***Takemichi's Pov***

" Ugh! I'm so tired!" I groaned while walking around the city. Though it is a good thing that I packed some necessities, especially water cause screw the weather forecaster sometimes. Cloudy my ass, it is sunny and it's fucking hot!

I stopped at some shady alleyway and drank some water. Looking around the surroundings to see so many people, not to mention bystanders though they are delinquents. Glad that I was to find an empty alleyway cause I'm not in the mood to fight.

After some rest, I continued on my journey to find Kaku-chan! Though at the same time, I didn't want to cause mixed emotions.

During his sudden disappearance, it was just me and grandma...not that grandma's boring and all but I didn't have any more friends to play outside, feeling lonely without him. I mostly hate our neighbourhood, especially some of the bratty kids who think they're strong or cool. And then there's Masaru, my cousin, God have I always wanted to end him but he's my cousin. Good thing grandma doesn't like his guts either and is disappointed at his parents for raising him into a spoiled brat.

" Oi! Losermichi!" Speak of the devil, forcing myself to face one of the people I despised.

" Hello, Masaru..." smiling bitterly at the sight of him, restraining myself to beat the crap of him.

" Rude, It's Masaru-san. Get it right Losermichi." He 'corrected' me. The urge to hit him was growing but controlled me cause I wanted him to get lost.

Giving out a sigh in defeat as I opened my mouth.

" Hello, Masaru-san. What brings you here?"

" Much better,"

' THIS SON OF A BITCH!'

" Just say what you want from me again?" I asked, slightly pissed off plus, he's too prideful and dumb to see it.

Then, he slung an arm around my shoulder with a smirk.

" Say little cuz... My bike broke,"

' You mean my stolen bike.'

" And I need to pay the repairs, unfortunately, Mom and Dad aren't around to pay for it and Grandma passed away sad—"

" Sorry but my bike broke too and too lazy to send them for repairs." I cut him off cause every word in his mouth just pissed me off, not to mention his bad breath. God! When was the last time he brushed his teeth? A lot of guys in the gang have great hygiene than this degenerate one.

" Can I have so—"

" And I'm not giving you any money."

" Stop cutt—"

" I'm leaving." I picked up my pace and started to walk faster, only to find myself getting chased by him.

" Hey wait, Losermichi!" Ignoring his words and continued to run away. I could see him farther and farther away since I'm a fast runner, unlike him.

After running for at least another kilometre away, I was exhausted and drank some water while wiping my sweat with some tissues. Looking around to see ' No annoying cousin' and a bench with shade, then immediately went to take a breather.

Resting myself for about ten minutes, I continued to walk around the city in search of Kaku-chan. Asking around the people for some directions on any orphanage, all in a while visiting them only to find no records of his name.

" I'm sorry little girl but there's no record of Kakucho Hitto here, there's another orphanage just a kilometre away over there." The receptionist said while pointing in which direction before going back to her work. A frown expression carved on my face.

' No luck again... Just where could he be?'

I thanked the receptionist and followed her directions.

While walking, I noticed a fight going on and could see five people ganging up on one person who oddly looks familiar. Although, instead of feeling pity for the guy and wanting to help him, my gut was telling me don't get involve and would cause deja vu. Fortunately, my morals kicked and I ran to them by giving a kick on one of the gang. The four had a shocked expression, only to be replaced with anger.

" YOU BITCH!" One of them said before charging at me. Swiftly dodging his slow attack then knocking him out by chop on the neck. The remaining members approached me altogether but soon got knocked out, all of them laying on the ground.

I turned to face the victim, only to stop dead in my tracks with a blank expression. And my mind and gut mocked me by saying 'I told you so'.

" ...Losermichi...?"

' I hate life...'

" Goodbye." I quickly said and started to walk away.

" H- Hey! Wa-wait... Losermichi... Oi!" I hear him approaching me so I ran, unfortunately for me, he caught up and stopped me.

" Just wait Losermichi!"

" Is that how you talk to the one who saved you?"

" I didn't ask for help, they just ambushed me. I was perfectly fine till you showed up. So you owe me an apology."

' Idiot, you couldn't even lay a punch at them.'

" Whatever, I just thought you were someone else in need of help."

I expected him to leave me alone but no, he stayed and kept whining about how I ruined his chance on beating those guys cause he's 'Older', an immature spoiled brat, 'Wiser', A big dumbass than Yamagishi or Kisaki, 'Kind', the scar you gave me says otherwise, 'Generous', My stolen items that he broked can testify, 'Smarter', Baji and Mikey are typing, 'Superior', became one of Kiyomasa's slaves even dragged my friends, 'Cooler', the broken ac in grandma's house says otherwise, 'Stronger', Shion Madarame is typing, 'Great Leader', True gang leaders are typing, 'Richer', Kokonoi is typing, 'Popular', ever heard of fake friends only chasing for money, 'Girls love him', All I saw was air and 'Handsome', buy some moisturizers.

