*** Takemichi's Pov***

" Ugh..." Groaning awake to see myself on the bed. Within seconds, I finally realized the position I am in.

' Oh right... I missed the meeting. Great, Hopefully, nothing bad happened while I'm away.' Even if it's natural still can't help but worry for everyone, especially with Maxe and Macey involve. God, I sound like a parent taking care of children. Doesn't help that every time I turn around disaster strikes. Checking my phone to see a bunch of missed calls from the others which annoyed me greatly. I swear, one more spam and I'm blocking these numbers— except for this one.

Finally out of bed, I walked out of the room to take a shower before changing some clothes. A few minutes later, I got another message coming from the same person.

To: Sapphire
From: Macey

Sup~! Ready?

I sighed before messaging back.

To: Macey
From: Sapphire

Almost, I'm borrowing one of your old pants that should fit me. Thanks for letting me borrow them.

Without a second, he messaged back.

To: Sapphire
From: Macey

Why borrow when you can have them? It's yours since some of them don't fit and you're welcome. Now, continue being a handsome lad and get over here. ; )))

I rolled my eyes at his message then finishes changing using his clothing that fit. Finally out of the house, I walked to the train station and then continue walking. Scanning around an isolated area, a familiar tall man-bun guy waving his hands around. Sighing in disbelief before smiling, I approached him and then did our famous handshake ending a fun insult.

" Ready for our date?" I laughed before giving a small punch on his shoulder.

" The only thing I'm here for is your sister." He pretended to feel hurt, placing a hand on his chest.

" Not even a consideration? Ouch, I'm hurt~ Hey! I and my sister are the same people!"

" No, Studies show that even if the twins are the same there's always a difference between them." He dramatically faints as if there's a new revelation. I gave a small kick to his body then laughed. " Alright, Play time's over. We're not going to waste Maxe's patience." He got up and then opened the door for me.

" Bros' first~," He said winking at me. I only responded by rolling my eyes in sarcasm.

' This goofball reminds me of my gang and Chifuyu. Speaking of him, I should bring back my partner and crime.'

As we entered we were greeted by his twin and a guest. Immediately, my expression changed once we locked eyes on each other.

" Hanagaki Takemichi..."

" Tetta Kisaki..."

We both said despite growing the tension. Taking a seat in front of him, still locking eyes.

" Let's cut to the chase, Kisaki. I'd like to discuss your obsession with Hi—" I was cut off by Kisaki, who slammed his fist on the table.

" You took her away from me" He growled while gritting his teeth in fury. It's the same one when we had our 1v1 match on the Tenjiku war. I sighed knowing this would happen, especially how insane this guy is.

" I'm sorry..." His expression changed in confusion at what I said.

" I know you both went to cramp school together and how much you adore her or you were first. I pity you, Kisaki cause Hina chose me... A nobody with zero ambitions and a wannabe Hero who thinks can save everyone. Whereas you, a prodigy and a genius who's been pushed back by everyone have a chance with her..." Shit! The memories of Hina's death triggered and are replaying in my mind. My patience is running thin... Shit! Shit! Shit! I was about to go crazy when a hand was placed on my shoulder. My gaze locked on Maxe who was focused on watching the both of us but I knew she was comforting me given the small pat on my shoulder. Clearing my throat after taking a quick breather, going back to gaze at my 'rival'.

" As I was saying, I want you to understand from her perspective. Also, some advice, go and confess to her to see if you still have a chance." Silence filled the room as Kisaki's glare reverted into confusion.

" ... What?"

" You heard me. Go confess while you still have a chance. Don't worry, I'll back away and let you both have a moment. If she rejects you then call us so we can have some barbecue, Macey's treat."

" Why?"

" Hmm?"

" Why are you doing this?" Seeing Kisaki's hands tremble as he didn't expect this outcome, I decided to reach for a hand.

"As I said, I pity you. Plus, I think everyone needs a chance. There are other people to fall in love with and you can even hang out with us, so you won't feel lonely. What do you say, Friend?" Kisaki was out of words though it was evident that he was contemplating whether to take it or not. We gave him a few minutes to process everything with my hand still reaching out for him. Eventually, he took my hand giving me a small shake.

" Alright, I'll take your word for it..." his mouth twitched forcing words to come out of his. " ...F-Friend..." Macey and I smile while Maxe gave a thumbs-up.

" Aye, ~ Let's go! The more the merrier! Welcoming Group hug!" Mace cheered grabbing all of us into a hug. Maxe is unaffected, I was laughing but Kisaki looks dead— clearly suffocating, poor guy.

( Takemichi: Author, I thought we agreed that this will be the last time Kisaki will get hurt.

Ahahahahahahhahah! Peace was never an option.

Kisaki: This is why you're on my #1 hit list.

Yet you still fail to kill me~ 🖕🎶)

" Macey, you're killing him."

" I know"

" Let go..."

" Never!"

It took us a while to stop Macey from suffocating Kisaki, who started coughing and breathing again.

" I hate you" he declared but the twin only laughed at the zero threat.

" Can't hate me forever~ babe" He winked making Kisaki cringe before walking behind me.

" Save me from this monstrosity, please!" I laughed then fully covered him from Macey.

" You'll get used to it bro, Don't worry." He wasn't convinced and then kept hiding away from Macey.

' Aww~ Look a scared boy.' That is what I wanted to say. This went well as expected guess the plan worked.

***3rd person Pov***

Hina is presented in a fountain area near the park, patiently waiting for a certain guest. She was feeling nervous when Takemichi texted her to meet someone that wants a private conversation. Although she reassured her that she'll be fine and guarded, still felt a little nerve-wracking.

