Akiri is currently working on a quest, in a cave area. He was killing a group of high level monsters. He rushes over to one of them and slashes it and it bursts into pixels. He ran over to another one and uses the sword skill <<Savage Fulcrum>> and kills it.

After a while, he completed the quest and were given the reward item.

Akiri: The children are gonna love this

He then got a message and he opened it to see that it was from Heathcliff. He read it and he sighs.

Akiri: Looks like my vacation is over

He then made his way out of the cave towards the town.

(Timeskip)

After receiving the message by heathcliff to meet at their base, he teleported to floor 55 and went straight to the direction of the KOB headquarters.

On his way there, he was called by a female voice.

???: Akiri!

He turned around  and smiled as he saw a familiar girl approaching him.

Akiri: Hey, Koharu. Long time no see

The girl known as Koharu smiled.

Koharu: Yeah, sorry about that. We've just been busy with the quests lately

Akiri looks around and notices that someone is missing.

Akiri: Where's your boyfriend?

Koharu blushes and started to get flustered.

Koharu: H-he's not my boyfriend!

Akiri: Whatever you say, Koharu

Koharu: A-anyway, he's on his way to the other members of the assault team to share the info we got about the floor boss while I'm on my way to the KOB

Akiri: Oh, you guys finished the quest?

Koharu: Yeah

Akiri: Well, I'm headed to headquarters as well. Wanna come with me? We can have a chat on the way

Koharu: Sounds great

They then walked together to the KOB headquarters.

When they arrived, they walked into the meeting room where Heathcliff is waiting and they saw that Kirito and Asuna was already there.

Kirito: Akiri

Akiri: Hey

Kirito and Asuna looks to the person besides him.

Asuna: Koharu!

Asuna ran over to the girl to give her a hug.

Asuna: It's been so long

Koharu: Yes it has

Koharu returned the hug and a few moments later they broke the hug.

Akiri: She's got important information about the floor boss

Heathcliff: Well, before that there is something I need to tell you

Akiri: What is it?

Heathcliff: It's about the recon team we sent to scout the boss area...

Koharu: What about them?

Heathcliff took a deep breath before answering.

Heathcliff: They were all wiped out

Everyone looked at Heathcliff wide eyed, totally shocked.

Kirito: Wiped out?!

Heathcliff: We sent in a twenty member party, taken from five different guilds, to prepare for the boss fight. However, when the first ten reached the center of the room, the boss appeared and the entrance closed. 

Akiri: It's an anti crystal area...

Heathcliff: And when it opened five minutes later, nothing remained in the room. Neither of the ten, nor the boss

Koharu: In five minutes...

Kirito: That's crazy...

Heatcliff: But we cannot give up on clearing the game. We'll have to attack with the largest group we can

Kirito: We'll help. However, Asuna's safety is my highest priority. If things get bad. I will protect her over the rest of the party

Heathcliff: A person is very strong when he seeks to protect something. I'll expect a good fight. Now, let us hear about the floor boss info you've gathered

Koharu: Right

All of them then listened closely to Koharu while she explains everything that was gathered on the floor boss.

(Timeskip)

After they finished getting ready, Akiri, Kirito and Asuna made their way to the 75th floor to join the assault team. As they made their way through the crowd, many people started to talk about them and they just ignored them. They then heard someone call them from behind and it was Klein and Agil.

Kirito: What? You guys are coming too?

Agil: You should be happy to see me. I shut my shop down to come and help. You don't even understand my selfless desire to help?

Akiri: Oh, so it's okay if we remove you from the item drop list then

Agil: I wouldn't take it that far...

They all started to laugh and suddenly, everyone heard the teleport gate being used. They looked over to see that it was Heathcliff and the other high ranking members of the KOB. Heathcliff then pulled out a teleport crystal and held it in front of him.

Heathcliff: Open corridor

A portal then opened up in front of them.

Heathcliff: Now, let's go

Everyone walked through the portal and teleported to the front of the boss room's door and they started to check their gear and items.

Asuna: I don't like this place...

Kirito: Yeah

Akiri: I have a bad feeling about this...

