Yoongi was stressed, the whole palace was in chaos. The wrath of the king did not go unnoticed, by anyone in the villages and the neighbouring countries. Anyone could hear his cries of anger from a mile away, the sound of his army of ghouls and giants stomping through the forests and villages just to search for Himaru. This wasn't terrible, but groundbreaking. If his sister got out and hadn't been caught yet, she was doing a good job, and her brothers were pretty proud.

Yoongi limped through the halls of the Palace, trying hard to not get noticed, or wince. He was lucky to choose to descend from his room later in the night, so he could slip past guards much easier then usual.

He was limping because of the tiredness and bruises, his father had gone a little harsh in his angered tantrum and threw a few things or two. But he brushed the pain and hatred away.

He was going towards his sisters room.

Ever since they were little they were able to feel each others feelings, but for some reason he couldn't feel anything, he was numb, stony and apathetic. So was something wrong? Surely nothing bad had happened to his sister yet, he would be able to know. Why was he not connected to her?

As he shuffled towards his sisters door, he gradually peeled it open, looked towards the pitch black room and surveyed the mess. He made sure he could not see anyone that would dob on him for doing something against the kings orders.

His sisters room was cold, dark, unresponsive, almost like himself at the moment.

When he saw the figure on the girls bed, he froze. He wasn't just feeling numb anymore, he was stressing for his life. This person slowly turned from the paper in his hands and up to meet the prince's stoic stare.

"It's okay." The person whispered. He slowly moved his fingers to indicate for Yoongi to come in and close the door. When the door slid shut behind the brother, he could finally see the man behind the soft words.

His face flamed with heat from the candle being on the desk beside him, eyes swollen from tears of stress and confusion, lips chattering from the cold. The young boys hair was such a perturbed way it looked attractive.

Yoongi let out a sigh of relief.

It was only Taehyung. He had a nervous smile on his face, but it seemed forced. While Yoongi could see the glassiness of his brothers eyes and the unusual paleness of his complexion, he cautiously walked over and sat beside his younger brother.

Yoongi watched as Taehyung flicked his eyes down to the written piece of paper in his hands, before he delicately passed it over to his older brother. "It's Aru's, She's written to us." He subtly whispered.

Yoongi nodded. "I told her to. The king of Daegu isn't our Father anymore Taehyung, we planned long ago to run away to somewhere safer. I can't leave, but the both of you can, before this war begins."

"Don't worry," Yoongi sighed again. "She's okay, I know so."

Taehyung's quiet posture slacked, he seemed more alert at the news. "What?" He questioned. "A war? And do you really promise she's okay? Is this your twin senses telling you?" Taehyung often wasn't allowed out either, so he wouldn't know much of the politics, he neither had much friends out of the castle. He was secluded.

"Yes, yes, and yes," Yoongi confirmed. Looking his little brother deep in his matching brown eyes as a confirmation that he was listening. "A lot of countries are starting to go against Daegu and it's King. Our emperor has done terrible things and people are wanting revenge."

Taehyung only solemnly nodded. "With all my heart I want to run and catch up to our sister," He whispered, pulling his eyes away from his older brothers as he looked down at the letter. "But my gut tells me you need someone by your side."

"I can take care of myself." Yoongi rolled his eyes and gruffly disagreed. "You're safer away from here. I know an attack is soon to begin. And I think our father's beginning it."

Taehyung frustratingly rubbed his temple. "Nothing will make me leave you."

"Whatever then," Yoongi growled. "But you'll get hurt if you stay, and i'm not helping you when you want to leave." Taehyung only giggled at his brothers reply. He knew he was lying.

"Now read the letter." Yoongi ordered.

Taehyung took a deep breath before he read from the paper. His sisters messy and rushed handwriting that he often had seen when she taught her littlest brother how to write resurfaced into his mind.

"Dear Yoongi and Taehyung,

I am sorry for leaving on such short notice without even a plan or knowledge of where I'm going. I neither planned myself, but I also believe telling you both will put more weight and risk on the both of your shoulders. I am the one that deserves all this weight, not my little brothers.

I promise to see you both, it may not be tomorrow, or unfortunately could be in another ten years. With hope, after all these terrifying problems fall, we may lie happily as a family again.

I do not know of what will happen in our future. I may not live to see tomorrow, possibly that may happen to you both aswell.

I'll write to you both as soon as I can. I will never put my burdens on either of you, I hope this one does not affect the two of you too much.

I love you both dearly.

- Himaru."

Yoongi only hummed, sadness weighting in his tone.

"She'll be okay, right?" Taehyung asked.

"Of course she will," Yoong replied, eyes cast over. He was lying, he knew he was, he had no idea if his sister was safe. "She's safe, I know it."
