ring and cursed when he remembered the things he had to do written on the information paper. "I should go."

He started for the handle when Leon stopped him saying, "I'll need money for gas."

Stuart froze, irritation building up slightly at what he was trying to say. Money meant make-out. He looked back at the man and said, "Aren't you just going to work?"

"I'm going to ask for a two days break. I'm actually going out to buy groceries and anything to make that kitchen not look empty. Don't worry, I made a list."

Stuart wanted to scream. He didn't want this at all. Why didn't this 'The Gay Project' or whatever pick someone else? Someone who wasn't him? Swallowing his anger, he turned to Leon who immediately inched closer to him, his face so close to his that his heart quickly skipped a beat.

"Can I kiss you?" He breathed against his face and Stuart instantly felt his cheeks warm up.

He could just punch him again and blame it on reflex but god knew that wasn't the case now. His chest was running miles and when Leon slowly pressed his lips to his, he gasped.

Leon moved his lips against his and Stuart eyes closed when he slipped his tongue into his mouth. A moan escaped Stuart when Leon reached out to cup his face. There was something about the way Leon kissed him that had him worried. It could be the way he did it so passionately and yet so softly as if they were really in love. Stuart hated the fact that he was reacting to it. Pushing his focus from how good the kiss made him feel, he counted the seconds until it was one minute before pulling away.

Leon still had his hand on his cheeks and he stroked it as he stared into his eyes making Stuart feel suddenly self-conscious.

"I'll pick you and Faun later. I plan on making a big meal for the family."

Stuart was too distracted by the callous hand that he almost didn't hear him. "You cook?" When Leon nodded with a grin Stuart frowned at how nice he looked with that goofy grin on his face. He slapped his hand away then turned to the door, opening it. "I hate surprises."

Taking his suitcase from the back seat, Stuart slammed the door shut and tried not to look back as he walked to the school. He only did when he was safely behind the school's automatic doors, but by then, Leon was already gone.

The school was quite big. It had from grade 7 to 12 where the 10th to 12th grade students shared the first floor with him while the 7th to 9th grade students stayed on the second floor. Stuart took a tour when everyone had class to get established with his environment. The school was complete with four labs, an art room, a cafeteria, a huge library and an auditorium which was in the basement with the basketball court. Outside, there was a track and field complete with blenchers and whatnot.

Returning back to his office, he went back to declining every petition made to open a swimming pool even if they had lots of space for it. Stuart just found it fun to play bad principal.

As he busied himself with work, he tried to make his mind focus on the work at hand but all he could think of was the touch of Leon's lips on his. They were so thin and yet so soft. He hated to admit it but he actually wanted to feel them again.

A knock came from the door and that managed to knock him out of his indecent thought. He cleared his throat to get his orientation back then told the person to come in.

A woman came in her cooperate outfit since the teachers had a dress code of Cooperate Tuesday and Casual Friday. Stuart knew who she was the second she came in. From the information paper The Gay Project had given him, she was his best friend and they talked about everything together.

Stuart wasn't sure why they would give him a woman as his best friend but hey, he's supposed to be gay. Better go along with the stereotype.

"Michaela, what a lovely surprise." He didn't stand up to great her, just smiled at her from his seat.

Michaela Ross just rolled her eyes as she came to sit on his desk. Her skirt hiked up, showing a good view of her thigh and she looked down at him, her cleavage up in his face. The Gay Project seemed to have forgotten slutty in her profile. In fact, they hardly described her. Just slapped her picture there and called her VP. They must have known he hated surprises or it wouldn't be coming this often.

"So, up for one hour with me or you would rather be playing bad guy?" She said, biting her lips as she twirled her red hair.

Stuart didn't know how to respond. Were The Gay Project org testing him or his character really did cheat on Leon? Just the thought of it made him hate his character more.

"I would rather play bad guy. Cheaters are losers." A saying he had been saying to himself for over two years now.

Michaela chuckled, sliding off the desk to flop down on the seat in front of it. "Like you would ever want to cheat on little o' Leon. He is your everything." She said then pouted.

"Michaela, I have work." He said dismissively and went back to filing whatever he could.

"And I have a husband that is cheating on me." She argued, buttoning up her shirt to hide her cleavage then giving him this sad eyes that he immediately fell for. Then she continued, "And do you know the worst part? He comes home and tells me it's just work. Why would he lie right to my face?"

"Because he doesn't want to lose you." Stuart answered. He didn't know why he was telling this woman anything. Maybe it was the fact she looked easy to talk to and maybe it was because he was once in her situation. "I think I've forgotten but do you have kids?"

Michaela looked at him as if he had lost his mind. "Kids? Stuart, you should know me better, I hate kids. Yes, I work in a school where there are tons of them but I need the money. But how would you know I hate kids, you never listen to me."

"I do."

"You don't." She shook her head as she crossed her legs over the other. "If you did, you wouldn't have two kids right now. How are they anyway?"

Stuart smiled when he realized the similarity between the both of them. She really didn't care about his kid. She only asked about them for the sake of their friendship and out of curtesy.

Standing up to place the files in the cabinet, he answered, "How about I spare you that detail and we go out for drinks later?"

"Oh." She whistled, clearly excited about that. "Is Leon coming? I love when he hangs out with us."

He turned to look back at Michaela and frowned, a weird feeling settling in the pits of his stomach. "Am I supposed to say something in response to that?"

"Normally, you'll say no because I always paw all over your man, but since it seems like you don't remember stuffs, I'll lie and say yes. The four of us drink out a lot."

Stuart frowned in response. Michaela was catching onto him and he didn't know how to cover up especially now when he couldn't even guess who the fourth person was. Scratching the back of his neck, he came in front of Michaela and smiled, "How about the two of us just drink out instead. Let's it be girls night since we'll only be talk about you."

Michaela's eyes narrowed suspiciously at that but Stuart didn't let it get to him as he stared back at her.

"Okay. Fine, but we are going to that bloody strip club you promised."

"I didn't promise such a thing." He screwed his face up in disgust and the woman laughed, leaning back on the chair and giving him a smug smile.

"Yeah. You are definitely my Stuart."
