Meet My Old Friend

~Final Part~

A minor spoiler from another story. Surprise crossover.

Robyn's POV

"Cause you know I'd walk a thousand miles
If I could just see you
If I could just hold you tonight"

We chuckled after we finish singing along with our favorite song from the radio in our mini blue while I was pulling up to the basement carpark of our workplace.

"Monday, I suppose to take a leave and back to here tomorrow. I don't want to see Mr. King," I blew a long sigh with pursed my lips.

My cutie giggled as she gently pinched my face and said, "Wake up now hun. We still need to get paid for our spending." she chuckled, "Especially we need to save more money for our upcoming big day."

I turned to her and made a straight face at her, "Said the workaholic." I smirked, "That's why you'll be our father of the house in the future, sugar baby. Ow!"

I call her sugar baby because she was richer than me and she is also the financial controller for us and our family in the future. Technically, if she was my sugar baby, I could be a full-time housewife. I had to call her sugar baby instead of sugar momma because she was younger than me.

That's her and my little secret.

I was joking. Everyone was surprised she was more mature than me. What could I say? Because she was the more careful type of person, unlikely me.

"That's hurt, sugar." I caressed the spot she pinched me as she was smirking at me, "I had told you, never call me like that. That's what you get whenever you call me like that." she pointed at me, "Even though I'm taller than you, or more dominate in our living, but don't think about the idea to be a full-time housewife."

She said sternly, "That. Is. A. No." her face soften, and said with a cute smile, "Because I want you to stick with me to work together for seeing each other anytime. Also, we can spend an hour for our lunch break together."

She hummed and she said with a passion, "Don't you think that's kind of sweet when we share the same journey for sending our kids to school and going to work together? And then, we back home and welcomed by our kids sending a lovely hug to us."

"Who is going to babysit them?" I asked.

Don't get me wrong. I friggin love my job. But, during our working time might need a babysitter.

"I already planned, we can get a babysitter. For our savings, I'm positive we have enough funds to get this." her face slightly tinted and said, "Besides, I already discuss it with our parents too. Do you know when did I discuss this with them?"

I gently caressed her face, "I know. Should be before you told me that you already planned for our wedding, right?"

She pressed her lips to hold her grinning and nodded her head.

I pecked her lips and smiled, "What did they say?"

"They agreed that they'd take the role to take care of our kids when we're working. Most of the time to take care of our kids will be our mums because they no working. I suggest hiring a maid to assist them. Do you think this sounds good for you, hun?"

"Sounds perfect for me, sugar." I took her hand and pecked the back of her hand and said, "Thank you." I grinned at her and chuckled, "You're so sweet."

We were startled a little when Abigail's phone was ringing. The screen was showing Mr. King's number." I quickly mute myself and waited for Abigail to pick up her phone, "Good morning, Mr. King. Yes? Sure, I already prepared and we can have the meeting on time as you expected."

I couldn't help but smile and admire my fiance who always being well prepared for her work.

"Penny for your thought?" my cutie flashed her dimples and pressed my dimple with her finger.

"Just having fairytales with my real princess." I winked at her and asked, "Shall we, sugar?"

"Absolutely," she chuckled.

We got off our car and I stretched my hand for her to hold while we already walked to the front of our car. She linked my hands and we walked to the elevator.

While in the elevator, we playfully swung our linked hands and smiled at our silliness. When the elevator reached level three, I knew is time for me to start working. We swung again to break our linked hand as I turned to face her before backward to leave the elevator and waved at her, "Later, sugar."

She chuckled and waved at me, "Bye, hun." with that, I watched the elevator's doors close and I turned to walk to my working place with a huge grin on my face and be ready to beat the Monday.

🍔🍔🍔

It was slightly late 5 minutes to meet my old friend who was a very on-time person. I always stress whenever I met her because she would either earlier half an hour of our expected time or 5 minutes earlier.

Of course, she was a very nice and patient person. She never complained I was late in. but she always tease me. She explained she prefers earlier to reach the place before meeting the person because she hates people waiting for her. So am I.

I chuckled when I saw she was engaging with her girlfriend who was taller than her a lot something like my cutie and me. The only difference, her girlfriend is slightly taller than my cutie and she's a blonde.

My old friend overall, the most similar was our height. I am always too happy to meet her. At least she was my companion sharing the same height, but she dislike people calling her tiny because she thought her height was normal and simply the people she met were taller than her a lot.

