Chapter 23.
Jummah Mubarak!
Raina.
I smiled as we walk out of the airport. I look at Aazim as he holds my hand and lead me toward the cab. He motions me to sit while he put our bags in the trunk before getting in back with me. He tells the driver the name of the resort where we are going to stay for a week before he turned to look at me.
"So, how are feeling to be here?" He asked making me smile and lace our fingers together.
"Happy." He smile and put his hand around my shoulder making me lean on him as he plays with my fingers. I sigh silently and look out of the window as I think about the things happen in a few days.
Since Aazim told me about us going to Maldives, I start planning and packing my bags. I take my leave from office after completing my pending work. I also notice a change in Aazim that he starts to hold my hand and hug me more, not that I am complaining it is just new to me being close to him.
I turned my head and look at him before a soft smile take over my face when I saw his eyes closed and his hair flowing back as the wind hit his face. He has a peaceful look on his face and silently pray that he would always stay like this.
After half an hour, we stop and look out of the window to see our destination. Aazim paid the cab driver and take out our bags before moving inside. We walked up to the reception to get our keys and he told us to enjoy before stopping a bell boy to show us our room. He leads us to the back of the resort.
I feel a smile, taking over my face again as I saw the breathtaking view in front of us as we walk in our room. It is kind of small cabin minus the kitchen. There was a bed on the right side of the room and right in front of it was an open long rectangular window from where we get the view of beautiful blue ocean.
Right next to the window was an open door to the balcony. There was a set of white couch, which goes with dark color wood floor and walls. Everything was open beside the ceiling and we didn't even need any air condition because of the natural cool wind.
"Did you like the room?" I feel Aazim arms on my shoulder and looked at him. I nodded with a smile.
"Yeah, and this view are so beautiful." I say making him hmmed.
"But I have seen more beautiful than this." He shrugged and walks toward the bags and pick up his before opening it.
"And what is that?" I asked him curiously and leaned against the window as I look at him with a raised eyebrow. I don't think that there is more beautiful and breathtaking then this.
"You want to know?" He asked without looking up at me and finally take out a gray T-shirt and black shorts. I nodded when he looked up at me and saw as he slowly walk toward me. I hold my breath as he leaned close to my ear and feel his breaths hitting on my neck that make me shiver.
"Nothing is more beautiful than you in my eyes." He whispers and I close my eyes as I feel his lips touching my ear. I open my eyes when the warmth went away and saw him walking toward the door that lead in the bathroom.
I sigh and went to my bag that was in front of the small dressing table and looked up in the mirror. I put my hand on my cheeks as I saw it turned into pink. I smile slightly as I think about Aazim words.

"Why aren't you ready yet?" Aazim asked me as he saw me sitting on couch reading the book that I bring with me.
"Where we are going?" I asked him and stood up from my place after putting the bookmark on the page I was. I turned to look at him and saw him dressed in a black denim with a blue button shirt.
"For dinner." He looks at me blankly. I give him an apologetic look and told him to give me a few minutes to get ready.
After 3 minutes, I was ready to go. I walk out of bathroom and look up. I saw Aazim looking at me making me nervous. I look down at my clothes and saw nothing wrong. I was wearing a pink top that came to my knees with black jeans and my shoes. I also wrapped a veil around my neck.
"What?" I asked him nervously and saw as he walk toward me.
"Aren't you going to put on some makeup?" He asked me as he stops in front of me. I shrugged and look at the dressing table.
"No. I didn't feel like wearing it on vacations." I told him honestly and look at him to see him smiling slightly. He forward his hand and pick up a white headband and put it on my head before freeing my hairs from the side braid.
"Now that looks much better." He says and grabbed my hand before leading us out. He takes us to the small restaurant that this resort hold and the good thing is that they serve halal food as well.
Aazim pulled out a chair for me before taking his seat across me and we give our order. As we wait for it to come, we sit in silence. I look Aazim busy on his phone and he was smiling, but I didn't ask him about it. I look away when he put it back on the table.
