After a lot of convincing we finally agreed to go. Though I know we wasted a lot of time eating and talking we had to wait for night fall. So we got some sleep sense we're going to be traveling for most of the night. Which is fine cause all but one of us gain energy from the darkness. Mason was very lets just say upset about this development seeing as he relies on the sun and light. Plus his magic won't be strong or work at all. So me Maverick and Ryder need to on high alert to protect him.

    As the sun set we gathered everything we needed and headed out. And I know what you're thinking (Esmeray what about the King and guardsman. Shouldn't they be wake by now and patrolling the grows looking for you.) To answer that they would be wake if they hadn't been spelled. You see I went and put a potion in the food as it was cooking so it should buy us a few hours. And prior to that I may have sent them out on a wild goose chase using an illusion to make the patrol think they saw me headed towards the northern border.

   The night was quite not a sound was made no creatures to be seen. While we walked we made sure to be as quite as possible both because we don't want to disturb the wild life but also so we don't make our presence know to the guards. After a few hours of what seems like aimless walk we found the eastern border that separates Gorias from Avalon on the top of a hill.

As I looked back at my homeland I saw the once beautiful and bright lands withering and decaying. The fields barren it looks like a desert. I then felt a hand resting on my shoulder. I looked over and saw Maverick there with the others. "Come on we need to get going. The sooner we leave and the other kingdoms support the sooner we can come back and save the lands together."

When he finished he looked over to see if they agree. I followed his gaze to see the conviction and determination in their eyes. "We're with you through thick and thin. We might not of known each other before today, but I feel like we need to stick together." I was caught off guard when it was Ryder who said this seeing as I thought he was an asshole. But maybe there's more to him then what meets the eye. "Alright. Lets go." I said but we had no idea what laid ahead.