Heathcliff: Is everyone ready? The Knights of Blood Oath will take the majority of damage on the front line. While we do, I'd like the rest to discern its attack patterns and prepare to change tactics as necessary. It will be a difficult battle, but I have faith that we will prevail. For our freedom!

Everyone started to cheer and Heathcliff went to open the door. Akiri looked towards Heathcliff and he looked over towards Asuna to see that she was holding Kirito's hand.

Asuna: It'll be okay. I'll protect you. So you protect me, okay?

Kirito: Yeah, I will

Akiri then looked down saddened and suddenly, he felt someone holding his hand.

Asuna: I'll protect you too Akiri

Akiri looked towards Asuna and had a small smile.

Akiri: Thanks, Asuna. And you know I'll protect you. Always

Asuna just smiled at him.

As Heathcliff open up the door, everyone started to draw their weapons. Kirito draws his "Elucidator" and "Dark Repulser". Kirito then looked towards Akiri to see him drawing his "Lightbringer".

Kirito: Don't die

Akiri: I have promise to keep, so dying is not an option

Agil: I'm gonna make a fortune off today's drops. I have no intention of dying

The door then was fully opened and Heathcliff yelled towards the assault team

Heathcliff: Charge!

The entirety of the assault time then ran into the room and once they reached the middle, the door behind them suddenly disappears into thin air. Everyone looked around the room to see that it was empty and the boss was nowhere to be found.

Akiri: (thoughts) If it's not in front, behind, left or right... Then it must be...

His eyes widened and he heard a sound coming from above and he quickly looked up.

Akiri: Above!

Everyone looked up and was shocked to see a skeletal centipede with two scythes on its arms.

Kirito: The Skull...

Akiri: Reaper...?

The Skull Reaper's HP then appeared to reveal that it have 5 of them.

Heathcliff: Stay away from it!

The boss then jumped down and Akiri saw that there was two players right under it.

Akiri: Get out of there!

The two players then started to run away, but it was two late as the Skull Reaper landed and slashes the both of them, killing them instantly. Everyone looked towards the boss in complete shock and horror.

Klein: W-with one hit?

Agil: That's insane...

Akiri: We just have to make sure to not get hit

Kirito: Easy for you to say

The boss then rush over to the group and was about to attack another player, but Heathcliff quickly went in front of him and blocks its attack with his shield, but the Skull Reaper reached over and slashes the player that was behind him, killing the player. The boss then went up the wall and circles the group.

Kirito: We can't even get close to it!

The boss then rushes over to another player and Kirito rushes over to them.

Kirito: Get back!

Kirito went and cross guard with his swords, but the attack was too powerful, it brought him to his knees and nearly cut him in half.

Kirito: (thoughts) It's too strong...

Heathcliff and Asuna came rushing in and pushed back the Skull Reaper. Akiri then ran over and attacks it. The boss then slashed back at him, but he jumps back to avoid the attack. Kirito and Asuna then went beside Akiri.

Kirito: What's the plan?

Akiri: Even with the info Koharu gave us, we still don't know its attack patterns yet, so using high-hit sword skills is gonna be risky. Right now, I am the only one who can deal a decent amount of damage to it with my unique skill. You guys should distract it and keep it busy while I go on the offensive

Kirito + Asuna: Roger!

Kirito, Asuna and Heathcliff keeps it busy from the front while, Akiri and the other players attacked it from the sides. However, the Skull Reaper continues to kill the players one by one and Akiri saw that they were barely making any progress on the boss's HP bars.

Akiri: (thoughts) I have to do better

Heathcliff looked towards Akiri who was attacking the boss with a barrage of fast slashes. He notices that the boss's HP is dropping down faster than it normally should and he smirked.

Heathcliff: (thoughts) I see... He has it...

(Timeskip)

The battle against the boss rages on. Everyone was slowly dealing damage to the boss while defending against its attacks. After about two long hours of fighting, the boss was finally on its last slither of HP.

Heathcliff: Everyone, attack!

Everyone then rushed the Skull Reaper and started to use their sword skills and hits it with everything they got. After a long battle, they have finally managed to kill the boss and it bursts into pixels as the congratulations screen pops up.