"So, how much are you enjoying so far?" He asked me and leaned in while putting his elbow on the table.
"Very much." I told him honestly. After that little blushing accident in room, we got into something comfortable and went to take a tour. We ride a golf cart around the city and look around and take some pictures before we come back to the resort as we were still tired from the flight.
"I am glad that you are enjoying. Tomorrow, we are going for jet skiing." He sat and an exciting cross in his eyes. I swallow and look away. I only tried to jet skiing once in my life and I got disbalanced and almost died and never try again but seeing him excited making me quiet.
After dinner, we went back in our room. Aazim went first and change in his night clothes before I change my cloths as well. As I walk out, I saw him sitting on the edge of the bed doing something on his phone again. He looked up when I take the pillow from the bed and move toward the couch.
"Uh... you can sleep on the other side of the bed." He says and I didn't miss the hint of nervousness in his voice.
"No, it is okay. I can manage here." I says and was about to lay but stop as Aazim walk toward me. I frowned as he takes the pillow and grabbed my hand before walking toward the left side of the bed. He put the pillow back in its place and make me lay down before coming to the right side.
I look at him and saw as he dims the lights and lay down with his face toward me. I close my eyes as he continues to stare at me making me nervous. Taking a deep breath, I let myself slip into the deep sleep, but not before I feel his hand on my face and a smile on my lips.
***
The next day when we woke up, we freshen up and have ordered our breakfast in room. As the clock strikes 12, Aazim told me to get ready for the beach. I wore a black tights with an over-sized T-shirt. I walk in room after changing my clothes and saw him already in his shorts and tank top.
We leave our room to go to the beach where people were skiing. I feel my hand sweaty as we slowly walk toward the shack. Aazim smiled at the guy behind the counter. I look toward the ocean as he talks to the guy and saw people skiing freely.
"Are you ready?" I look at Aazim when I heard him. I shake my head and look down when I saw him frowning.
"I-I am scared." I told him everything and expected him to laugh, but he gives me a assuring smile when I looked up at him.
"Don't worry. I will teach you and sit behind you for your first." He grabbed my hand and went to the guy who was getting the jet skis ready in the water.
Aazim explain me how to hold on and accelerate before we put on our life vest and goggles. He helped me to sit first before he gets behind me. He held my hand on the accelerator and guide me as we slowly take off. There were a few life guard around in the water to look after us. I feel a small smile on my lips as I finally get a hold on it. I glance down at my side when I feel something on my waist before quickly looking up. I swallow and my hands started to shake slightly.
"Don't worry. I am here nothing will happen. Just hold on and move." I heard Aazim over the loud noise of the water and engine. I feel water splashing my face and nodded before I feel his hand squeeze my waist.
After half an hour, Aazim and I ride side by side and play around splashing the water. I look at Aazim and saw as he smiled and his eyes shine behind his goggles. He looked at me when he feels his gaze on me and motion me to look forward. My eyes widened as I saw a boat and quickly turned to move and passed it closely. I stop and close my eyes to calm my racing heart and feel someone stop next to me.
"Are you okay?" I open my eyes and look at Aazim. I nodded after taking a few deep breaths.
"Yeah. I just got distracted." I say as glaring at his smirk and I can tell that he already know about it.
"Let's go back and this time ride slowly." I nodded and we slow ride back to the shore.
By the time, we reach at the shore, I feel my ears ringing with so much noise. I feel Aazim holding me to keep me steady as I feel a little dizzy before he paid off our jet skiing. I looked at him as we slowly walk back to the resort before looking down at our hands that fit perfectly.
"Aazim." I call him as we step in our room. He turned to look at me and raised his eyebrow. "Thank you." I looked at him as he walks toward me.
"Don't thank me. I know I did so much wrong in the past and I am sorry again for everything but whatever I am doing is because you should get to enjoy your life and deserve to be happy." He looks down at me and I frowned as I something in his eyes. I close my eyes as he put his hands on my face and leaned down before I feel his lips on my forehead.
