#TCS65: Always with You

Artemis Elizabeth's POV

"Kuya naman, nakakahiya kang kasama, eh!" reklamo ko kay Kuya Cleon habang nakapila kami papasok sa may go kart. We wanted to do the kart racing first then go to an arcade, and also food trip. Kasama namin ni Kuya si Caerus at si Sloane.

"Ikinakahiya mo pa akong kasama, napaka-gwapo ko nga? Grabe ka, Art?" Kuya reacted that he was hurt, and even held his chest, I rolled my eyes and crossed my arms.

If I could go and abandon Kuya I would. Why is that he is so different from Kuya Theon? I'd rather be with Kuya Theon.

Kuya Cleon is like a kid. I feel like he's really younger than me and I needed to take care of him. He's always so clumsy and punong-puno ng kalokohan. Mom, and Dad's not like that naman, I don't know... maybe Kuya's really ampon.

"I have a plan!" Sloane raised her hand while smiling, her chinky eyes almost gone. She's really cute, and charismatic. You'd really pay attention to her moves, and her effortless stares. She's so beautiful, too.

I went near her, and clung my arms to her. "What is it?" excited na tanong ko sa kanya.

"Slo, don't think of something dangerous," paalala naman ni Caerus dito. I pouted at him. I also wanted to go in some shooting range! Or we could all go to a paintball tomorrow! That would be so good.

"Grabe, kapag ba ako dangerous agad?" Sloane flicked a brow at Caerus, and Caerus chuckled while nodding. Sloane groaned at him, but she focused her attention on me, again. Si Kuya Cleon naman lumapit sa amin ni Sloane.

He suddenly anchored his arm on Sloane's other arm. I looked at him ridiculously. Sloane snapped, and her arm was already snaked on Kuya Cleon's neck, and the ever-dramatic brother of mine coughed as if he was getting choked so bad.

"Aw! Grabe! Slo! Bitaw, grabe! Mas lalo akong pagkakaguluhan nyan, nako, dadami kaagaw mo lalo!" Kuya Cleon told Sloane, while wincing dramatically.

Binatukan ko kaagad s'ya habang naka-bend dahil mas matangkad si Kuya kay Slo.

"Asa kang makikipag-agawan ako sa 'yo. Ihahatid pa kita!" sagot ni Sloane at saka kinutusan si Kuya Cleon bago pakawalan.

Kuya Cleon was pouting like a kid and murmuring on his own. Sloane balled her fist, and was going to punch Kuya Cleon jokingly.

Pumagitna si Caerus sa kanila. "We are in the line, guys." Natawa ako kasi mukha na kaagad s'yang problemado kay Kuya at Sloane.

Who wouldn't? Tumakas kaya kami ni Caerus mamaya? I wonder if Sloane would agree, I didn't want her to suffer because of Kuya Cleon.

Sloane cleared her throat and stood up properly, crossing her arms. She went near me again, and glared at Kuya Cleon who smiled playfully and winked at her. I chuckled because Sloane shivered with it. I just shook my head at Kuya.

Inakbayan ni Kuya si Caerus. "Dude, gusto mong maging girlfriend 'yung kapatid ko 'di ba?"

"Kuya!" I shouted at him. Just really one more, I'd definitely ask Mom to change his surname to Sy! He's clearly not a Morbelque! He's ampon talaga! I don't know why magkamukha sila ni Kuya They ko!

"Kuya!" I exhaled a huge amount of air annoyance with the way he mimicked me exaggeratedly!

I'm not like that kaya! I'm not that maarte! It's Harper that's super maarte! I'm second lang! Not first, kaya hindi!

"Sa arcade mamaya, isasabit ko si Cleon sa roleta, tamang paikot lang para pagkaguluhan ng mga babae at hindi tayo masundan, G?" Sloane told me her plan loudly, making Kuya Cleon hear it, kaya naman lumingon si Kuya sa amin.

"Narinig ko 'yun! Inamin mo rin na gwapo ako!" Sloane and I rolled our eyes in unison because of the way he twisted her words.

"Ano'ng aaminin ko? Hindi ka naman gwapo?" sagot kaagad ni Sloane sa medyo mayabang na paraan. I laughed because Kuya made a face at her, and Sloane almost punched him, but he was fast enough to hide on Caerus's back.

Isip-bata talaga nitong si Kuya.

Gumalaw 'yung pila kaya naman umabante kami. Nasa unahan namin si Caerus at si Kuya. May mga nagbubulungan at nakatingin kayna Kuya, pati na rin sa amin. It wasn't really a big deal, but Kuya was waving his hands at them, and also playing with Caerus hands! He's making the poor Caerus wave at the girls!

Kaya naman kulang na lang magpa-picture 'yung mga babae sa dalawa. They were also almost squealing at them. Sloane was just looking at them in a really bored way, not even paying attention. While I was pouting because it's like Kuya Cleon was selling Caerus to the girls!

Ililigaw ko talaga si Kuya Cleon mamaya! Bahala s'ya sa buhay n'ya! That's gonna be his karma! Tss!

When the girls are done in taking pictures with Caerus, Kuya Cleon started talking with Caerus again. "Ano nga, bro? Ilalakad kita kina Mame, kaya sabihin mo lang kung gusto mo si Art." Napalingon sa akin ng awkward si Caerus, I just shrugged at him.

"I like your sister, but I can do it on my own, thanks for the offer though," sagot naman ni Caerus kay Kuya.

"Hindi dapat ganyan ang sagot, bro!" alma ni Kuya.

"Huh?" nalilitong tanong ni Caerus.

"Oo dapat! 'Tapos may kapalit syempre!" proud na proud pa talaga si Kuya sa pinagsasabi n'ya. Ewan ko na lang talaga. Gusto ko na lang umalis, at pumunta sa shooting range kasama si Sloane at iwan s'ya.

"Why would you even need something in return?" Caerus asked calmly.

"Syempre, bro! Walang libre ngayon 'no! BOGO nga, kailangan bili ka pa ng isa, bago magkalibre eh!" I face palmed with what I heard. Good thing, Biblee's not here. If she was... hindi ko na talaga alam.

"Is Cleon adopted?" Sloane whispered seriously. I looked at her and laughed, then nodded. "I wish." Nagkatawanan kaming dalawa sa binulong ko sa kanya. Napalingon si Kuya, at tinaasan kami ng kilay.

