Yeah, It's Friday. Finally?

Well, I was not as giddy as before, perhaps I was a little upset that Abigail and I wouldn't see each other for at least two days before we back to work.

Think to the bright side, I was gonna have a break with my buddies after a few months with no beers. I was lying if I didn't miss drinking at all.

I smiled when I saw an email popped on my screen, Abigail Gonzalez. Her description from her email was clear and detailed, but...

I simply wanted to hear her voice.

I quickly made a call and she picked up very soon.

"Good morning, Finance Department speaking,"

"Good morning, Miss Gonzalez," I greeted.

"It's Abigail," She said I chuckled as I could picture that she corrected me with a slight frown.

"What's wrong? Miss Gonzalez sounds nice and professional," I teased.

"No, it sounds stress for me, Robyn,"

"Hey, It's Friday and you have to chill, Gonzalez,"

"Yea, you're right, Robyn Law Rou Bing," I cringed when I heard she called my full name.

"Ew, don't call me like that. You sound like my mum," I couldn't help but laugh when I heard she was giggling and she said, "That's a payback to you."

"Fine," I paused awhile and said, "Alright, there's something I wanna ask you."

"Shoot."

"I have read your email, but I just want to confirm with you again. So, I need to send this folder one to the customer service center, and for folder two I'll send it when they need further queries. Am I right?"

"Correct."

"Okay, I'll take note of that. Thank you for your patience."

"I should be the one thanks to you."

"It's my job, Gonzalez,"

"Sure, I gotta go, Law," Abigail said and seemed like in a hurry.

"Okay, see ya," I quickly said.

"See ya."

We ended our call as I sighed with a smile. It's time to work my ass off.

"Are you staying up late tonight?" I send a message to Abigail's WhatsApp.

"Yes, as usual" She replied with puppy eyes.

"How long will you stay in here?"

"Probably won't be late tonight. I'll be leaving around 9 pm."  

"Sure, I'll be leaving now. Take care, and don't stay up too late. See you."

"How nice I could be like you."

"Apply to our department. We have a vacancy, and here has so much fun."

"I'll think about it. I ttyl. I have a call."

"Bye! Happy Friday, Gonzalez."

I chuckled as I was thinking to get the favorite food she was craving for it, but I definitely hate that food. I checked my watch already past 6 pm as I quickly left my working place and drive to get the food before the stock was last.

I don't get it. Why was this kind of food as stinky as poop was damn popular? Especially pretty girls' favorite. I almost puke when I smell it, but I already wrapped it securely and the smell won't that horrible.

I reached Heaven level as I sat on the long table, place the stinky food on the table. I prepared my phone as I unwrapped the pack of food, I hold my breath and took a picture of it.

I quickly wrapped the food and I breathed with a sharp gasp. After my breathing was steady, I type the message and sent the picture to Abigail.

"Guess what, Gonzalez? Take a break, and have stinky tofu. See you in Heaven."

"Seriously, Law? How did you get this on time? This is fast selling food. I'll be there in 5."

I heard the sound of a dinge from the elevator, I knew it was the sign of the cutie appearing. Her face was gleeful as she walked pretty fast toward my seat.

Damn! How I wish her face was like that when she saw me instead of the poopy food.  

Soon, her lavender's fragrance engulfed me as she said with a hint of excitement, "Thanks for this. I have been craving for it." she turned to me and smiled at me sheepishly, "I think I'll take it back to my place to eat later."

"Are you sure your mates will be fine for it? I'm worried they might pass out when you started eating the food." I chuckled at her and added, "It's okay. Here has better air circulation and I still can stand I guess."

"I feel bad for you. Do you want to go back first?" Abigail said with a soft smile but her face seemed a little sad.

"Nah, I'll stay here for a while. It's okay, just eat before the food turns cold. I'll just cover my nose if you don't mind about that." I reassured her.

"Just let me know If it's too smelly," She said.

I nodded my head and quickly cover my nose with my palms, "Okay, I'm ready."

She carefully unwrapped the food as the strong smell of the food-filled up the area. Okay, it was not that bad, my hands already filtered the smell. I should wear a face mask. I was an idiot.

"Wait, I'll get a facial mask," I informed as I quickly walked near the smoking booth to take two pieces of facial mask to put on my face and returned to the table.

"It's so much better now. I was so stupid. I should wear it when I was going to buy it." I complain.

Abigail giggled as she said, "You're not. You're just negligent to yourself. Because you always think for the others before you."

"Not really, Gonzalez," I said.

