In order to ensure that the initiative is well fulfilled and its aura and magnificence be sensed by everyone in the kingdom of orange, we have set some rules and guidelines. Do know that any deviation from these rules will lead to your nominations left cancelled and your votes removed.

RULES

1. A user can only nominate three stories/authors per category. Any extra nominations will be deleted.

2. Please nominate in the next chapter using inline commenting through PC or mobile. The comment should look like this for each category: "The Magician: Serpent Kiss by belitam" . Further guidelines are given below.

3. Please add THE CRYPTIC AWARDS to your reading list and library to get notified of any updates. You can also follow us to see our announcements on your newsfeed.

4. We cannot stress this enough: Please, make sure that you nominate the correct book/author next to the right category. Mismatched nominations will be deleted.

5. Nomination of your own book is allowed.

6.You cannot nominate the same book more than once. Please make sure you nominate three different books for each category.

7. The book does not have to be complete, but it must have at least five chapters to qualify.

8. If you see that a book you want to nominate has already been nominated, please do not hesitate to nominate it again. The book needs all the love it can get to qualify for the next round.

9. Know that this is CRYPTIC AWARDS, the celebration of DARK literature. Dark Literature essentially means a piece of writing which contains thrilling, mysterious and goose bumps giving components with dark characters/place/plot somewhere in the story.

- Please do not nominate books written by Cryptic members. We want this award to be free from bias.

GUIDELINES

1. Since the theme is tarot cards, we have decided some such cards corresponding to the genres/categories we have. For example, The Magician is a tarot card for Best Dark Fantasy.

2. To nominate, follow these steps-
i. Enter your inline comment to the picture which shows like one given below

ii. Ensure your comment looks like: "The Magician: Serpent's Kiss by Belitam". It'd be highly appreciated if you tag at least three of your friends/acquaintance along with the comment so that the word spreads far and beyond.

For antagonist/protagonist nominations, the comment , for example, if made for best protagonist must look like "The Chariot: Character Name from Book Name by @username"

Nominations not following the rules would unfortunately get deleted in order to ensure we work in an orderly manner.