Umabante naman si Caerus sa linya, kaya sumunod si Kuya. He draped his arms once again on Caerus' shoulder. "Simple lang naman ang kapalit eh, kailangan ko lang ng solo time namin ni Slo."

"Mandiri ka nga!" Nasapak kaagad ni Sloane ang likod ng ulo ni Kuya nang pagkalakas-lakas na muntik na s'yang sumubob sa sahig, kung hindi lang dahil kay Caerus. Syempre, dahil mabait akong kapatid, tinawanan ko lang si Kuya.

"Grabe 'yung pagmamahal mo, Slo! Mapanakit!" Irap ni Kuya kay Sloane.

Hindi sumagot si Sloane at inirapan lang si Kuya. Mag-aaway na naman sana sila, pero sila na 'yung next sa pila, kaya naman pumunta na kami ro'n para makapagsimula na rin. After it, we went inside to get our kart, and safety equipment.

"Here." Caerus gave me a helmet, and fixed it on my head. I smiled at him, and we were finally having our peace. But, who could even imagine that it would last?

Kuya Cleon gave a helmet to Sloane, but since he was so epic fail, he accidentally hit Sloane's head instead of helping her. Of course, Sloane, took the helmet on Kuya Cleon's head, I swear, the way she hit him... it wasn't a joke.

And now, they were both aching in pain. Napapangiwi na lang kami ni Caerus sa kanila.

I chose a kart that I wanted, and Caeus inspected it with the staff, then I went into it. "Are you comfortable in that?" he asked with a smile, I nodded, and gave him thumbs up. I was excited to race!

"Let's race! I'll beat you!" masayang hamon ko sa kanya. I just loved the thrill with these kinds of things. I really wanted to try real car racing, and also a drag race! That would be so awesome! And also, having a gunfight while racing! Woah, that thrill it would bring!

Caerus smirked at me. "What do I get in return?" I frowned at him, and he chuckled. Grabe! Ang bilis matuto kay Kuya Cleon!

"What do you want in return?" tanong ko pabalik sa kanya, at nakita ko naman napaisip s'ya. "I wanted to go to a shooting range, and also have an underground city race! Will you accompany me if I win?" mabilis na dugtong ko.

"That's dangerous." Kumunot ang noo n'ya sa gusto ko.

"So you are not confident that you'll beat me?" I taunted with a simper, and he chuckled.

"Then if I win, I want a date." I pursed my lips together. That was not even something I'd regret if I ever lose! Mas pabor pa nga s'ya sa akin eh. I didn't say it to him, and just nodded. I saw how his eyes sparkled.

He tapped my helmet a little. "That's a deal?" He was making sure of it, and I nodded enthusiastically.

"Deal! But let me decide what kind of date! Don't worry, I won't choose a dangerous one!" I chuckled, because his expression was already against it, but he nodded in the end. And he wanted to talk more, but Kuya Cleon dragged him.

"Sakay na, aba! Madaya ka, nakakadami ka na kaagad sa kapatid ko, ako puro suntok ang nakukuha kay Sloane!" reklamo nito. Parehas namin s'yang tinawanan ni Caerus. Caerus went to his kart, and I stuck my tongue out at Kuya Cleon.

"Karma bit you in the back hard, eh?" I teased, and Kuya was going to march near me, but I pressed the gas, and my kart was moving to the starting point after all the checks.

"Art!" Sloane exclaimed because she was also ready to race. Inantay lang namin si Kuya at Caerus, pagkatapos nagsimula na rin kaming mag-go kart. I was smiling the while accelerating because I missed doing this!

Halos sabay-sabay kami sa straight kaya naman nagkakatawanan.

"Sloane!" Even with the sound of the engines, you could still hear Kuya.

"What?!" Sloane retorted in irritation, stepping on the gas harder, so she'd be moving ahead of us, pero hindi s'ya pinakawalan ni Kuya.

Binagalan ko talaga para hindi ako maipit sa gulo ni Kuya at Sloane. Sumabay naman si Caerus sa akin. The whole track in this place was huge. They have three tracks, and ways. Kaya naman pinauna namin sina Sloane. Para hindi ako liliko sa pupuntahan nilang track.

They entered the track on the middle, so I went to the left and Caerus followed me. Sinabayan n'ya ako at ngumisi ako. "Race on." I smirked at him, and looked like he got the message, and was eventually in front of me.

Of course, hindi ako nagpatalo sa kanya. I tried to overtake him. He was blocking me, it was effective at first, but soon enough, I passed by him. I giggled victoriously and blocked him when he tried to pass by.

But he was also skilled! Mas namangha ako kasi sobrang smooth n'ya lang makipag-racing! He was so good! I maneuvered and pulled off some tricks that Kuya Akira taught me back then, and I won in the first race!

I was happily dancing a little on my kart when we stopped on the finish line. I saw him shaking his head, but there was suddenly a fire in his eyes! We started to race again on another track, luckily, looked like Sloane and my Kuya was also playing their own game.

After three races, the score was 2-1!

"Yehey!" I clapped my hands, and moved out of the kart. Caerus guided me out carefully. Nang maakalis at makapunta sa gilid, nakangiti sa akin si Caerus.

"Yey! I lost," I stated sarcastically because I couldn't accept my defeat! Natawa si Caerus sa akin, at marahang tinanggal ang helmet n'ya. I gulped a little, because he was really so good looking! I couldn't believe this guy wanted me!

He smirked mischievously, and I felt my heart thumped! Para tuloy biglang namula ang pisngi ko kaya naman umiwas ako ng tingin! I didn't know messy hair would still be so good looking in him! Oh, angels.

"I won, so, we have a date." And he even playfully winked at me. Tatalikuran ko sana s'ya, pero kaagad n'yang hinila ang braso ko. He made me face him. I stepped back, and he cackled like he found it amusing that I was shy.

I looked at him seriously, and rolled my eyes. I stepped forward going near him. I don't do the backing down! I'm Artemis! I saw in his eyes that he was a little intimidated, but smirked wider. Inalis n'ya ang helmet sa ulo ko nang sobrang ingat.

I didn't show him that I was affected and just looked straightly. While he was blatantly looking at my face without any intention of being shy.

"If there's really a way right now, I'd really want us to be alone. Ang sarap mong itakas sa Kuya mo," natatawang sambit nito. Natigilan naman ako sa pagiging straight forward nito. He wasn't the awkward nerd that was in front of my parents yesterday!