She was right, all of the people she knew were taller like giants. She complained she was always bullied by her best friend and her stepbrother. But, that was quite entertaining to watch them bully her. Deep down they love her.

I couldn't help, but I was grinning from ear to ear when I saw she kept smiling and sharing something with her girlfriend. I was happy for her that she officially met someone dearest to her.

I had occasionally met them a few times before, but I knew they were busy. I was grateful they willingly spare their time to meet me. I always appreciate and love my friends.

I knew this old friend since my previous job. I was stressed out and almost freak out to work under the horrible big head bald bastard. He loves to shout and bark at his employee.

I had no idea how she can handle this man. She found out I cried in the bathroom after harsh words from that bastard. She comfort me and even joke that treating him as he was singing a horrible song to me which was ears torturing to get paid.

We were not in the same department. She was one of the team leaders from the sales department. Whenever I complained about the toxic colleagues and that bastard to her, I would see my table either full of snacks or cupcakes from her.

I always send thank you notes to her. And I knew she was a food lover like me. So, I would occasionally buy food for her and she would squeal like a high school girl whenever she saw the food I bought for her.

She was a very caring and awesome friend of mine. That's why we would still keep in touch with each other. We text more than hang out. But, we still close like we used to be.

I always asked her why she always spoiled me and take care of me, she only told me because I was kind and sweet. I was melting with her kind words.

Most of the people thought we were together, but we were not. We just like each other as close friends and not romantics. When lesbians meet lesbians doesn't mean they would be together.

"Robyn!" my old friend squealed and grinned from ear to ear as she attacked me with a bear hug. I couldn't help but tighten my hug around her and squealed, "Meadow! Oh my god! It's been years didn't catch up with you."

We pulled away and we remained in our circle as she chuckled, "Not years, It's just for months, Rou Rou." She peeked around and asked, "Where's Abigail?"

"She's rushing her tasks and she would be late to join us," I lower my voice, "Also, she would after me an hour to join the lunch. So I could steal one more hour for our lunch break."

"That's a good plan. I should learn from you," she chuckled and she asked, "Do you wanna start discussions about the plan, or wait for Abigail?"

"We can proceed and I wanted to skip something from Abigail."

"Ah, some surprise to Abigail?" Meadow smirked.

"Of course, that's my plan. That's why she has to be late than me an hour. My excuse to her is because I want to spend more time with you guys." I turned to her girlfriend and greet her, "Hey Spencer."

She smiled softly and waved at me, "Hi, Robyn. Congrats to you."

"Thanks, Spencer. I hope I'll say the same to you very soon." I jested because I like to mess with her. She was a soft-spoken and quiet person.

Spencer only returned a chuckle with shook her head as I earned a light slap on my upper arm from Meadow, "Focus your topics, not us."

I laughed when I saw she bit her lips to contain her smile as her face slightly tinted. She cleared her throat, "Shall we?"

"Sure," I smiled with that we finally took our seats and started the discussion.

Meadow was an event planner, so I could refer to plenty of choices of the bridal dress shops, venue of the wedding celebration, decoration, foods, and anything related to a wedding from her.

I was thankful she offered to help me after she knew the news. But she insist on not taking any fees from us she said it was a special gift from her to us.

"We're so lucky to have a wedding cake and pastries from you, Spencer," Abigail said with a smile.

"I'm glad you are willing to accept my offer," Spencer said as she glanced at Meadow with a smile.

Meadow threw up her hands and defended, "I didn't say anything. I'm just being honest that Bake With Me is the best in town."

"What a supportive girlfriend." I jested as Meadow's face's tinted.

"I agree it's the best in town. I like their cakes and pastries. The order is always fully booked from there. We're lucky Spencer willing to spare her time for our order. Practically, I heard many of my friends say her booking is already full close to half of the year." Abigail explained.

"Someone'll be on cloud nine for enjoying the cakes on our big day," I teased Abigail because the bakery place was her most favorite. So, she practically was more than happy that our wedding cake and pastries from Bake With Me.

"Don't tell me you don't love it. You almost finish all the cupcakes and only left one for me." Abigail complained as the couple was laughing at us.

"I would never say no to food. I'm a food lover." I grinned as Meadow raised a hand for me to hi-five with her and I gladly hi-five to her. The taller girls were smiling with shook their heads at us.

A/N: I was thinking to suppose would only have a wedding scene as an epilogue of this story. But, my mind is full of upcoming chatpers. Be ready for some of the cheeky scenes. No worries not too much, but funny again as usual. ;)
