"Who is that? Is someone actually riding the ship?" Robin asks.

"So can you cut ghost?" Zoro asks.

"On the deck, look." Sanji says and you can see someone there. A couple of the crew starts to freak out again when they can fully see the skeleton whose name is Brook. I know this because he's eaten a devil fruit and thanks to the curse I know almost everything about the people who have devil fruit abilities.

"Gather up all of the crew, it's time to ship out Bink's brew." Brook says before taking a sip from his cup and the ship floats past which causes the crew to snap out of their initial shock.

"Did you see that? There's a singing skeleton on that ship." Luffy says.

"Oh no way, skeletons don't sing they're dead. You're seeing things it's not real." Usopp says with Chopper nodding behind him.

"Sanji you heard him, come on please can we go?" Luffy asks before his eyes turn to sparkles. "I wonder, if he sings what else can he do? Alright," Luffy says starting to run off but Sanji stops him by grabbing the back of his vest.

"Not so fast. You can't go alone." Sanji says and Zoro holds out a group of sticks to the coward trio of the crew.

"Listen up we're drawing straws to decide who stays here and who goes on the creepy ghost ship with Luffy." Zoro says which causes Nami, Usopp, and Chopper to cry out. I stand up on the railing and walk over to where Robin was standing on the railing. Luffy stood beside her with Sanji beside him and Franky beside him.

"Ready to see some ghost and stuff?" Luffy asks.

"Yeah," Franky says and I roll my eyes.

"I'm going ahead." I say turning to look at Luffy. "Five twenty-three please," I say and the others exchange confused looks except for Luffy who jumps off the railing before moving to stand behind me.

"You sure you want five twenty-three not three fifteen?" Luffy asks and I nod.

"Yup, five twenty-three please." I say and Luffy sends his arms flying back.

"Don't go blaming me then if you're all sore later." Luffy says before hitting me with his Gum-Gum Bazooka which sends me flying over to the other ship where I land gracefully beside Brook.

"Hello mister skeleton." I say and Brook just stares at me for a bit longer.

"Why hello, would you like to join me for some tea?" Brook asks and I nod.

"Sure why not? I'm Kaede by the way." I say offering him my hand which he gladly shakes.

"Brook and it's nice to see someone who isn't afraid of me." Brook says before disappearing into a cabin and coming back with another cup.

"There's only one thing I fear and that's already happened to me before, I don't want it to happen again. Anyway there's no way you'd possibly scare me and there's another idiot who's currently climbing up the ropes who you won't scare." I say staring into the cup before taking a sip.

"There is?" Brook asks walking over to look over the railing. "There are three people climbing up though." Brook says coming back over to stand beside me. When those three finally get on deck they stare at Brook except Nami who's pretty much crying.

"Good afternoon. Thank you all for stopping by, you must excuse me for not greeting you properly before. I really was quite surprised; it's been so many years you see wandering these waters all alone. I'm so used to ghost ships that humans frightened me quite ironic isn't it? Ah but please come inside and take a seat. I'm sure you have many tales to share." Brook says and I glare at him.

"Why didn't I get a long speech like that?" I ask while Luffy starts going on how Brook can talk.

"Ah you surprised me even more so, I apologize for being unable to greet you properly." Brook says and I blink at him.

"You know I was just joking, I got tea that's a lot better than half the greetings I've had. One even consisted of a sword through my side." I say and this time all four look at me.

"Why are you drinking tea that a talking skeleton gave you? It could be poisoned." Nami says and Brook turns to look at her.

"Oh my, what a charming young woman you are? You're beautiful." Brook says. "I'm all eyes for ladies like you or I would be if skeletons had any eyes. Could you perhaps show me your panties?" Brook asks Nami after he straightens himself up.

"Yeah right," Nami says slamming her foot into Brook's head.

"Yohoho, feisty I like it." Brook says as he goes down. "That hurt me right down to the bone because I'm a skeleton you see."

"I get it," Nami yells at him and Luffy burst out laughing. I take another sip of my tea already knowing where this is going.

"That kick just gave him swelling on his skull." Sanji says.

"Hey wait, do skeletons poop?" Luffy asks and I shake my head at his stupidity.

"We have, like, a million questions to ask before that one." Sanji yells as Brook stands up again before he walks over and grabs his stuff again before coming back.

"Oh yes I poop." Brook says.

"Haven't you ever heard of TMI? We don't need to hear that. Anyway how is it that you can sing and talk like that when you're nothing but bones? Are you really the living dead or what? Also why you here and what the hell happened to this ship? These water aren't really haunted are they? We need answers." Sanji says pointing at Brook.

"Hold on, I got one for ya. You ready? Will you join our crew?" Luffy asks.

"Knew that was coming," I mutter finishing off my tea.

"Yes, certainly." Brook says and I hand him the now empty cup. Brook puts it away and I look over to see Nami and Sanji's face showing horror as Luffy just laughs.