"Baka matunaw!" At syempre, hindi pwedeng mangyari 'yun kasi ipinanganak na panira si Kuya Cleon.

He freaking inserted his face in between me and Caerus! Oh, my angels!

"Damn it!" Caerus' deep voice shouted, when he backed away so fast. Kuya Cleon's eyes widened when he realized the result of what he had done!

Caerus accidentally brushed his lips against Kuya Cleon's cheeks!

"Potek! First kiss ko 'yun!" Napanganga ako sa biglang sinabi ni Kuya kay Caerus. Caerus looked so surprised, and was wiping his lips with the sudden incident!

Sloane was laughing so hard with what she had witnessed, she was already out of her kart since earlier while Caerus and I was talking. I think she got some of her things on the side. She was looking for something earlier.

"Cleon! Na-picture-an ko!" Halakhak ni Sloane, at kaagad nanlaki ang mga mata ko no'ng makita ako ang cellphone n'ya na nakataas habang nakangisi kay Kuya! Oh, angels! Kahihiyan ni Caerus may ibendensya na!

"I thought you wanted beautiful pretty girls, I didn't know you wanted pretty boys!" teased Sloane laughingly.

"Hoy!" Biglang lumapit si Kuya kay Sloane. Sloane stuck her tongue out, and ran for her life, but Kuya chased her. Because Kuya was tall and he has some long legs, he caught Sloane's hand in the air that was waving the phone.

Sloane, instead of freezing on her feet, from Kuya's near face on her, she mocked him, and even made her face closer to him, so their noses were touching. I could see Sloane's smirk, and playful glance.

Si Kuya pa ang natigilan kay Sloane! Sloane took the chance, and punched Kuya's stomach jokingly, before running back to where we were. Caerus was just chuckling at them. Tumatalon-talon pa si Kuya habang hawak ang tyan. Arte.

"Hey, Slo! I won the race!" reklamo nito nang makalapit sa amin. Paalis na kaming apat sa lugar. We wanted to go to the arcade next.

"Oh, yeah? But I won with the picture." Lakas din talaga mang-asar nitong si Sloane, eh.

"Going back on your own words?" nakangising pang-aalaska ni Kuya rito. Habang naglalakad na kami palabas ng lugar.

"Who says?" Sloane retorted back strongly, looking at Kuya. We went to the parking lot. Iisang kotse lang ang gamit namin. It was going to be Caerus who would drive now, it was Kuya earlier.

"Then I shall tell you my wish, for I won the game." Kinilabutan na kaagad ako sa narinig kay Kuya. Alam ko kasing grabe man-trip o grabe rin ang takbo ng utak n'yan eh.

Hindi nakapagsalita si Sloane no'ng bigla s'yang hulihin ni Kuya sa may baiwang. He smirked playfully at her. Sloane just knotted her forehead, and looked at him challengingly. She was never backing down against him.

"Be my pretend girlfriend."

Muntik na akong maubo at muntik na ring malaglag ni Caerus ang susi ng kotseng hawak n'ya dahil sa narinig namin kay Kuya! Oh, my angels! What was he thinking now?

Hinawakan ni Caerus ang kamay ko at hinila ako papalapit sa may kotse. He was chuckling because of them. "Sloane got her own karma, too, huh?" he murmured also watching them.

Sloane laughed loudly, and... of course, she was Sloane. She punched Kuya's face jokingly. At nagtatakbo papalapit sa amin, habang tumatawa pa rin, at inaasar si Kuya. Hindi man lang na surprise sa ginawa ni Kuya. Mas nagulat pa yata kami ni Caerus.

"Dude, walang talo-talo!" Sloane shouted, and Kuya marched towards us with a smirk on his face.

"Weak ka pala. Hindi kaya ng pretend? Gusto official?" tanong ni Kuya habang nakataas ang isang kilay. Tumunog ang kotse, at pumasok na si Caerus sa driver's seat kaya naman sumunod na ako.

The two also followed but was still bickering. "Ano'ng weak? Ano'ng official? Kapal mo, dude!"

"Why? I'm just doing this for myself, the girls who got broken because of me, are chasing me. I wanted to use you as a shield." Kibit-balikat na sabi ni Kuya. I laughed and Caerus started to drive to the arcade.

"Shield mo mukha mo, Kuya!" I laughed at him.

Kinutusan naman n'ya ako at nakita kong napalingon si Caerus sa akin nang nag-aalala.

"Kainis hindi man lang na-shookt 'tong si Sloane! Dapat sumigaw ka kanina Art ng Boom Bars! Gano'n ang supportive na kapatid! Napakawalang kooperasyon mo talaga, eh!" reklamo ni Kuya Cleon.

The car was now filled with laughter because of him.

"Laos na 'yung mga pinagsasabi mo, Cleon. Been there, done that," proud na sabi ni Sloane. Natawa si Caerus, mukhang alam din ang sinasabing kalokohan ni Sloane.

"Sana ako kinuha mong pretend, matutuwa pa ako sa 'yo!" Sira-ulo talaga si Kuya. Napakakapal ng mukha!

"Baka masuntok lang kita araw-araw sa mga banat mo. Naku!" sagot ni Sloane habang umiiling-iling.

"Try it, Slo." Napalingon kami kay Caerus dahil sa sinabi nito.

"Naks, supportive ka na ngayon ha! Nagpapabango ka ba sa Kuya?" I sighed exaggeratedly when I heard Kuya Cleon's reply. Seriously?

"Admit it, Sloane, you are also in a complicated relationship with your past exes and past fiancés." I was jaw dropped when Caerus stated that! What the heck?

Sloane's face suddenly became serious. "Don't talk about that!" She sounded really different and defensive this time. She rested her back on her sit, and crossed her arms. Napatingin ako sa kanya, at nakitang nakatitig si Kuya Cleon dito.

"Why?" I asked silently, glancing at Caerus.

Sloane became quiet, and Kuya knew that it was not a topic to joke about. The awkward atmosphere was suddenly overpowering the four of us. Caerus was just still seriously driving, and we stopped at a stoplight.

"My Dad wanted me to marry some old man for power." Napasinghap ako sa biglang pagsasalita ni Sloane.

"What the hell?" Kuya's resounding voice echoed.

