Well, family ties. Too complicated. I know though, that it was a shock for Angelina. Confirming in 3, 2, 1...

"That's crazy! He's not my half-brother! You're just proving you're insane!", Angelina yelled. I shoot her a warning glance, and she immediately shuts up.

"I'm sorry. He is. Raven did some DNA tests and sent the results to me. Here, take a look. And yes, she is crazy. Raven, come with me. I can help.", Luna said, turning to me. I shook my head. I'm pretty sure I had a death glare on, because she backed off. I stood up, and so did Jack.

"Well, this has been a cozy catch up, but Jack and I need to go 'back to work', being the spiders that we are...", I trail off. Cole looks very confused. "We are like spiders at the center of a web, of course, it is a criminal web. We know how each one dances, and I like to watch you dance, cause I can see you.", I say in a singsong voice.

"You'll be hearing from us later, Angelina, Cole, Luna.", Jack says, and I cast the countercurse and the binds untie themselves. I snap my fingers and the lights go out, leaving them to stumble around. Jack and I know the area so we know where to step.

We go back to his house, which is right next to my school. The walk to school is easy. Slip under the cut in the fence, and walk around to the back. Of course it is 4 A.M. and school doesn't start till 8:00. I do this a lot. Jack knows I do this, he packs some things for me. A blanket, a box of breakfast biscuits, a book, among other things I might need... He does the same, except he's in high school, and he has to walk further.

"I'm going to head out. I'll see you tonight, I won't be here until about 5:30, cause of vocal ensemble.", I say to him. He nods, handing me my backpack. I thank him, hug him, and go out the back door.

As soon as I'm out, I can feel the cold of November on my face, and I love it. I love the cold. I prove time and time again that 10°F with a wind chill of -2°F is not cold while wearing short sleeves. People think I'm crazy. Then again, I am...

I get to the school's playground, but don't go to the bench I normally do. I sit on the swings and pump my legs. Back, Forth, Back, Forth. The wind is under my feet and blowing through my midnight black hair. I'm lost in my thoughts. Thinking about what to do to Angelina and Cole today, and definitely what to do with my sister... I don't need to see her here. I look at my phone. 4:30. The only light there is right now, is coming from the street light and my phone. I unlock my phone and open messaging. I send a text to Jack, then one to Angelina. (Don't ask how I got her number.) Here's the one to Jack:

Have a good day. I'll see you @ 5:30. :)

The one to Angelina:

You think you know me? Well you don't. I know more about you than you know about me. See you in a few hours. There's a surprise for you.

I know, I know, it's only 4:45 A.M. and she won't read it for a few hours, but Jack replies instantly:

You too. :) Change of plan, I have someone to beat up, so I won't be home til 4:45.

I smile, send a text back, and check the time. 5:00. I've got about two - three hours before school starts. Ugh. I'm going to have to hex something, because this is boring. Now what to do about my sister... she's obviously going to try and change me, so I'm just going to go along with it and then show her that there's been no change. I practice a couple of spells, like making it snow and then melting it with fire. The wind is blowing against me, but I don't feel anything. Again, I like the cold. I do check the weather on my phone, though. Now it's 7° F and the wind chill is -12° F. I didn't even notice a difference.

It's dark, but I can see quite clearly actually. I look around. Still dark, only a few passing cars, cold, a few trees, playground equipment, and me. I check the time, again, cause I'm so bored. Sorry nothing exciting yet, nothing to do to change that. I mean, yeah, I could shoot off some firework spells and wake up the entire neighborhood, or I could break into one of the houses, and get the police over here. Nah, I'll just wait to have some fun with nature.

Behind our school is a forest, so there's lots of wildlife there. There's always a family of wolves that I visit. I take out what Jack gave me, and head to their den. The mom looks up in alarm, but softens when she sees it's me. I take a few biscuits and offer them to her. She takes them, gives me a nod, and glances to the corner, where her pups were in a huge pile, sleeping. I gently wake them up and give each one a few biscuits.

That's another good thing about being a witch. You can understand animals. I choose to only listen to my favorite animals, which are wolves. I step out of the den, and I see a huge raccoon that would feed the entire family. I kill it with my knife and take it back to the den, laying it at the mom's feet. As soon as I step away, the dad returns with a deer. The wolf family eats that, while I eat a couple of biscuits and play with the pups. I feel like a part of the family, because they treat me like part of them and I remember what I have. Living with Jack, being a criminal. This is the best life ever.

I check my phone again. 6:30. Sunrise. Ugh. Could 6:45 come any faster? Imma go take a nap... because I'm bored. When I wake up, I check the time again. 6:47. I head over to the school building and cast a spell to open the locks and disable the cameras. This will be fun.