" You ruined my reputation! Baka Losermichi! You're the worst of the worst!! The worst!" I continued to ignore him and continued on my journey.

" I'm telling Mom and Dad!"

" This is why no one in the family likes you!"

" I don't get why Grandma likes you! You're an outcast!"

" A loser of all losers! You're the antagonist!"

" You're no hero! You don't even have friends!"

After some torturous walk due to my cousin's whiney mouth. I wanted to yell at him to shut up cause most of them triggered some of the timeline memories. The migraine was too much to handle but he continued talking and even screamed like a bitch.

" Can't you just go home already?" I asked while touching my head giving some light massages to ease the pain.

Does he ever stop? No, he fucking won't.

He continued berating me, this time shouting of how much of a nuisance my existence is in this world. Not like he's wrong though...

' THIS IS ALL YOUR FAULT!!!'

That Chifuyu's scream triggered, causing my eyes to widen and stop in my tracks with my cousin following.

" Oi! Losermichi, move those slow tiny legs of yours!"

' Shut up, please!'

" Tch. Can't even follow a simple order."

' Can't you see that I'm in pain! Just please shut up!'

" Oi! Losermichi!"

' Leave me alone! Please, just let me be!'

Controlling the pain, I looked at Masaru who's just standing like some cool delinquent which he isn't. Not to mention, that bracelet he's wearing was supposed to be a gift that grandma would've given to Kaku-chan. Grandma was heartbroken from that and it was one of the reason's why she won't let him in her house. Did his parents do anything, like punish him? No, they didn't do jack-shit even if he was proven guilty by grandma.

I scoffed at him then started to walk again, still ignoring his blabbering mouth and imagining it as those motorboats.

I could finally see the said orphanage, only to encounter a gang fight. Masaru and I watched in horror to see a duo, whom I'm familiar with, beating up two people. As far as I remembered, these two killed their leader with the vice leader critically injured and took over Roppongi, right?

Not to mention, that long hair with Black and Yellow colours and that other one with Blonde hair and blue streak highlights...

' Motherfucker! How could I forget that here in Roppongi, is where the Haintani brother lives and conquer!'

We continued to watch the brutality, Masaru was covering his eyes, only to take small peaks at the sight. I watched in disgust and recalled another memory encountering these brothers, especially that Bonten Timeline — I hate that timeline. Also, Ran's hair without his usual pigtails is just... wow, oddly adorable. I want to braid them! Lol.

" Hey! Just who are you punks?!" Crap, one of the men saw us. Masaru squeaked in fear then hid behind me like the coward he is. At least six men approached us, being ferocious and ready to devour their prey.

" Masaru! Teme! I thought you're strong!"

" But they're huge!"

" Tch!"

' And so was my encounter with Benkei, Taiju, Mucho and South! You damn coward!' Soon after, I was facing them while getting ready to fight.

***3person Pov***

The Haitanis are still beating up the ruler of Roppongi, only to stop when they heard ramblings on some newcomers. They stopped to see two people having beef with their now gang members, a boy hiding behind a girl?

" Hey Rindou, who are those two?"

" No Idea but they're about to get beaten up."

" Should we interfere?"

" Maybe?"

Though they didn't move an inch, instead decided to watch everything unfold, after declaring that Roppongi's theirs. The fallen commander and vice, were dragged away and to be sent to the nearest hospital and all of the members dispersing by their command.

Ran wanted to intervene though, only to stop when the girl beat them up all together leaving six unconscious bodies. Both of them were impressed at her fighting style as she handled it with such grace, not to mention wearing a dress plus, she was cute too.

They approached the two newcomers and right before their very eyes is a Goddess. She looked at them in confusion before acting so flustered that it's cute.

" I'm very sorry if I disrupt you guys! I was only defending my cousin and me, please forgive us!" Rambled the girl while bowing down in a respectful manner and grace. She even forced her companion to bow down to them.

"It's no worries miss, quite the show you gave us. Take it as compensation for piquing our interest. Though I recommend to never walk in a gang fight." Said the braided guy, giving off his usual lazy smirk.