"You see Law. You told me you hate stinky tofu, but you know I love this food and you've spent all the way to get this tofu to me. You're selfless." she slipped the strand of the hair behind her ear as she continued to eat the tofu.

"What if I tell you that I do all of these mainly to make you happy for keeping you. I'm selfish you know because I don't want to lose a good friend like you." I said truly.

Her blue eyes twinkled in the dimmed light as she grinned, "I'm glad you are being selfish in this way. That's means you appreciate me as your friend."

How could be this girl not only cute, but her words were so sweet to me.  

I was overwhelmed with her words as I quickly swallowed the knot down.

Pulled yourself up, Robyn. Don't be an idiot cry baby. 

Geez! I hate myself was a sensitive animal.

I cleared my throat as I quickly lightened up the mood, "See, a good person like you deserves a favorite meal after a long hour of work. So, will you go home after this? Or you will stay up for a little while?"

"I'll go home after this. I have enough for today. I'll work tomorrow." she said with a smile.

"Oh, you will work on Saturday too? You're hardworking. Our place is not open on weekend. How do you go in?" I asked curiously.

"I already inform Mr. King and he said I just inform the security to open the door for me." She explained.

"This company is so lucky to have a hardworking person like you."

"This is the way for me picking up the pace for my job. I know I can get it." She said in determination.

Oh, I gotta love this face!

"Okay, don't spend so much time on your works. You need to have a break in your weekend."

"Will do, I still have Sunday." She smiled.

She finally finished the poopy food and clear them in the trash. She indicated our favorite spot as I stood up and we walked to the spot and sat.

We sighed as I smelled her minty breath. She was thoughtful. We were silent for a while and this was our first time sitting here in the nighttime. Also, this was my first time spending here in the nighttime. Because I usually already dash to home when the time past 5 pm. 

"Do you mind if I rest here?" Abigail indicated my shoulder as I blinked my eyes and hummed at her.

"Can I rest my head on your shoulder? I wanna take a rest before I go home," She said.

"Y-yea, sure." I patted my shoulder as she rested her head on it. She sighed and said softly, "I feel so good to rest like this. Wake me up if I fall asleep."

"I'd like to. But, I can't carry you," I said with a chuckle.

She giggled and said, "I'm not that heavy, Robyn."

"You ain't heavy, but your height is towering me. So, a little dwarf like me can't carry you."

"You're not a dwarf. We only have 2 inches different. Somewhere around there, right?"

"How tall are you? You look like 6ft tall."

"No, I'm not a giant. I'm only 5 ft 7."

"Still tall for me."

"How tall are you?"

"5 ft 3."

She slightly lift her head and asked, "Really?"

"Yea, perhaps I wear high heels. So, I look slightly taller."

She rested her head on my shoulder again and said, "It's nice. Your height is just right."

"Right, my heights are average height for ladies."

She chuckled and said, "I'm thinking how will you react if your lover asks you for a kiss after they ate stinky tofu."

I laughed, "I'll push them away."

She asked, "Seriously? That might be hurt for them. I'll be sad for them."

I hummed, "Will see, if the lover is a cutie I don't mind. Just no tongue."

"Is that mean you will push them away if they are not a cutie?"

"It can be."

"No way. That's unfair," she said with a hint of upset

"Why are you so concerned about that?" I chuckled.

"I'm just curious. Nothing much," she said in a very small voice which sound cute.

"Well, if the person is my lover, of course is a cutie. I will never say no to my only cutie though." I said truly.

"The person might be lucky to have you," she said with a hint of a smile.

"Nah, if the person with me will feel boring. I won't do much for seasoning the outing or dates and so on."

"Romance can be simple. Just being comfortable and spending time with the person you love is content."

"That's nice if everyone thinks like you," I smiled.

"Things can always be simple," She said.

"I agree and I love it," I grinned.

I checked my watch it was already past nine and I gently patted her head and I felt her red hair was soft. I said, "It's already past nine. Even though I enjoy spending time with you like that, but I felt bad to keep you. Are we leaving in a while?"

She snuggled closer to me and said, "Can you let me spend another 5 minutes with you before we leave?"

I chuckled, "Anything for you. Any song you wanna listen to before we leave?"

"Your turn this time," she said softly.

I slipped my hand into my slack pants pocket to take out my phone, carefully plugged in the earbud to her ear, and then mine as I chose the song for us. When the song started running as I chuckled, "Don't laugh at the taste of my song, okay."

She shook her head on my shoulder, "Hey, it's a great song. I like Lenka."
