... Ok. Give me... a minute to... think. Um, ok. So, yeah, um, Raven just got shot. In the heart. Trying to save Cole, Luna, and I. Ok, so I have my thoughts, somewhat organized. So we're in the hallway, and Raven just got shot. A green light escapes from her mouth and she falls over, taking her last breath. The gunman just drops dead where he is, I don't know why... but no one cares. We're all over by Raven, Luna is crying, Cole is looking shocked, I'm just standing there by them. Her body is just sitting there, her livelihood gone, just dead. I'm actually going to miss her.

We're about to walk away when her body glows green and we all back up. Another green light escapes her mouth and transforms into an apparition of Raven. All green, but you can see the details of her. She speaks slowly, like she's not used to the language.

"I knew this would happen. I've always known. Luna, don't try to find Mom. Dad killed her. That's why I just killed Dad. Again. I'm sorry I didn't tell you what really happened, it's just since I'm already broken I should be dealing with this stuff. Not emotional, remember? Cole, don't drown again. Angelina, oh God, I don't even know where to start. Just remember me, ok? All three of you. Your future self is watching you right now through your memories. Kiss my eyes and lay me to sleep.", she says, her voice soft, not her usual sarcastic voice. I nod. We're all crying now.

"Are we going to see you again?", I ask, my voice breaking. She ignores me, but answers the question.

"If you're wondering if you can see me again after this, you can't. I'm dead. How are you going to see me again if I'm dead?", she says, smiling. Not her usual evil smirk, but a genuine smile. I'm surprised we all haven't broken down. Oh wait, we did...

"Don't cry for me. I'm in a much better place. I'm happier. Just remember me, ok? And have awesome lives. Shame I won't be there to interrupt them with a bank robbery or prison break.", she laughs. We also laugh while crying.

"Luna, come over here.", she says to her sister. Luna walks over and Raven talks to her privately. When she comes back over, she has new tears in her eyes. Raven does the same with Cole, with the same results.

"Angelina.", she calls. This is nerve wracking for me. I walk over to her, shaking.

"Did I ever tell you how much I'm going to miss you?", I ask. She shakes her head and smiles.

"I knew. And your eyes. They get browner and prettier when you cry. Since this'll be the last chance I get to say this without giving you a heart attack...", she whispers the rest to me, and I start crying again, harder. Cole comes up to me and pulls me into a hug. Raven gives us one last smile and fades back into the green light, which covers Raven's body and glows so brightly we have to shield our eyes. When we're able to see properly again, her body is gone.

That's what it says on Raven's gravestone. The entire school is at the cemetery. They cancelled classes for today and everyone went to the graveyard for Raven's funeral, although the coffin was buried before we got there, so it was more of a memorial service. I'm standing next to Luna, who is crying hard over the headstone. Cole's talking to some of Raven's friends.

"She was only 14. Our brother was 13 when he was killed. What was Dad doing? Going down our family tree once we turned 13?", she says angrily. She starts crying harder, knowing that she only has a few years before she turns 13. I hug her.

"I know. But you're lucky Raven killed him before she died.", I say, trying to hold back my own tears now. "And she lives on. She lives in you, she lives in me. She lives in all of us."

"And then that's the thing I'll have to remember her for. The last act of my older sister's life was keeping me safe from my own dad.", she says, disgusted. Oh God, it makes me feel horrible when she puts it like that... After knowing that Raven is a wanted criminal...

A sudden movement from Luna takes me out of my thoughts. She lays the black rose she was holding on the black marble gravestone.

"Raven always liked the dark. Now I'd like think she's watching over us, she's everywhere. The water, the wind.", she sniffs, thinking out loud. "I just want to forget this all. But it's like I can still hear her in my mind. Like she's trying to call out to me through my mind."

"You really shouldn't, you know. These sort of things come in handy later. Tick tock, goes the clock...", a voice behind us says. And it sounds like Raven. We turn around, but Raven is nowhere to be seen, because she is allegedly six feet underground.

"What did she tell you? When she talked to you privately?", Luna asks, trying to stop crying. I shake my head.

"She said, 'I'm coming.' She said she's coming."

"She's dead, she can't be back. It might be her criminal web is still operating, but her personally, is dead.", Luna says, confused, before breaking down again. I pull her into a hug. We'll just have to wait, and I don't think I can. Cole and I walk her home, before we go to my house, promising to come over tomorrow.

As soon as I get home, I run to my room and collapse on my bed, sobbing my eyes out. Cole closes the door so we have some private time.

"W-Why did sh-she have to go? That w-way?", I barely manage to get the words out, in what could be classified as a whimper.

"I don't know. She may have been the devil, but even the devil was once an angel.", he says. He sits down on the edge of my bed and rubs my back. I take his words to heart and continue sobbing.

After I finish crying, we take a walk by the cemetery and since it's night, I can see one grave lit up. It's probably Raven's. I feel Cole squeeze my hand and lead me away from the cemetery.
