We arrived at the party about 20 minutes early. When Molly let me in Irene was there.

"Nice to see you, Veronica how are you" Irene asked

"I'm doing fine I suppose. You?" I ask her

She shrugs "Alone and happy" she winks

Molly comes in the room from the kitchen "Let me show you both the dress!" she says

"Okay" Aunt H follows us and smiles. We go into Molly's room and she has her dress laid upon the bed. It's white with flowered prints around the top and the straps go around her neck, the bottom reaches her ankles and its laced with flowered patterns. It's soft silky feeling made me wonder if Sherlock and I were ever going to reach a point to marriage.

The case he wanted me to see was to be told tomorrow. So I relax trying to ignore my phone to see if Sherlock had texted me. I checked and he did

Mary arrives and she has a gift bag, and you wouldn't guess who arrived. Sherlock

"Sherlock what are you doing here?" Irene asks

"Sherlock..." I say putting my hand on my forehead

"Molly won't like that a boy showed up, when the invite said ladies only" Mary says

"What wrong everyone, is the food tray okay?" Molly asked looking at Sherlock "Sherlock what are you doing here?"

"Lestrade bores me" He said sitting on the chair across from the couch

"Well, I suppose you wouldn't mind playing truth or dare" Irene said laughing

"Sherlock, you need a case!" Aunt H said to him

"There all solved Mrs. Hudson. Bored. Lestrade needs to not be so boring" Molly shakes her head and goes over to Irene to talk to her.

I smile at Aunt H and I want to talk to Sherlock privately. I grab his hand and I go to the back bedroom with him

"Veronica, if your implying we should.." I shush him and I close the door

"No." I pause "Sherlock, what on earth are you doing here?"

"I came here because I'm bored" he said

"Bored? Go solve a case or something." I tell him

"I already did its boring and there to easy. "

"Then why did you come here?" I asked him

"You" he pauses

"Okay Sherlock, your supposed to be with the guys not me. I don't agree with what your going for honey"

"Going for? I think more fun would be here." he says

"Why?" I wanted to get him started

"OH ok this is you saying go ahead and deduce me. Veronica I know your alone and bored half the time with your aunt, your mom gets on your nerves due to your brother being more of a success in schooling....hmm your father's death did something to you. Its the reason you are attached to me and you constantly text me back when I start a conversation." He said clearing his throat.

"Sherlock you get me"I say to him

"Veronica? Sherlock are you two coming back or?" Mary asks at the closed door

"Yes, one moment. We already made a scene come on Sherlock" I grab his hand

"Were done?" He asks

Mary is still at the door "What are you two doing in there?" she asks

"Private? Molly why would you let either of them into your room?" We hear Irene ask

He opens the door and everyone in that living room was looking at us. "Hey guys" I scratch my head

"Okay so let's light your candle on the cake and everyone may have a piece. Then you Molly can open gifts" Aunt H says

"Molly looks unhappy" I tell Sherlock and Irene and Mary are eyeballing us as we talk to each other

"I think you should talk to her" I tell him

"I suppose" he mumbles "Molly"

"Sherlock?" She says

"You look upset." He says awkwardly

"Lestrade says his ex-wife came to into his home and left him a note"

"And he called her and is talking to her.."

"He's desperate, Lestrade thinks you are attracted to me." He pauses "No worries, he is just trying to see if your ready for marriage"