Takemichi remembered the Tenjiku timeline and the deaths of Kisaki, Izana and Emma. Those haunt her so much that she didn't sleep despite consuming five sleeping pills, those didn't work. When Hina learned this, she and the informed Mizo group got her a lot of scented candles to sleep peacefully. It did work for some time before thrashing her bed, waking up by screaming 'No' out loud.

The Haitanis are one of the gang members she's been avoiding for the past few timelines, as they weren't that relevant on her mission.

That's when it changed after time travelling to save Mitsuya and Smiley from getting ambushed. She was now facing the Heavenly Kings of Tenjiku, lucky for her, Izana and Kakucho weren't around since her main priority was to save the Toman captains. All of them attacked her and she wasted no time to defend herself while running away carrying the two captains.

And on the battlefield,  Takemichi wasn't present as she was unconscious for getting hit by Kisaki using a metal bat to save Emma. With a bloodied head, Takemichi forced herself to wake up then directly ran to where the war was being held and despite Emma's cries for her to stop, she ignored it and continued for her mission.

On the battlefield, Haitanis were defeated by Smiley and Mitsuya as revenge for the ambush with zero casualties. She sighed in relief that none of them got hurt, especially Hakkai and Angry.

She will never forgive them for ruining Hakkai's pretty face and for making Angry cry, even though it was weirdly a good thing.

Another timeline was the Bonten one, one of her worst nightmares that twenty scented candles weren't enough. All she knows is that the Haitanis were part of the gang and when she visited them, it came off awkward not like they were her priorities.

Extra encounters with them are usually from Roppongi, it was the time were she and Chifuyu investigated Kisaki on his whereabouts at a repeated Tenjiku timeline, when she went shopping with Emma and Hina that almost turned into a store massacre, a Night Karaoke with Hanma on a future timeline and they suck at singing and the time where she got shot by Ran on a future timeline with Rindou killing Naoto under Kisaki's orders, before quickly going back in the past.

The girl then stood up straight and just the sight of her got cupid to strike at them. The Haitanis would've been lying if they said that 'Angels' aren't real. Look who's in front of them now.

" I am very sorry again. We didn't mean to run into a gang fight... You s—" She was cut off when her cowardly cousin, decided to come out of his shell.

" Who the hell are you guys?!" He rudely snapped, as if he forgot what they did. The Haitanis were in shock and disgusted to see an ugly creature covering the angel.

" Teme Masaru! Shut up!" The angel scolded while pulling this 'thing' away from their personal space.

" How many times have I told you that it's 'Masaru-san', where are your manners?! I'm older than you."

" Just shut up for once! You're making it worse! I am very sorry on behalf of my cousin's attitude, he's just an idiot."

' Huh?' The three of them look at her in shock, as if they heard something ridiculous.

" Did you just say, Cousins?"

" Did you just call me an idiot?"

" Yes and Yes." She calmly answered. This sent got their minds to short circuit and trying to process her words.

" How could an angel like you, be related to this 'thing' right here?" Asked the blonde male with blue streaks, even pointing at the 'thing' mentioned.

" I wonder that as well..." agreed on the tall lanky man, inspecting the two alleged 'cousins'.

" The appearance is uncanny, say what's your name lady? My name's Ran Haitani, the new ruler of Roppongi and next to me is my little brother Rindou, another ruler of Roppongi." Introduced Ran and his brother Rindou, who just gave a small wave.

" Oh... Please to meet you. My name's Ake—"

" Wrong. Your name's Lo— Ack!" Masaru winced at the pain on his foot as his cousin stepped on to shut him up. He glared at her but she ignored it, making him furious for embarrassing him from these cool dudes and wanted to be part of ruling Roppongi.

( Bitch... You're way too out of their league man.)

" I'm sorry. My name's Akemi and my older cousin Masaru-san, please to meet you Ran-san and Rindou-san." She bowed down, making the brothers adore her.

" No need for formalities Ake-chan~ Also, stand up." said Ran with Rindou nodding his head as 'Akemi' followed.

" Thank you so much. Ran-chan and Rin-chan!" She smiled making her glow like the sun. Ran was turning blind and Rindou had to remove his glasses. Of course, there's the 'thing' that ruins it.

" Pfft— Losermichi, give more respect to their names. You guys aren't even close." Masaru blurted, acting so "cool" in front of the Haitanis. Seeing Akemi frown and apologize for her "rudeness" made their blood boil. Screw the system if their cousins, he needed to be taught a lesson.

" Oi Masaru was it?" Ran called with his usual lazy smile, getting Akemi's cousin's attention. Masaru was ecstatic to see that he's going to get acknowledged, he's just that delusional honestly.

" Yeah, wassup?"

" What's with that nickname 'Losermichi'?"

