Kaede

"Not good. She's barely able to get a breath." Chopper says and I spot the yellow bird from before making its way over. I ignore it and sit crossed legged on the ground before closing my eyes and meditating. I focus first on feeling the flow of the earth that attaches to everything before scanning through it looking for the IQ plants that Chopper will need to make the cure Nami needs. Why couldn't I have had one more vial left? I'm snapped out of my meditation by the deck we're on being shattered. I act quickly before we hit the ground and slow our descent so we land gently on the ground.

"Shiki," I say spotting the man.

"Now you've gone and done it Baby doll. You're that determined to die. You've let me down too many times. Go on. Try as many times as you like. No one's going to stop me from crushing the East Blue." Shiki yells creating giant Snow tigers to attack us.

"Don't take your personal problems out on the East Blue." I mutter as I take out half of the snow Lions and Luffy takes out the other half.

"Luffy," Usopp and Chopper yell when they spot Luffy standing in between them and Shiki.

"I'm really starting to feel forgotten about." I say and Luffy shakes his head.

"You probably already know where the medicine to make Nami better is. Can you take Chopper and Usopp there while I handle this guy?" Luffy asks and I nod.

"Let's go you two." I say walking in the direction that Shiki has his plants growing.

"Give him hell Luffy." Chopper yells following behind carrying Nami and Usopp's right beside him.

"There's a plantation over there." I say pointing towards the building on top of one of the other buildings. "I'm almost certain that the antidote's in there and if there isn't one ready I can make one with everything there."

"Who are you anyway?" Usopp asks realizing that he's never asked me yet.

"Death's Tempest, right?" Nami whispers out.

"Try to rest, the more you speak and do stuff the quicker the Daft spreads besides that you're correct." I say and Nami nods before relaxing against Chopper's back.

"What?" Usopp asks in surprise slowing down some before catching up again to me and Chopper.

"We don't have time to discuss it. Let's focus on getting Nami that antidote." I say pushing open the doors with the two behind me.

"It smells like a lab up there." Chopper says starting to climb up the stairs to where what appears to be a lab is.

"This must be the lab they do their research in." Usopp says and they start going through the bottles and vials. "How are we supposed to know what to give her?"

"We could ask him." I say pointing at the guy who's sitting on the railing. "I do assume he's the scientist."

"Give us the cure for Daft." Chopper says.

"Why should I?" He asks laughing. "You can look all you like but why would I give you my own personal stash?"

"That would save you a lot of pain. Trust me. Not that I mind taking it by force really. Stand back guys I'm going to slash him to shreds." Zoro says walking in with his swords out and no jacket with his suit.

"Zoro," Chopper and Usopp yell at the same time.

"You managed to follow me all the way here, did you?" Clown Scientist asks.

"Right, get this guy. We need that drug he has to save Nami." Usopp says and he and Chopper move out of the way. I move off to the side slightly as the clown jumps down. Before anyone can blink after the clown lands I've gone behind him, stolen the drug and I'm now standing on his other side. I see Zoro's eyes flick to mine briefly before he starts fighting the clown after the idiot starts dissing the East Blue. They jump outside and before Chopper and Usopp can follow I stop them with an arm.

"We've got to stay with them to get the cure." Usopp says trying to get past but I turn my fist around and open it to show them the vial.

"You mean this cure?" I ask innocently as I hand it over to Chopper. "I'll keep an eye on Zoro, you guys give Nami the antidote and get back to the Sunny. When you get back there keep it safe from other guys and animals." I say before not waiting for a response and jumping down to the walkway they're fighting one. I let out a whistle as Zoro uses a technique called Asura which I had not seen before. He quickly disposes of clown guy, which also destroys half of the walkway. Zoro sheaths his swords and turns to look at me. I jump over the gap and land beside him.

"So, what's on the agenda next?" Zoro asks and I send my senses out.

"Well Luffy's fighting Shiki and Sanji's going after the Gorilla that Shiki usually hangs out with while the rest finish with the rest of the animals. I've already told Usopp and Chopper to take Nami back to the Sunny. I think it's almost time to finish this." I say.

"Well it's probably good to start heading back to the Sunny now then." Zoro says and I nod before sensing a storm coming.

"Time to show why I got the name Death's Tempest. I'll meet you back at the Sunny." I say kissing him on the cheek.

"What are you going to do?" Zoro asks.

"Make the storm worse." I say before turning Zoro in a certain direction. "The Sunny's that way."

"I'll see you back there." Zoro says starting off in the correct direction before turning the wrong way a couple feet down and I shake my head as I jump up towards the tallest building. I sense Zoro meet up with Sanji, Franky, and Brook as I land on the roof. I blink in surprise when I spot Nami up there as well.

