Chapter two: Revive

Rain tapped again on the roof of the store. Very few customers had come to the shop where (y/n) worked. She sat at the window, looking outside to see who or what passed by. Silver eyes watched humans walk by and a few curses wander about. Sors climbed up next to her and sat by her, watching the world outside as well. "Does that dream still bother you?," the feline like curse asked. "A little, I am just wondering what it means.," the young woman replied and placed her deathly pale hand on the bony back of the special grade curse, "This son I am supposed to have in it, who is he?" "We know he is not her son. This son is yours.," The feline like curse spoke, "We don't know if he is just a figment of your imagination or a real being that your curse ability allowed you to have." "If he is real... I want to see him. He's my son, after all.," the young woman replied and patted the curse.
"(Y/n), could you make some tea?," the voice of granny spoke with a cheery tone, "I think some customers that will come in would want to be warmed up." "Oh, of course granny.," the young woman replied and got up from her place in the window. She filled the large pot with water and heated it up with a curse technique. Her eyes looked at the bubbling water. How long had it been since she first got her curse ability? Three years? Five? Nine? It felt like she always had this power.

The water got hot enough and she put the tea in the pot. The color seeped from the leave into the water in the pot. The sudden jingle of the store bell made (y/n) tear her attention away from the tea. She walked to the storefront and saw a man with white hair standing there, looking at the baked goods. He was wearing a causal outfit and dark sunglasses that covered his eyes. A very handsome man. He was smiling as he looked at the baked goods. "Gojo, what brings you here?," The young woman asked and the man who turned to her. His smile widened, "Yo. I got done with an assignment the higher ups sent me on. I was in the area and decided to come visit." "That's it? I thought mischief brought you here.," (y/n) chuckled, "Want some tea while we talk? I just put some on." "Tea sounds good. I'll have some of these as well.," Gojo replied and picked up some sweets, "Granny, ring me up."
(Y/n) got the tea pot and set up a table for her and Gojo to talk at in the back. She poured cups of tea for both of them and added some sugar to each. Gojo sat at the table across from her. "You know about Sukuna's vessel, correct?," the white haired man asked. The silvery blue haired woman nodded, "I do. I want to meet him to be honest." "Well, I'll allow you to. You might be able to teach him as someone else who was in a similar situation years ago.," the man replied and took a sip of tea, "I think you'd like him." "I saw you four at the school. Your students are quite adorable.," the young woman smiled, "If you aren't careful, I might just adopt them." This comment caused the white haired man to laugh a bit. Gojo leaned in and looked over the sunglasses to the woman in front of him, his beautiful blue eyes peeked over the frames. "How about you can meet him tomorrow? He's supposed to be getting back from a mission.," the man asked. "I'd love to!," the young woman cheered. She was looking forward to it.

(Y/n) could hardly sleep from the excitement she felt of meeting Yuji, she got up the next morning and put on a cute outfit before making her way to the school where she met Gojo. He had his usual uniform on and the signature blindfold on. "Gojo, I am here!," she announced. The man turned to her, "Hey there. Bring it in.," the white haired man opened his arms. He immediately got a tight squeeze from the young woman. He patted her hair that was tied back by talismans. She stopped squeezing, "Gojo... is that a snack pack in your pocket, or are you happy to see me?" (Y/n) looked up to the man's grinning face with a little smile of her own. Gojo's grin got wider and took a packet of snacks out of his pocket and pulled one out to eat before tilting the pack to the young woman, "Want one?" (Y/n) took one of the snacks out of the pack and popped it into her mouth, "Wow, the chocolate cream is sweet and smooth. But the bitterness of the chocolate evens the flavor out nicely."
"Right? Probably the best decision to bring these today.," Gojo chuckled to himself as he walked in with the young woman right beside him. They rounded a corner and was met with Ijichi. The assistant man had a disappointed and worried look on his face. "Satoru Gojo, I'm sorry. I have bad news.," the man said in a saddened tone and bowed, "I regret to inform you that your student, Yuji Itadori, is dead." A cold air washed over the formerly warm emotions that had been there. A sense of despair gripped (y/n). The curse energy inside her flared up, but was contained by the talismans that covered the woman.

Ijichi led the two to the morgue. The pale body of the teen lay on the table. A white sheet covered him. (Y/n) walked up to him and reached her hand out while Gojo and Ijichi talked. She pulled back in hesitation before taking the sheet off of his face. Pinkish red hair fluffed up. Looking at this face hurt (y/n). "He's so young. His life was ahead of him.," the silvery blue haired woman spoke and looked to Gojo and Ijichi, "What happened?" "The higher ups. They sent my students in as a way to kill Yuji. They took advantage of my absence to pull this crap, especially since I was the one who put his execution on hold.," Gojo explained, "They even put the other two in danger by doing this. If they died, it would be even worse for me." The silver haired woman looked at Yuji's body and took his hand, it was cold.
"Nobody expected it to be a special grade when the dispatch was issued!," Ijichi hurriedly spoke. 'Not so sure about that.,' (y/n) thought to herself and turned her attention to the teen on the table, 'He's so cute. I wish I could have gotten to know him.' She felt a spark, a small spark of something from inside of Yuji's body. She laid her head over his chest to listen for anything. There was a faint sound. Like water splashing. 'What is that?,' the young woman asked herself, 'I feel something in him. Is this Sukuna?'

