Happy April Fool's Day! Enjoy!

"Hey Iskall!" Ren yelled from the base of the tree. From what Iskall could make out, he had his guitar. Considering the date, this did not bode well. Oh well. Iskall resigned themself to their fate, and flew down to Ren.

"What."

"I have a song," Ren indicated his guitar, "About our bromance."

"Can I go on record as being terrified, considering the date?" Iskall asked.

"Sure." Ren grinned, flashing his werewolf fangs at Iskall. "But that won't stop me."

With that, Ren began strumming his guitar, in a horribly familiar tune. Iskall buried their face in their hands. Just then, Ren began to sing, confirming Iskall's worst fears.

"We're no strangers to love," Ren sang, "You know the rules, and so do I!"

"No..." Whined Iskall.

"A full commitment's what I'm thinking of," Ren continued, unbothered by Iskall losing their mind. "You wouldn't get this from any other guy!"

Iskall began chuckling, trying not to interrupt the song.

"I just wanna tell you how I'm feeling, gotta make you understand!"

Iskall's laughter turned into an outright cackle, but Ren kept singing.

"Never gonna give you up, never gonna let you down, never gonna run around and desert you! Never gonna make you cry, never gonna say goodbye, never gonna tell a lie and hurt you!"

"We've known each other for so long," Iskall suddenly cut in. "Your heart's been aching but you're too shy to say it."

Ren took it in his stride, and kept strumming.

"Inside we both know what's been going on," Iskall shrugged, continuing. "We know the game and we're gonna play it!"

They clambered up one of the roots like it was a stage, holding an invisible microphone.

"And if you ask me how I'm feeling, don't tell me you're too blind to see!"

"Never gonna give you up!" Ren sang.

"Never gonna let you down!"

"Never gonna run around and desert you!"

"Never gonna make you cry!"

"Never gonna say goodbye!"

"Never gonna tell a lie and hurt you!"