"What are you doing up here Nami?" I ask standing up straight.

"To get back at Shiki." Nami says and I nod in understanding. "Wait, you're known for causing storms, aren't you?"

"Well there was always a storm when the marines ran into me but if you're asking me if I can make this storm bigger the answer is yes." I say and Nami nods.

"Do it," Nami says and I rub my hands together before holding a palm in front of me. I blow on it and what appears to be a white powder flies off heading upwards towards the clouds. As soon as the powder hits the clouds the storm intensifies.

"That'll do, now get out of here. There's dynamite in the castle. Wait I haven't seen Kaede, did she get out already?" Nami asks and I smile.

"Your friend is already safe. Shall we get to work then?" I ask and Nami nods before yelling at Shiki. I tune out the conversation and use my senses to make sure everyone important is out of the building. I actually sense the two rocks that are coming towards us first before I spot them and I waste no time in grabbing Nami and jumping down to where Sanji's standing.

"Luffy finish this already." I yell as I throw Nami over my shoulder and rush back to the Sunny with Sanji and Usopp right behind us. I set Nami down as soon as we're at the Sunny and watch as Luffy finishes dealing with Shiki.

"Luffy." Everyone yells as the ship goes flying and with some difficulty I make it up to the crow's nest.

"Did he make it?" Robin asks and I dive off the side heading towards the spot I sense Luffy at. I keep my arms to my side as I use the one devil fruit I'm most accustomed too, and the one the Government is certain to be Death's Tempest's Fruit, the Kaze-Kaze Fruit to get me to where Luffy is. I grab Mini Luffy and hold onto him tight as I sense the bird from before coming towards us. As soon as we're on the back of the bird I change my outfit to pants and a sweater.

I also change my eye color and hair colour back before hiding my hair under my usual newsboy hat. The bird drops us onto the deck of the ship and I watch as all the islands fall back to the sea. Zoro helps me up and I nod in appreciation before feeling my legs just about to collapse under my own weight. Zoro catches me before I can fully fall and places my arm over his shoulder.

"Let's get out of here guys." Luffy calls and we all agree. Zoro sets me down on the mast bench before going off and helping to get us out of here. Once we're out of sight we all breath a sigh of relieve and Chopper instantly gets Nami to go to the girl's room to rest up and get rid of the last of the Daft. Nami actually goes without much of a fight and Zoro comes back over to me.

"Let's get you down to your room to rest up as well." Zoro says helping me up again and he helps me down the stairs.

"I think I could go for a nice long nap. I might sleep for a couple days straight." I say as Zoro opens the door and he blinks in surprise at the different room that greets him.

"Is this your room?" Zoro asks and I nod.

"This is the one that's usually in my dimension pocket." I say and Zoro nods in understanding before bringing me over to the bed. As soon as I'm beside the bed I remove my arm from around Zoro's and plop face down on the bed.

"Night." I barely manage to say before falling asleep.

---Three days later---

I stand up and stretch as I slowly walk out onto the deck. I stop in the doorway to watch as Nami, Usopp, and Luffy run around the deck. Nami manages to grab the shell they were fighting for before throwing it over the railing.

"I missed something." I mutter before aiming for the kitchen to grab something to fill my hungry stomach.

"Kaede," Nami suddenly says and I turn around to look at her as she runs over towards me. To my surprise and almost everyone else she hugs me.

"What?" I ask patting her on the back in confusion.

"I was worried that you were hurt. It's nice to know that you're okay." Nami says releasing me and I notice Sanji head towards the kitchen.

"Ah yeah I'm good. I was pretty much uninjured. Just got exhausted from fighting so many annoying people and animals." I say and Nami nods.

"How much fighting did you do to be asleep for three days?" Franky asks and I blink in surprise.

"I've been out for three days?" I ask.

"To be exact you've been out for three and a half days." Robin says and I stare at her before rubbing my forehead.

"Explains why I feel so tired." I say.

"You were asleep for three days so why are you tired?" Usopp asks.

"I haven't eaten anything for three days. I have no energy at the moment." I say just as Sanji comes back with a plate of food. "Thank you."

"No problem." Sanji says and we all disperse to do our own thing. When I finish eating I drop the empty plate off in the kitchen before heading up to the crow's nest to sit in silence so I can think over what I plan to do once we reach Sabaody Archipelago. The sound of the hatch opening snatches me from my thoughts and I turn to see Zoro entering.

"What are you thinking about?" Zoro asks as he closes the hatch.

"Just thinking about what'll happen next." I say and Zoro sits down beside me before pulling my head over to rest on his shoulder.

"Want to talk about it?" Zoro asks and I shake my head.
