If so, you've come to the right place.

✎ I have an extensive background in writing and editing, including formal training from my college as well as copyediting experience with published authors. I always strive to give helpful, constructive feedback.

✎ I specialize in structural edits, which means if you are having issues figuring out what's "wrong" or "off" about a story, I'm very good at figuring out where the problem is. I am also able to offer character critiques and general critiques. 

✎ As a forewarning, constructive criticism can come off as harsh or mean if you're not used to receiving it; it is not my intent to come across this way. Critiques are not criticisms of you as a person, nor it is me saying you're hopeless as a writer. Instead, they are me drawing your attention to something that is fixable. My goal with my feedback is to identify what your story is trying to achieve and find what, if anything, is preventing it from reaching that goal.

✎ Please do not apply if you're not genuinely interested on improving your story. I understand that writing is hard, and sometimes we want people to read our story and love it while it's still imperfect. This is not the place to ask for these types of reviews. I didn't begin to improve until people pointed out my writing flaws and I learned how to overcome them, and I would like to give other writers the same opportunity.
