Why the hell did I do that? I just saved Angelina's boyfriend from drowning! Just for that, I gotta go hex something. But that can wait. Actually, you know what? I'm going to hex Angelina. She should be able to save her own boyfriend. I know she was about to go in, but I like having things to make her angry.

I know something else will happen, but I don't know what. I know it'll cost someone's life... I'll deal with that when we get there. We go into 4th period, Social Studies. We're working on China and the Silk Road. We have to figure out what Chinese Dragon we are. Wood, Earth, Fire, Water, Metal. I'm definitely a Fire Dragon. Angelina is probably a Wood Dragon. Cole is in the Emergency Room at the hospital. Angelina's bringing him some work after school. I'm coming with her, whether she likes it or not.

Going into 5th period, lunch, I left my stuff in the room because I go back there for 6th period. Angelina has advanced math. Cole normally has 6th period with me. So I get his work for 6th period, and 7th period I give it to Angelina. 8th period was boring. Tick tock, went the clock... if you were wondering, it was me who painted that.

3:30 dismissal. Angelina has all of Cole's work in a folder. We get on the bus that'll take us to the hospital. No words were exchanged on the ride there. Walking into the hospital, I shoot a glance at Angelina. She returns the look with a glare that says, Don't you dare! Whatever. A nurse leads us to his room. Angelina puts the folder down by his bed and looks at him. He's waking up. I'm standing in the doorway. He's woken up now and looking at Angelina.

"How are you doing?", she asks.

"Fine. What are we doing in school?", he replies. Angelina just gives him a smile like she's his mom. Urgh.

"She brought your work, you know.", I say, making him look at me. I walk further into the room and sit next to Angelina. He glares at me.

"What is she doing here?", he demands.

"Excuse you too. I saved you. Would you rather I'd let you die?", I say coldly. He looks terrified, and looks to Angelina to confirm I'm not lying. She nods.

"She's right. She did save you.", Angelina confirms, looking at Cole's face. He still looks confused. Angelina then proceeds to go into detail.

"After you had been in the pool for about 2-3 minutes, we were all starting to panic, except Raven, who was somehow able to keep an unemotional, straight face. She jumped in and got you from the bottom of the 16 foot pool, brought you up, and pulled the water out of your system with a spell. If it wasn't for her, you'd probably be dead right now.", she finished with a flourish. She looked to me and I give a small nod. Urgh. Spare me the theatrics, will you?

"You shouldn't go swimming for the next 8 months, because of your back. You hit your head pretty badly on the bottom of the pool. I'm surprised you're not paralyzed.", I say. He glances at Angelina as if to say, 'What do I do then?' I have an answer for that. "The gym teacher is going to have you do some papers on bones and muscles in the body."

"Oh, ok. How long am I going to be here?", he asks.

"A few weeks.", I say. Angelina has an apologetic look on her face. Ohmigod. I don't need the drama. I'm silently cursing in my head. I'm interrupted by my sister, who walked through the doorway with a basket of cards.

"Our class made get well cards. Can someone explain what happened to me?", she asks, setting down the basket on top of the homework folder. Cole, Angelina, and I share a look. Cole starts.

"We were at the pool for gym class. We had free time for the second part of the class. I went off the diving board-"

"And I was going to go after him, but he never came up. So I was starting to panic, Raven noticed, and somehow managed to keep an unemotional, straight face, and-", Angelina jumps in.

"And I dived in, got Cole from the bottom of the 10 foot pool, brought him up, got him on the ground, and used a spell to get the water out of his system. So basically, he drowned and I brought him back to life.", I finish. My sister looks at me like I was the last person she'd expect to do that. Then again, I probably am...

"I know. I was surprised when I saw her do that. And Cole was surprised when he found out.", Angelina says. Um, hello? Right here, you know.

A few weeks later, Cole is back at school, and everything is fine. For everyone else. I know that life-threatening situation I was talking about will happen. Today. I'm ready, but I know what I'm going to have to do. I'm going to have to leave. Say goodbye to all of them.

It's 4th period. The teacher is grouping us based off of what dragon we are. I'm with Serena, a girl called Alex, and another girl named Maddie. I'm surprised there are only four Fire Dragons. Wait, no I'm not. Angelina is in the Wood Dragon group,like I thought, Cole with the Water Dragons. The irony.

There's an announcement that we are on a level 3 lockdown, and everybody goes to the respective hiding places. That's my signal. I run out the door before anyone can catch me. Angelina and Cole follow me. Urgh. NO! They can't be out here! I turn to face them, and see my sister running towards us. You have got to be KIDDING me! NO! I can't have you out here. Not with what's about to happen! They all look at me with white faces and scared expressions. I slowly turn around.

There is a man, dressed in all black and wearing a mask, holding a gun pointing it at me. I put my hands in the air and roll my eyes.

"So, long time no see. How's your brother?", the man asks. Oh, it is ON!

"Oh, doing just fine in heaven, since you murdered him!", I reply coolly. "Eight years, and now you're back."

"What's going-?", Luna starts. I look back at her.

"I didn't want to tell you. I wanted you to be safe, that's why you got adopted and I didn't. I was never enrolled in there. This is why I said we should leave. Ryan didn't die of a heart condition. He never had one. He was murdered, by someone, presumably him.", I say, turning back to the man.

"Oh, nice. Protective big sister. What happens if I was to shoot her now?", he asks. I smirk.

"I would dig you up after your death sentence, bring you back to life, and kill you again. And of course, I'd bring her back to present at your trial. That is, if you make that far, because Satan help me, I will come after you and curse you to oblivion.", I growl. I'm about ready to throw him out the window.

"I'm proud of you sweetheart. Nice job.", he says. He pulls off the mask he's wearing. I curse. Luna looks confused. I turn to her, pointing at the man.

"It's Dad.", I say. "Why the HELL did you kill Mom and Ryan? I killed you. How can you be here? Actually, you know what? I don't care how you can be here, I want to know why you're here.", I yell. I curse at him again. My eyes and hands are green, which is a sign I'm angry and about to cast a lethal/fatal curse. A normal curse and just my hands turn green.

He just smirks and aims the gun at Luna. He fires at her, but I hold up my hand, stopping the bullet in midair. I turn the bullet around, and shoot it at a wall. He keeps firing at them, and I keep stopping them, and make them fly at a wall. This keeps up for a few minutes, but I missed a bullet. The bullet that was aimed at my heart.
