Izuku was on his way to the match when he had run into Endeavor. So right now, they were standing face to face as Izuku glared at him.

"Izuku Midoriya right?" he asked as he held his glare.

"Yes, Endeavor," Izuku said with venom in his voice.

"Listen... I want you to make Shoto make use of his fire," Endeavor said with his arms crossed as he closed his eyes.

"And why would I do that?" 

"... I've made a lot of mistakes in my life. Of course, I'm not talking about him, rather about the things I've done to my family. And now one of them is coming in the way of him becoming a hero. I don't want him to become like me, and right now he's obsessed with proving me wrong. I want him to get rid of that obsession, and become free," said Endeavor with a sigh as Izuku's face showed a look of surprise. He really didn't expect this from Endeavor. 

"He'll use his fire, we've talked about that, and not because you want him to, but because he's my friend and I help all my friends. But I suggest you start making things right since you've fucked up pretty badly Endeavor," Izuku said walking away.

"Clean up your language kid. Though your outburst is justified," Endeavor said walking away.

'You've made nice friends Shoto. I promise I'll make things right.'

It was finally the time for Izuku vs Shoto.

Both were currently standing in front of each other as Izuku got ready to fight. He was sure that this time would come. He would either have to fight him or Bakugo, and both were really strong enemies. 

Kaminari would have been an extremely strong enemy had he got a little more control on his quirk. But he did not, so Izuku had used all his fights to get to this point. 

The Black Flash, the constant analysis of the fights, taking enough time to rest, all because of the fight in the final. This would be extremely big for him.

"START!" yelled Midnight, and as soon as she said that Shoto sent a large blast of ice towards him. However, Izuku was ready for that as he used a 60% Delaware smash to destroy the ice.

"Heh, I expected you to be great. Since you helped me so much, I'd like to honor you by using my fire for the first time against you," said Shoto as he let out a large blast of fire towards him.

Izuku dodged it at the last moment going right as Shoto till had trouble controlling his left side.

'Whoa! Changing directions with this is difficult,' thought Shoto as Izuku waited for his finger to heal while using his other finger to send a small Cursed energy blast which Shoto blocked using ice.

(In case you're wondering, those blasts, at least in this book are molecules of air charged with cursed energy, so they are as visible as Izuku's Delaware smash Air force)

The ice was destroyed instantly as Izuku came to a stop and rushed towards Shoto. However, Shoto was ready as he lifted his hand to send a blast of ice at Izuku.

Izuku being Izuku just destroyed it while waiting for a single moment.

'His overheating is countered by his cold side and the effects of cold are countered by hot side. However, that still leaves him physically strained. I need him to stop for a breath and use that time to close in and land a hit,' thought Izuku as he charged up a fist full of cursed energy.

'Here it comes...' thought Izuku as another wave of ice came towards him. 

'Alright...' thought Izuku dodging sideways as Shoto stopped, looking around with slight pants.

"HERE I COME!" yelled Izuku charging the safe 7% OfA and all his Cursed Energy into his right hand.

Shoto's eyes widened as he quickly made a big wall of ice.

"BLACK FLASH!" yelled Izuku as the wall was utterly demolished and the shockwaves sent Shoto almost out of the arena.

However,  Shoto was able to stabilize himself using his ice.

However... Shoto had lost the match already.

'It's a good thing I'm now in the 'zone' Steve told me about,' thought Izuku as he sped around the ice trying to get close in on Shoto.

"It doesn't matter whether you land the Black Flash with a fluke or not. Once you do, you temporarily enter a state that the athletes call the 'Zone'. The control of Cursed Energy which usually takes a lot of thought unless you've trained a lot becomes natural, as natural as breathing. There is a sense of Omnipotence, like everything revolves around you. That is the best advantage this move grants you."

And it was indeed a good advantage.

Shoto looked around him, only to hear multiple whooshes as he built another Ice wall which got shattered.

The next moment he felt something behind him as he jumped forward while turning to come face to face with Izuku whose face had black tattoo-like marks.

'what is that! Looks cool though,' thought Shoto as he lit his left side on fire completely blasting Izuku with it. In the process, however, both had their shirts burned.

"Heh. I guess we should get rid of whatever's left," said Izuku as Shoto chuckled for the first time.

"Did he just chuckle?" asked Mina, surprised as Kaminari and Ichigo looked at him interested.

"He's another victim of Deku's friendship," muttered Bakugo as others looked at him.

"I agree Midoriya, it'll just come in the way," Shoto said as Izuku smiled.

"Just Izuku or Deku is fine. After all, you're family."

Shoto's eyes widened for a moment as he then closed his eyes and smiled.

"Right," he said as Izuku tore his shirt, which was more like rags now.

Now the girls were going wild. And some boys too.

"WOULD YOU LOOK AT THAT! THEY'RE PULLING GIRLS LEFT AND RIGHT!" yelled Mic on the mic as Aizawa facepalmed. 

As for Momo and Ochako, both were blushing as Ochako remembered the previous events and had a huge nosebleed.

"URARAKA ARE YOU FINE!" yelled Mina worried.

"Y-yeah," she said holding her nose.

"Let's go," Izuku said as he rushed to Shoto who tried to make a wall, but Izuku got past that.

"Train to make complex structured with it," said Izuku as he tried to go near him only for the fire to block him.

He just jumped back as he put his 10 fingers forwards sending cursed energy blasts at Shoto who dodged seven of them.

'AAH! What is he doing? It isn't as strong as his Delaware smash, but it's still pretty strong,' Shoto thought as he made a kind of a spear and threw it on Izuku only for him to dodge by jumping in the air.

'In the air, it is possible to dodge, but not easy,' Shoto thought as he sent a huge fireblast at him, which as he predicted hit Izuku.

Izuku fell just by the edge of the arena, with a few first-degree burns.

'It's a good thing cursed energy also protects me or I would have been a toast!'

"I think it's time to end this, isn't it Midoriya?" asked Shoto with a smile as Izuku too smirked.

"You bet," he replied.

"One shot..." both said together as they started to build up their powers.

Shoto also sent a large amount of Ice at Izuku, who dodged it and at the last moment shot towards him.

'This is it, 100%.'

"THEY'LL KILL EACH OTHER!" yelled Cementoss as Midnight ripped her sleeves to release her quirk while Cementoss made walls in between them. However, all this was nothing as both collided, Shoto's hand engulfed in flame and Izuku using 100% One for All and Cursed Energy.

The resulting collision was big enough to send everyone back into their seats almost buried and causing a deafening noise.