"Okay let's head back to the Sunny then." I say when Brook returns before walking over to the railing on the ship and jumping over it. I see Franky's eyes widen as I head towards the water but I push off of the damaged ship and land softly on the Sunny's figure head. I walk down onto the deck and over to where the others were standing.

"Hey Kaede find anything?" Zoro asks and I nod.

"Yup we found Brook, the lonesome talking skeleton." I say and the four finally board the ship. Everyone stares at Brook while Luffy just smiles and the other two that went with him looked depressed.

"Yohoho it's such a pleasure to meet you. Hello and good day to you all. As of today I will be joining you on this ship as your newest crew member. Once dead and all bones my name's Brook and I do hope we can get along." Brook says.

"Are you kidding me? What the hell is this thing?" Franky, Usopp, and Zoro say at the same time while Chopper's pretty much fainted and Robin looks, well uninterested.

"Yohohoho Oh my, what a tough crowd you are." Brook says and Luffy starts laughing again. Nami and Sanji let out a tired sigh.

"Please don't haunt me." Chopper says.

"My goodness, what a lovely young woman perhaps you would like to show me your panties." Brook says.

"That's enough sexual harassment." Nami yells throwing, what I believed to be a boot at his head. I hear Chopper let out an awed gasp and I look over to see Usopp in a full set of anti-ghost gear.

"Remove yourself from this ship you fiend. Submit to the holy power that I wield. Evil be gone. Evil be gone." Usopp says slowly inching closer.

"Oh how frightening." Brook says taking a couple steps back.

"It's working keep it up. You're awesome Usopp." Chopper says.

"Of course I'm awesome. I mean I paid a lot of money for all this stuff so it darn well better work." Usopp says.

"Where is this evil creature? I can't see it." Brook says looking around and I lightly smack my forehead. I'm surrounded by idiots.

"It's you stupid." Usopp and Chopper yell pointing at Brook who lets out a shriek.

"Damn it there's no way a walking talking afro sporting skeleton could exist. This must be a dream; we just need to wake up." Usopp says.

"Oh it's a dream. What a relief? That's nice." Chopper says falling onto his back on the grassy deck.

"Ah excuse me. Hello, hello good morning." Brook says leaning over Chopper who starts to freak out.

"That's enough, what is this thing and why is it on our ship?" Zoro yells pointing at Brook as the skeleton stands up.

"That's our new crew member isn't he funny?" Luffy asks and I walk over to Brook.

"Who cares he's not joining our crew. This is exactly why I wanted you to go with him. What the hell happened? Were you just picking his noses while he just brought a skeleton back to the ship?" Zoro yells at Nami and Sanji.

"Want some tea?" I ask Brook.

"That would be lovely." Brook says and I start walking off with Brook following me.

"I'll join you." Robin says and she joins us.

"I know we messed up." I hear Nami and Sanji say as I open the kitchen door. I let Brook and Robin through before heading to the kitchen. I start making a pot of tea as well as a pot of coffee for the two sitting at the table.

"Yohohoho this is quite a spacious dining room you've got and such a splendid kitchen." Brook says admiring the room and I nod.

"Yeah we do. Oh Robin, Brook ate the Revive-Revive Fruit and that's why he's a living skeleton." I say without even looking at the two but I can feel their eyes on my back as I continue to work.

"How do you know that? I never told you that." Brook says and I hand him a cup of tea which he nods his head in thanks to. I hand Robin a cup of coffee which she thanks me for before I head back to the kitchen to get my own cup.

"I also remember you mentioning a lonesome talking skeleton when we first entered the Florian Triangle." Robin says.

"WHERE'D HE GO?" I hear the rest of the crew yell just as I'm about to respond and I let out a sigh before mental messaging Luffy.

'We're in the kitchen dumbass.' I mentally tell him as I take a sip from the tea I had poured myself as I lean against the counter now on the dining room side facing the two people in the room.

"HEY I'M NOT A DUMBASS." Luffy yells and I let out a laugh.

"YES YOU ARE." I yell back and Luffy opens the kitchen door pouting.

"Am not," Luffy says.

"Fine you're not a dumbass but an idiot." I say and Luffy's pout shrinks.

"I guess an idiot's better than a dumbass." Luffy says sitting down at the table beside the end where Brook was sitting and opposite from the chair Robin was sitting in. Zoro and Nami took the seats at the farthest end of the table from Brook. Usopp and Chopper sat one the bench that was attached to the wall of the room. Franky sat down beside me and Sanji got to work on preparing dinner.

"Like I was saying earlier this is a magnificent ship." Brook says.

"Yup," Luffy says.

"Of course it is. It's the most super ship I've ever made. Those sockets look empty but you got a good eye for quality." Franky says.

"Franky, don't get friendly with the skeleton." Sanji says as he cooks.

Hey guys sorry about the wait I had life to deal with and college paper work which is not fun, not fun at all. I finally got time to put this up and I've been working away on the story so hopefully I'll have a chapter up some time next week but I can't be too sure about that. I also have stupid exams coming up so I might not update during that period because I actually need to study for some of my exams.
