Chapter 3

I shake Lily awake as I see the ships come into view. Its been awhile since I have been on a cruise so I'm a little excited. "AAAHHHH they are so big!!"I guess lily is awake now. I am happy that this is her first cruise. I might sign her up for the penguin daycare, so I can have a little bit of freedom.

I love Lily, which was surprisingly fast, but I do want to find this person my guardian told me about. What if that was just a dream and apart of my sick imagination. It's not like I can complain anymore since I now have Lily to brighten up my world.

I look back up to the giant ships and spot the biggest of them all and look at Lily. "Lily you see that big ship over there." I say while pointing to the largest ship. "Well, that is going to be the ship we are going on. Are you excited?" Her face brightens up as she stares at the ship in awe. "Yes, I'm excited, this is going to be fun." She says with a bright smile.

"Um ... I don't know what to call you? Should I call you mama?" lily asks with a questionable look.

"You can call me what ever you'd like." I answer. I slightly like the sound of mama, so I hope she chooses that. "then mama it is." She smiles at me while she speaks. "mama, do I have a papa?" she asks bringing a blush to my face.

I have never had any romantical feelings for guys, so I doubt she will ever have a papa. Maybe she will have a mom or mother.

"No sweetie." I said softly hoping she wouldn't be mad. "OK" she says and starts to look back at the ships.

A few minutes go by and we find a parking spot for the week and grab our bags. Chris helps me carry Lily's bags since she has a lot. We all hand our luggage to a man in a suit and he tells us to keep our handbags. After we all start walking toward the boarding building. As we reach the street, I grab Lily's hand and cross the street.

We all cross the street to be greeted by a long line. I look over at Lily to see she is hesitant about it. I crouch down by her ear and whisper "Don't worry, we have a pass that lets us skip this line." Her face brightens up as I pull her softly to the beginning of the line. I could feel the slight bounce in her step as we enter the building.

I look around and notice that it isn't really any different than outside. I follow my parents to the security checking area for us to be searched. I let go of Lily's hand to put the bags on the conveyor belt and take off my belt and shoes.

Lily looks at me weirdly and tries to follow my example. I let out a quiet laugh that catches the attention of my family. "You don't need to do that. Only the big kids do." I tell her while smiling.

She nods her head and puts her shoes back on. She didn't have a belt to take off since she was wearing a pink polka doted dress. I look back to catch my mother staring at Lily and I, but once our eyes meet she turns her head so fast I thought she would get whiplashed.

I gently push Lily through the metal detector and follow behind her. I grab the bags and start the walk to the ship. We pass the ticket collecting people while giving them our tickets. I turn to Lily and watch her smile brighten as we walk up the tunnel to the ship.

I lag behind the rest of the group since the weight of the bags were becoming a problem. I need to just push through it and smile when Lily turns and looks at me with concern. While giving her a reassuring smile. Once we all reach the top of the tunnels, we were met with the most beautiful lobby I have ever seen.

Since we were a little late there was a lot of people wandering around the place. There was a type of a band playing instruments and entertaining the crowd. It looked like a scene out of a movie.

I feel a slight pull on my jacket. While I was turning to see what it was, I see this gorgeous girl. She looked to be a little older than me. She was wearing all black, I used to think no one could pull off all black, but I was surly mistaken.

As I was staring at the mysterious girl, out of nowhere she turns around with a sly smirk. As if she knew someone was staring. Once she was completely turned towards me, I could clearly see her blue eyes. And they weren't just blue, but blue as if I was looking straight into the ocean off the side of the ship. I couldn't take my eyes off her. She was like a fallen angel from heaven and just for a moment I thought it was for me.

"Juaquin get your ass over to the elevator." And there goes my happy thoughts. She literally knows when I am happy and how to ruin it. "Coming." I yell, while saying 'bitch' under my breath. I look back over to the mysterious girl to see her still watching me. I blush and turn and walk toward the direction I hear mother's voice.

I get over to the elevator to see all of them waiting, I step into the elevator just as it was about to close. I look down at Lily to see her usually bright smile. I grab her hand as the elevator opens at level 9. Our room numbers are 9464 and 9472 if I remember correctly. We walk down the long hall way toward our rooms. Once we arrive, it seems as though we will not be that close together since the rooms are on opposite sides of the ship.

We say our goodbyes to mother and her husband and walk to our room. Lily is running while looking for the number I told her while My brother and I watch her carefully. As lily stops I know our room is close, I look inside the small mailbox on the wall and grab the envelope with the swipe cards. I give one to Chris and I keep Lily's and I's. Chris opens the door and we are met with a gorgeous room. Chris and I walk in while Lily seems to be shocked still.

I would be too if I haven't already been inside the Premium Balcony Cabin before. The room had about 8 huge paneled windows with draw curtains. The room was cream with a light green accent on the bed.

"Lily come inside and shut the door." Once I said this Lily abruptly jolted. "Sorry' she said quietly. I shake my head and open my arms for her to come in for a hug. She walks over to me and takes it. "Mama, there is only one bed. How are we all going to sleep on it?" she asks, and I couldn't help but smile when she called be mama. "Well first me and Chris were going to share a bed. But now he decided to ask someone to add a smaller bed in, so you and I will have the big bed. Is that ok with you." I say with a smile, "of course!!" after she finished she ran to the bed and flopped herself on the bed. I let out a small chuckle. 

"Chris what time is it? "I ask since I wanted to take a nap. "Its only 3 o'clock." Good then I have 4 hours until my camp at O2 starts. "alright can you watch Lily while I take a nap? You can take her around the ship if you like or to the pool." I tell Chris since I know he wants to leave the room. He isn't the type of kid that likes to be inside all day. Which is why I think Chris and Lily will get along just fine. 

"aright we will go to the pool, then get some lunch and I will bring some back for you ok?" I smile "sounds great. Now don't have too much fun without me." He knows I'm joking, so he lets out a laugh "We won't. I will make sure to wake you up before your camp thing opens." He says while walking to the door with Lily in hand. "Thanks. Have fun you two." I say before the door closes.

I let out a large yawn, and I walk over to the bed. I take off my jacket and I decide to walk toward the bathroom. After I take a shower I wrap my towel around my body. As I walk over to my hand bag and take out a black and red shirt to take a nap in. since the suitcases weren't here yet this would have to do. I get into bed and begin to close my eyes. And drift into a well needed sleep. 

I know there must be a thousand grammar mistakes but whatever at this point i just want this story to continue.