" Oh, that! It's what I call her for being such a loser..." He laughed while proceeding on telling her imperfections and all those hurtful words that made her look smaller, she's also not in the mood to fight especially when the migraine came back.

" You ok?" Rindou, being the closest to her, asked.

" I'm fine..."

" Doesn't seem like it, do you always let him talk down on you?"

" I know that I'm better than him, so his words are nothing to me. It's just that he won't shut up and it's giving me a migraine."

" I see. What's your relationship with that cousin of yours? You both seem incompatible to each other."

" Yeah, we don't actually. He just loves to pick on people who are smaller and weak-looking. I hate him for all the things he did like stealing my stuff making it his that they ended up destroyed, the money that my grandma has on her account when his parents gave " small cash", he also got the goal to steal her stuff that's why he's banned on entering grandma's property, loves being with the popular kids...and so much more. Sorry for my rambles Rindou..."

" Nah, don't worry about it. Don't like your cousin anyways, he's way out of our league." This got her to smile, it's no surprise as they're not dumb.

" By the way, you said that he stole your stuff and some of your grandmother right?" She nodded her head, making him smirk as he eyed her cousin.

" I'm going to guess that bracelet he's wearing is one of the items he stole, right? It just looks too beautiful to be worn by someone ugly as him~"

" I kinda wanted it back... But he'd tell his parents and I don't want any trouble."

Rindou nodded his head then approached his brother, to whisper something in his ear before going back to Akemi's side.

" What did you do?" Whispered the girl on Rindou's ear.

Instead of answering, he just smirked and pointed at his brother. Akemi looked at Ran smiling at her, giving a wink before facing her cousin again.

" Hey, Masaru..."

" ...Yeah?"

" That's a cool bracelet~ Where'd you get it?" Asked the taller brother and Masaru being that prideful idiot, told him lies.

" Nice, Can I see? I wanted to see the quality up close cause I'm interested in buying it." Akemi's cousin didn't think twice and gave the bracelet to Ran. With the bracelet in hand, Ran pretended to "admire" it and before he could give it back. He instead turned to give it to Akemi.

" Huh?"

" Look Ake-chan, Found it at the lost and found bag~" Ran gave her the bracelet with Masaru being shocked from the background.

" Oh... T-Thank you... I— I— " She felt the urge to cry. The bracelet that she and her grandmother tried to bring back was finally in her grasp.

" Thank you so much! This means a lot to me and grandma!" Her overwhelming emotions made her forget who the Haitanis were on such timelines. Without thinking, she hugged them both as tears poured out of her eyes making her vision blurry.

The brothers were surprised, not only from the sudden hug... it was her crying face that made her look so fragile and too innocent for this corrupted world. Her blue eyes, as clear as the water poured out like a fountain that they wanted to drown in. Ran then used the sleeves of his sweater to wipe away the tears, whereas Rindou whispered some soothing words in her ears.

( Wish you were Takemichi now huh? Not me, cause I wish to be those Haitanis for being able to comfort Michi)

The crying stopped and Akemi was able to compose herself. She thanked them once again, as the brother just waved it off saying ' No worries'. She turned to face her cousin, looking at her with jealousy? And Rage? What did she do to make him like that? Nothing is her fault anyway.

" By the way, what are you doing at Roppongi?"

" Oh... I was just looking for my friend at every orphanage in town and Roppongi's my last resort..." She shyly explained, making their hearts flutter but hid them well.

" Oh~"

" Is that so~?"

" Well, since you guys live here... Are there more orphanages here? I'm going to visit what the last receptionist told me." 

" How about we accompany you instead~?" Ran suggested. And Takemichi being Takemichi, that didn't want to burden their time, rejected that idea.

Ran pouted but that didn't stop him to be so persistent that Rindou joined in too. Leaving no choice, she said agreed.

The three of them walk away, completely forgetting Masaru in the background.

They did it intentionally.

I honestly dunno what kind of character Masru (Takemichi's older cousin) is so I had to give a personality from the little description he was given.

Not that I like him anyways, He's the reason why the Mizo got beaten up.

Also... Yes, Michi meets the Haitanis.

In my opinion, the Haitanis are pretty irrelevant to the story. There's not much personality or character trait on them... so like the others, I kinda tried to give them more screentime and make them appear more while giving some more lore.

Maybe on some other chapters, plus this story plot will be slow.

Btw... One the 'Stronger, Shion Madarame is typing' part. I placed that cause both of them are weak and effing cowards, though the difference is that Shion has style and can fight a little decent, unlike Michi's cousin.

Oh... And the title was intentional.