"I rebelled and had lots of boyfriends. Some were even you know... assassins, powerful sons of politicians and such. They were so into me. They wouldn't want to let me go. That's why I brought Alas that day. Because admit it or not, Alas is not something you mess up with," seryoso at tahimik na kwento nito.

"Some of my exes were still bothering me. Threatening those current ones. That's why I stopped my plaything. I hated that I even started it. Making it all tangled." Iiling-iling na saad nito at nagbuntonghininga.

"Then use me." I was also rooted on the spot when I heard Kuya's stern and deep voice. No hint of jest was found on it.

I heard Caerus chuckled like he expected it.

"Why would I?" Sloane queried while raising her one brow.

"Because I am a Morbelque." I swear! I felt goosebumps all over my skin when Kuya stated that! Sloane was finally speechless, and was looking at him keenly. Her eyes slowly showed real emotions of wanting to escape her dilemma, although betting in an unknown card.

"Isang sabi mo lang, Slo. Itatakwil namin si Kuya kapag sinaktan ka!" I added with a smile.

"Gagu 'to! Ako kapatid mo! Dapat s'ya 'yung babantaan mo!" Kuya hit my head lightly.

"Paanong banta?" I laughed.

"'Yung ipapagkait mo 'yung pinakagwapo kong mukha sa kanya, kapag pinaiyak n'ya ako! 'Tapos dapat babanatan n'ya rin ako, kasi kapag hindi, ilalayo mo ako sa kanya, gano'n dapat!" mahabang reklamo nito.

I rolled my eyes, and we all laughed at him, while he pouted like a kid. Sloane tousled his hair hilariously, but my Kuya looked like he found someone he wanted to take care of for the rest of his life, I smiled at them while looking at the rear-view mirror.

Hindi nagtagal nakarating din kami sa may arcade at mukhang tuwang-tuwa kaagad si Kuya sa loob. We bought our cards, and we'll play for two hours with limitless number of tickets needed in every tap.

Kaya naman kaagad kong hinila si Sloane, at syempre reklamo kaagad ni Kuya ang narinig ko. Caerus was just giggling at him, and he followed the two of us. Sloane and I went to the basketball game.

I tapped my card, and I was ready to play. I chose two players. Sloane was beside me. Kaso bigla s'yang pinatalbog ni Kuya paalis at hinila sa katabing basketball game. Kaya naman lumapit sa akin si Caerus para sabay kaming maglaro.

I was chuckling while shooting, and sometimes Caerus hand would brush against mine. I would hide a smile. Wala pa akong gano'ng nashu-shoot, kaya naman nagulat ako no'ng pumunta sa likod ko si Caerus.

He picked a call, and made me hold it. He guided my hands, and we both shoot the ball. I gulped when I realized that he was so near. He was saying something on how to shoot the ball effectively but it was muffled in my hearing. I just really wanted him to hold me close.

He went back beside me, and shot balls consecutively. Hindi kami nagge-game over, dahil sa bilis at galing n'ya. Samantalang ako? I was just suddenly watching him in awe. I only snapped at myself, when I saw him glanced at me with that dashing smile.

I grabbed a ball. But he was already holding it. Muntik ko nang tuktukan ang sarili ko sa nangyari. He cackled gently, and gave me the ball. I tried to shoot again and luckily it was in. Magaling naman ako rito dati! I was just nervous around him!

"You got this, Art!" he cheered, and I smiled cheerfully, and gave my best!

"Yehey!" I jumped excitedly facing him because we beat the highest score on the board! We high fived each other, and he almost hugged me in our joyful celebration.

But it was interrupted when we saw world war three happening beside us. Napalunok ako sa nakikita ko. The basketball became dodge ball!

Gusto ko sanang hilahin si Caerus para magtago. "Hindi natin sila kasama, hindi natin sila kasama," I murmured repeatedly, and Caerus held my hand, shaking his head.

May ilang dumadaan na papatingin at natatawa sa kanila. May iba namang nawiwirduhan. Paano kasi, sobrang baliw talaga no'ng dalawang 'yun eh.

"Ano, kaya pa?!" hamon ni Sloane.

"Oh, taya!" sigaw naman ni Kuya matapos batuhin si Sloane ng basketball na bola.

Instead of shooting the ball on the net, they were throwing it to each other like it was a dodge ball game! Nagkalat na 'yung mga bola. 'Tapos magsisigawan at mag-aaway pa sila! Napatakip na lang ako ng mukha sa kanila!

They were so embarrassing! We are seriously not affiliated with them! I promise!

"Ungas! Mali!" Sloaned scolded Kuya.

Caerus shook his head, and took all the balls from the floor that were a mess because of them. Wala akong nagawa kung hindi tumulong din kasi wala yatang balak maging matino ang dalawang 'to.

When they couldn't get another ball, they resorted to fighting with words. Halos magsakalan na sila sa totoo lang. Kaya naman hinila ko na si Kuya para awatin sila. 'Tapos inilayo na rin ni Caerus si Sloane na nanlalaban sa kanya.

"Sandali! Hindi pa kami tapos nyan! Kakalbuhin ko pa 'yan!" Sloane protested.

"Asa ka naman! Talo ka lang eh!" Parang batang sabi ni Kuya Cleon.

Halos mapa-face palm kami ni Caerus sa kanilang dalawa. Natigil lang yata kami sa pang-aawat at natigil sila sa pag-aaway no'ng bigla silang makakita ng pwede na naman laruin. They both went to the dance revolution.

I sighed. Ano na naman kayang pag-aawayan ng dalawang 'to?

"You want to play something else?" tanong ni Caerus sa akin. I nodded and went to the one with shooting the zombies on the screen. Just beside the dance revo. Para kapag mag-away na naman sila, mapigilan ulit namin.

I was getting nervous that a police would come to stop those two, if we were not going to interfere! Alagain talaga si Kuya! Nakakainis!

Kumusta naman 'yung date na gusto kong mangyari sa amin ni Caerus!? Naging halos taga-alaga at taga-awat na lang kami!

We tapped our cards and waited for the start. I saw Sloane and Kuya from my peripheral vision starting to bicker again with their song choice! Oh, my angels!

Sloane was the one that won and picked a song. Nag-ready na silang dalawa ro'n. Ako naman nag-ready na rin sa gagawin namin ni Caerus na laro.

Then a music started from their game. I suddenly looked at them, especially when Sloane started dancing even with stepping on the right spots! Woah! That was one of a heck beat and rhythm! She was so good!

