Paranormal: Is a genre that includes stories that are set in the real life world that features experiences beyond the scientific explanation. In the paranormal genre it can be mixed with other book genres and sub-genres. Stories can be included with creature and phenomena with popular folklore, fairytales and popular cultures with ghosts, vampires, werewolves, witches, aliens, and shapeshifters. Example of stories are The Raven by Edgar Allan Poe, Doctor Sleep by Stephen King, Twilight by Stephanie Meyer, Moon Called by Patricia Briggs, and The Dresden Files by Jim Butcher.
