Petal One:

Jamie sighed heavily as he stared out, once again, at the bright moon hovering in the sky. The vampire's pale face was lit aglow with a holy-like light. I guess that last statement was quite ironic for Jamie was a vampire and despised anything holy.

It wasn't necessarily a cold evening, in fact it was a little warm. Not that the cold blooded being could tell. He didn't understand warmth, unless it was the blood that went down his throat.

He never fed for himself, no. His servants and hunters would do it for him. He was a prince after all. A prince trapped in a castle with only the company of a withering old maid and his harsh minded parents.

He longed for something warm. Not to eat. Not to drink. But to hold, to be held, to feel... Home.

A few twigs snapped in the distance. Jamie flinched before gazing out into the forestry brush near the bottom of the castle.

As soon as he laid eyes on a moving bush, and teen guy walked into the open. Jamie gasped, this guy was a werewolf! The mortal enemy of Vampires.

"Oi! What are you doing on Vampire property??" Jamie yelled to the werewolf.

The werewolf looked up and gave a devilish grin. "Hey! Sorry 'bout this! I don't know where I am!" He called back.

Jamie blinked, "Oh... Well Uhm, I guess you couldn't help it. But isn't it kind of stupid for a WOLF to get lost?" He asked wwith a smirk.

The wolf chuckled, "Funny. What's your name?" He asked.

"Jamie. You?"

"Sage."
