I rushed over to Zeta, he laid on the ground, hurt from a big whap in the face. I picked him up, and dragged him to the borrow. Once I was inside, I put him down on my blanket. His clothing was scratched up, and I even saw his tail, it was yellow, poufy and unusually long. He awoken, hurting. “I need a med kit, a lot of them actually.” Said Zeta. I saw his mask broken to where I could see his face, and he really was a cat-human thing. “I’ll go get some, I’ll be back.” I said to him. I walked away, but he stopped me with; “Thank you, for helping me, and saving me.” Said Zeta. I turned around and looked at him. “No problem, but I’ll be back in a few minutes, stay here.” I said as I crawled out. I looked around, and it was dark. I knew the way home, so I began running home. I reached the front door. I opened it slightly, and looked inside. I walked in, but no one saw me or greeted me. I went to the bathroom to do my business and get a few meds. Then my mom saw me. “WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE!!!” She yelled. “What do you mean? I am your…” I said before getting interrupted. “I know, you are in so much trouble by the police and some scientist, you shouldn’t be here, or you’ll get caught. Take what you need and get out of here!!” She yelled. I looked around at my room, and my stuff was scattered and ripped apart. “I’ll go then, and I’m going to need a few things.” I said as I walked into my room and shut the door. I grabbed a few things and the meds and jumped out the window, and I was off to my new home; the borrow near the lake. I crawled back in the borrow, and Zeta waited there for me. “You okay?” Zeta asked. I looked at a picture that I found in my backpack while looking for the meds, it was the picture I took of my mom and dad in the tree house I made in the trees here at the lake. Slowly, a tear dripped off my face, big enough to where Zeta could see it. “I can’t go back, I skipped school, I knocked out two officers, I technically stole a scientist’s creation, and I was out past curfew. There’s no way to go home with out going back to juvey, or jail. I have to stay here with you, there’s nowhere else to go.” I said. It was true, I knew nothing about taking care of myself, especially when I’m caught all up in this. “You can stay with me.” Said Zeta. Me? With a cat person? Idk. “Really?” I said to him. “Yes, but you need to help me take care of this Hollowed Man, okay?” Asked Zeta. I already had the heart of a Greek goddess, and the will of a warrior so; “I will, and I’ll get him back for your and my struggles.” I said. “Great then, I’m glad you’ll help, and I’m glad you’ll stay, but we need to go to sleep, have any blankets?” Asked Zeta. “No, I left the one I brought earlier at home, but I only have a pillow, and a medical blanket. Why is there such a thing as a medical blanket?” I asked. Zeta shrugged, and laid on the ground. “You have fur, so I need the blanket. You can use the pillow, but let me use your tail as a…” I said before getting interrupted. “No, I can use my tail as my own pillow, thank you very much.” Said Zeta. I laid down, staring at the ceiling. I closed my eyes and fell asleep.
