We all sit in the library as everyone tries to come up with a plan how to capture temperance and put her back in the tomb that's on jagger's side of the property where they planned to put her in all those centuries ago. I stand right beside jagger and I grab his hand and I feel his hand starting to shake and he relaxes when my thumb glides over his knuckles. He walks away from me and abel sits beside me on the desk where jagger once was "trouble in paradise?". I glower at him and I spat "maybe this is bringing up past wounds like when you double crossed him".

His eyes widened and he asks "how did you know about that?" I send him a smirk and I say "it doesn't matter how I know abel the point is I know and if I find out your the reason she knows i'm here i'm coming for you". He sends me a raised eyebrow and he asks "you think you can bring a 400 year old vampire to his knee's?". I smirk at him and I focus on his brain and one vessel in his brain and he groans and falls to the floor as he clutches his head in pain I find a smirk on my face and I hear jax say to me "maria? what are you doing?". I hold up my hand and he flies to the closet door and I hold him there I say to abel "you feel that abel? that's me giving your brain a hemorrhage and your blood vessel goes pop like a balloon".

I stop the pain in his head and he looks up at me and I jump up and I hear faith snickering behind me and she follows behind me. I couldn't wipe the smile off of my face from putting abel in his place and I go outside onto the deck and I see jagger sitting on the dock. I turn when I feel faith walk over to me and then ben his blue eyes turn to me and he says his accent very prominent "whenever any of us brings her up it's like she's always got a pull over him I don't know why". I take a deep breath and he places his hand on my shoulder and I say "i'm gonna go talk to him" they both nodd at me I make my way down the steps and towards him on the dock.

Once I got close enough to him I sit beside him and I lay my head onto his shoulder and he lays his head on top of mine and he says "why couldn't you had met me in 1674 you would had liked me then". I smile at him and I reply "I like you now and that's the only time that matters to me is us here and now". A smile crosses his face and I say "you know when I saw in my vision what she did to you I called out your name and I tried to stop it". He grabs my hand and he says "hey it's not your fault" I kiss him on the cheek and he kisses me on the forehead.

When his arms was wrapped around me I felt truly and utterly safe with him. I don't ever wanna leave his arms and I feel him sigh as I was in his arms. I feel his hand rub my back and the last thing I close my eyes and he picks me up bridal style and carried me inside.

When I woke up the next morning I realize I was in my old room that I claimed in my dads house. I get out of the bed and I get dressed and walk downstairs when I see everyone here except jagger and his family. I run a hand through my hair and I say "i'll be right back" I walk out of the house and leave them at the house and I hear lucian ask "she gonna be okay?". I take a deep breath and my mom answers "I don't know" I walk out of the door and towards the woods I always felt at peace in these woods.

I take a deep breath and head straight to the tree I know this tree holds bad memories for jagger and I shouldn't feel drawn to the tree. But I can't help it I walk out of the treeline and just find myself staring at the tree until I hear a twig snap behind me. I grab the knife I keep inside my bra and I turn around quickly and aim my knife at the tree by the treeline. When my eyes saw who was following me my eyes widened when I see an exact replica of myself standing mere inches from my knife and I growl "Temperance".

She sends me a smirk "Maria" my hand finds the necklace and I say "what do you want?" she giggles and grabs the knife from the tree but when she touches the handle it burns her. I smile at her and I say "careful tempy don't wanna hurt yourself" she glares at me she walks closer to me and she says "so how does it feel to have abel and jagger worship at your altar?". I cross my arms over my chest and she says "it's okay to love them both I did". I glare at her and I say "no you didn't love either of them temperance I was wondering when you were gonna show your face to me I always knew you were alive from the minute I saw my vision".

She sends me a smirk and she says "well in the end I did make a choice I chose abel" I roll my eyes at her as we continue our little battle and I say "and left jagger broken hearted". She shrugs and she says "he was to clingy for me" I glare at her and I ask "so instead you stabbed him in the back? why not just let him go he deserves to be happy even if that's not with you but you didn't want that did you? you wanted him miserable but you took that from him temperance he has spent decades trying to repair the pain you caused him well I hope abel was worth it you took him from his family". She scoffs and shakes her head at me and I clench my hand into a fist and she chuckles "that little trick won't work on me did you really think I would come here without a witch on call? what you need to do is unleash that power on the real threat ask jagger who Elijah Senior is and as far as i'm concerned you can take this necklace and choke on it". She snatches the glowing green necklace off of my neck and she says "this is mine" I growl and focus all of my power on her throat and I feel her lungs starting to close as she makes a choking noise.

