Josh's words constantly run through Harry's head. He tries to push away the voices in his head, shaking his head and covering his ears when they become too loud for him to stand.

Trying to ignore the voices and images, Harry tries to get up from the bed. His hand blindly seaches the bed post for support as he tries to get up. His body however, feels way too heavy and just when Harry stands up on his feet, he drops back onto the bed, gasping at the ache in his head.

He hears more voices, more terrifying and angry. Screaming. Shouting. Insulting Harry for being a stupid bastard. Disgracing his for being so weak.

Harry looks around the room with blurry eyes and finds a bunch of people standing in the corner. He realizes that they are the ones shouting at him and sobs loudly.

"Leave me alone, please." Harry pleas weakly, his voice almost inaudible.

His request isn't taken into consideration by those people though instead they only scream louder and then a girl comes forward from the group. Her face seems fimiliar but Harry's unable to recognize her.

Her body floats through the air until she's only an inch away from Harry. Her bruised hand reaches out to touch him but as soon as her fingers brush against Harry's cheek, she pulls away.

She blinks twice and when she opens her eyes, blood starts pouring out of them. Scarlett liquid trickling down her cheeks like tears.

Harry tries to remember who the girl is and then realization hits him. It's the same girl he had kicked out of his house that day.

Harry wants to ask her what happened and why she's in this condition but before he could, the girl speaks up.

"You did this to me." She hisses at Harry, all of the other voice disperse into low whispers. "Your brother and you, Harry!"

She keeps on shouting at Harry, accusing him for ruining her life and then she disappears. Those horrible voices returning as she vanishes into the air right in front of Harry.

The tears continue to fall from Harry's eyes, body shaking from head to toe. He finds it hard to breathe through his nose, feeling like someone's choking him, trying to put him out of his misery.

Without his consent, a loud pained scream escapes Harry's lips, his body is working on its own, he's got no control over what he's doing.

"Harry." He hears a voice from the side of the room and snaps his head in that direction. His vision is blurry but he's able to see Selvia standing there, her palm resting on top of her heart.

Next to her is standing another person and seeing him makes Harry's condition worse. Another scream leaves his mouth and he struggle to get up. He wants to grab Josh by his collar and punch his. He wants to beat him to pulp.

I never did wrong to you. I fucking loved you, Josh. These words are at the tip of his tongue yet he's unable to utter them.

"Please call the doctor. Someone call the doctor, please." Selvia cries reaching forward and grabbing Harry's shaking hand which he had raised in air by mustering all his strength.

Harry's head is throbbing with severe pain, it's like someone is hammering it repeatedly. Minutes feels like hours before every finally goes black, engulfing him in peace and serenity.
.
Laura stands by the window with her head resting on the sill as she watches the sun slowly rising up into the sky, marking the end of another sleepless night and start of another restless day.

She's tired, the bags under her eyes and constant yawning is a real evidence of that but unfortunately, her brain refuses to let her rest. Every time she closes her eyes to get some sleep, to feel peaceful and calm even for a little while, her brain starts hoarding her with all the painful memories.

She been crying over every littlest thing that she remembers. She's disgusted with herself, with every decision she's ever made in her life. It's because of her selfishness that her parents and siblings are no longer alive. And yet all she feels is pity for her own self.

Laura's vision becomes blurry and she tightly holds on to the wall beside her when she remembers the poor condition of the house where she had spent her seventeen years of life. The house that held so many memories of joy and sadness.

It was no longer a house when Laura had visited it. It looked like a haunting place, severely damaged by fire. The fire which had not only destroyed the house but also the people who lived in it. According to police record, it was an accident, Laura however is aware that Josh is the one behind it.

It's not the thing that is crumbling and shattering her heart the most though. The real reason behind her poor condition is that even though she knows the truth and can easily get justice for herself and her parent, she's quite, only for Harry's sake.

