"GOOD TO SEE YOU again, sis." Celine Bevis had sighed deeply as she happily embraced her older sister. It's been a while since they've been like this. It's been too long since they've bonded, or even seen each other.
Saraya gulped down the threatening tears and briskly whispered into Celine's ear, "Good to see you too..."
All the pain the two have been through wasn't to be uttered... Because it was shared in their hearts. It's been weighing down on them for far too long.
"I'm sorry." Saraya barely uttered before sniffling, hugging her little sister tighter in her arms than ever before. The guilt has been slowly killing her; Instead of being parient, she left Celine alone and jumped to conclusions about things she should've known weren't true. Saraya despised herself for that and she never wanted anything as stupid as men to come between her and her baby sibling.
"i know you are." Celine reciprocated the gesture of love. She didn't want to let go either. Her sister might have been harsh and impatient, but she meant well. So it was so easy to forgive her.
Like it was to forgive Fergal...
For all Celine knew, Ferg couldn't care less about her right now. He could yell at her, or ignore her. He could say the nastiest of things, but all she would want to do is to see him. Just catch a glimpse of him, all of him. Not on TV, but in the flesh and everything will be alright. That's all the younger Bevis wished for.
"The show's about to begin..." said Saraya before she paused to stare at her. She could see the longing in Celine's eyes. "Are you here to see him?"
Celine gulped deeply as she stared into Saraya's dark orbs. Of coarse she was here to see Finn. It's what she's wanted since the moment they were separated. It's what she's needed from the first night she didn't receive a good night text from him.
She wanted to beg him to listen, to hear her out and tell her that her trusts her. She wanted to be in his arms once more and kiss him like the world would end at any given second. She wanted him to share his childhood moments, both good and bad, his experiences, his losses and wins, she wanted him... She needed him.
Her breaths became shallow. The walls of her calm state came crashing down. Celine placed her hand over her mouth to muffle the deep sob while the tears flowed out like rivers. Her chest throbbed with a bitter sadness that threatened to choke her heart.
Saraya had her in her arms once again, nearly releasing a few more tears of her own but held back. She felt Celine shaking her head as she frantically cried out, "I can't bare being away from him any longer, Raya, it's-"
A shuddering breath cut her off, her small figure wrecked with sobs in her older sisters firm embrace. She too has cried over what was left. She knows the pain of being separated from the love of her life. "it's too much."
"Hey, hey, shh..." Saraya cooed softly, gently rubbing her back. "I know for a fact that he feels the same. Hey, Listen to me-"
She pulled back and kept her hands on Celine's shoulders while looking her straight in the eyes with a serious expression. "You are going to go in there and find him. And when you do, you are going to tall to him and you're going to get back what you've lost. Are we clear?"
Celine smiled, wiped away the tears and nodded. "That's my girl."
Finding Finn Balor wasn't easy. It wasn't a pay per view, but the event was busy. The crowd was buzzing with excitement, making it hard for her to focus. She glanced left and right for him, but he was nowhere in sight. His match ended a few minutes ago, where is he?
"Celine..." She tensed at the voice behind her. Of coarse... He'd be... Right. Behind. Her.
Slowly, Celine turned around, but never looked in his eyes. For she feared that she might get lost in them and forget what it is that she wanted to say. Or what she came here for. That's what he did to her. He knocked her off balance and sometimes, she just hated it.
"You're here..." his voice came out a wavering whisper that had her soul at his mercy. Now she knew. He was hurting too. He was in pain, just like her.
This was enough to reassure her, to show her that everything was going to be just fine. For the first time in a while, she could see light in the dark hole she was stuck in.
Moments later, she threw her arms around Finn, much to his utter shock. But he didn't complain. In fact, he inwardly rejoiced and wrapped his arms around her warm frame, burying his nose into her caramel locks of hair. "I'm so sorry! I'm sorry for not trusting you, my love. God, I'm such an idiot!"
He felt like drowning himself in guilt for that. It didn't take a genius to know that she went through a lot while they were apart. He committed the unforgivable crime of thinking that this wonderful woman was lying to him. His mistake felt like a fracture, it crippled his conscious.
"Well, I can't argue with you on that." she brightly smiled, pulling away from his arms but not enough for him to let her go as his hands only rested on her waist, whilst hers on his chest. "But I forgive you."
His head raised while his glistening blue eyes widened like saucers. When his eyes met hers, a shattering wave of guilt nearly broke him down.
How on earth was he going to forgive himself?
Celine noticed his sadness and frowned. Shouldn't he be happy? Or did he not hear what she said? Didn't he want her anymore?
Her left hand travelled up to his neck and gently grazed his cheek. Her thumb softly traced his parted lips as she began to say, "Ferg, I forgive you and-"
"No, love, I don't deserve it. I don't..." Finn stepped back while shaking his head, his hand took hers and softly squeazed it as he looked down in pain, "I don't deserve your forgiveness."
He wanted more than anything to take back his words. He wanted her to scowl, to yell at him, tell him that she never wanted to see his face again. But how could he do that?
How could he when he just realized that her happiness relied heavily on him? He couldn't tell her what he did, he couldn't break her heart yet again, not when she finally smiled after who knows how long.
"It doesn't matter." Celine took a step towards him, refusing to give up on him, on their love. With her other hand was placed on his chest, she tried to smile but the agony in his eyes didn't let her.