"Sloane's so good!" I couldn't help but yelp.

"Told you, she's the most unpredictable crown." Shrugged Caerus.

Para tuloy akong batang nakatitig sa galing ni Sloane! She was even looking at Kuya like mocking him, because Kuya was also in awe with what he witnessed, he wasn't expecting it! But then, syempre, Kuya won't let her take another win.

Kuya suddenly started dancing, and I almost rolled on my stomach! Bulate! Bulate si Kuya!

Sloane was almost distracted with Kuya's dance. She was now laughing while dancing. Ayaw tingnan ang bulate at patpat na si Kuya! It wasn't that bad, but it looked bad next to Sloane. Even Caerus was chuckling watching them.

Nang matapos ang kanta, tawang-tawa pa rin ako, kasi nag-aasaran na naman sila. I just shrugged it off, and Caerus and I started our shooting game. It was so good, doing it. We were enjoying together, and smiling at each other, but was still watching those two.

When they finished dancing, ano pa ba? Nagsimula na naman silang magtalo. Caerus and I just went to them to separate them again. Oh, angels. Why did I even end up joining them? I wanted to spend time with Caerus, and not their referee!

"Awat na Kuya!" asar na sigaw ko sa kanya. Natigilan naman s'ya.

Pati si Sloanne natigilan din. At naglaro na lang kami nang magkakasama sa iba pang arcade games na nando'n. At least, their bickering and blabbing toned down, but they would really mock each other from time to time.

Then when they looked a little peaceful than before. I grabbed Caerus to the other part of the arcade. We went to play bowling and sky walking, too. Finally! A time for the two of us!

Nagugutom na ako, kaya lumapit ako kay Caerus. "Can we eat now?" I pouted at him.

"Let's find those two," Caerus mentioned with a dashing beam. He held my hand, and we looked for those mortal nemeses. Humiwalay kami kanina para maglaro ng amin dahil ayaw kong maging taga-awat lang nila.

We walked around and saw them at the claw machine. Sloane was doing it seriously, while Kuya was watching her intently.

"Laglag! Laglag! Laglag!" cheered Kuya. Napaka talaga mag-cheer no'n!

"Talo! Talo! Talo!" he repeated.

"Damn it!" malutong na sigaw ni Sloane no'ng malaglag 'yung cute na toothless stuff toy na gusto n'yang makuha.

"Weak! Hahahaha!" Humagalpak naman ng tawa si Kuya sa kanya.

Sinuntok kaagad ni Slo si Kuya. Hindi man lang nakaiwas ang magaling kong kapatid. Lumapit kami sa kanila para hindi sila mag-away. Kaya napa-clear throat si Kuya nang makita kami. He smiled awkwardly and gave us a peace sign.

"Tara, kakain," aya ni Caerus.

"Wait! Lalampasuhin ko lang si Slo!" imik ni Kuya.

Nag-tap s'ya at seryosong tumutok sa claw machine para kunin 'yung puting version ni toothless, toothpaste ba pangalan no'n?

Nakalimutan ko itanong kay Honoka. Alam ko napanuod n'ya na 'yung movie na 'yun eh.

"Booo! Talo! Weak!" Sloane cheered. Bwisit talaga mag-cheer 'tong dalawang 'to sa isa't isa.

Kuya was so focused. Mas focus pa kesa pagkuha ng mga information dati sa Senses. Grabe! They are seriously... unbelievable!

"Ha!" Sloane scoffed, and jumped around dancing in happiness. Not because Kuya succeeded but because he failed. Grabe, ngayon lang ako nakakita ng palpak na nga, masaya pa.

"Weak! Talo!" asar ni Sloane kay Kuya.

"Guys? Let's go?" Napalingon ako kay Caerus dahil nando'n s'ya sa likod ko. I was jaw dropped when he showed us... four stuff toys from the claw machine. What the heck?!

"What the hell?! Ang daya! Paano 'yon?!" sabay na sigaw ni Sloane at Kuya.

They both went near Caerus and inspected the toys. Sloane took toothpaste, and Kuya took toothless. Sloane put the toy beside her face, and my eyes circled! Oh, angels! Magka-mukha sila! Ang cute!

I took out my phone in an instant, and snapped it! Nagulat si Sloane, pero natawa sa akin.

Ginawa ni Kuya 'yung ginawa ni Sloane, pero kaagad kong inalis ang mukha n'ya. Sayang sa memory space ang mukha n'ya. Hindi worthy. Humagalpak ng tawa si Slo sa ginawa ko at nag-asaran na naman sila ni Kuya.

Caerus gave me the white teddy bear, while he had the brown one. We smiled at each other, not minding the two people bickering from the back. Tatawag na talaga ako ng pulis gawa nila. Bahala sila sa buhay nila.

At least... I will have another date with Caerus without those two! I'm glad I lost that game earlier!

Naglakas at tumakbong nag-aasaran sina Slo at Kuya, kaya nalampasan nila kami. Sabay tuloy kaming napabuntonghininga ni Caerus.

He held my hand tightly, and we smiled at each other. Whatever. As long as we were together. Nevermind those two.

Harper Aurora's POV

"I'm so excited for today!" I clapped my hands, while glancing at Rebel and Honoka from the passenger's seat. Honoka's gummy smile was so cute, and Rebel was holding her hand and playing with it.

"Me too! I can't wait to bake later, and of course, the aquarium!" Honoka's giddy voice made me more exhilarated.

Rebel laughed a little, and glanced lovingly at Honoka. While Law was driving, and gazing at me from time to time with a smirk. Syempre, I'm so maganda, even with driving he'd glance at me! Who wouldn't?

But he needs to be careful, I didn't want to end up in a hospital because of a car accident! My gorgeous and fair skin will have a scratch, and that's a no no! I'd sue Law for damaging my beauty! The engagement is going to be cancelled!

"Can you please look at the road?" I knotted my forehead at him. "I know I'm so maganda, but please?" maarteng say ko sa kanya, while looking at my finger nails with a colourful fish design! It was so meant to be with the aquarium!

"Lakas!" Rebel commented, and I flicked my brow at him. What? True naman eh! But instead, he just laughed at me, and Law was also chuckling with his brother. Honoka, too! I pouted, and rolled my eyes.