" Umm... Hina..." turning around face to face gazing at each other. One was surprised while the other showed nervousness.

Kisaki started to clear his throat as this was his moment fear of rejection was evident on his face. Takemichi's advice echoed in his mind that helped him calm down.

" Oh Kisaki, it's been a while now. How have you been?" She greeted with her usual sunny smile, the smile Kisaki fell in love with. Almost lost in thought, he cleared his throat again reminding himself about the opportunity.

" Hello Hinata, I- uh came here to tell you something... Uh..." He stuttered out and almost beat himself.

( Ahahahahahah! Look at you stuttering like a fool!

Takemichi: *Hits Author with a slipper directly on the head* We're doing a peace treaty here.

*Rip Author* 💀)

Hina waited patiently as her nervousness died down. " ... You?"

Kisaki broke out of his stutters and then took a deep breath, He exclaimed " I LIKE YOU, HINA! PLEASE GO OUT WITH ME!" There, he finally had the balls to say it.

Kisaki: I hate you

Hina was silent as she tried to process the revelation. Her mouth twitched trying to find the words in response. Taking a deep sigh as she finally found them.

" I'm sorry Kisaki but there's someone I'm dating. Though, I respect you for having the courage to confess. Hopefully, we stay as friends and you're able to find someone who's compatible." Kisaki lowered his head, he wanted to persuade her but knew better than the will rise and lose Hina. As much as he wanted to take her with force, voices inside his head told him otherwise. Those voices belonged to Maxe, Macey and lastly Takemichi.

' Take it as a lesson on reality. It's not even the end of the world, you still have time to grow.'

' If you ever need help feel free to ask, friend! Also, you gotta improve those dark thoughts of yours. Time to turn over a new leaf, my dude!'

' Kisaki it's not your fault and I apologize on the behalf of the people who treated you wrongly. Also, I shall forgive you for the plans that you're going to exploit. Hope you'll understand. You just needed a friend to escape the loneliness.' Takemichi's words left him curious but guessed it was to help him step out of the darkness and the bubble that he created. However, he couldn't help but felt like something was foreshadowing. Shaking that feeling off and only remembering his goal. He raised his head and gaze at Hina as his lips formed into a smile.

" Thank you for responding to my confession. May you and your lover live a happy life." He bowed down and then immediately left, leaving Hina alone. The girl was going to chase after him but decided to leave him be and hope to take care of himself.

Kisaki quietly went to an alleyway, there stood the three who finished spying on them and he knew.

" So... How'd it go, dude?" Macey was the first one to take the approach. The next thing they saw was tears flowing from his eyes. The male twin immediately comforted him alongside the other two. They let him cry for a while before spouting words of encouragement. Slowly and patiently they invited him to the promised barbecue as friends- even the Mizo group was invited. It took Kisaki to get used to this new atmosphere, it was chaotic but in a good way.

" By the way Kisaki..." Kisaki turned to face the owner of the voice.

" Yeah?" He asked.

" How did the twins take you?" Hearing that question, he immediately glared at the twins— specifically at Macey, who heard the conversation and ended up looking smug.

" You see that man-braid fuck boy twin over there?" He pointed at the said 'Man-braid fuck boy twin' whose grin was as wide as a Cheshire cat. " He randomly barged into my house and then put me in a sac." Kisaki spat while gritting his teeth. Everyone looked at Macey with a 'seriously dude' face. Except for his twin who always had a poker face and never paid attention.

Macey only laughed before taking another barbecue, " I have no regrets cause it was worth it." They sighed in defeat.

' At least it was effective' They all thought before continuing with their little party. They welcomed Kisaki as their 'friend' and finally, he gave in and then enjoyed his time— with his found friends.

After the party, everyone departed. Unfortunately for Kisaki, he ended up getting escorted by the twins and Takemichi on the way home. When asked for a reason they answered about protecting him. They're not wrong about him being physically weak as he only relied on using his "prodigy" IQ. When told to leave him they declined.

" As if those puny muscles of yours could pack a pun, at least bring a taser. Plus, not everything is solved using the brains." Maxe pointed out sounding harsh even if it's the truth.

" As much as I wanted to defend you here man, my sister's right. Unless you have a pawn waiting for you." Macey chimed in. Glasses got silent afterwards but they could see his mouth twitch, they knew he was trying to come up with an excuse.

' Bingo!' The trio thought in sync.

" Silence means 'Yes'. Oh well, Let's go." Takemichi joined in before taking the first step to leave. " Let's go, Maxe and Macey. He does have a bodyguard." They followed 'him' from behind leaving Kisaki alone... not really.

" Didn't think you'd hire another set of bodyguards, Ki~sa~keeeyy~" A voice from the shadows slowly appeared holding a cigar and a smirk teasing glasses guy.

" Hanma Shuji, how much have you heard?" Kisaki asked in a demanding tone Hanma raised his hands in a playful defeat. The glasses guy scoffed at his pawn's actions, impatiently waiting to dispose of him. Oh, wait...

" Hmm~ What do you mean~? I only arrived then saw some newcomers. They look pretty strong, can I—" he was cut off by Kisaki.

" No" Kisaki answered firmly making Hanma confused only to grin at the end.

" I see~ Does this mean that you're taking off my leash from your grasp~?" The lanky man teased again irritating 'the mastermind'.

" No, you're not off the hook yet."

" Oh~? I see~" Those were his last words, still smirking assuming that he's learned something interesting and can't wait for the experience.
