Jedediah Williams pulls his ranch pickup up to Traven and Raely's house. Noticing action at the twins sand pit he heads over there first. Half way there Markus and Jakeston run to him screaming their nickname for him. He notices that they are both covered in sand which would make sense, they are boys after all.

"Jedi, we are having a sand fight!" Markus declares as Jakeston disappears.

"I see that you look like you ate some too." Jedediah chuckles. As a sand ball hits his back Jedediah looks up to see the most beautiful women he had laid eyes on walking towards him. He had to bite his cheek to keep from laughing. Her hair was a mess with sand all in it, but that just added to her beauty.

"Uh, I'm Jedediah Williams is Rae- Raely around?" He stumbles over his words.

"Momma is riding." Markus tells him as yet another sand ball hits him, this time on the shoulder.

"Aubrey Newben. Nice to meet you." A blush covers her cheeks under the ingrained sand.

"You too." Yet another ball hits his back, this time he spins around and scoops the laughing Jakeston up and carries him to the sand pile with Markus following in fits of laughter. A little boy that looks to be about the same age as the twins follows behind Markus half heartedly.

Jedediah covers the still laughing boy in the sand.

"You little turkey! No more throwing sand at me!" He tells the boy good naturedly while tickling him. Markus jumps on his back and takes his hat off revealing Jedediah's light brown hair. The other little boy Jedediah had heard Markus call Cole dumps a bucket full of sand on the top of his head. Jedediah shakes his head like a dog that just got out of water sending the boys and Aubrey into fits of laughter. The fact that he had made a beautiful girl, that he would like to get to know, laugh made him giddy. When he shakes his head it sends sand flying in all directions. Jakeston, Markus and Cole throw sand at him, giggling their childish giggles.

Jedediah throws sand back delighting the children. Cole throws a fistful at Aubrey bringing her back into the fight. After he throws a ball at Markus, Jedediah discreetly throws one at Aubrey. She shrieks and double fires both fistfuls at him. He laughs and throws more at her.

"Momma! I buried Markus!" Cole declares running up to Aubrey and pointing to the sand covered boy. Jedediah stops short and a confused look over takes his face.

"I see! Very good," Aubrey praises. She glances at Jedediah, her face falls. It was nothing new, every guys she has met since she got pregnant has ran at the first sign of Cole being hers. She should be used to it by now.

"Jedi are you staying to eat?" Markus asks from where he sits in sand.

"I don't know buddy I probably ought to get home so I can feed." Aubrey tries not to let her disappointment show. Wasn't there a guy on this planet that could except that she had made a wrong move? No! She couldn't let those thoughts get to her.

"Miss Aubrey when's Momma gonna be home?" Jakeston asks sitting down in her lap.

"She should be home soon," she tells the child.

"Can we go inside?" Markus asks uncovering himself.

"Sure are you two ready?" With nods from Jakeston and Cole she stands up from her spot in the sand. She picks Cole and Jakeston up at their request and bends to pick up Markus up.

"I'll take him." Jedediah hastily picks Markus up with a small smile in Aubrey's direction.

"Thank you," she mutters as he opens the door allowing her to go in first. As they walk in the house Raely rides up to the barn to unsaddle. As she turns her horse a loose Traven pulls up.

"I guess I should get going." Jedediah announces as the Long couple walks in the door.

"You should stay for supper!" Traven declares looking to Raely for back up.

"Yeah! We always have room for a couple more at our table!" Raely tells him warmly.

"I don't want to impose." He makes a excuse to get out of the awkwardness.

"You are by no means imposing and you should know that by now!" Traven declares.

"Jedi pwwweeeeease stay!" Markus pleads.

"I guess I can stay for you," Jedediah tells the small child as he picks him up.

"Yeah!" The twins chorus together. Aubrey silently groans. The awkward situation really has to keep on?

Lord I need you.

"Up please." Cole voices holding his arms up to Aubrey. With a small smile picks him up and kisses the top of his head.

Raely cooks releasing Aubrey from the pressure of cooking for a random guy that if she was being honest, she liked. While Raely cooks Aubrey reads Cole his favorite book, Guess How Much I Love You. She had read the book to him since he was born and could recite the whole thing by memory. As soon as she finishes the book she takes Cole with her to the bathroom where she washes her face attempting to get the sand off her face. When her own face is half way clean she starts on Cole. Once she is done Cole runs off to play with MJ.

"Food is ready!" Raely calls. Scrambling toddler feet make their way to the dining room. Aubrey sits Cole in his high chair before making him a plate. After Traven says the blessing the adults fix their plates and begin to eat.

"So I guess you two met?" Traven starts the conversation glancing from Aubrey to Jedediah.

"Yeah we met." Jedediah answers attempting to blow it off as nothing.

"Like names meeting or like who I am meeting?" Traven taunts earning a glare from both Aubrey and Jedediah.

"Just names." Aubrey states before giving Cole another bite of food.

"Well should I give the story of who y'all are or would you like too?" He teases receiving a visible elbowing from Raely. After a few seconds on silence he takes it upon him self to continue. "Okay well! Jedediah is a single cowboy that works on the camp over to the West. He is a good hand and a firm believer. Aubrey is a devout Christian and our stay in babysitter who has saved our hide."

Aubrey sends Traven a thankful smile for not mentioning the 'Cole situation'. Not that she didn't want Jedediah to know it was just she didn't like talking about it with more than one person. And that could potentially bring up 'what happen to dad' with Cole and she sure didn't want to have to try and explain with an audience.

"I'll clean up." Aubrey announces as everyone finishes.

"Are you sure?" Raely asks.

"Yeah," she reassures her with a small smile that doesn't reach her eyes.

"I guess I better get home. I need to feed." Jedediah announces.

"Okay, it was good to have you." Traven tells him as they shake hands in the living room.

"It was really good." Jedediah tells Raely.

"I'm glad it was edible," she jokes.

"You know everything you cook is amazing." He assures her.

"Thank you."

Jedediah nods and heads to the kitchen as much as he doesn't want to. He has to at least go get his hat from the kitchen room. As he enters he finds Aubrey at the sink washing the dishes.

"It was nice to meet you Aubrey."

"You too, Jedediah." He can't help, but love the way his name rolls off her tongue. With a tip of his hat he steps out the door. Once at his pickup he pulls his phone in the radio and clicks on the iHeartRadio app. He chooses KLove for his drive home.

Lord I need your guidance! You are the one True God. I need help, I like Aubrey the little bit I have been around her. Is it just my human flesh getting in the way or is there a deeper reason I feel attracted to her?

Aubrey gives Cole a bath and showers herself before climbing into bed with a heavy heart.

Lord, I need help. Take over my thoughts. I like Jedediah, but it seems he is just like every other guy. He runs when hearing about Cole. Lord guide me so that I am following Your will. Am I just facing a trial or is this something that You have a further plan with?

Aubrey falls asleep singing Guilty by the News Boys.
