"She vanished," Naruto said as Kakashi slowly moved in front of his genin

"Sensei?" Sakura asked

"She'll come after me first," Kakashi said as he looked around

"But, who is she?" Sakura said

"Zabu Momochi, ex-leader of the Kiri Assassination Unit, and master of the Silent Killing Technique," Kakashi replied

"S-Silent?" Naruto asked

"Yeah, happens without warning or sound of any kind. Once you see her, you're already dead," Lincoln explained

"Yes, even the Sharingan can't fully neutralize it," Kakashi commented

"So that means you three better not lower your guard or else," Luna said she looked around

"Well if we fail we'll only lose our lives," Kakashi deadpanned

"Wow, and I thought my jokes were dark," Luan said

"How can you say that?" Sakura asked as she tightened her grip on the kunai she was holding. As they stood there, the mist started to get thicker and thicker until they could barely see "Whoa, this mist just gets thicker and thicker!" Naruto said as he eyed his surroundings

"And it'll only get thicker, the more water this jutsu has the more difficult it'll be to see," Lincoln said as he started making weird clicking noises. Luna and Luan soon started doing it as Kakashi asked: "What are you three doing?" but when the three turned to look at him, he was gone

"Well, that's just great," Luna said as she and Luan backed into each other

"Good to know that you have my back," Luan said

"Was that a pun or do you really mean it?"

"Where's the fun in telling you now?" Luan replied as they continued to click

"8 points," a female voice said out from the mist

"What was that?" Sakura asked

"Larix, Spine, Lungs, Liver, Jugular, Subclavian Ardary, Kidneys, Heart, now which one will be my attack point?" Zabu said from the mist as clicking could still be heard

"This is getting annoying," Sasuke mumbled under his breath as suddenly the mist vanished and Kakashi stood in front of him. Sasuke stood there with fear in his eyes as Lincoln, Luna, and Luan could feel killing intent coming off of him. Sasuke was about to stab himself when Lincoln put a hand on his arm "Calm down, we'll protect you with our life," Lincoln said

"B-but why? Y-you're not even from our village," Sasuke asked

"We may not be from the same village, but it's the right thing to do," Lincoln replied

"You've must've been raised well," Kakashi said

"Guess I was for the first 11 years of my life," Lincoln said with a sigh

"It's good to know that you're willing to put your lives out for my genin, if we make it out alive I would like to repay you," Kakashi stated

"Think nothing of it, dude! Beside's, we can't just leave an old man and three kids alone by themselves when this gal is out here," Luna said

"Thank-you, really, but I will say this... I will not allow any of my comrades to die," Kakashi said with fire in his heart as he turned his head with eye-smiles "trust me,"

"I wouldn't be so sure," Zabu said as she suddenly appeared in front of Tazuna. Kakashi opened his eyes just as Zabu was about to slice Tazuna in two, but the furthest she got was a whole foot away from his body "W-what? I-I can't move!" she said

"Gotcha," Luan said as her hands were out

"W-what did you do?!" Zabu demanded as the sun peeked through the clouds and shined down on some string

"Did you really think it would be that easy to slip by us?" Luna said with a smirk

"We weren't just making noises, we were using echolocation," Lincoln commented

"Echolocation?" Kakashi asked

"Many times we've had our sight taken away from us. So we had to find other ways of fighting our target without," Luan said as she moved her hands and fingers, causing Zabu to lower her sword

"So while you were off hiding in the trees, the one 3 feet away from me to be exact, Luan here put up a small cage of string in the space between Naruto, Sasuke, Sakura, and Tazuna," Lincoln stated madder of factly as he put his hand on a tree

"So you knew where I was?!" Zabu said in surprise

"The whole time," Luna said as she crossed her arms

"Bye-bye," Luan said as she pulled back, causing the strings to slice Zabu in many places. As she fell to the ground, to everyone's surprise, she turned into water! Lincoln then felt something off as he turned around and saw Zabu there with her sword raised. She swung downward as Lincoln was cut in two "LINCOLN!" his sisters shouted as suddenly he poofed into smoke and a large boom blasted Zabu into a tree

"W-what was that?" Zabu said as she felt pressure on her chest

"My, my, you really are a tough one. I actually had to use a Sound Clone to escape that one, you caught me off guard!" Lincoln said with a grin as he had a foot on her chest. Everyone stared in awe as Lincoln seemingly had beaten Zabu "Alright, way to go Lincoln!" Naruto shouted as he said person pushed down harder

"Listen here, sweetheart, I'm afraid we're going to have to cut this short... so see you in hell?" Lincoln said as Zabu started to chuckle

"Hehehehe, you really think you've beaten me? Please, I've seen better scare tactics done by rabbits," Zabu said as Lincoln raised an eye-brow

"Oh really? Like the one Naruto almost skewered?" Lincoln replied as Zabu glared

"Tch, sure, why not? But I will admit you're full of surprises, I'm actually surprised someone like you hasn't shown up in anyone's Bingo Book," she said

"Thank's for the compliment, you're actually a pretty nice woman once you get talking," Lincoln said with a smile as her eye's widened

"W-what?" she said as the pressure on her chest became heavier

"But I'm sorry for what's to come next, truly I am," Lincoln said with a sorrowful look in his eyes that didn't go unnoticed by her. Lincoln then pushed down on his foot as it went through her rib-cage and through the tree behind her. Her eyes went wide as she raised her arms to her chest with shock as Lincoln could only look in sadness. But he suddenly got water on his leg as Zabu turned into water, again! Lincoln pulled his leg out of the tree as she appeared behind Kakashi now. He raced toward them as Zabu had her sword ready for an upward strike, but Kakashi turned his head in time to see it coming and ducked. The sword whizzed past Kakashi as it buried itself into the ground, missing him. But it wasn't over as Zabu used the momentum to swing the sword, hopped on the handle using on hand, and round-house kicked Kakashi in the chest, sending him into the air. She pulled her sword out of the ground as she sped toward him and tried to continue her assault, but she stopped short once she noticed metal spikes on the ground. Kakashi was sent into the lake as Naruto shouted: "SENSEI!"

"She has great physical skill too," Sasuke said as Kakashi rose from the water. He was soaking wet as Zabu appeared behind him "Since I can't take him on, I guess I'll have to settle with getting rid of you," she said as Kakashi looked behind him and saw that she was doing hand-signs "Water Prison Justu!" she stated when she was done

"No!" Kakashi shouted as he was enveloped in an orb of water. Zabu had a hand in the orb as she looked down at him "This prison is made of water, sure, but it's stronger than steel. So much for the great Kakashi, I think I'll just keep you there until you drown and make your students watch helplessly as you die," Zabu stated as she turned to them "but I'm feeling merciful today, so I'll just kill them and be done with it, Water Clone Jutsu!" she continued to say as 4 clones appeared arose from the water. The 4 clones started down Luna, Lincoln, Luan, and Team 7 as their chuckles echoed through the mist. Naruto, Sasuke, and Sakura shook as the clones stood firm and said, in perfect synchronization: "You think wearing a headband makes you a ninja? When you've hovered between life and death so many times it doesn't faze you, then you may be called a ninja. When you've become so deadly that your profile is entered in my Bingo Book, then you may have earned the title 'Ninja'," as they formed half-ram signs in front of them and had mist roll back into the area "but to call you upstarts like you ninja is a joke!" as they disappeared into the mist.