Gojo's anger at the higher ups was palpable. "You know what, I may as well just kill them.," the white haired man growled. Ijichi jumped back from this sudden hostility. The door opened to have the doctor, Shoko Ieiri, step in. The gloomy doctor looked to Gojo, "You are not usually this emotional, you must really care about this one." The woman doctor raised her hand to her brunette hair and spun a lock around her finger. "I've always been a nice guy who cares for his students.," Gojo replied and put his finger up. Ieiri looked to the young woman with her head on the corpse of the deceased student, "I see you brought her." The doctor turned her head back to Gojo, "Don't torment Ijichi too much, he is stuck in a rough place between us and the higher ups." "Don't care.," the blindfolded man retorted, "(y/n), Move so Ieiri can see what she is dealing with."
"We already know what she is dealing with. A boy whose life was unjustly torn from this world.," (y/n) sighed and rose her head from Yuji's chest, "The true tragedy is that this will be written off as an accident then what it really is. Murder." "Settle down, we don't want your curse energy to attract anything, (y/n).," the brunette woman said and walked to look at Yuji. The pale woman looked at the teen and sat on the steel bench in the corner. Gojo sat beside her to keep out of the doctor's way.  The young woman held her hand over her mouth. Her other hand was held over her stomach. She could hear the three, but did not pay attention to the conversation. Not until she saw the fingers of the boy twitch and the body rise.

The young man's movements were a bit sleepy at first, yet he quickly woke up. "Whoah, I'm completely naked!," Yuji exclaimed. Ijichi was freaking out over the dead boy coming back to life. Gojo did not seem that worried, almost like he was somewhat expecting this. (Y/n) lowered her hand from her mouth to her chest, "Thank goodness!" Yuji was understandably confused by his surroundings and the brunette woman looking down at him. Gojo got up and walked over to his student. He held his hand out to Yuji, "Welcome back." "Great to be back!," Yuji grinned and slapped the hand held out to him. 'He acts as cute as he looks!', (y/n) thought and walked up. She gave Yuji a tight embrace with no warning. The teen was a bit surprised by this woman hugging him, "Who are you?" The silvery haired young woman let go and stepped back. Gojo motioned to her, "Yuji, this is another curse vessel, (y/n). (Y/n), this is Yuji Itadori." "You're so adorable, If I could, I'd take you in a heartbeat!," the young woman exclaimed.
Ieiri gave Yuji some spare clothes to put on and motioned Gojo to follow. (Y/n) and Ijichi were left behind to keep Yuji company. The teen excitedly put on the clothes he was given and talked about how surprised his friends would be. The silver eyed woman smiled, "I bet they will be." The bowl cut man was still in disbelief at what he saw.

"Hey, (y/n)-san. You are a vessel as well? What kind of curse do you have?," the teen asked. "She used to be human, same as Sukuna. But she became a curse after her death. In fact, I was rescued by her. She came to me in my most dire time of need, to give me the help she never got.," the young woman answered, "I'm grateful." "She really doesn't sound like a curse.," Yuji commented. (Y/n) smiled, "The side effects of being her vessel are kind of annoying though, I tend to attract curses." Yuji listened, "oh, Are you okay though? Curses are dangerous!" "I am fine. I can handle myself.," the young woman smiled. Yuji and (y/n) talked more about their interests and life before Gojo came back to take Itadori away for training. "See ya, (y/n)-san.," Yuji said with a wave. "Goodbye, Yuji.," came the response, "Come by Granny's shop one day, you can meet some of my harmless curses. We can have tea and talk more."
"Sounds fun!," Yuji smiled and followed Gojo away. She waited until he was gone before falling into the bench, "Man he was so cute." Ijichi sighed, "That is not good for my heart." "Oh yeah. How is the pollen puff doing?," (y/n) asked. The man in the bowl cut looked at the silver haired woman, "He is doing well, I keep him in my office and take him home. Thank you for giving him to me." "Can I come see him?," (y/n) asked. "Of course, we can go see him and then I can take you back to the store.," Ijichi said happily. The man showed the woman to his office and to where the little furry ball curse was sitting on the desk, dozing in the sun. (Y/n) touched the fur of the little puff, "He is in very good condition, you even brushed his fur."

"Good grooming is essential to health.," The man replied, "and he likes to be brushed. He makes little happy noises when I brush him." "I'm glad, Ijichi. You are a very reliable and diligent.," the young woman smiled, "And I know he is happy with you. You are in a very stressful situation, but you do your job well. What happened was not your fault. You are a good man." Ijichi seemed really happy to get that praise. He did not get the praise he needed. After visiting the pollen puff curse, Ijichi took the silvery haired woman home. During the ride, she saw curses of all shapes and sizes hiding among the people and buildings. But, she felt like there was something off. There was something there. But what was it?
