Naruto heard something. It was a slow beat, a thump, thump, thump, would be the best way he could describe it. He also felt something he's never felt before... a warmth like no other. It was a nice feeling, he didn't want it to end. He also felt his head rise and fall as he arms wrapped around something. For the first time in his life, he felt safe. He didn't know why, but he did. So when he opened his eyes, he saw that he had his arms wrapped around Luna. Her hand was going through his hair as Luna looked down at him "Morning, dude," Luna said with a smile as it took Naruto a few seconds realize what was happening

"GAH!" he screamed as he jumped off the bed and landed face-first into the floor

"You alright there, Naruto? You seem surprised to see me," Luna commented as Naruto rubbed his nose

"Of course I'm surprised to see you! I'm usually alone when I wake up and weren't you supposed to be on the couch?!" Naruto shouted as Luna shrugged

"I don't know, you tell me? Now, what do you got to eat? It's morning and I'm hungry," Luna asked as he got off his bed and walked out the bedroom door

"Jeez, let me get dressed first!" Naruto whispered as he closed the door. Luna was walking around looking at what Naruto had to eat as she opened some cupboards to find stacks of instant ramen. She sweatdropped as she opened the fridge to find some more instant ramen, expired milk, half-a-dozen eggs, and what looked to be tofu. She sighed as she grabbed the eggs and saw a loaf of bread on the counter "Eggs on toast it is," she whispered as she got cooking.

Later:

Naruto was locking up his home as Luna was stretching "Alright, I better go check up on the group. See ya later, Naruto," Luna said as she waved him goodbye

"Okay! See ya later, Luna!" Naruto replied as she vanished. Luna then reappeared at the place they where staying as she opened the door and caught a kunai "Hmph, I almost had you," said a voice as Luna looked over to see a woman with a slender frame and light brown, pupil-less eyes. She had violet hair in a short, spiky, fanned-ponytail. The woman wore a fitted mesh body suit that covers her from her neck down to her thighs. Over this, she wore a tan overcoat with a purple in-seam and a pocket on each side, a dark orange mini-skirt, a dark blue belt, and pale grey shin guards. In addition to the typical forehead protector, she also had a small pendant that looks like a snake fang and a wristwatch. Luna smirked as she tossed the kunai back and said: "Yeah, but I'm better. So where is everyone, Anko?"

"Lincoln took his brat to get her enrolled in school, Luan is kami knows where, and Zabu... she's getting the treatment for ex-ninja wanting to join the village," Anko replied after she caught the kunai and put it back into her pocket

"Huh, well I never thought bro would put her in the academy," Luna commented as she walked in

"The academy doesn't only act as a place for kids to become a ninja, it also houses some civilian classes too,"

"Oh yeah, no wonder Sakura managed to become a ninja with flower pressing as a skill," Luna said as she rolled her eyes "also, you've seen my wallet?"

"You've got a wallet?" Anko asked

"Yeah, not really one for purses, things act like bloody black holes," Luna replied as she walked upstairs with Anko behind her.

With Lincoln:

"Alright, so she can start tomorrow?" Lincoln asked the principal as he nodded

"Yes, just sign here and she starts the civilian classes for the next 3 years," he replied as Lincoln looked over the paper

"Let's see here, the student shall be respectful, blah, blah, blah, the student shall not bully other students, nag, nag, nag, and finally the academy is responsible for the safety of the student and if death shall occur for some reason the parent will be given all the support the academy and current Hokage shall give before the student graduates," Lincoln read to himself as he looked down at Hisako. Hisako had her hair in a braided pony-tail and wore a magenta shirt with a fitted mesh body suit underneath and blue jeans. Looking between the paper and her, Lincoln sighed as he signed the paper and gave it back to the man "Alright, Hisako-chan, I'll be seeing you tomorrow," replied the principal as she nodded

"Okay, do I get to read and write like the others?" Hisako asked as Lincoln smiled

"Yes, you get to read and write like the others... now how about you go and play outside? I've got some things to take care of before we go back to auntie-Anko's, okay?" Lincoln asked as Hisako was already out the door. Lincoln chuckled as he stood up and closed the door. Turning back to the man behind the desk, Lincoln unleashed a small amount of killing intent as she glared at the man "Now that she's out of the cross-fire, let's talk about the fine print of my contract, shall we?"