I send her a smirk and I say to her "who's choking now bitch" I snatch the necklace out of her hand an put it back on my neck. She falls to the ground and I snap her neck the same way jagger taught me I grab her wrist and I say "hey come on out". I smile when I see my dad walk out with jagger not far behind him and dad tosses her body over his shoulder and we start the walk towards the old church on jagger's property it was a makeshift tomb. I was gonna curse her to the tomb where she was meant to be in the first place.

Lucian lays her in the cold dark tomb by the doorway and I take a few deep breaths and I recite the binding spell and I feel anger course through my body "By air and earth by water and fire so be you bound as I desire by three and nine you power I bind by moon and sun my will be done sky and sea keep harm from me cord go round power be bound light revealed now be sealed". Then I see the door to the tomb encase in a bright gold wall and then it becomes see through and then it disappears. I smile when she starts to wake up and she tries to go over the threshold of the old church but she can't walk past it. I send her a wink and she grunts in frustration and she screams when jagger stands behind me and I start to move the rock to lock her in it and she says "it's elijah senior jagger he's after her".

I feel him go rigid behind me I turn to look at him and he says "that's impossible elijah is entombed he can't get out". She chuckles and we continue to close it up and as it closes I hear temperance screaming "you need me you need me". I grab jagger's hand and I feel him physically relax when my hand grabs his. We make our way through the woods and my dad asks "who's elijah senior?". I turn to jagger and he looks at me and he looks at me looking for approval I believe and I nodd at him.

Ben and I train in the woods and I was holding my own and when it was time for a break and ben sat beside me and he hands me a water bottle. I down the water as I catch up on my breath. I feel ben wrap a arm around me and I say "don't even think about it ben I am very sweaty" he chuckles and turns my face back to him and he whispers "I don't care". I feel his lips kiss mine and I find myself smiling into the kiss and I stand to my feet and I pull him up to his feet and I push him against the tree.

I feel him chuckle and he picks me up I wrap my legs around his waist and he pushes me against the tree using his vamp speed. I giggle when I keep kissing him and then I hear a neigh and I break the kiss and he asks "what is it babe?". I place my index finger onto his lips and I hear it again I look at him and I whisper "you hear that?" he nodds at me and I grab his hand and I follow the sound and the sound brings me back to the tree where our ancestors died. My eyes fell onto a giant thoroughbred horse and she was as tall as a mountain my jaw goes slack and when I start making kiss noises her head pops up.

I smile at her and she was light brown in some places but she was dark brown in certain places her mane was long and gorgeous. She makes her way towards me and I notice she has a blue halter on her face she starts eating my hair I giggle she must had thought my hair was hay. I touch her neck and she starts smelling my hair and checking me out. I feel like she imprinted on me where if she was separated from me it would tear me to pieces I kiss the side of her face.

I grab her halter and ben says "she's beautiful" he rubs her side and I say "she belongs to someone or she wouldn't have a halter on". He nodds at me and I say "I think she's my familiar I didn't have an emotional connection with fancy like I do her". A smile crosses his face and he says "here's what we will do when we find her owner we can see if she's willing to sell her to you". He wraps his arm around me as we walk back to maria's house and after I tell my mom I had found a horse and I tell her being my familiar she was excited for me that I had found my familiar.

But as soon as I showed cheryl the horse she gasps "that's harley lockwoods horse how did you find her?" I grunt and I say "we found her behind your house of course her owner is the devil incarnate no wonder she ran away". I hear snickers and jax says "we can take her back to her for you if you like?" I glare at him and I feel like my heart was being torn in two. I put her in one of my stalls for now until harley can come get her as soon as I go upstairs in my room I sit on my bed leaning against my wall.
