It all started with... Mostly rumors.

       You see, you almost can't keep a secret in 9-Generous. Tell it to the wrong person, cat's out. That's how things went.

       Somehow, word got out that two guys, Addison and Devin, liked me. Which, may I add, was surprising.

       The first guy, Addison Bennett C. Almero, is, or should I say was, with me when we review for exams for two consecutive... Years. He's noisy when he wants to, quiet when he feels like it.

       The other one, Devin Francis M. Pangilinan, has been my classmate since first year. Some say he's smart, and I do say so myself.

       At first, I was wondering, Do I have to pick between the two of them? Surprisingly, the answer came to me in form of a question.

       "So, who do you like? Addison or Devin?" my friends, Lexi, Shawn, and Andrea, asked. I stared at them. "What are you guys talking about?" "Oh come on Ellah, you have to have an answer. You can't leave them both hoping, right?"
       "I wish I could" I muttered. I thought I was in for another boring year! Now I have to pick between two guys? What have I gotten myself into??

       "Uhm, earth to Ellah?" Lexi asked. I snapped back into reality. "Oh uh, what did you say?" Andrea rolled her eyes. "She said do you see anything in both of them." "Wait... See what?" "Girl, you are so clueless." Shawn said. "Do you see anything in them that you like?"

       "Well..." I tried to be careful with my words. My friends might notice something. "Devin is smart, Addison is quiet..." He shrugs his shoulders when he doesn't want to answer a question... He's kind of... I don't know, unique?

       "Ok, hold the phone. Do you like Addison?" Andrea asked. "What? No!" I answered. "Are you sure? Or maybe you didn't know you were thinking out loud..." "I was?" They looked at each other and nodded. I did a mental facepalm. "F-fine. Maybe a little?" "Does that mean Devin's lost his chance?" Lexi asked. I gave it some thought.

       "Actually..." I said as a plan formed in my mind. "They'll both get a chance."

       They stared at me and asked, "What's your plan?"

       "Well... It's not exactly a plan." I replied. "More like an... Experiment."

       They looked at each other, then at me. "Experiment? What is that supposed to mean?" Lexi questioned. I smiled. "Things are going to be crazy, and at the end of this, I might be the only one to know the real story."