"It does. I..." he breathed out, preparing himself to speak the truth. But as he looked into her eyes, the words got caught in his clogged throat. "Celine... I..."
"Ferg, what is it?" The fear in her eyes was evident. She was scared. Of losing him, of losing their relationship, their love. She was scared of living with the pain like he has. "Fergal..."
He couldn't tell her. He just couldn't. Celine's fear snapped something inside of him. Something that made him vow to never hurt her again, and if it meant keeping the ugly truth from her, then so be it. He vowed to make her happy. Whatever it took to do that shall be done.
Without wasting anymore time, Finn wrapped his strong arms around her and quickly leaned in to take her parted lips in his, closing his eyes as he did so. He didn't miss the gasp that escaped her mouth or the warmth that exploded from his chest just as he kissed her. Celine's lips tasted like chocolate, courtesy of the smoothie she had been drinking earlier.
Finn purred at the feeling of her body, the way it willingly meshed with his. His hands rested on her waist as he tilted his head to deepen his assault on her lips. Her fingers traced his face, sparking a flame within him as he softly bit her bottom lip in response.
“I love you.” He breathed out after slightly pulling back without opening his eyes, his forehead rested on hers as he repeated the honest truth of his heart. “I love you...”
He couldn't look at her. His fear wouldn't let him observe her reaction as he poured his heart out. “S-so much that it hurts... I've loved you since the moment I first saw you on Monday Night Raw, I wanted to run back to the gorrila and never show my face again because the though of you coming to see me when you hate this– all this...”
Celine shook her head, “I don't hate this...”
Finn smiled at her words and chuckled. She brought light into his heart and numbed the aching pain. The action caused her to grin. The tension between them slowly eased and she couldn't help but place a sweet kiss on Finn's lips. Not too long ago, he felt like crap and now he was the happiest man on earth because of her.
Finn took her hands in his as he looked into her glistening eyes. There was nothing more than he wanted than just to stay with her forever. There was nothing more he wanted than keeping her as his.
“When I first saw you, my heart raced faster than it ever has in my entire life. You made my mind halt and my senses almost shut down. I swear, i couldn't even hear the screaming fans all around us. All i could focus on was you, and only you.” he confessed, embarrassed as he looked down with a goofy smile and his cheeks even more flushed than they were.
Celine's face had gotten even more flushed as she listened to him, how she made him feel. And he continued to say, “And then I got to know you... I got to know how kind you are, I got to know about your weird obsession with The Originals, that you're extremely ticklish–” his fingers suddenly shifted about on her ribs, making her throw her head back while giggling.
After she calmed down, her hands were at his shoulders as she happily stared up to him, her teeth biting her bottom lip. “–that you can't stand small spiders, yet you can hold a snake. That your favorite flavor is caramel...”
His hands cupped her cheeks as he lovingly traced her face with his thumbs. “That you had your heart broken by someone you trusted, someone who had blind sighted you... I know that it's easy for you to fall in love and that you show it through small gestures like how your eyes would spark when you look at that person...”
If there were words to describe the way he made her feel when he said all that, she'd immediately say them. However, there weren't. In fact, words weren't necessary, for her emotions were clearly shown through her stunning tearful eyes.
This was exactly what she wanted to feel for so long. Pure shock could only describe the way her eyes widened when he finally dropped the bombshell on her.
Without looking away, or stammering, or becoming nervous, all because his feelings were pure and honest, Fergal finally confessed, “Celine, I love you.”
“I...” Her lips parted to speak, yet nothing came out, other than, “Y-You–”
Because he feared that she might not say it back, and because he didn't want to pressure her, Finn had to interrupt her, “You don't have to say it, I just wanted you to know–”
“I love you too.” Celine blurted out, covering her mouth with both hands as tears of joy spilled down her cheeks. Removing her hands, she spoke through giggles, “I love you too, Fergal.”
And all he could do was smile. His long time wish came true. He finally found the love of his life and she's standing right here, right in front of him, saying the immortal words.
She laughed as he pulled her closer once more and whispered, “You do realize this means that you're my girlfriend, right?”
“Yes, Ferg, I know.” she responded as her hands played with his hair before pulling him closer to kiss him deeply.
It was all over. The pain, the agony, the void was now filled with happiness. They no longer had to suffer being apart because of lies and deceit.
Or that's what Celine thought...
Because little did they know, Sasha Banks had just walked in from the locker room after getting geared up for her match and saw them; She saw the way Finn sighed in relief and grinned with his arms carefully, but firmly wrapped around her Celine's body like he would never let her go.
Sasha wanted that to be her, not some Brit brat who ran back to her ex whenever she got the chance.
Finn, who had been on cloud nine, had caught Sasha's harsh stare and immediately dropped his smile. He knew that look. He knew that she was angry. And he knew that when she was angry, bad things happened.
But he wasn't about to let go of the love of his life. If Sasha wants to hurt Celine, then she have to go through him first.
All he knows is that Sasha wouldn't risk people knowing about their drunken night because she's married. It would burn her more on a public scale, yes, but him? He'd lose Celine. Still, if Sasha won't do a public scandal, she's probably going to target Celine quietly.
Finn watched as she silently walked passed them and made her way to the gorrila area.
Talk about dramaaaaa☕
