Rex sighed as he put the key and unlocked the front door of his and Kiana's apartment. The last week had been taxing on him and right now he just wanted to rest.

Walking in, the young man closed the door.

"I'm back," he called out as he removed his trench coat and hung it on the rack. He went towards the kitchen to try and prepare some snacks.

'She might be sleeping.' The young man thought as he loosened his tie, rolled his sleeves, and entered the kitchen only to stop and blush at an angel... no, angels in front of him.

(Ignore the others just focus on Kiana and Mei)

Rex smiled at the sight but did frown as his presence was ignored. Well, it seems like the two were busy so...

Fixing himself up, the young man opted to just go to his room only to blink at the mess. His bed was disturbed and looks like someone dug onto his jackets and hoodies.

'Bakiana.' he thought as he took off his shirt and pants leaving him on his boxers. Putting on some casual clothes, the young man came down the stairs only to hear the door close and for him to come face-to-face with the purple-haired girl.

Darm stared at purple. Rex looked at Kiana and the girl, nervously holding onto a sword-like umbrella

"Kendo?" Rex asked as he noticed her stance.

"W-who are you?" Mei asked as she pointed the umbrella at him.

"You must be Mei. Kiana told me a lot about you." He replied nonchalantly as he watched her like a hawk.

"Wait... dark hair and eyes... Having a lazy unreliable look..." Mei said, trying to think about what Kiana told her. "S-sorry! You must be Rex Crozzo-san." The purple-haired girl bowed allowing Rex to see her generous 'assets' to bounce.

On her way to the store, Kiana stopped and felt like giving Rex a good punch or two.

"No formalities and please call me Rex," Rex said with a smile as he entered the kitchen. "Mind if I help with lunch?" The young man asked.

"I don't mind," Mei said with a blush. She had just messed up and probably made a bad impression on her junior's best friend and roommate.

Nodding to her answer, the young man put on his apron and started to help her cook.

"So... Crozzo-san." She flinched as Rex looked at her. "I, I mean Rex-san." Ren just sighed. He knew Japanese people were respectful and preferred using last names or with suffixes. "H-how long have you known Kiana-chan for?"

Having nothing else to talk about, the heiress asked a question about her junior and Rex just shrugged.

"For four years now. we first met when we were ten and we just kinda walked off together." He told Mei as he cut the vegetables.

The once awkward silence made itself known again.

"Thank you," Rex suddenly said as he helped her cook, much to her confusion. 

"For what?" She asked as she looked at the younger male

"Kiana has been talking a lot about you and for a long time now, I was her only friend." Rex said as he helped her cook. "In fact, I can say with complete certainty that you are a very dear friend to her, that's why." 

Mei's eyes widened as Rex bowed in front of her to show how sincere he was. 

"Please raise your head, Crozzo-san. I'm also happy that I befriended Kiana-Chan."

"Please call me Rex." He said with a smile as the two finished cooking their meal. Well, most of them were for Kiana anyways. 

"Then please call me Mei." The female swordswoman said with a smile as the two enjoyed the less awkward air around them. 

"You do, Kendo, right?" 

"Yes. Do you?" 

"Well... not really. But its swordplay passed down from my family for generations."

"May I know its name?" 

"Well... if you marry me I'll tell you." the blush from the female swordswoman was so adorable that he looked at the other way. 

"I... I..." Mei was so red that steam escaped from her ears. 

"I'm just teasing you, Mei." Hearing this, the purple-haired swordswoman pouted and looked at Rex. 

"That's not nice, Rex." 

"Sorry, Sorry. My sword style is a personalized version of my family's own style. I call it, Killer Whale sword." He told her as he took some potholders and prepared the food with her. 

As the two were setting up the table, Kiana smiled happily as she listened from behind the door. It seems like her best friend and beloved Mei had hit it off well. 

Suddenly, a scream from Mei took her attention and she kicked the door open and rushed in!

"DON'T YOU DARE DO ANYTHING TO MEI-SENPAI THAT YOU HAVEN'T DONE TO ME YET!" Kiana shouted only to see a slightly wet Rex Crozzo, his white shirt being see-through, showing his muscles and toned torso. Adding to the fact that he had his hair down... a drop of blood escaped Kiana's nose. 

"K-Kiana-Chan!" 

"Oi! Bakiana!" 

What also increased the intensity was that Mei was straddling Rex and had him pinned down on the floor. It looked like they were doing it. So the young Kaslana passed with a nosebleed and a perverted grin on her face.

Dun dun dun! 

who do you guys think Kallen and Reinhardt are? Remember this is currently the 2014 era so they can't be the original ones. 

And now, something is waking up inside Kiana lol! 

Anyways, since Rex and Mei's part 1 is done, we can go to the other couples.