I just hope those big fishes wouldn't want to eat my fingers when I touch the glass! I know I'm also yummy to their eyes. And, I wondered too, what kind of fishes I would see! I'd probably bring home one! I've always wanted to take care of them.

I was just afraid Father will make them pritong tilapia!

"Are you also going to bake later, Aurora?" asked Law. I faced him, and granted him the full view of my fresh and beautiful face. I did a full routine of face skin care yesterday night with Honoka, and Art!

"Of course, I'm a good baker, too. Why? You didn't expect a pretty lady like me doing household chores?" I questioned him in surprise.

"Household chores ang bwisit na baking! Hoy, Harper, cooking ang household chore, at paghuhugas ng plato!" Rebel laughed while shaking his head. Honoka hit him lightly while chuckling.

"What? It's making food, too! It's also a household chore!" pagpupumilit ko sa kanya.

"Oo nga, Rebel! You eat pastries, too! Not always rice!" Honoka agreed with me, and I wanted to high five with her, but I prevented myself, because we need to be more proper in the car.

"You know what, I can bake for us, Aurora," Law stated while turning in the corner. It was so smooth. I was supposed to reklamo if not, eh!

"You don't trust me? My hands are so soft kaya!" I told him, and showed my smooth and perfect hands. He was so blessed he could touch these hands! I don't let anyone touch it! He should appreciate it.

"Yeah, your hands are really smooth and soft, and delicate. That's why I'm suggesting I'd do it, and you can just design it," sagot ni Law sa akin, he gazed at me with a smile, and I was so happy seeing his dimples. I wanted to pinch his cheeks but I prevented myself.

"Sus! Dadahilan ka pang soft and smooth, ayaw mo lang kasi pang tamad ang kamay ni Harper, baka madungisan. Whipped!" Rebel exclaimed while shaking his head. I scrunched my nose at him. He's so panira talaga!

"Honoka, you should save yourself, from that monggo guy!" I told Honoka.

"Monggo what?!" Law remarked in confusion, but laughing with the word monggo.

"Duh? You didn't know? Weak! I thought you know everything about me!" I teased Law.

"What the heck, Aurora? I'm not a stalker." He defended himself.

"What's with the monggo, Harp?" tanong ni Honoka.

"Law, your ever-annoying brother, threw monggo seeds on my head while I was at the Hierarchy Tower back then! You should ban all the monggo seeds at the Empire! It was annoying and it hurts!" reklamo ko sa kanya nang naka-pout.

"What the heck, Rebel?" asar na sabi ni Law sa kapatid. I was so happy he's kampi with me!

"Hoy, masarap ang balatong sa food alley, ban the monggo seeds ka dyan! Baliw ka Harper!" Rebel retorted with a laugh. He was playing with Honoka's hair.

"Bakit mo binato si Harper ng gano'n? Baliw ka!" Honoka told his boyfriend. She looked at Rebel sharply, and I stuck my tongue at him. He's not gonna win against me! I have Law and Honoka on my side.

"Babe, sa akin ka dapat kampi, hindi dyan sa conyo mong kaibigan." Rebel even rolled his eyes.

"I'm conyo rin kaya! So you don't want conyo?" Honoka crossed her arms. Law was giggling victoriously, and I was dancing my happy dance because Rebel just dug his own grave. Huh! He thought, I'm Harper kaya!

"What? No, babe. That's not what I mean. Bwisit kayo Law at Harper!" biglang blame ni Rebel sa amin ni Law.

I was about to protest and bicker with him, but I saw the entrance to the aquarium, that's why my eyes sparkled in joy! Oh, my royals! We are finally here! Since we were early, we found a parking near the entrance of the place.

We all entered the place. Honoka and I were clinging on each other's arms while being like little kids in excitement, and Rebel and Law were following the two of us from behind.

"Mukhang magiging guard pa nga." I heard Rebel murmured at his brother. I rolled my eyes secretly, and there was no line to get the tickets! Oh, my! They really know that Harper wasn't allowed to wait a long time! It was so going according to plan!

Law was the one who bought us tickets, and he smiled at me when we could finally enter. I also returned his smile, and his cute dimples appeared. I pinched Honoka a little, and she almost squeaked but I dragged her so we could enter.

But the moment I saw the fishes, I let go of Honoka, and went directly to it. "Oh my, so cute!" I told them, and they went to me.

"Gago, cute daw 'yung tilapia!" tawa ni Rebel sa akin. Law went to me, and grabbed me on the waist.

"What? You uncultured swine!" I pointed at Rebel with forehead creased. "This is a Lionhead Cichlid!"

Law chuckled beside me. I crossed my arms at him. "You should really educate this Rebel!" I told him, and Honoka laughed at Rebel.

And Rebel draped his arm around Honoka's shoulders. Honoka pointed at Rebel the name of the fish, and I was right!

"Don't worry about Rebel, Aurora," Law whispered near my ear, and took me to the next fish.

My irritation vanished when I saw another species! "Seahorses!" I clapped my hands, and Law was chuckling beside me, pulling me closer to him. I just let him do that, we both looked at the description for it.

"Do you know this?" He pointed out the next one on the gallery, covering the name of the fish. I looked at him challengingly.

"Of course! That's easy, that's mudskippers! Amphibians!" Law threw his head back chuckling because I was right! Huh, I knew different shades that was like the same colours for dumb dumbs, of course fishes were easy!

I glanced at Honoka and she was clapping her hands in enjoyment in the gallery, too! Rebel was now smiling while looking at Honoka. Tss! Instead of watching the fishes, he was memorizing Honoka's every reaction.

What a disgrace to the poor fishes!

"Alam mo 'to?" chuckled Honoka.

"Isda lahat 'yan, love, iba-iba lang ng hitsura," Rebel answered proudly! Law laughed at his brother, and Honoka punched him lightly on the chest, Rebel just hugged Honoka on the side.

"Ito! You should know this!" The couple also went near the one we were looking at. Law smirked, waiting for his answer from Honoka's question. "What will happen if you touch it?" she cutely continued.

Then Rebel... suddenly... "Oh, royals!" I was almost jaw dropped with what I saw. Law's loud laughter echoed.

Rebel pretended like he was electrified! Oh, my royals! That was embarrassing! But Honoka was laughing at him. I covered my face, and went to the next one.

The eels must have been so shocked witnessing that from Rebel.

Poor electric eels!

