"DODGE!" Luna shouted as she clotheslined Naruto into a nearby river. Standing there as Naruto swam to the top, Luna smirked as Naruto made it to shore and crawled on the ground "Y-you d-devil woman," Naruto said as he rolled onto his back. Naruto had a black eye, a busted lip, and a cut on his nose "Don't be like that, dude, the more you get beat the more you can take!" Luna said as she walked over "but I do think you could use a break, come on, let's go get you some of that Ramen you like,"

"REALLY?!" Naruto shouted as he sat up

"Of course," Luna replied with a smile as there was another splash. Naruto turned his head while Luna looked up and saw Sakura floating on the river "Luan!" Luna shouted as Luan appeared next to Sakura and picked her up

"What's the matter, sis?" Laun asked as she tossed Sakura over her shoulder

"You really have to restaurant, do you?"

"Waterever you talking about? HAHAHA!" Luan replied as Naruto and Luna groaned

"Okay, well Naruto and I are done for the day,"

"Me and Sakura too," Luan said as Sakura spat up some water

"Yeah, I think you better get her home,"

"Alrighty then, so water you guys going to do? HAHAHA!" Luan continued as Luna took a deep breath

"How do you deal with this?" Naruto asked as Luna helped Naruto to his feet

"You get used to it I guess," Luna replied as she and Naruto vanished in a low boom, leaving Luan and Sakura alone. Smiling, Luan looked at Sakura and started to pat her back. As she did so, Sakura continued to cough up water "Man, a little water log there, Sakura?"

Later:

Luna and Naruto appeared in front of a reman stand as Naruto stumbled a bit "Man, you gotta teach me that," Naruto said as he got his balance

"Maybe I will if you learn to DODGE!" Luna said as she shouted the last part as Naruto hit the deck and covered his head. Luna chuckled as she grabbed him by the collar of his wet jumpsuit jacket and set him in his feet "Hehehe, alright, so this the place?" Luna asked as Naruto looked at the sign and smiled

"Yeah! This is Ichiraku Ramen! This place is the best! Come on, I'm getting hungry, Dattebayo!" Naruto shouted as he dragged Luna into the establishment. Sitting in a seat next to Naruto as he banged on the table shouting "HEY OLD MAN! AYAME! I'M HUNGRY!" as Luna hit him over the head

"Don't shout! It's impolite," Luna said as Naruto rubbed the back of his head

"Ouch! Jeez, no need to hit me," Naruto replied as a slender girl with long, dark brown hair and large black eyes with fair skin walked out. She wore a white robe with the sleeves folded, a sort of dark blue apron with ribbon ties at the top and a bright white bandanna. She looked at Naruto and smiled "Well good to see you around, Naruto, how have you been?" she asked as Naruto smiled

"Been great! Got some training in today thanks to Luna over here... though-"

"You look like you've been through hell," the girl replied as Luna noticed how fast Naruto's injuries had healed

"Yeah, anywho, I'm hungry and I want my usual please!" Naruto asked as she chopped his head

"It's impolite not to introduce me to your friend here," the girl said as she gave a soft glare at him

"S-sorry! This is Luna, she's been training me with her brother and sister. Luna; Ayame, Ayame; Luna,"

"Pleasure to meet you," Ayame said

"Nice to meet you too, dude. This is sorta my first time being here, so what would you recommend?" Luna asked

"Well, what do you like to eat?"

"I like lots of things... but I would say I eat a lot of beef,"

"Then I would try the Beef Ramen,"

"Alright, and you, Naruto?" Luna asked as she looked at Naruto

"I'll just my usual, please," Naruto asked as Ayame nodded

"Alright, one Beef Ramen and one Miso Ramen with Roasted Pork Fillet's coming right up," Ayame said as she shouted "DAD! TWO ORDERING COMING UP!"

"Alright!" responded a voice in the back as a man in his early 40's came out. He wore a white robe with the sleeves folded, a white folded hat with a red symbol on it, and a blue apron similar to Ayame's "Well I'll be, Naruto, I never knew you were into older women! HAHAHAHA- OW! He said as Ayame hit him

"DAD! Don't say things like that! She's only his teacher!" Ayame said as Luna chuckled while Naruto blushed

"Alright, alright, I'm sorry," the man said

"Sorry about that, he likes to mess with Naruto sometimes just to get a reaction out of him," Ayame said

"It's nothing, I'm used to things like that. What's your name, old dude?" Luna asked

"Teuchi, you?"

"Luna Loud,"

"Well, Luna, nice to meet you. And I don't think I've seen you around before, new?"

