Dark spread over the sky, dusk growing beyond the horizon. Utter darkness prevailed as clouds thickened and the sky stricken, spattering out the starlight. The far-flung scudding clouds appeared crimson by the last golden glow of the sun, the sun rays reflecting and reddening the clouds. Soon the colossal cumulonimbus clouds turned ghost-grey, shadowy and silvery, which were overcasting and lowering along with a hotheadedly quick-tempered wind, ravaging across the cliffside. 

There was also the thunderstorm ahead, yonder the atmosphere. Earsplitting thumpings of thunder boomed, bolts of lightning flashing, as bright as burning magnesium within the vague clouds. The rain showering from the hovering clouds beyond the atmosphere, the pregnant drops pitter-pattering along with the whistling breezes blowing to and fro along with the buffeting gusts. The drops of water were splashing so hard that it buried underneath the soil, forming spots of mud on the ground.

The seashore resembled war-torn and battle-scarred. The neighbouring ample boats were stranded in shallow water, bordering to the boardwalk or some were even attached firmly bollards, wavering and shaking, almost separating from the rope. 

The tides splashing against the huge rocks, climbing up the stones and slipping back. The ebbs guiding the waves to the shore, creating a soothing sound.

The sailors assayed to prepare for the sudden stringent flare-up blows of the gust. The breeze arose to drive the still waters too storm-tossed, which turned into mountains of turbulent waves. The sailors struggled the curls of water and haphazardly, holding on heroically, escalading up the waves and then crashing down in a cascade, reaching out to the coast.

It was like a winter chill caressing the body, causing a shiver to the skin.