"Hey, look at the Lionfish!" Law told me, and I smiled widely, because he knew them! I thought he'd be like his brother! I really know how to choose the right guy! I'm really proud of myself with my choices! Mother would be so proud!

We also saw the pipe fishes, and the other ones on the gallery. After that we both went to the next archway of the aquarium, and Law was holding my hand, not letting me go away from him. I just held his hand, too, and watched the fishes with a huge smile.

We were now at the Rainbow Reef! I was so excited to see it!

"Do you like fishes that much?" he asked me.

"Yes! They were so cute! We should really protect the ocean. Next time, I'm going snorkeling, they are more free in the ocean!" I replied at him, while glancing at the glass aquarium. Oh, royals! This is so cool!

"You like them more than me?" he questioned playfully.

"What? Are you a shokoy or a merman to be compared to them?"

His eyes widened with my answer, but he ended up laughing, and side hugging me. He placed his face near me, and whispered. "Your eyes sparkle looking at them."

I just hid a grin, and looked at the fishes in the rainbow reef. I looked up at the glass aquarium ceiling and saw the fishes in there! Wow!

Instead of going to the moving platform in the middle, I just went to the sides, because I wanted to see the fishes more.

"Oh, my gosh! This is a Picasso Triggerfish!" I looked at Law in amusement when the fish passed by at our location.

"Picasso what?!" Rebel questioned and I gazed at him. Katabi na namin s'ya with Honoka. I made a face at him, and Honoka repeated the name of the fish carefully and cutely.

"Woah, a unicorn surgeonfish!" Honoka pointed the one above us, and I clapped my hands when I saw it because of her. We high fived each other.

"Potek na 'yan, may nang-oopera palang isda?!" shocked na sabi ni Rebel.

"Sira, dude! Pangalan lang!" Binatukan ni Law 'yung kapatid n'yang walang alam sa mga isda! Ba't ba 'yan sumama rito kung ganyan!

"Alam mo, Rebel. I'm gonna find some piranha later, and I'll leave you there." Irap ko sa kanya. Honoka laughed, and teased Rebel, and the latter pouted cutely, Law grabbed my face delicately. I raised my brow at him.

"Just look at me." Psh! It was like as if he knew I called Rebel cute, which I wanted to revoked immediately, and Law just made sure that he was the cutest in my eyes. I pinched his cheeks and we walked, while his arm was draped around my shoulder.

"This is Lunare Wrasse, Harp, look!" Honoka told me and pointed her hand on the glass. I chuckled, because it was so cute and it looked glowing!

I giddily showed my fish painted nails like I was showing off at the fish. "Look I have fish on my nails, too!" I exclaimed talking to the fishes.

"So freaking cute," Law commented at me.

"Gorgeous," I corrected, and the resounding laugh from Rebel and Law echoed.

We took pictures together, and of course, me alone, and by partners. I actually praised Rebel because he took good pictures of me and Law. I thought I needed to call Luna, I'd really give more aurous to her.

I also photographed Honoka and Rebel! They were so sweet! I thought the fishes will be inggit with them! Rebel back hugged Honoka, kissed her cheeks, and Honoka also hugged him from the side.

It was so cute! The polaroid, too, resulted so good. Honoka put one of the photos I took from the polaroid on her wallet, and Rebel was smiling like he won a lottery ticket. They were so lovable. But of course, I'm not papatalo!

Akala ko sasabihan ko pa si Law! But he was the one who initiated sweet looking pictures! Like looking at me while I was admiring the aquarium. Holding my hand while we have our backs at the camera.

It was so good! I picked tons of good ones and I'll assemble it in a mini album later!

"Let's go to the Ray Bay!" Honoka mentioned blissfully.

We walked and entered the huge Ray Bay! Wow! The moment I looked up I saw the rays resting! I took pictures of them! Their mouths and gills looked like a happy face! It was so cute. "A spotted eagle ray!" I pointed out, and Law took a candid photo.

That's good, he should do that more often. I'm more beautiful in candid ones.

"Another one! A roughtail!" Honoka clapped and jumped a little when a passing stingray and it looked like it waved at us!

Oh, yeah! They knew we knew them!

"Hala sila, puro stingray lang naman. Paano na nalalaman kung alin ang alin?" kunot-noong tanong ni Rebel sa amin ni Honoka. I rolled my eyes at him.

"Spots, size, whip-tails, and such! You should look closely; they are entirely different!" Honoka answered with a beam, and I agreed with her. Law laughed at us, and I crossed my arms at him, and he smiled awkwardly.

Naglakad pa kami, and we saw more cownose stingray, and southern ones. Then we proceeded more to the Ray Bay, and my eyes widened to see the next one.

"Oh, my royals! A bonnethead shark!" pumapalakpak na sabi ko, tapos tinuro ko 'yung shark na nag-pass by sa taas namin! That was so gorgeous!

"Law, look!" I called him, and he went near me, looking at the shark circling around. He was taking pictures of the giddy me, and was also looking at the shark.

We stopped there, and Honoka with Rebel went to the other side to see more stingrays, and another bonnethead shark.

"I wanted one of those!" I told Law while we were walking to where Honoka and Rebel was, because they have a good view of a resting shark!

"Which one?" Law asked, and I pointed out the Bonnethead Shark! It's so beautiful and cute! I want one! I want one!

Should I ask Mother? Father will make a big deal out of it. Is it pwede kaya? Is it allowed to buy one? Or two? In case they'd be lonely?

"Hoy, Batas!" Surprised ako, and muntik nang mapa-jump no'ng napansin na nakatingin pala sa amin si Rebel at Honoka.

"What?" Law asked innocently. I titled my head at Rebel.

"I know you are also whipped, but bro, hindi 'yan si Nemo at si Dory!" Turo ni Rebel kay Law. While looking at the shark I wanted.

"What?" I interrupted confusingly! Of course, I don't want nemo and dory! They are small, and I don't want another nemo and dory finding them at my house.

"Rebel, tatanungin lang naman kung pwede." Shrugged Law, and I nodded my head to agree with him!

Honoka was laughing and holding her stomach watching the three of us. She was dying, so I went to her. Why is she laughing? Because of Rebel? Ang kontrabida kasi no'ng boyfriend n'ya eh! Bida-bida! Nakakainis! Hindi naman s'ya magte-take care no'n!

"Bro, pating 'yan! Pating!" turo ni Rebel sa nananhimik na pating.

"Oh my pickles. You are all crazy!" Honoka laughed.