"Yeah, sorta got here a month ago, meet this one on his first 'C'-Rank mission," Luna replied as she ruffled Naruto's hair. Teuchi smiled as he saw this "Well I better get to making your food, I don't want to keep you waiting," Teuchi said as he went to work. As he did so, Luna looked at Naruto as she eyed his jacket "Hey, Naruto, hand me your jacket," she asked

"Hm?"

"Take it off, you're going to catch a cold," Luna repeated herself as Naruto did as he was told, not wanting to anger her. Naruto handed her his jacket as Luna turned around in her chair and ringed it out. Water poured onto the ground as she tried to get the water out. When it was to her standards, she draped it over his shoulders with a smile "There, better," she said

"Wow, thanks, I guess that strength comes in handy sometimes, doesn't it?" Naruto replied as he had a smile of his own

"Yeah, I guess... I guess," Luna said as she remembered the times her strength has hurt the ones she loved

"Luna?" Naruto asked as the said woman looked at him

"Yes?"

"Can you come over and help me with jutsu tonight?" Naruto asked as Luna smiled

"Sure," Luna replied as Teuchi set their food in front of them

"Thank-you!" they both said as Teuchi waved it off

That Night:

"Alright, this is a simple jutsu, just make the monkey hand seal and fire it from your mouth," Luna instructed as she sat across from Naruto

"Alright, here I go... Earth Style: Stone Pistol Jutsu!" Naruto said as he gathered chakra into his mouth and fired a bullet-like rock from his mouth at Luna. Luna caught it as she crushed it in her hand and smirked "You did it! And it took only 3 hours!" Luna said as Naruto fell on his back

"Ohhh! I'm tired!" Naruto said as he took several deep breaths. Luna looked at the time and saw that it was getting late as she started to stretch "Yeah, it's about time we get some sleep, hope you don't mind if I crash on the couch," Luna said

"Sure, I'll get you a blanket," Naruto stated as he got up and ran into his room. Naruto then came back out with a blanket as he handed it to Luna "Here you go!" Naruto said

"Thank, dude, so what time are you getting up in the morning?" Luna asked

"Around 5 or 6,"

"Wow, you really don't have all that much time to sleep, do ya?

"No, but I like it. It gives me time to practice, anyway, good night!" Naruto said as he walked back into his room

"Night, dude!" Luna replied as she turned the light off and went to sleep on the couch.

A Few Hours Later:

Luna awoke to the sound of creaking as she sat up "Urgh, what's that noise?" Luna whispered as she heard it coming from Naruto's room. Getting off the couch, she walked over to Naruto's room as she whispered: "Naruto? Naruto, you awake?" as she opened the door and saw Naruto in some pajamas, tossing and turning in his bed. Luna also noticed that he was shivering as he didn't have a blanket on him "Must be having a nightmare," Luna whispered as she walked to his closet and opened it. Her eyes nearly burned as the orange jumpsuit jackets somehow managed to shine in the dark "GAH! That fricken burns!" Luna shouted/whispered as she noticed that there weren't any blankets "Funny, I would've thought he would've had more. But if he doesn't, then what was that blanket he ga-," Luna continued to speak to herself as she realized that Naruto gave her his blanket. Looking back at Naruto, Luna vanished and reappeared next to him with the blanket as she placed it over him. She then sat on the bed as she ran her hand through his hair. And in an instant, Naruto seemed to calm down as Luna smiled "You're almost like Lincoln when he was like this... Orochimaru would experiment on us for days on end. Lincoln would have frequent nightmares about losing us. He would have flashbacks of all the bad things that happened to him. Hell... he even had a nightmare of us trying to kill him but in a way... I almost did," Luna whispered as she teared up "you're such a sweet kid, Naruto, and I'll hate the day I'm going to have to betray you and your trust," she continued as tears began to fall. As still ran her hand through his hair, she continued to talk "I hate everything about this world, but at the same time, I can't. In the time I've known you, you've grown on me. Whenever I look at you, I can only see Lincoln when he was like this... a kid, carefree and loveable... but now, now there's only an empty shell of Lincoln," she whispered as she placed a leg on the bed and leaned her back against the wall, laying next to Naruto, "and for some reason, I can't explain, I see something terrifying growing in Lincoln. A monster or something that's just waiting to burst out and consume this world with its anger and sorrow," she spoke as she stopped. Luna then stood up as she said: "And I have no idea what to do,". But as she walked away, Naruto spoke a single sentence that shook her world. Time stopped as earthquakes tore down the gates that blocked Luna's mind. The single sentence triggered something in Luna that she never thought would be possible... but it happened. And with this single sentence, the relationship between Luna and Naruto would be changed forever "Don't go... Kaa-chan"

[Alright that took some time and was pretty freaky. I have no idea where I was going with this chapter as I needed some filler for the Chunin exams which is starting in the next chapter.
