"Alright, so when Sara, Tyler, and Reid are in the car on their way to the dance, we cause a huge accident and you take Sara whereas I walk up to Tyler and Reid, making them will their Power to me. Then after you take Caleb's Power, we kill Sara and go to Gloucester and I'll make Pogue will his Power over to you. Ending Kate," I smirked while swinging our connected hands as we walked in the forest, the sun setting as the pinks blues reds and purples painted the sky.

"Haven, I love you," Chase said as we stopped and he crashed his lips onto mine. I kissed back, and Chase pushed us to where my back was touching a tree.

"Chase, what's wrong?" I asked once I pulled away.

"I'm sorry, Amica Mea (my love). But I can't have you hurt at all. I need you out of the way," Chase explained.

"What the hell are you talking about?" I seethed.

"I'm sorry, Haven," Chase said as he kissed me again. "but I have to do this alone,"

"Chase Goodwin Pope Collins!" I cried out as Chase pulled away from me and branches and I tried to break away. "What the hell?! Chase, you can't, you'll die!" I cried.

"Just trust me, Haven!" Chase said as he walked away.

"Chase!" I sobbed. "Please don't leave me," I whimpered as I stared at the retreating figure...

~°•Chase's Perspective (For the rest of the chapter)•°~

-The night before-

After I told Haven to pack, I quickly ran over to Sara's room and cast a masking spell, making me look like Caleb before she could even turn. Once I have been masked, Sara turned around and gasped.

"Hey," she greeted. I walked into her room and sighed, running a hand over my face."What's wrong?" She asked as she closed her book.

"Have you seen Pogue?" I asked, my voice mimicking Caleb's. I sat on the edge of her bed and Sara sat on my left.

"Uh, no. But I called him about Kate," Sara answered.

"Well, how is she?"

"Not so good," Sara shook her head. "But they said they'd call if there were any changes,"
Then three knocks rang out, causing me to jump a little and both, Sara and I to face the door. Sara stood up and walked over to the door, "Maybe this is him," Sara answered the door to reveal Caleb.

"Pogue's been in an accident," Caleb sighed as Sara looked between Caleb and me. I Used to knock Sara out and move her to her bed and unmask myself. As Caleb was about to run in, I held an arm out.

"Stop right there," My voice coming back. "Close the door," I jerked my arm. Caleb closed the door slowly with a scared, yet brave face. I dropped my arm back to my side and moved to where my back was on the headboard and I threw an arm around Sara. "Let's keep this between the Sons of Ipswich," I tapped on Sara's shoulder twice, controlling a spider to appear. Creation.

"Don't hurt her," Caleb said as he took a couple steps forward. "She has nothing to do with this,"

"Whether she lives or dies, is entirely up to you, my friends," I chuckled as I played with Sara's scarf. "You can't imagine what it was like growing up not knowing what this was," I shook my head as anger began to boil my blood, "When I finally found my real father, he filled in all the missing pieces," I began to explain as the spider crawled all over her face. "But it was too late. I was hooked. By then he was such a bitter, old man," I chuckled. "Or should I saw bitter, old, young man. That all he wanted to do was end the suffering. Like all our bloodlines before us, he was more than willing to break the laws of your sacred little club," I closed my eyes sighing. I then snapped them open, looking at Caleb chuckling like the Mad Hatter. "So I got him to give me his share of the Power," the spider slipped into Sara's ear and a disease began to form into her veins. "and he died, knowing that his son was going to get revenge on your Covenant,"

"You keep her in that spell and she'll die," Caleb warned.

"I know," I smirked.

"What is this all about? I mean, what do you want?" Caleb growled.

"Want?" I started to get pissed off. I stood up, knocking a tray over. "I'm Chase Collins. I have everything I could possibly want," I walked up to him, "It's what I need," I dropped the smirk, then painted it back onto my face, "more Power," I then walked over to Kate's desk and chuckled. The spell spreading over Sara's face. "Tomorrow night, birthday boy. The exact moment when you Ascend..." I looked up and held up my hand at the word Ascend, "...be at Putnam Barn where you will Will me your Power. Do that, and I'll let her live," I motioned to Sara. "and Pogue, Reid, Kate, Tyler, your mom and the rest of the families," I said as I knocked over a lamp, "and Haven," I growled the name. This somehow got his attention. "And don't think I won't kill them," I walked up to him. "It comes naturally to me. Just ask my adoptive parents,"

"You killed that kid at the Dells," Caleb said with realization. I sucked on my bottom lip, letting it go as I answered.

"Well, he caught me doing a little magic. At first, he wasn't sure, but then he wouldn't leave it alone. So I caught a ride with him over to the Bonfire," I smirked as I took a step back and looked at Sara, Using to spread the curse even faster.

"What are you doing?" Caleb asked.

"Just making sure I'm making my point," I smirked as I kept Using. I stopped as I looked over at Caleb, my eyes still black, and watched as his eyes turned black. As I Used to push Caleb around the room and into the mirror on the bathroom, I giggled as I walked up to him. "Do you see my problem here?" I was still giggling. "I like to use. A lot," I leaned on the doorframe, "Only, no one really told me about the, uh, the effects," I was breathing heavily. "And the damage," I sighed. "The addiction, "And we both know what happens, now, don't we?" I over Caleb as I had each foot on either side of him. "So, the way I see it, I add your Power to what I already have..."

"It won't stop the aging!" Caleb warned, "Obviously, your father found out the hard way," I picked him up by his color and got even angrier.

"My father never had this kind of Power. Besides, I found a way to stop it. For good," I smirked evilly. "Just think of yourself as a sacrificial lamb," I chuckled. "Hell, you're already there Golden Boy. Why not go out a real hero?"

