One of the first mistakes you ever made,
was waiting for her by the ferris wheel that night.

You'd made it a long way down the road.

But that day, when the fair came to town,
your eyes sparkled and you immediately made up your mind.

You wanted to see the city from up high.
You wanted to ride to the top, with her by your side.

She never showed up to see the sky.
She stayed in her room, buried nose-deep in those golden pages.

Completely lost in the world of words,
