Hi everyone. I'm back with another story! This is my first vampire story. I also have another called Vampiric Love (not yet published). You may be wondering why the cover is on the first chapter. Well, I'll tell you. I want to explain who is who in this. Starting at the left, there is Frisk. She's the Advisor. Next is Fell. He's going to be the Warrior. Now we have Reaper/Death. Death is the King of the vampires. Now there is Geno. His role is important; he's the Seer. Then we have the little cinnamon roll Blue/Blueberry. He's the Peace Maker. Finally there's me, Mezmerelda. I'm the Mage. Just to let you know ahead of time, they have had those tattoos seance birth. Also, Fell and Reaper are the only vampires. Geno and Blue are normal monsters. I'm an animal half (basically someone who's half human half animal. It happens when an animal soul bonds with a human soul. A Bloodtiger soul bonded with hers). While Frisk is a demon half (basically their half  human half demon. This can only happen when a demon's soul merges with a human's soul). Anyway, I'm done telling ya stuff. Onto the story!

Geno's PoV:

Today's the day. I'm leaving this place FOREVER. 'Why are you leaving? You have a wonderful life here!' I hear the sensible person ask. Well, that's easy; I'm being forced into the military. I know what you're thinking,' But Geno, people are forced into the military all the time!' Welp, I have a news flash for you. It's illegal for someone under 30 to join the military. And guess what! I'm only 18! So Assgore is braking his own laws! Ha!

Anyway... I'm packing up what all I need for my little adventure.

Warm clothes?

Check 

Med kit?

Check 

My little brother's scarf?

Check

Food?

Shit...

I forgot to take some...

Well, no use taking any. My moms are light sleepers. Yes, I did say moms. You see, my father died when we were fighting the vampires. And two monsters adopted me afterwards. And their names are Undyne and Alphys. They have been taking care of me for five years now. I know it's cruel to leave them, but they will do as the king says. And I ain't having that.

*time skip an hour or two*

I look at the clock in my room. It's almost midnight. Time to get going. I slowly open the window and jumped out with my backpack on. I landed softly on the ground; not making a sound. Then I started running towards the FORBIDDEN LANDS; not leaving any footprints behind.

*time skip to morning*

I've been wondering around for a while now. I have had nothing to eat nor found anything to eat. I don't have any water either. And I feel like I'm being watched...

???? PoV (the first PoV change):

I spotted this mortal as they entered our land. I honestly don't know how King Death will react.

*time skip to morning*

I haven't seen the mortal eat or drink anything. "Maybe he's not hungry or thirsty..." I thought to myself. Well, I'm assuming their a he... Anyway, he seems to have noticed my presence. I should get going then. Besides, I need to report to Reaper anyway.

*time skip to when ???? gets to the kingdom*

As soon as I get back, I'm ushered to the thrown room. I kneel before the king and say," I have returned from my scouting mission, and I have something to report."

"Well, what is it Fell?" Death asked calmly but with a hint of curiosity. I stand and respond with," A mortal has entered the outer woods. It doesn't look like he's a threat, and he hasn't eaten as well."

He looks at me surprised, and gave me orders I was not expecting.

"I want you to keep an eye(socket) on him, and if he gets in a critical condition... bring him to the kingdom."

"Yes sir."

With that, I left to keep an eye(socket) on this strange mortal.

Undyne's PoV (final PoV change):

I woke up to the sound of someone knocking on the door. I quickly changed and went to open it. When I opened the door, I saw two guards.

"Well you're here early," I said tiredly.

"Sorry Captain Undyne, but King Asgore wanted to get Geno to the camp as soon as possible," one of the guards said.

"I'll go get him then," I said as I headed up the stairs. I walked down the hall till I got to Geno's room. When I opened the door, I was met with an empty room.

I looked around his room and saw that the window was open. Now why would... The realization hit me like a bullet. Geno ran away. I ran downstairs and told the soldiers what happened. They then left with grim looks on their faces. I guess I'll tell Alphys later...