"I know, Rebel. Bonnethead," Law answered sarcastically.

"And I'll name it Sharpey!" I told them with a smile! Law chuckled because of me, I went to him, and hugged him on the waist. I was so excited if I could really bring Sharpey home.

"Ay potek! Sharpey pa nga!" Rebel wanted to be mad but he was suddenly laughing with Honoka. He was now trying to speak but couldn't because they were both laughing. He massaged his forehead.

"Alam mo, bahala kayo nyang si Harper, lakas ng trip n'yo sa buhay!" Rebel shouted while trying not to laugh. "Bwisit! Pating pa! Lakas!" he guffawed, and brought Honoka with him to go to the next area.

Law and I looked at each other with a shrug.

"I think Sharpey or Sharpy or Sharkey's a really good name!" I told him, and we walked to follow Rebel and Honoka. They were still laughing, but talking to each other.

Law was giggling at me, and I realized I was still hugging him. Aalisin ko sana, pero inakbayan n'ya ako, kaya hindi ko na rin tinanggal.

We entered a part where I was in awe! Because it was like we entered a new dimension!

It was glowing with dim lights! The Planet Jellies! It was like a huge cinema screen full of different jellyfish that seemed glowing. I slowly walked towards there, slowly breaking the hug, because I wanted to see them up close.

The Pacific Sea Nettles were dancing in the water. They were gleaming so beautifully! I looked at Law, and saw him taking lots of pictures of me. I smiled secretly. It would come out magical, because of the silhouette it would create.

I pointed my fingers at the Moon Jellies, and they were so pretty. I called Law to come near me, and I saw his ghost smile, before hugging me from the back.

"This is beautiful..." I whispered as he rested his head on my shoulder. I was just tracing the glass that was separating me from the magical jellies.

"You are beautiful..." I automatically beamed peacefully when I heard his deep whisper.

I glanced at the other side and saw how Honoka and Rebel were taking pictures of each other, chuckling on each other's arms. I even saw how Rebel stole a peck from Honoka! They were so cute!

They were playing like little kids, but also very intimate in a really nice and cute way. They were just so soft with each other. Rebel's eyes really screamed so powerfully with Honoka around. I could see realness and rawness in those simple stolen glances.

I wondered if Law... looks at me like that. Because that would be really heart fluttering. Though, I would never admit it to him.

"What are you thinking... hmm?" he asked in a hoarse voice.

"Hmmm..." I trailed looking at the upside-down jellies from below. "That I'm so... lucky?"

"Really? Why?"

"Because we... are finally complete. I have you next to me now... without hiding, without worrying about your Ate." I caressed his hand that was resting on my tummy. I heard him giggled delicately, sounding so soft.

"You?" I asked carefully.

"Finally... happy."

"Really? Why?" I copied him, he chuckled more, and he snuggled closer on my neck. I could feel his breathing.

"Ate's back. Momo and Dada finally looked breathing."

I blinked several times because he suddenly felt so vulnerable, and true. It was like the king, the law, and the toughest one was finally letting himself fall back a little from everything.

"You know..." he started. "I needed to stand up and be strong for everyone in the family when Ate disappeared. I searched for her. In different places, islands, countries. That was why I was always away; I also did missions to help Momo and Dada."

I tapped his hand that was around me lightly.

"I never told anyone that I was getting tired too, that I wanted to stop, to rest, and to just be with you. You are my haven, my little peace, my little escape." I pressed my lips together, watching the glowing jellies in front of us.

"But I'll endanger your life, I didn't want that, that was why I... took a step back. Although, hard, and lonely." I closed my eyes. Mas pinakiramdaman ko 'yung paghinga n'ya, pati tibok ng puso n'ya.

"But you are here now, I will be your resting place, your home." I faced him, but I was still inside his arms. He smiled so sincerely at me, he caressed my cheeks.

Good thing there was really no one in this place. I kept thinking that maybe Rebel and Law really rented this particular area. Why?

Rebel and Honoka are dancing in a slow music that was playing on the other side of the jelly cinematic aquarium. They also seemed like talking seriously, and delicately. Honoka rested her head, on Rebel's chest, and I could see Rebel kissing the top of Honoka's head.

"Aurora..." Napalingon ako kay Law nang tawagin n'ya ang name ko.

"Hmm?" He looked at me with eyes full of love, and softness.

Binitawan n'ya ako. I thought he'd go away, but he just suddenly put his hands on the back of his neck. Like he was removing a lock of a necklace. I just watched him do that. Then when he successfully removed the necklace, I saw some kind of pendant... or not.

He took out a ring from the chain of the necklace.

"Aurora..." he called ever-so gently, and he took my hand lightly.

"I have your Mother's blessing, and I talked to Tito Kurt, he told me he'd beat the life out of me, if I ever hurt you." He chuckled a little, but I was just staring at him in awe.

"I also had a good conversation with Dada and Momo. They like you for who you are, and even if they don't... I'd still choose you over and over. And if we are in another life, I'll find you sooner, and never let you be alone in those years that passed..."

I blinked several times at him. I gulped. I wanted to avoid his powerful, intense, but so honest gaze, but he was magnetic, I couldn't even find the strength to glance somewhere—I could only look at him.

"It was already long overdue... but I didn't want to rush you..." he slowly fondled my hand and searched for my eyes.

"Can you let me be yours?" he asked sincerely.

I was staring at him for a good five seconds, unable to process everything because of the loud and fast beats of my heart that was inside my ears. I could feel myself heating up so bad, but I didn't care anymore.

"Hey?" nalilitong tanong n'ya.

I moved my hands to take the ring on his hand. Hindi ko s'ya tiningnan at sinuot 'yun sa sarili ko.

Then I raised my hand at him while smiling widely. His eyes gleamed in surprise, but then it almost vanished with his powerful looking orbs of ashes when he beamed so breathtakingly.

"Bagay, right?" I asked him, and he chuckled loudly before hugging me so tight.

"I love you... Harper Aurora." I giggled more with my heartbeat going crazy, and the hallow pit of butterflies in my stomach tickled me.

"Yeah, you really should, Law, because I'm Harper, a duchess, you know?" he cackled softly but not letting me go.

I inhaled a really huge amount of air, and I hugged him back tightly.

"And... I love you, too, Raphael Law," I whispered with all my heart, hoping it will reach him, and those words will survive in his heart for eternity.