She doesn't want Harry to be dragged into all this. After everything he's been through and after suffering so much, she can't just bear the thought of him being in the police station for investigating or behind the bars for kidnapping her.

Laura wonders how Harry's doing now that he knows the truth. She's been tempted many time to just take Louis' phone and call him, hear his voice once to make sure that he's doing okay but she restrains herself, his rejection flashes in front of her eyes everytime.

There's a knock on the door which causes Laura to avert her eyes away from the window, one of her quickly wipes away the tear stains from her face before she turns around.

"Come in." She mumbles in a small voice, moving away from the window and walking towards the unmade bed.

Louis pokes his head through the door before he opens it wider and enters into the room. His sleepy eyes run over Laura's standing figure and he sighs sadly.

"You didn't sleep, did you?" Louis asks her with a frown, crossing his arms across his chest like a disappointed father.

Laura stares at him for a couple of seconds and then looks away when she feels the need to cry again. It's like every time Louis is near her, the urge to cry becomes stronger. Maybe because he's the only one who knows what she's been through in past few months and has told her that he's got her back. Or maybe because he's lost his loved ones too and is alone in the cruel world.

Louis let's him hard demeanour crumble at her action and the very next second he's got his arms around the petite girl whose sniffling and sobbing quietly in the crook of his neck.

"Everything is gonna be good again, pretty bird." He whispers, rubbing her back in an attempt to calm her down.

Laura doesn't say anything in return, just closes her eyes and lets Louis hold her for a while. She knows nothing is going to be normal again, nothing will be good again. The word good probably wasn't written in her fate by God.

"Did you receive any call last night?" Louis asks her once she pulls away from his embrace and sits down the bed with a heavy sigh.

Laura nods in response, smiling a little and patting the spot next to her on the bed, silently asking Louis to sit down.

"I did." She tells him, not saying any more, aware that Louis would not like the decision she's made.

"Well, tell me about it." Louis presses, gulping in the lump that starts forming in his throat at the prolonged silence that follows after his words.

"They gave me a choice, Louis." Laura says after a while, averting her gaze away from him and looking towards the ajar window. "I could either stay here under police protection until I turned eighteen or live under my relative's supervision in Australia."

"You didn't.." Louis starts but before he can complete his sentence, Laura shakes her head and sighs.

"I've decided that it's the best for me to leave, Louis." She tells him with a shrug, pretending to be nonchalant about it although her heart drops as she says the words.

Louis' not sure how to respond, he's promised to support the girl in her every decision but now, all her wants is to ask her to stay.

Louis' never known how it feels like to have family, his parents had died in a car crash when he was only five years old. He'd spent his teenage life at a foster home and now after spending an entire week with Laura, he sees her as his family. Family that he's reluctant to let go of.

"You don't have to." Louis says desperately, shaking his head as he stares the side of her face. "I can be your legal guardian, Laura. I'm twenty-four."

Laura smiles sadly at his willingly to take her responsibility but no, she can't be selfish enough to burden Louis when he's struggling himself to build a stable life.

"I... I can't do that." She tell him with a heavy sigh, looking down at Louis' hand which is tightly holding hers.

Louis frowns at her words and grabs her chin with his thumb and index finger, making her look up at him. He feels his own eyes filling up with tears at the sight of her pained expressions.

"It's because of him, isn't it? You're doing this because of Harry." Louis' words sound more like a statement than question and Laura doesn't even bother to answer him because yes, they both know that the main reason behind the decision she's taken is Harry.

"I don't want to talk about all this right now." She tells him and stands up from the bed but Louis grabs onto her hand tighter when she tries to walk away.

"Don't make this harder for me, Louis." She tries to sound calm but the slight trembling in her voice doesn't go unnoticed by Louis.

Louis' lips part to say something but he finds himself at the loss of words. With a defeated sigh he lets his grip on Laura's hand become loose. She's quick to snatch her hand away, aware of the fact that she will start crying if she stays in the room any longer.
