Rex Crozz groaned quietly as he laid flat on his stomach on his bed.

"What time is it?" The young man asked, trying to stand up only to freeze when a familiar weight on his back moved and a pair of arms wrapped around his neck. 

"Zzz... Pizza... toast." The person on top of him mumbled out loud as she nuzzled on his back and opened her mouth. 

'Stupid tuna.' The young man thought with a shiver as the Albino leaned in and took a bite that sent shivers down his spine. 

"Hey... Wake up." Rex said as he tried to pry her hands off his neck only to wince when she tightened her grip. 

"No... I wanna sleep more." She sleepily said as she crawled on his back to whisper to his ear. "Sleep with me more..." She said as she frowned and got pushed off him. 

"We still have school, Bakiana," Rex said with a gentle smile and poked her forehead gently. His response was a pout and crossed arms from the albino. "What do you wanna eat?" He asked as he looked at his clock to see it was around 5 in the morning. 

"You," Kiana said absentmindedly only to turn red and sit up. "I mean your breakfast! Yeah! Your breakfast!" Kiana said with a red face as she looked at her childhood friend. 

"Sure." Rex said as he stood up revealing his t-shirt and shorts as he stretched lightly. "You're going to practice again?" He asked as he removed his shirt to reveal his toned back with a stigma of the Crozzo family and knelt down to take a neatly folded towel for him to use.

If you asked her, she would deny that she was enjoying the sight of his back and his ass and that she did not take a very cold shower later. 

"Y-yes! After all, I need to be strong to protect Mei-Senpai!" The idiot tuna said, proudly puffing her chest out with a very bright grin.

"Okay then." The young man answered bluntly as he took some of his clothes and walked to the bathroom only for Kiana to look around and put on the shirt he just removed and took a sniff on it. She did not in any way enjoy his scent. 

"Okay! Kiana Ikimasu!" She said as she took off the shirt and dumped it on the laundry pile to do her morning training routine and even took his sword, Labor of Olympus, for practice.

two hours later

Rex Crozzo, now dressed in a white button-up shirt with the sleeves rolled up can be seen humming as he finally finished cooking their breakfast, with Kiana naturally having the most amount of portion. 

six bowls of rice with a lot of viands while he only has three. Yeah, Kiana Kaslana is a big eater. 

Most of their expenses generally are their food alone so.

"Thanks for the food!" Kiana said with a smile as she sat down and started to happily devour her meals. Rex, meanwhile, just started to eat his meal as Kiana started to tell her about her and that Mei person's experiences. Well, at least she has another friend than him. 

As they ate, the young man noticed that Kiana had stopped eating her meals and pouted as she looked up at him with a sad look. 

"Hey... do you really have to go?" Kiana asked. 

"Yeah, it's just for a week at most. Don't worry. Besides, it's just a thesis report, you know." The young man said with a smile as he looked at her. They were both 14 now and they had spent the last 4 years together and she did not like to be separated from him for long. Well, she can bear it if she was with Mei, but. 

"Stupid thesis." the young girl grumbled under her breath as she ate her meal. 

"I also have an important date to attend in the week I'm gone." A pair of chopsticks broke and the empty bowl barely hang on to life as the Kaslana narrowed her eyes at her oldest friend. "I have to meet the department head and we will be meeting someone from Europe." Standing up, Kiana's hair covered her eyes. 

She silently stalked towards him.

"Kiana?"

"Hmph! I'm not talking to you!" She said as she pulled the chair he was on and sat on his lap. 

"Hey. I can't eat like this." Ren said as Kiana used him as a chair. 

"Hmph!" No, she was not jealous that he was gonna spend his time to meet someone or anything. "Feed me." 

Just like a cat, the white-haired girl ordered her demand with a pout as her blue eyes looked at him. 

being in no mood to argue, Rex just reached in and fed her her portion using his own chopsticks. 

"Rex... do you think I will find Papa?" Kiana asked weakly, showing her most vulnerable side to the person she trusted the most. Quivering blue eyes looked at understanding dark eyes nodded with a smile. 

"You will, you know uncle Ziggy loves you a lot," Rex said while he used his thumb to wipe some stain near her mouth and wipe it on his mouth with Kiana not seeming to mind. 

"Pervert.." She said quietly as she faced him while sitting on his lap and embraced him gently. "Come back soon okay? Don't leave me." 

"I will, and I won't leave you." 'as long as you need me.' 

"Promise me." Kiana looked at him as she held his arms and wrapped them around her waist while she wrapped her arms around his neck. "Please... promise me." 'that you won't leave me, I need you.'

The young man just smiled and pulled her towards a tight hug. Feeling this, Kiana relaxed towards the hug, smiling happily as she nuzzled on the crook of his neck

'I'll be here until you don't need me anymore.'

A few hours later, Rex waved goodbye at his childhood friend as he entered the train to the next city while carrying a bag and a guitar case holding the Labor of Olympus. 

"Rex!" Kiana shouted. Rex looked behind him to see Kiana grinning at him happily and pulled him towards her with her scarf and kissed his cheek. "Come back soon." She whispered to his ear with a blush and ran away as Rex went inside the train by himself.
