Grian was being sponsored. This was nothing new, of course; that's how he made a lot of his money. What made this particular sponsorship different was that he had to do it as a team with a couple of other people who'd been sponsored by the same game. The issue? He didn't know who 'Iskall85' or 'MumboJumbo' were. Looking them up, it seemed that Iskall mostly played Valorant, while Mumbo was a variety streamer who focused on weird puzzle games. Throw in Grian, the Among Us player, and you get certainly an odd mix for a sponsored game of Fall Guys.

This was going to go perfectly, and nothing would go sideways at all.

The recording started off alright, Grian had to admit. Their energies hadn't immediately clashed with each other, and they were all somewhat competent at what they were doing. Mumbo was the worst of the trio, and even then he only had a couple of what he called 'spoon moments'. Grian was going to have to ask him what that meant later, for his viewers' sake if anything, even if the phrase was hilarious out-of-context.

They got to the final in their first game, just as the banter between the trio was warming up. It was a classic Fall Mountain finale, so their chances were somewhat decent. They didn't win, sadly - Mumbo had a spoon moment at the most unfortunate point, and Grian slipped up a little bit later, but Iskall was a split second from being the one to grab that crown. Still, for the first ever game that the three had played together, it went off amazingly.

At some point in the recording session, two or three games later, Iskall suggested that they all dress up like dragons in order to be 'Dragon Bros', whatever that meant. Grian and Mumbo went along with it, still giggling as the game started. It turned out that all three of them had incredibly infectious laughter, and they were all grinning stupidly when the first round ended, with all three qualified. For three people that had never interacted before this, their senses of humour bounced off each other surprisingly well. Maybe in another universe they were friends or something.

Still, in the end, all good things had to come to an end. They made it to the final in pretty much every game, but it took them a few more games still after the game where they decided to be Dragon Bros for even one of them to win. Surprisingly, it was Mumbo, out of all of them, who had won first. Turns out that Mumbo was just really really good at jumping over something that could spin very fast.

They wrapped up the recording session, then remained in VC afterwards.

"You know, if either of you want to try Among Us at some point, I think I can safely say that you have a standing invite to any lobby with me." Grian offered.

"Oh, absolutely, you two can play with me at any time." Iskall agreed.

"Yep! If ever I'm doing a co-op game, you two are at the top of my list." Mumbo added.

"Well, chaps, I've got to be off now. It was wonderful meeting you both." Grian bade farewell, and left the call as his goodbyes were reciprocated.

It was only after the fact that he realised he never asked Mumbo why he called 'spoon moments' that.

Ok this one was hard given the fandom, but consider: AU where they don't Minecraft. And never met each other through Hermitcraft. So now they're only just meeting.