With Hisako:

Hisako was walking around outside when she heard "Hey you!" and turned around to see a boy a little bit older than her with short spiky brown hair, blue eyes, and a small chip in his tooth. He wore a Konoha headband, grey shorts, and a yellow shirt with a red Konoha symbol printed on it. Hisako looked around as she pointed her herself and asked: "Uhh, me?"

"Yeah, you! Can you help me out with something?" he asked

"Konohamaru, are you sure this is a good idea?" asked a girls voice as a girl with orange hair tied up, with red elastics, into two very large pigtails walked up behind him. She had the same goggles on her head as she wore a red tank-top over a pink t-shirt layered at the bottom; her pants are grey and she wears the traditional ninja sandals. The boy turned to her and said: "We need a fourth person and she's the only one I've seen, Moegi!"

"That doesn't make sense!" Moegi replied

"Well she's small, so she's perfect!" Konohamaru replied as Hisako pouted

"I'm not small! I just haven't grown up yet!" Hisako shouted

"Whoa, easy, I'm sure he's not insulting you," said another voice as another boy walked up behind Moegi and Konohamaru. He had goggles like the others and short brown hair. He had a drip of snot hanging from his nose and circular glasses. He wore a simple blue shirt which zipped up the middle, a pair of brown pants, and standard ninja sandals. Konohamaru turned to him and said: "Udon, took you long enough to get here! Did you get it?!" as Udon pulled out a box

"Yeah, I go it, so how is this supposed to help us?" Udon asked as Konohamaru grabbed it

"Perfect! Now follow me!" Konohamaru shouted as he ran off

"KONOHAMARU! WAIT UP!" Moegi shouted as she chased after him

"Sorry about that, Konohamaru isn't usually like this. Name's Udon," Udon said as he introduced himself

"Oh, Hisako, Hisako Loud," Hisako replied

"Uh, well, you wanna help us? You don't have to if you don't want to,"

"No, it's fine! Papa said I can play while he talks to the academy man,"

"Okay, let's get going!" Udon said as they chased after Konohamaru and his rock-painted box.

Later:

Hisako was in the box with Moegi, Udon, and Konohamaru as they walked down the street "Alright, making a right here!" Konohamaru whispered as they turned

"What are we doing?" Hisako asked

"We're spying on the boss!" Konohamaru replied

"Who?"

"Boss! That's who, oh wait, stop! We're here!" Konohamaru said as they stopped

"Man, he's bossy," Hisako said

"You get used to it," Moegi replied as they suddenly walked up and stopped. This repeated a few more times before they started to run back and forth down the alleyway for the next few minutes. They stopped again when someone shouted "THAT'S THE WORST DUSGUE EVER! THERE'S NO SUCH THING AS SQUARE ROCKS!"

"You saw through my camouflage, again!" Konohamaru said, "you're slick boss, just what I expect from my greatest rival!" as the box suddenly exploded and colored smoke erupted from it. They four coughed as Konohamaru said: "I-I think we used too much gun powder,". They quickly stood up as the three posed while Hisako stood there with a raised brow "We are... THE KONOHAMARU SQUAD!" the three said as they stood across from... Naruto? Hisako smiled as she saw him and said: 'Hey, Naruto! What do you think of my friends?"

"Hisako? What are you doing here?" Naruto asked as Konohamaru and his 2 friends face-faulted

"H-how do you know the boss?!" Konohamaru asked as Naruto looked at them

"Hey, what are those things? They look like goggles,"

"You used to wear goggles, remember? So we're copying you!"

"Then why does it look like Hisako is left out?" Naruto asked as Konohamaru blushed

"W-well, t-there were only three,"

"*Sigh* Hisako, listen, don't get too close to these guys. It's all fun and games until the Chunin and Jonin show up... then it's a game of hide-and-seek!" Naruto commented with a smile until he was struck in the head

"YOU IDIOT! DON'T SAY THAT TO HER!" Sakura shouted as Naruto rubbed his head. Hisako looked at the two as Sakura looked down at her "Take some advice from me, get better friends. If they have any relation to Naruto-baka then it's going to involve trouble," Sakura said

"Oh yeah, well you're bound to get into trouble with a forehead that big!" Konohamaru shouted as Sakura glared at him and started to crack her knuckles

"Wanna repeat that, brat?" Sakura asked as rage filled the alleyway

"RUN!" Naruto shouted as they all followed behind him. As they ran, Konohamaru managed to get in front of them, but he soon bounced back and fell to the ground when someone said: "Do you need something?"