"It won't..."

"So tomorrow night, the barn. Where it all started. A birthday party. just you and me," I patted his face. "It's either you or them," I threatened. "And don't think that Haven will go out peacefully. I'll torture the most..." I smiled and kissed his cheek, "...Brother," I let him go and stood up, walking away and Using to fix the mirror.

"Don't leave her like that," Caleb called out as I opened the door, "she'll die!" I smirked as I turned and Used, uncasting the Creation Spell. After the spider had disappeared and the cure vanished, I left. Walking to my dorm and retrieving Haven.

-Present-

"Chase!" I heard Haven sob my name.

'Master, why are you leaving your bride?' I heard a Spider thought to me.

'I can't have her hurt. I'll do the deed alone. I won't let anyone near her,' I thought to the Spider. 'Spider. I need you to get other spiders and protect Haven,' I commanded and the Spider left me.

As I watched Sara get into Tyler's car and they drove away. I followed them on Haven's bike and Used, causing the car to flip over and crash, just like Pogue's bike last night. I stopped the bike and hopped off, walking over to the wreck.

"Help," I heard a weak voice.

"You know you won't survive this," I said as I knelt down and saw Tyler and Reid gasping.

"Chase, please," Reid begged.

"What did you do to Haven?" Tyler asked.

"Both of you Will your Power to her, and she'll survive. Do it, or I will torture her to the brink of death, only to heal her and do it all over again," I warned.

"I Will..." Tyler began until Reid cried out.

"No! Tyler, don't do it!"

"Do it, Tyler!" I roared.

"I Will Haven Williams my Power," Tyler gasped out and then lightning began to start up and shoot through the forest.

"TYLER!" Reid sobbed like a child.

"Tyler, no!" I heard Sara cry out.

"Do it, Reid. Just do it. End the pain," I growled.

"I Will Haven Williams my Power," Reid sobbed as the lightning got stronger. Now with both Reid and Tyler dead, I Used to make Sara's heart stop.

"Three down. Three to go," I smirked as I hopped back into Haven's bike and drove all the way to the Putnam barn. I sighed as I walked in, then I felt a pull that was dragging me to the top floor. Once I was in the middle, a small ring-like tattoo began to glow on my Wedding finger.

"Chase!" Caleb roared. "You promised!"

"I took out a little insurance policy," I smirked as I spun to face him. "Now, you will Will me your Power. Or do you want Haven tortured? "

"If I don't?"

"Then say Goodbye to Pogue and Kate. And your apologies won't matter to Haven, as she's knowing that you let her down while I torture her," I smirked.

"I'll do it!" Caleb cried as a lightning bolt hit him. He's Ascending.

"Say the words!"

"I will you my Power," Caleb said and he fell over, dead. Then a lightning bolt hit my heart and I screamed in pleasure. As I dropped, to the ground, I felt a presence behind me.

"Turn around, Child," I stood up and turned to see a man in clothes from the 1600s.

"John Putnam?" I asked.

"Yes, Chase. You have almost defeated the Covenant. You gain the last Share of the Power and you and Haven will gain all the Power. All the way back to the First ones. You two will be the strongest beings ever in the history of Mankind,"

"We will?" I asked with confusion.

"Gain the last Share and you will be unstoppable and unagable," John exclaimed as he walked around and his hands up. "Chase, you have to go now," I nodded and ran over to Haven's bike, driving over to Gloucester Hospital. I quickly walked to Kate's room and Used to stop her heart like I did with Sara.

'Master, Haven is sick. You have to hurry,' a Spider crawled on me.

'Go back to her and try to help her, please' I thought to the Spider and I felt the spider disappear as I walked into Pogue's room.

"What are you doing here, Chase?" Pogue gasped.

"You're all alone, Pogue,"

"What do you mean I'm all alone?"

"Everyone is dead. Kate, Tyler, Reid, Caleb, and Sara. They're all gone," I walked up to his bed.

"What did you do to Haven?!"

"I'm saving her for last. I'm gonna have fun with her," I smirked, loving how the lie got Caleb, Reid, and Tyler Will their Power away.  "Will me your Power and I will let her live and she'll be free,"

"It's true? Everyone's gone?"

"Yes,"

"I Will you my Power," Pogue whispered as he closed his eyes. His heart monitor ringing loudly and I quickly walked away to find a nurse.

A light bulb exploded and hit me in the heart, a new Power surging through me.

"Sir?!" A nurse ran up to me.

"My friend, his heart isn't beating!" I gasped out. The nurse nodded and ran to Pogue's room. I smirked as I left the hospital and hopped onto Haven's bike. As I quickly drove over to the forest where I left Haven. "Haven?!" I called out.

"Chase!" She called back. "Chase?!"

"I'm coming sweetheart!" I called out. As I got closer to Haven, she looked up to me and the branches let go of her, both of us running. "We did it, Baby," I whispered.

'In order for you to get the Power, you have to repeat your vow,' I heard John say in my head.

"Do you remember our vow?" I asked. Haven nodded and she started to recite it along with me.

"Ordinem lunae et stellarum in nomine tuus sum ego , et vos mei . Vitam et mortem bonum et nos unum sumus. (In the name of the moon and stars, I am yours and you are mine. Through life and death, we are one.)" Then as the full blue moon was bright, a large purple and blue wild lightning because to hide the moon, shooting a bolt at Haven and I. Then the same ring tattoo began to draw itself on her wedding finger.

"Is it officially over? We're officially one?" Haven asked shyly.

"Yeah, Baby. It's over. We're one and the strongest beings ever," I kissed her and she smiled.
